¿Alguien sufrió problemas con la herramienta de rotación? Veo que cuando la uso, el programa consume muchísimos más recursos de lo que debería, y si aplico repetición del objeto se pone aún peor 

I'm having issues with strange lines on my screens since the last update for Illustrator 2024 and now have the same issue with Illustrator 2025. Is there a fix? Plus, not all of my art will show on the screen.   

I'm helping out on a website project for our school, using mainly a colour scheme with 3 colours for different sections. When it comes saving in PDF or printing, the purple colour becomes dark blue. As it's a web project I started in RGB mode, but since i do have to print to present i now experimenting in CMYK mode as well, not to avail. Anyone could offer me a similar purple colour that exists in both screen and print mode, or doesn't differ that much? Or 3 colours of orange/green/purple that harmonise? Colours i'm using:in RGB:Orange - 234, 154, 37Green - 138, 204, 103Purple - 106, 83, 187 in CMYK:Orange - 0, 48, 82, 0Green - 52, 0, 73, 0Purple - 70, 62, 0, 0 I also have a problem that i can't print in A3 size directly from Illustrator? Anyone experienced it? In order to set the page size, you have to leave Illustrator's print dialogue window to move onto the operational windiw of the printer, and it still prints only in A4... thank you in advance

I'm trying to apply roughen with a script. The executeMenuCommand gives a popup, but I want the options to be automated. The script below works (applies the roughen), but I don't now which data I can put in the Dict. Strangely, an error appears when calling an action from a script.It was reported here that the error can occur due to wrong action name or if the action is selected. The reasons given have been double-checked and still this error. Perhaps there is some other reason? At the same time, launching this action from the action bar works without any issues. p.s.  bugs are popping out of every crevice

Using fonts like "SF Pro" or "Vintage Culture Regular" or many others, Illustrator does not respond smoothly.It seems that there are episodes of lag and micro-stuttering that do not allow me to work well.Despite using a very high-performance desktop computer, I continue to notice frequent slowdowns while using the program...I would be grateful if you could provide me with indications on how to solve this inconvenience or if an update is planned that can improve the stability of the software.

Hi all, I hope someone can help me. I am struggling to open any file on illustrator. For some reason it does not show the graphics. It only shows a black screen. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it multiple times. I have also used Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner to uninstall Illustrator, reinstalled and still the same problem persists. I have excluded illustator from my threats and security. I have tried installing a different version. Same problem. All my other Adobe programs work perfectly. Any ideas on what else to try?

I'm trying to save several typographic designs as SVG, type as SVG not outline. For some files it works perfectly, with others I get an error saying "Text is converted to outline". I can't figure out why, I'm hoping someone here can help.Thanks

I have created a relatively simple tree based on a triangle and multiple line segment objects. I want it to be split into two colors (green and white). Inverted from the background. The fill of the triangle is transparent.  I have not found a way to make strokes transparent.  Is there an easy way to accomplish.  Attached image hopefully clarifies intent. 

What am I missing here? I have Illustrator v28.7.2 and Illustrator v29.0 on my computer and I can't figure out why the brush tool is behaving completely different from one version to the next.  In this video the v28.7.2 brush behaves the same as it has for years in illustrator. In this v29.0 example it isn't really working at all; deleteing previously drawn lines and averaging the art into something unrecognizable.  Same exact brush/ stroke used on bother versions, sames scale on the screen. All the paint brush tool settings are exactly the same too (set to fully accurate under fidelity, same settings for edit selected paths with 6 pixels, fill brush strokes, etc).  I can't figure out what I'm missing.  I'm grateful for any help! 

I downloaded Illustrator 2025 and deleted the 2024 version, only to realise that my favourited fonts had not carried over to the new version. I tried to redownload the 2024 version but could not find it. Does anyone know how I can restore my favourited fonts? I had spent a lot of time curating them and I would be upset to lose all that effort.  Thanks in advance for any help.

This issue has been around for years for many users and I still haven't found a fix on these forums. If anyone has a new idea PLEASE HELP - this issue is driving me crazy.Illustrator cannot render CMYK colours accurately on an external monitor. Every other program including Adobe programs with the same colour settings display an accurate colour, but Illustrator shows something that is way off. I have tried multiple computers and screens all calibrated with a Spyder. Prints from illustrator files come out correct but in order to proof them I have to check the file on my laptop.Please if you have any ideas help! I have already gone through Adobe remote support and they gave up, as well as Nvidia (my graphics card) Remote support.I have used both a Dell Ultrasharp and a Thinkvision p27u and the problem persists.

Hi to everyone!I have a problem with copy/paste Remembers Layers (especially from one document to another). I turned on the setting for pasting objects into the original levels, but it's not working, at least not the first time: I have to select again the graphics I have to copy, paste it and then (if I am lucky!) it will work the second or third time, and I don't understand why.What bothers me even more (and this happened especially when i am in remote working through Anydesk) when I'm copy/pasting the color information is not retained, i.e. if I copy a black only object in CMYK it will be pasted into another level and not in the original one, therefore making it a 4-color black. Is this happened to someone? Thank you in advance!

How can I opt out of the beta program? Because it is causing a nightmare issue over trying to install the Astute Plugin Suite. Any advice would be helpful.

Where has the nudge command gone to? if gone, then how do i move objects with the arrow keys? Help, I need this function. its got to be somewhere. was in all previous versions of ai. 

Hello, I just updated to v29 and can no longer transform objects using the selection tool (click the object, hold down shift and drag from an anchor point to scale the object.) It wants me to use the Transform tool, which is fine I guess but would much prefer to use the selection tool. Any ideas on how I can do this? Thanks in advance!

When I'm saving a file after a little more changes illustrator crashes, in the task manager it reaches 100% usage in RAM and Memory, AIRobin in front with more usage, I've already lost a file because I couldn't save your changes, I've already uninstalled illustrator and Adobe Cloud but the problem continues, first it happened in a file, I thought it was him, but after editing another the problem is the same, I have a good Pc I never had this problem of use at 100%, I have 32GB of RAM, SSD 1tb and a Ryzen 5 4600G.I have also checked if there was any corrupted file, there is not, how can I solve this?I'm very frustrated because I can't work and I'm not using AiRobin!!

Recentemente o meu Illustrator esta com algum erro, ao tentar abrir qualquer janela dentro do programa ele simplismente não abre. Consigo notar que a janela pisca na tela e fecha imeditamente. A primeira vez que notei foi na atualização 2025. Porém agora mesmo nas versões antigas o erro continua. Não sei como resolver. Já reinstalei os drives de vídeo e o Creative Cloud, porém o problema persiste.

I have a shape I applied 'type on a path' to, and after adding the text to it, the path is not able to be separated from the text applied to it. If I try to use 'expand', the path is deleted. The only workaround I know of is to duplicate the path first before applying text to it so I have a clean copy.

i'm a new user of illustrator and just discovered otf fonts, but ligatures are not working, any idea? the button is enabled but not functional, also, i'm testing with ra re ri ro ru, wich i know are ligatures present on the font... what should i do?
