Bonjour,depuis le début d'année suite à des mises à jour, illustrator ne veut plus modifier plusieurs liens en même temps comme avant. Il m'oblige à le faire un par un. (Rééditer le lien)Avez-vous le même problème et une solution à m'apporter?Merci à vous

Hi all I have an issue with my illustrator, the contour feature bescially does not make outlines, i had several attemps with adobe support but no of the possibility solution worked, if  I  created rectanle and press ctrl + y it should show outlines right ? in my case ontlines comes out on the screen when i shut down the application.   You are my last hope. 

I use Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 and I'm getting this error for the first time.The file is imported in an After Effects CC 2018 project and it saves it only if I quit AE so I can't update the illustration on the go.Not sure what happened but it's really annoying - I'm not going open and close the project every time I need to update the file.....Is there anyone with a solution? (besides updating to CC 2019)

The original cmyk I wanted to use was #19184A, but when exported as a pdf, it became #1B1849.There is a difference in color; the picture in the upper one is a screenshot of a file open in Adobe Acrobat, and below is an Illustrator file. 

Hi, so I use Adobe Illustrator for work. My latest project is creating a newsletter. The piece I created was 23 pages (or artboards) and is 1.3 GB. Now towards the end of the project, Illustrator keeps crashing, and I receive a message on my Mac reading "Your system has run out of application memory." I now realize my mistake of creating such a large file - My computer has 8 GB of RAM, and when the file was open I was using at least 6GB. However, I have a co-worker who has a computer with 32 GB of Ram, so I transported the file on a flash drive, and I was able to open it on his computer. From there, I separated my 1 file into multiple files (two pages at a time) thinking I could still open each piece individually and continue working. However, after this first occurrence with the larger file, Illustrator still crashes and I receive the same error message. I don't have ANY other applications open, and it still crashes. I understand why the 1.3 GB file was too much to run, but most of th

Trying to get my illustrator prepared for a laser cutter. The laser demands that any cut lines be 100% rgb red and .001.First I placed a text symbol with the text tool then created outlines. Then removed the compound path. Then gave it a 1 pt rgb red stroke. So far...looks good.Then I set the stroke to .001pt as required by the laser cutter. Suddenly I am getting weird light red (not really pink but say 50% opacity red) artifacts along the path. When I send it to the laser cutter, these appear as rasters, not vectors.I have Illustrator 2024 on a Mac, but this also happened on a pc with Illustrator 2022. I recreated the same steps on the laser lab computer and it worked fine, but disappointingly it didn't have the font I really wanted to use.  

When you create a compatible PDF version of an .ai file, my understanding is that the .ai file will open in Acrobat as it embeds pdf capability into the file.   I want to confirm that:1. Illustrator does not create a separate PDF file - Y/N2. If you try to open the .ai file using only Acrobat, it can not do it because it does not read .ai files.  Instead you need to right click "open with" then select Acrobat and it opens - this is what seems to work.3.  What is the process of how this should work between the two programs as it is not clear to me that Illustrator or Acrobat are working correctly on my end.I have researched this online and attempted to contact chat support but not resolved a clear understanding of the process.  I can export the .ai files to PDF but the function of a PDF compatible file and how it works, what you get when you ask for it, and how to open it in Acrobat remains unclear.Thank you for any assisatnce one is able to provide.

Hallo,Ich habe das Problem, dass meine MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8GB) nicht von Adobe Illustrator (Version 28.6) erkannt wird. Was demzufolge dafür sorgt, dass ich ständig in der CPU-Vorschau hantieren muss und es meinen PC ziemlich zum Ruckeln bringt, wenn ich mit mehreren Vektoren zu tun habe.Gibt es eine Möglichkeit meine GPU für Illustrator zu aktivieren oder warum funktioniert das nicht mehr? Bei allen anderen Programmen, wie z.b. Photoshop und InDesign klappt alles wunderbar.Ich hoffe mir kann jemand weiterhelfen - Vielen Dank! 

Hello,I work in fabricated signage. Our unit of measurement is inches and it is baked into our company's pricing and internal language. It is also how our customers talk about their orders and artwork. Points and picas are a no-go.This is why my coworkers and I have been so pleased with the recent addition of the "Font Height Options" in the character panel. I was wondering if there was a way to keep "Cap Height" as the default for all fonts forever, rather than having to constantly go a select it.I create our profiles, actions, swatches, etc for the department but havent found a way to do this. Does anyone know? If it's not possible yet, can this find it's way into an update?Thank you.

Illustrator permet d'ouvrir n'importe quel .pdf (meme  ceux enregistrer depuis indesign) et je ne souhaite pas que mon client ait accès à toutes les formes de mon illustration. Ma question : Comment faire pour exporter une illustration (vers une utilisation indesign) en gardant une très haute qualité mais en empechant l'ouvrir  du fichier final .pdf pour une éventuel retouche "pirate" de mon travail ? L'idée principale étant de protéger mon travail et mon fichier source.J'espère être claire mais n'hésitez pas à en dire le contraire. Vous remerciant pour vos retours, Thomas

When I export a selection, there is no field to enter a filename? It automatically names the file "Asset 1.~"Am I overlooking something?Exporting in general has always allowed me to name exported files without having to navigate to the destination folder and renaming in Finder. Why does Export Selection not allow this?I just need to be able to quickly name my exported object on the fly.

