HalloIch kann keinen Flächentext mehr erstellen. Jedenfalls wirkt es so oder er sieht anders aus. Hier ein Screenshot: Es ist hier irrelevant, ob ich das Direktauswahl-Tool oder das Auswahl-Tool nutze – die mittleren Anfasser sind weg und auch der weitere Anfasser, der zwischen Flächen und Punkt-Text wechseln kann, ist auch weg.Ich habe das Problem seit geraumer Zeit. Zwischendurch war es dann wieder normal und nun ist es wieder so.Ich vermute ihren eine wilde Tastenkombi, die ich aus Versehen getippt habe. Aber wie kann ich das wieder umstellen?

Hi everyone - I drew these flames using the pen tool and and outlined the stroke. Which in hindsight I shouldn't have done as it making this tougher. Im however trying to paint in the white space using the gradient mesh tool, but its not working due to the path having "too many points to create a gradient mesh"  My question is, how can I go about converting this to an object or something that would allow me to fill in the white space? When I go to object > convert to shape I get an error that the object is not converted but no reason as to why. Thanks in advance 🙂

I have updated to Illustrator 2025 (29.1)There is a problem with the latest version.Grouping multiple of objects using multiplication and then ungrouping them will remove the effect.The multiplication that had been set up has disappeared.The same thing happens with other data and is reproducible. I am using a translator.I apologize for my poor English. 

I have 10 files with the same link in the illustrator file, the name of the link image file is “480_F_503906393_YrrW2lWOCpsBzjQRATfuNoTnhP.jpg”Because the file name is too long and does not have a good association, I changed the file name to be easy to remember “little girl.jpg”When renaming the file, the illustrator file reported Missing Link, I performed Replace > selected the link image named "little girl.jpg" and clicked Search for Missing Links in This Folder > clicked the Replace button.But I had to repeat the above operation up to 10 times, while with the previous version I only needed to perform Replace all once with the new file to automatically update the files.

Hello all, I'm experiencing issues with my scripts in Illustrator CC 2024. Each script has around 20 functions, and they used to run smoothly in CS5 and CS6. Now, they only run for about 10 files out of 80 files before stopping. Can anyone help me understand why the scripts are stopping? Is it related to Adobe Illustrator CC 2024 or the graphics?

My boxes are creating phantom images that are only visible at the bottom of the shape. They seem to be words that are either elsewhere on the file, or had been and then deleted. I've ungrouped so many times that there is no way the image is actually there. I've updated Illustrator. I've exported it to see if it was just a display glitch, but it won't go away, even when printed. It seems to go away with a clipping mask, but I'd like to fix the actual problem.

It takes up so much space and I will never use it, I don't want to look at it. It's just annoying and unnecessary. If it HAS TO  be there it should be a completely separate panel that I can hide.

Hi all,Even thought I set the keyboard increment to 1 px, it moves 3-4 pixels at a hit on an arrow key. Setting it to 0.1 px doesn't make any difference. The distance of movent is not even. The first hit moves an object 4 px, the second 8 px.I reinstalled the OS, the app, preference reset, ... nothing helped so far.Any ideas?

I got an illustrator update and it seems like there are a lot of errors. But I have to use the new function, so please watch the video and tell me how to solve it. How do I fix the font auto-change error?

When selecting objects, the location of the objects changes as if the left click was pressed. I don't have this problem in Photoshop.

I know this is the Illustrator community but I have this issue in all of my Adobe apps. I use Illustrator the most so I'm posting here first. Here is my issue, I have two Mac computers both running the latest version of the Ventura operating system (13.6.7 at the time of this post), one of them is at the office and the other one is at home for work I do when away from the office. I have a teams account with Adobe provided by my employer. I log into CC using the same ID on both machines. On my computer at the office, I can add new items to any of my Adobe Libraries in any of the apps. However, on my home computer I can't add anything new? I can delete items from my libraries and drag and drop from these libraries into my documents but I am unable to drag into the library, add to library using the menus or use the plus signs at the bottom of the pallets as these are greyed out on my home Mac. Things I have already tried to fix this myself are: I have cleaned the CC app using th

Hello Community, Since v2024 (I think) when opening a PDF drawing, Illustrator asks you to replace any missing fonts, but it used ask you if you wanted to Import the text as Curves (might have been called something else I can't remember) whereas now it doesn't ask you that.Instead now you have to accept the default font or search online and install a font which adds more time to the job and we need to liase with IT for installing the fonts.Is there anyway to set Illustrator to ask you if you want to convert text to curves/lines/symbols if the font is missing in the system instead of Adobe only asking you to replace the font with the system default or another font?

