I have a logo I am attempting to make into an SVG. The problem I keep running into is that the text, specifically the O's and the registered trademark logo are messing up. I have created outlines and expanded the text and image. Where have the Advanced Type preferences settings been moved to?I am using Illustrator version 28.6 on a mac and the advanced type preferences are nowhere to be found.  I want to set the default super and subscript percentages.  It doesnt even come up in the Help.

Hi, I am new to Adobe products. My girlfriend has been using my gaming computer for photoshop and illustrator. She is a patterns designer and creates repeat patterns within adobe illustrator, using swatches. For some reason a specific file when opened and upon any movement within the file. It crashes, (not responding) it takes about 60 seconds to unfreeze and then if you move again it will freeze again and again. The file size is only 11MB, where a different file we can open is 20MB and works perfectly fine. The program is using my 4090 GPU but the crashing also happens when intel graphics is being used. My PC - 4090 RTX Gigabyte GPU 64Gb Ram CPU - 19 13900K Z790 Aorus Elite AX Motherboard

Bonjour, depuis la dernière mise à jour d'illustrator, c'est l'enfer.  Illustrator bloque au démarrage, puis bloque à l'ouverture d'un fichier, créé par lui même, puis sur des copier collé et enfin en enregistrant.  C'est minimum 30secondes de blocage, à chaque fois et windows indique le logiciel ne réponds plus.  J'ai un PC portable, I9 GO de ram et une nvidia RTX quadro 4000. Depuis 4 ans, aucun soucis avec illustrator. Et maintenant, plus rien, j'ia tout desinstallé, nettoyé et reinstallé, mais rien n'y fait. Je ne sais plus quoi faire et j'ai un besoin urgent qu'illustrator fonctionne à nouveau. C'est un outil presque quotidien dans mon travail.  Merci d'avance et bonne journée

ILLUSTRATOR 27.8 2023 ON MAC M1.The paste command V (that we have all been using since 1990's) now pastes to a random place out of view. Like 7 artboards out of view.Paste in front pastes 2 artborads to the right Paste in place does the sameBut its the fact that  V just pastes 180cm up the workspace for one thing and 90cm up the workspace for another that was on the same artboard before. If I move up the screen - the paste goes off again too, to where I cant see the result. Nightmare. I can't see any setting to fix this.Anyone?  Help!

Add Options for Viewing when using Save As... Adobe PDF in Illustrator, like InDesign:Currently we have to do this in Acrobat, which is an extra few steps in the workflow.

 Can some help me please. There isnt the dots to round out the shapes Is there a fix to this. I have even uninstall and install the software? 

Hello everyone, I've been tasked with creating a document for my company's customers that shows a bunch of pertinent metrics for each customer that prints out as a pdf.  Easy enough for most of the metrics.  The one thing I can't figure out is the graph - I've got a script basically setup to automate the actual graph creation that will save the file as a .ai that will then import into the Indesign file based on a naming convention - but my graph has one little hiccup that I can't figure out how to automate and I'm hoping the experts here may be able to help me. The teams requesting the document didn't want a stacked area graph, but they also didn't want a simple line graph either, because they're hard to see on the page.  So when I did a mock-up version I ended up getting to what they did want by creating a line graph and then using the pen tool to basically turn the lines into area graphs (i.e. I filled the lines into and basically turned them into shapes) and

I have these random values (see image below) that are constantly displayed on my screen after opening illustrator. The values stay stuck on the screen no matter what I do even when opening other browsers. The only way to get rid of them is restarting my laptop but this doesnt help as they just reappaear when I open illustrator again. Would appreciate any help, thanks.

Hi,remember the Photoshop Splash Screen Freeze Bug a couple of weeks ago?Yea... I had to swipe clean my entire Adobe CC Apps. But since my Workstation is a little overaged by now I need to rely on older CC versions. Which I had to delete bc...I contancted support to give me access to older apps Installers which worked quite mediocrely...Now I got Illustrator 26.0 (and other apps) but I can't update it through Creative Cloud Desktop  App.Anyone got an idea how to update the instable Illustrator 26.0 to latest version 26.5.3?Thanks!

I have a MacBook, and when I open Illustrator, it is just a black screen and I cannot click on any tabs to open a new file, change the settings, etc. I have tried uninstalling and redownloading but nothing works.

Hello,I'm experiencing an issue with Adobe Illustrator where the Align panel does not respond when I click on it. I've tried the following steps without success:Resetting the workspace (Window > Workspace > Reset [Workspace Name]).Reinstalling Adobe Illustrator.Restarting the application and the computer.All other features in the application work perfectly fine. I'm using [Windows/MacOS] with Adobe Illustrator [version number]. This issue persists only with the Align panel, and I'm unable to make it visible or functional.I've checked for updates, and everything is up-to-date. Which side will be used to equalize all the sides, and could you please provide a detailed explanation of this concept with this or another example?I have attached an example.

When I double click any .ai file I get this message "The application “Adobe Illustrator” can’t be opened."Everything I have seen says to update Mac OS, but I am fully updated, so thats not the issue. I can open the program and drag the files in to a new document to work on them, but I'd rather not.

I'd like to use the F1 key for something other than the Discover panel. Can I do that?

I'm working on a postcard design for print purposes with several embedded images and text elements. I've saved successfully several times early on, but suddenly, every time I attempt to save, I get the message "A File I/O Error Has Occurred". I need to get this to the printer, but can't make important changes now. HELP! Thanks, paul

Recently my workload has increased. Whenever I am working on heavy files on Illustrator and on Photoshop at the same time my laptop shuts down and restars. This is realy frustrating as it interferes with my work. I have even lost some files that I forgot to save in time. Me laptop is 1 years old with the following characteristics (which I think are optimal for working on Adobe): MacBook Pro 2022, Apple M2 chip, 8GB memory, mac OS 14.0 (23A344). Is there something wrong with my laptop or with the Adobe suite? Or is this just a sign from the universe to stop working? /s Thank you! [renamed by mod]

I'm trying to open a smart object in photoshop beta to modify it in adobe illustrator 2024 and i'm getting the message "impossible to open Adobe Illustrator". I updated my operating system and I even tried using regular photoshop instead of beta and it's still not working. 

I have tested some other options from searching and not getting the results that I needing.   On the image I need to create a fill behind the entire image that is the same shape as the design, but increase the size to create a cut line.The options that I have tried are putting a path behind the Concordia text in the shape of the letters instead.  I am certain that I have not explained this very well.  

I can't manage to increase and decrease the font size, may i know why does it happen and how do i fix it? thank you so much

I'm using a dutch version of Adobe Illustrator 23.1 (64-bit) on windows 10 pro.   When I set the reference point to the middle of a circle (or anywhere else) it jumps back as soon as I want to set a value. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong, can someone please help me.   {Renamed by MOD}
