Questions

Eu to tentando abrir um documento meu no Illustrator que aparece a msg "Este documento obtém objetos incompatíveis". Diz que eu preciso abrir o arquivo com a versão que eu criei ele. Mas o problema é que esse arquivo eu tava usando ele de boa no sábado e ainda no sábado ele simplesmente parou de abrir e aparecer esse aviso. Eu já atualizei o app, eu já testei nas duas versões e não é isso. Não é problema de espaço porque eu to criando outros arquivos e ta funcionando. E esse é o único arquivo que ta com esse problema. Não tem, a princípio, nada, nenhum erro! Eu não sei o que fazer, não queria ter que refazer o que eu já fiz. 

Sometimes I start Illustrator and everything is fine. I create a circle....or square and I can rotate like normal. Other times, I can only expand or contract the shape. The arrow option to rotate will not show up. If it is an object that I have placed on the artboard, I never have any problem rotating. It seems to only be shapes I create with the shape tools. I have saved a document in illustrator 2025, and reopened it in illustrator 2024, (because the pencil tool didnt work in 2025) and now all the hidden layers are deleted. That is really not good 

there used to be a cross inside the elipse tool to draw cirkels, it is suddenly not there anymere. I can hold shift when drawing, but it was easyer when it did it by itself. Could i have touched a shortcut by accident, and in case which is it? 

illustrator won't open it's showing an open app but with nothing in it it's like a loading screen of an app

I have created multiple layers using Polar Grids, circles to hide elements of the polar grids, and numbers. Now I am trying to merge them all together to end up with the white spaces as objects so I can change the colours or delete.  Prefrably keep the numbers seperate so they sit in front of the (white) boxes.> So in the end I want to be able to change the colours behind numbers individually.> also be able to change the colour of the grey in different sections.I'm not a big Illustrator user, mostly Photoshop. Couldn't find anything in the help.Image trace not clear enough in conversion.My Image is attached for reference.  

When I export my artwork as a j peg, even though I have remember paste layers checked the artwork exports but NOT the layers, there is only 1 layer showing the complete illustration.Same thing happening if I export as a Tiff etc.Also this is not just happening with one illustration it is happening with all of themJust cannot understand why, never had this problem beforeI design wallpaper so do this procedure regularly.I am using Illustrator 27.2version, updated to the 2023 versionWould appreciate any help.Regards Jean 

I have a file that is a year old created in Adobbe Illustrator with a continous thread box over several art boards. When I open it now all the text is broke into many small threads. Is there an easy fix to reunite back to one thread? (I know this may not be the best program for this setup but its all I have.)

We're using Century Gothing Paneuropean.  The font has Semi Bold and Regular weights.  However, even though the file names are unique to each, CenturyGothicPaneuropeanRegular.ttf and CenturyGothicPaneuropeanSemiBold.ttf, and the file preview in Finder displays the difference in weights, all font and design software read the two files both as "regular" and treat it as duplicates.  The SemiBold is listed as "Regular" in font software and loads into Illustrator as Regular and the real regular disappears.  How do I fix this?

Many of my illustrator files have links that are in different directories/folders.I wish to tidy up my illustrator files and package them so that the linked images are in the same folder. I do not wish to do this one at a time as I have hundreds of illustrator (AI) files. Can anyone suggest a method or software that will allow me to PACKAGE multiple AI files please? This could save me days of work. I appreciate that the ideal scenario was to have linked files within the same folder which I have started doing. 🙂 MANY THANKS

I've ran into an issue recently. Never happened before and I've exported a million PNG with white vectors in my lifetime. This time, the white vector, in this case logos, are not exporting and the final PNG only shows the background, in this case, solid black. No changes in settings and nothing done in particular to the file. It's just an artboard with two layers: black solid background and white vector logos on top. Exporting routine selected file>export>export as>png. Here's the video

