I will publish said complaint in Spanish. I bought Adobe Illustrator for college and after paying when I downloaded the app it told me it wasn't compatible with my operating system (W11 23H2). When they released a version for Windows 11, 23H2, I lost my money buying an outdated program that isn't compatible with the most up-to-date versions. I need a solution or a refund. If anyone in the community knows a complaint channel I would appreciate the help.   

WHY DOES ILLUSTRATOR CRASH ON MY IPAD PRO (4th generation)? I can't do anything without it crashing when I try to pull up a file. I'm so sick of this. I love Illustrator and need to get some work done, but if this will not stop happening then I will be forced to find another way to do my work.

The Illustrator (Beta) app icon was disappeared on the Home page of Creative Cloud after updating the app . Cannot launch the above named app when clicking the app icon on my desktop.I have tried the following actions but still not working.  - uninstalled and reinstalled the illustrator- sign out and sign in Creative Cloud account

 I have a 100x100 pt grid in Adobe Illustrator, divided by 5 horizontal dividers. With the skew value set to 0 in the Rectangular Grid Tool, these dividers are evenly spaced. However, when I increase the skew value to 10%, I observe the following vertical shifts in the dividers:- The topmost divider moves upward by 3.71 pt.- The next divider moves upward by 6.12 pt.- The middle divider moves upward by 7.1 pt.- The fourth divider moves upward by 6.52 pt.- The bottommost divider moves upward by 4.12 pt.Given that the distance between the top horizontal divider and the rectangular frame is 16.67 pt, a 10% skew should theoretically result in a movement of 1.667 pt. However, I observe a movement of 3.71 pt instead.Could you please explain why the top divider moves by 3.71 pt instead of the expected 1.667 pt when a 10% skew is applied? 

I'm having a weird issue that is causing me a lot of grief.  I'm wanting to take an object, taper it (or rotate it on its x-axis) to give it a 3d feel.  When I do this its fine.  However, if I try to stroke the entire group to get a nice line around my entire art I only get a potion of the stroke to show up.  I've noticed that if I turn the rotation off, the stroke works mostly correct. It was suggested that I save this into version 3, load that file and try to stroke the group but that still doesn't work.  The rotation is still being observed. I've worked with illustrator for years and this is the first time I've ever been stumped on what to do with this.  All the videos I watched says I'm doing it right just can't get it to actually work.

Hello,I've made a piece of artwork in Illustrator that contains a decent amount of lines and paths, and a lot of layered effects and different blending modes. The file is around 118 mb in size at this moment, and I'm it's slightly above 200x112 cm in size. I've worked in 72 dpi this far to make it possible to work with at all. But not that I'm finished and need to make a print-ready PDF, I want to switch to 300 dpi. This results in my pc working for a very long time until Illustrator finally seems to freeze completely. Last time I tried, I had it running for about an hour until finally getting a message that some object could not be rasterized due to lack of memory. I clicked "OK" and it continued the process, seemingly getting nowhere until I finally gave up and closed the app.I've managed to test-print a small A4 version of the piece at home, but had to check the "print as image" option for the PDF file. Hi i have not been able to find a way to make a group of shapes into a single object i can manipulate. I want to stretch this QR code into a trapezoid shape. I selected all of the layers and used the "unite shape" tool. I then tried to manipulate the shape using the anchor points. It was then i realised the "unite shape" tool didnt work how i thought it would. How can i stretch this shape into a trapezoid?Is there a way make this into a single object?("Flatten Artwork" didnt do anything, i also tried making the layers a "Symbol" but was unable to manipulate it using the anchor points) I am sorry if have missed something obvious. I am new to Illustrator and my Googling and Adobe community searches came up with nothing this time. Thanks 

How do I create a realistic looking heatmap in illustrator? 

I am trying to set some files up for print by ganging them up on one sheet of material. I am working with supplied artwork that has a clipping mask around it. The issue I'm running into is the artwork outside of the clipping mask is giving me this error:"Can't move the objects. The requested transformation would make some objects fall completely off the drawing area."How can I completely delete everything outside of the clipping mask, without altering the artwork inside the clipping mask? I have already tried other suggestions, such as Object>Expand, and then using the Pathfinder to Crop... But that won't work. Nor will the Erase tool.Please help! How this isn't a standard feature by now is beyond me. This isn't the first time I'm running into this issue.

Hello,I am experiencing an issue with Adobe Illustrator when trying to export multiple files in the ESP format. After exporting 2 or 3 files, the program crashes. Is anyone else experiencing this problem, or can anyone offer assistance?

I'm looking to create that white bakground in the shape of the object in front of it.  In the second picture it would be that outline sticker type effect behind BloomCircle.  Hopefully this makes sense to someone.  Thank you in advance!

Basicamente é isso. Hj tive a paciência de fazer vários testes e detectei que há uma imcopatibilidade do illustrator com algum item dessse setup seja a marca do meu monitor ou o switch que eu uso. Estou usando um macbook Air M1 2020 / SWITH UGREEN usando saída VGA / monitor LG 20". A janela só abre corretamente no monitor principal do macbook, no 2º monitor abre sem redimensionamento. Ressetando todas as preferências da janela preferências ela volta a abrir no 2º monitor. Ao reabrir o programa o problema volta. 

I find the new contextual taskbar useful in certain circumstances, but mostly distracting and in the way. So I thought it would be a good idea to assign a custom keyboard shortcut to show/hide the thing. Turns out it is missing from the list of commands in the Keyboard Shortcut editor. Any idea why?  

I use Illustrator and Photoshop alot, but lately I've been having problems with both programs using more and more memory up to the point that I'm almost out of memory.Illustrator: 28.6 Photoshop: 25.11.0PC, Windows 10 ver 10.0 19045, 64Gb ram.This is how much memory they use after a few hours of work. Note that I have no files open in either programs. It's just both programs alone.After I close both programs a lot of my memory is freed up again.  

Hello guys, After I changed my laptop from Windows to Macbook I noticed that it stopped copying from Illustrator as a shape in Word and it converted everything I copied into pictures not just in Word but even PowerPoint which was annoying and decreased my work quality. It is important for me to copy and paste easily in Word, I hope there is a solution. Thank you.

Hi, my illustrator won't download at all, I have 225 SSD and 1tb D drive, I had it downloaded originally and then deleted as it was in the wrong drive. Since this, it will not let me download at all due to the fact it says no space even though I have 500gb spare, and have changed the download path in the creator app multiple times and still not working.

I've scoured the forums on this but have come up dry, at least with an example that mirrors my own frustrations. Link to a post if you find something otherwise. I'll be super explicit in my explanation:I have an Illustrator file of a release form with variables applied—40 different data sets of names, numbers, addresses, etc. The idea is to export the single .ai into 40 different PDFs with each data set for each person that needs to fill out the form. Easy, right?I record a "save a copy" action, set it to PDF, choose a new folder, rename the file, finish the "save a copy", click the stop button. Action done.I select the action and click "batch." It batches the files correctly......but overwrites the PDF every time with a new data set. So I end up with a single PDF that's been overwritten 40 times and, upon the batch's final export, displays the final data set. So I know it's at least batching and pulling data correctly.For anyone who says "no, do save-as instead," I originally did "sav