Hello Illustrator-Team, First: Sorry about my terrible English. I am doing Charts in Illustrator every day. It works perfect, except "Stacked Columns" with positive AND negative Numbers.Since the first Illustrator, i can't use "Stacked Columns" automatically, except all Numbers are positive or nagative.Till the 90ies, I have to change the negative Numbers in positive, and then move every negative Area with hand to the correct position.😄 Please make the "Stacked Columns"-Chart-Tool ready for 2024 ... not for the 90s 😄Thank you VERY much,GerhardPS.: for me, there are a few things more to make charts easier, but the "mixed Numbers"-Problem will me my first problem.

Compre y pague para tener Ilustrator por 1 mes, sin embargo al intenar descargarlo me da el siguiente mensaje:"Lo sentimos, pero Illustrator no podrá ejecutarse en tu sistema operativo. Para poder continuar, deberás actualizar." No entiendo a que se refiere con actualizar. Mi sistema operativo? Mi plan? Si es este último entonces me esta cobrando más por un plan que no es de mi interés. Es confuso, si ya pague por el programa por que no lo puedo descargar.

Hey. I have an issue that I never had before I upgraded from a 2019 illustrator. Now I have the latest update and whenever I rasterize an image and save it the image is invisible. I have to create the file with illustrator because theres a spot color that needs to be on a layer so my plotter can cut the file. I rasterize it so my file is 10 times smaller than with layers. I am saving it in pdf so I can see the actual image without opening the file. If I save it as eps then everything shows up and it works but all i can see in windows is an eps icon and being a print shop owner I have a ton of files which is a lot easyer to browse thru if I can also see the image alongside with the file name.  it worked before. I havent changed any settings when saving the pdf. I did try different compatibility settings but doesn't change the outcome. I tried different presets when saving. Doesn't help. I have tried to open it on a different computer. Same thing happens. Image is white in adobe acr

Hallo zusammen,ich habe in Illustrator eine Figur erstellt, bei der sich die Arme überlappen. Um Probleme mit den Überlappungen zu vermeiden, habe ich den Pathfinder benutzt, um die Bereiche auszuschneiden. Allerdings stelle ich immer wieder fest, dass dadurch unschöne Kanten entstehen und frage mich, ob das wirklich der beste Workflow ist. Die Figur soll am Ende auf eine Folie gedruckt und auf den Boden geklebt werden (Format A0). Ich zeichne die Figur vorab als Skizze entweder auf Papier oder ClipStudioPaint. Damit es saubere Konturen hat und skalierbar bleibt, entwickle ich es im Illustrator weiter. Ich weiss, dass ich es auch in ClipStudio Paint skalierbar machen kann, in dem ich die Konturen in der Vektorebene erstelle - aber niemand will meine krakeligen Linien auf A0 betrachten. Zudem wurde die Originalfigur auch in Illustrator von einem Vorgänger entwickelt.  Besonders die Hände bereiten mir in Illustrator grosse Schwierigkeiten. Ich bin unsicher, wie ich diese a

How to disable recovery mode on illustrator without opening the program. My illustrator doesn't launch due to ram issue trying to recovery files

Hi all. I have been struggling the last few times to export my pdf's from Illustrator to an email size. I need my files to be below 10 MB and it's just not exporting to that size. I have ensured the following is done:1.  Outlines of text is created2. Rasterized my images. I even rasterized the whole document down to 72 ppi. 3. Ensure all my images are linked and not embedded.4. The document is compressed to 72 ppi when saved to PDF. 5. I even changed my document preferences to 72 ppi.  One day it is easy, the next day it's a struggle. What am I doing wrong? 

Update to the latest version download illustrator stops at 88%. Any suggestions how to fix this?

Hola, buenas tardesA ver si alguien me puede ayudar. Actualmente trabajo con archivos csv los cuales los abro en Ilustrator.El problema lo tengo cuando dicho archivo csv , compuesto por ejemplo por 223 nombres de personas.Dichos nombres los cambio de tipo de letra y tamaño de letra, lo cual hace que todos los nombres no me quepan en un archivo A4.Necesitaría una extensión o script la cual me volcara todos los nombres en plantillas de A4, donde entre nombre y nombre tuviera 5 mm , y los organizara en cada documento A4.Alquien me puede decir cómo es posible obtener este tipo de aplicación?Gracias

I made a few templates for logos, there is a text that changes and ther are a lot of logos to be made. So I hired a freelancer, but when she returns the logo's, the SVG preview is smaller the ones I made. When openend in Illustrator there seems to be no problem, but for Office apps you can see the differences when placed in for example a Word document.

Can I use Adobe Illustrator 2015 version in the subscription of 2024?

hi, i've a problem with expanded straight lines series. When generated my fusion of straight lines and I try to shape it with the eraser, the straight direction is lost. A distortion of the line occurs in a casual way. I tried different Illustrator versions on different PC with the same result. How can i fix?Many thanks in advance

So I'm setting up artwork for t-shirt separations. I have to use absolute CMYK values to print the separartions accurately, i.e. 100% Black, 50% Yellow, 25% Cyan to match the halftones and color combinations I need to make out spot ink colors.The issue I'm having is converting an object to my CMYK tones. It is a complex object, made with several layers and a gradient mesh. I set one color to 100% Cyan, and it changes to 69% Cyan and 14% Yellow the next time I check it. From 100%Magenta and 100% Black, it goes to 57, 75, 68, 82.I am using the "Recolor Artwork" tool.I have changed my Document Set Up to CMYK and have tried copying it into a completely new document already set to CMYK. Typing in the values or selecting them from the swatches has no effect.

Hi There,I'm on one of my 3 artboards—in Mac OS—and when I do a simple select > Cmd+C > C+P , the thing pastes into every artboard.Can anyone tell me how I can stop this happening?Thanks folks,John