I had to do a new install of my operating system after some issues with Windows. On a brand new system installation, Illustrator recognizes my GPU, creates documents with my GPU rendering enabled, but as soon as I interact with the canvas with any tool (Pen, Text, Square, Placing other files...), it gets grayed out and switches to CPU rendering mode. I already tried:* removing preference files and folders* reinstalling NVidia drivers* reinstalling Adobe (with and without the Cleaner toolkit)* enabling "High performance mode" for all the executables on Windows Settings* setting up individual profiles on the Nvidia Control Panel for application-exclusive configurations* even swapping application languages. And even tho I'm having this issue more severely on Illustrator, I'm pretty sure the same is happening on InDesign and Photoshop, since they have been very very slow since this all happened on files that weren't an issue before. Looking for answers on the forums, many pe

Bonjour,J'ai réalisé le facing d'une boite alimentaire 130 x 140 x45 sur illustrator.Maintenant je dois réaliser un mock-up de cette boite pour pouvoir la présenter.Comment puis-je faire ?- télécharger un mock-up ou- réaliser mon mock-up ?J'ai cherché un mock-up avec ses dimensions mais je ne trouve rien...Dois-je créer ma propre boite ? I created a user-defined swatch library of six seamless pattern tiles. I did 'save swatch library as AI', but for some reason the default color swatches have been added also. I only want the ones I created. How to get rid of the added defaults? Thanks! 

In previous versions of Illustrator I could take the Artboard Tool and click on an object or image and it would automatically create an artboard that exact size. Now I have to shift+click to make that happen, execpt that EVERYONE ELSE on my team can still do it the old way, no shift clicking needed.While this isn't the end of the world, years of muscle memory will take time to overcome, but more importantly I want to figure why this is happening. There doesn't seem to be any obvious option or setting I can change to make it work like it used to. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi, I have a pdf of a menu that needs to be sent to a restaurant. They need to edit it. I used a semibold and when they edit it the text it turns to bold. Obviously not great situation.  I'm not great at illustrator or acrobat for menus. SO ...here are some pictures ot the document properties in acrobat.  They state that the fonts are embedded subsets. I can use the Typeface as regular, bold, and italic , but when I got to the drop down menu to change it to semi bold I have a problem, it is not there, it only says the type face name - baskerville. It does not even say Baskerville bold or Baskerville italic. I'm redoing their previous menu. So I may have copy and pasted from a word document and that screwed everything up? Obvisously need to know asap. thanks,in advance. 

So i just changed PCs and noticed that in my Adobe Illustrator the GPU Performance says "Compatible GPU not available." What gives? isn't 4060 supposed to be newer? Why is it incompatible?

Hello, I've noticed that the "Apply to All" Button is missing when you open a file with the links missing from this current update v28.5. I have been using illustrator for a while. However today most menu options are greyed out. I have reset all prefrences and reinstalled the app aswell. Any help-?

Within a company, if I create a shared cloud library with my team (with permissions for them to edit) and I am the owner. Say I left the company and my email was deleted, would this delete the entire shared library? 

W nowej wersji Illustratora narzędzie do rysowania (ważne narzędzie w mojej pracy (tablet WACOM) jest całkowicie zepsute. Nie reaguje na zmianę ustawienia exact-smooth i nie zamyka ścieżki. Na ustawieniach „exact” rysuje bardzo uproszczone kształty - co dyskwalifikuje to narzędzie. W poprzedniej wersji te funkcje działały dobrze.

Everytime i try to move something, i get the windows error sound and the black box as shown to the bottom right of the cursor. How can i fix this?

Is anyone else having trouble printing text in Adobe Illustrator 29.0.1? I can print text perfectly fine in version 29.0, but there seems to be an issue with 29.0.1. How can I fix this problem?

I recently download this last version of Illustrator (v28.71) and it start crashing when I zoom in/out or when I just press alt and move the cursor, idk why this happen, but I download and older version (v28.0) and it runs perfectly, I can zoom in/out without any problem. Someone can help me?
