Is anyone having any problems using the 3D tool in illustrator?The perspective is almost in reverse. Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but I have never experienced this before.

I'm having an issue where a black background prints and shows up in a PDF of a file where there is no black background. Also, when I opened an SVG file created by someone else, a black background appeared where there shouldn't be one. I'm including screenshots of the illustrator file  (no background) and the PDF (black background). Any ideas?

The jpg image is rasterized and in its own layer. I can rotate it, shear it, transform it... But the perspective warp will NOT apply! What am I missing? Using current Adobe Illustrator 2020

I’m trying to figure out how to make the text transparent on the design behind, like a cutout. Is there a way to do that?

Tengo un inconveniente con la presión en ilustrator y mi Wacom, no funciona, realice pruebas en Photoshop y si funciona la presión, no se a quien corresponde el problema si Wacom o adobe.Mi sistema operativo es Mac os x Catalina 10.15.7.Versión de ilustrator 2021 (25.4.1).Versión driver Wacom 6.3.44-1.Aclaro que en las configuraciones de ilustrator, en el apartado de dispositivos si está activado la tableta Wacom. Quedo a la espera de sus comentarios, gracias.

Hello.Mac Studio 2022; Chip Apple M1 Max; Memory 64 GB; macOS Sequoia 15.6.1AI 29.81.I have two problems: 1. When opening certain files, Illustrator crashes on startup. These files were created this year, they have a last modified date in january/february. I updated, tried GPU Performance both on and off, reset preferences, enabled content recovery with no avail.I tried opening them on another machine and same behaviour. They worked for sure in February of this year.UPDATE: I downgraded to 29.6 and now it works.Maybe this needs to be addressed in v 29,61; 29,71; 29,8; 29,81 !2. In some other files that actually do manage to open, text boxes seem blank (video attached).They are there and full of text, if I copy and paste into new textboxes the text magically appears, but then sometimes it goes away again. From file preview (outside of AI) the text doesn't show.It happened a few times before, but managed to fix simply restarting Illustrator. To fix it this time I had to pa

Hello, I've ran into problem with bounding box, which doesn't match with the edge of a shape, as you can see in a screenshot nr 1.  It causes an unsatisfactory result after exporting selection in PNG format.Where can be the problem and how to fix it?

I was exploring the Flare Tool in Illustrator and noticed the 'Longest Ring' and 'Longest Ray' options in the dialog box. After experimenting several times, I realized that these settings aren’t 100% precise. Instead, they seem to act as parameters that Illustrator uses in a built-in random generation algorithm to create more natural and organic-looking rays and rings. If the tool used exact values, the flare would likely look too artificial. Did I understand this correctly?

I am having trouble turning my jpeg and png into linework (vector art) in Illustrator. When I hit image trace, I get this. Tried both files (jpeg and png)  Then I went into Photoshop and removed the background. Imported it in illustrator and got this result. A little bit better but the type is a little wonky and needs alot of work.       

Illustrator has been playing up and recently it has been failing to load shapes and images from template files i have been using for over a year. It is also adding background to shapes when im moving the shape but then dissapears when it stops moving. It's also messing up when adjusting the transparency of a shape or object. This has only happened in the last few days. I have tried uninstalling illustrator and then re-installing it as well as resetting my preferences but no changes. Any idea what might be going on. When I first start Illustrator and open a file with a single artboard to export to jpeg or png, the "Suffix" checkbox is unchecked in the explorer window for selecting where to save the file, but Illustrator adds the suffix to the file name anyway. The problem disappears if I check the box and then uncheck it immediately. After restarting Illustrator, the bug returns.Another problem with the checkbox in explorer is also observed when saving eps files with multiple artboards, if I uncheck the "Use Artboards" checkbox so that it saves one file, Illustrator still saves one common file + all artboards separately.I've written before about problems with these checkboxes in early versions of illustrator 2020, they were fixed, why are these bugs coming back in newer versions?Thanks

I'm trying to drag colors from an image to use while I'm drawing and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I'm not really sure what triggers it, but I'll be copying colors with the eyedropper fine and then all of a sudden I go to get another color and it won't work and I have no idea how to figure out how to get it to work again. it grabs a blank color and turns whatever shape I have selected blank.

Does anyone have a detailed tutorial on creating plugins specifically for Illustrator?---------I'm having problems creating a plugin for IllustratorNo matter how I make it, it won't show up in IllustratorI tried the following, but to no avail:- The script type works, but it is not suitable for my job- I tried several kinds of CEP/ExtendScript, but it doesn't work and doesn't appear in Illustrator- I used C++/SDKs  and created an .aip file, but it still doesn't appear in Illustrator- The UXP type doesn't support Illustrator at the moment, although I tried to find a way to do thatI feel really confused, because I tried it on three different computers, but none of them worked---------So if any of you know of new courses, I'd really appreciate it

This is a combination of single pattern. Is it possible to make it one single layer? not image. That means I should be able reverse it to original state of single pattern. Hi community. I am trying to make somethign wild, trying to somehow "recolor artwork" via code, the main idea si to have a design with non-pantone colors and then the script with just assig the closest match possible to the fill color. I transferred all my fonts in Fontbook from my mac to my pc, Windows 11. The transfer was successful because I can see them in Photoshop, but I can't see them in Illustrator. I've searched for answers, but I haven't found any answer this specific. How do I get them to show up in illustrator?

Since yesterday a regular feature is now gone. I have a clip group on a layer. I want to edit some of the objects inside the clip group. I used to be able to double click the clipping group and go inside isolation mode. Isolation mode is now gone. When I double click the clip group, nothing happens.

Hi Adobe Community,I’m comfortable using Photoshop and can draw anything there, but I’m struggling in Illustrator. I tried vectorizing a raster image, but the result got disrupted and didn’t preserve the details well. What’s the best approach or workflow in Illustrator to convert raster images to clean, accurate vector graphics? Are there any tips, tools, or settings that can help preserve the quality during conversion?