Hola, quise descargar Adobe illustrator desde mi cuenta con suscripción y me encontré con la sorpresa de que me pone que "Mi sistema es incompatible" Pense que era por tener la ultima version de W11, por lo tanto, hace 1hs formateé y me instale el w10 version 22h2, la cual en los requerimientos de Illustrator dice que funciona, y ni aún así me deja descargarlo, necesito ayuda urgente porfavor!  

 Hello All,I am trying to create more cleaner shaper shapes using better setting in image trace without having to redraw the shape as the image is a large full pattern design and that may take longer then I need it to.The image above is a Photoshop file and the image right below it is an illustrator file. My goal is the match the illustrator file as closely as I can with the Photoshop file using image trace with only the settings used in image trace without having to redo the whole image (or at least having as few misshapes in the file as possible that I can fix later). My issues in illustrator is the after effect of using image trace, there is another blob or rounded shaped color around or inside the squares. I don't mine fixing and repairing a few, however I want to be able to correct the squares and shapes as closely to the Photoshop version as possible. I am currently using illustrator 2024 version, Thanks in advance! 

Hi there,In an old Illustrator CS6 vector, the gradients became banded and fragmented when I opened them in the newer Illustrator. I layered the gradients with the screen blending mode. I used to have no problems with this vector file, but the problem appeared in my new Illustrator (29.1). Can you help me with what the problem could be?

I often run into this issue where certain anchors will incorrectly display the line width, as if one side of the width is sheared off. This is not the result of using the width tool to edit one side only — in fact, I've tried using that method to correct the issue to no avail. Two things seem to "fix" the display error, but they're only workarounds that cause their own unwanted effects:1. If I round the corner of the affected anchor point, the issue disappears. But I often don't want a rounded corner.2. If I use the width tool to increase the line width there, the issue disappears. But I have to increase it so much that it's far off from my desired width. If I try to decrease it again to get closer to the desired width, we go back to the issue displaying. (And I swear I'm not working with unrealistically small widths or crazy width changes between points! Bonjour,Hier, j'ai travaillé sur une illustration utilisant des "Gradients" libres. Aujourd'hui, je souhaite réouvrir le fichier de l'illustration ainsi que le document dans lequel le visuel a été incorporé, mais lorsque je double-clique sur le fichier, rien ne se passe. Dans Illustrator, j'arrive à ouvrir d'autres fichiers .ai et à importer les fichiers qui refusent de s'ouvrir, mais si je tente via le panneau lien de "Modifier via l'original", c'est illustrator qui plante... J'ai essayé sur mon Macbook Pro et mon IMac, même problème donc cela ne vient pas de l'ordinateur. Ci-joint, le lien vers la capture de mon écranJ'ai plusieurs versions de l'illustration et je rencontre le même problème, je pense donc que c'est le "Gradient libre" qui empêche le fichier de s'ouvrir. I tried to download Fresco to access my Adobe Draw files on my iPad. Well my iPad only runs iOS 15 and you need iOS 16 to run Fresco. The files are stored somewhere on my ipad right? How can I see them?

Some existing files are marked as "changed" upon opening although I haven't made any changes, no links were updated, no fonts were substituted or missing... Even if I save the unchanged file, when I close and reopen it, it is marked as changed agian. Save as didn't solve it. After a lot of investigation, I found that this happens if there is a locked layer that contains linked images. If I unlock it and save the file, it will open normally without being marked as changed (no star after filename in the document tab). Is there someting I can do to solve this or is it a bug we should report?

Hello! When I create a new document in Illustrator, I immediately name it for the project I'm working on (red box, uploaded image). As I'm typing, the active field reverts back to the most recent item under "your recent items" (green box) and I have to click or tab back over to the name field again. Typically it's been happening once, then I can finish setting the info and create the new doc. This happened twice now with the most recent document I'm creating. It was occuring with illustrator 2024 and is now continuing with the newest update 2025. I've reinstalled, rebooted, all the basics.
