Hello,  for the past few weeks I have had an image alignment issue when reopening ai document Every ai file I open, the images (embedded) have all moved up and to the left. I don't know what is happening and if there is a fix, but it is in every file I open(see screen shots). The thumbnails are correct before opening, but just the ai file is doing this.  I have tried opening the files using the latest Ai, Ai Beta, on my work computer using my work adobe account, as well as my home studio computer using my personal adobe account.   Both are mac version (2024 macbook pro 16") & (2023 Mac Studio). Has this happened to anyone else? Any help would be amazing, as it is so annoying and time consuming to have to realign every image everytime I work on a file.

My files look perfect in Illustrator and when opened as PDFs in Acrobat — but once they’re printed in magazines, the colors come out dull and darker.I’ve been trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong, and I’d really appreciate any insight. I can't for the life of me figure out how to stop these insanely annoying popup 'tips' every time i select a tool i haven't used in a while. There seems to be a different way to turn these off for each product, turning some options off doesn't always work and its really starting to bug the hell out of me. In illustrator for example I've unchecked the tool tips option in preferences, but I still get these massive intrusive buggers that disrupt my workflow!I 've been using Adobe software for over a decade and i really don't need to be told how to use the crop tool.Is there a way, hacky or not, to remove all of these at once for all products??

I've noticed recently on Adobe Illustrator that I'm not able to resize an object or text box as freely as I used to. Before, I could use the Selection Tool (V) to click on the object, line up my cursor with the corner, then Shift + drag to the size I want. Now it seems like I can't resize that way anymore. I've looked around the Help articles but I'm not sure how to work around this change. I know that I can type in exact dimensions but that's not always necessary or convenient. Any help from the community would be appreciated!

Dear Adobe Illustrator Support Team,Over the past one to two weeks, I’ve started experiencing a recurring issue in Adobe Illustrator. When I reopen a saved file, the layout appears completely distorted elements are scattered across the artboard. In some cases, text boxes are separated from the text itself, appearing in entirely different positions.At first, I encountered this issue with only one file, and I assumed it might have become corrupted during the saving process. However, just yesterday I created a completely new document and a new artboard, saved it, closed Illustrator, and upon reopening it today, the same problem occurred again all elements were displaced.I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling Illustrator, hoping that would resolve the issue, but unfortunately, it persisted. The new file I created yesterday was also scattered upon reopening.Please investigate this issue and suggest a possible solution, as it is becoming extremely frustrating to work like this. Reorganiz

Hi all, i was working last night and illustrator decided to crash, and i had not saved in quite awhile (im on mac tahoe 26.0 and illustrator 29.2.1). when i reopen, i get the recovery pop-up, but i have no idea how to access/find these files. Tutorials online say to find the .aid file in illustrator recover data in finder, and to just open that in illustrator, but that is not physcially possible. I tried copying the recovery file, and giving it an .ai file extension instead, but that wont open in illustrator either. any tips please? when i reopen the normal file (not recovered file) it just loads to my last save. I have not saved the file since adobe crashed and i lost my progress.

Same old, same old. I'm new to illustrator, but seem to be having the usual problems with clipping masks. I just want to crop one corner of an image so it is curved. It feels like this should not be so ridiculously hard, and I honestly don't understand why programmes only allow square crops of images. Anyway:- I have uploaded my image- I have drawn the shape I want for a clipping mask (rectangle with one corner curved)- I have positioned that shape over my image At that point, I was getting the error message 'can't create mask, more than one object must be selected'.I looked through this community and found that I had not made my mask shape a compound path.I corrected this. Now, I just get the error 'can't make clipping mask'. I just don't see what I am doing wrong- the image is below the shape, both are selected, the shape is a compound path.Please please can anyone help?  

Photoshop Print colour management with Icc profile after each print reverts to Printer Manages. How to retain with profile please.?

Is anyone else having this problem? The text to vector option is not listed in Properties, and I can't find it in the contextual menu either. Additionally, the object/pattern/generate pattern function is also missing.Laptop is MacBook Air M1, Adobe CC plan.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, but that didn’t help.I would appreciate any assistance!

I'm using the latest version of Illustrator (29.7.1 64 bit) with Windows 11 and the Text to Vector option is not appearing as an option under Window. I am based in Dublin, Ireland.

I have 500+ files with the same swatches and I need to edit the values of one specific swatch across all of them. The swatch is saved as the values (C=40 M=65 Y=70 K=0), no name. These are basically all Save As, so settings and such across files are pretty much the same, FWIW.I'm looking for a way to record an automation for this that I can then batch action across the whole folder.I've tried a few variations of creating a new swatch an then alt+dragging but the automation doesn't overwrite the values on the old swatch, so maybe I end up with two swatches, but the image doesn't change.Help!Gearing up to change these files manually but yikes.

Every now and then, the window icons (close, minimize, maximize) in the top left of my illustrator disappear all of a sudden:When I hide all palettes using the tab key, the buttons appear a bit further down:I still need to figure out the steps to reproduce this problem. It might have to do with me using an external ultra-wide monitor, but it could still be happening on the internal macbook screen only as well.Nonetheless, it's very annoying.

I was working on a project and when I loaded it up today all of the content was still there but I couldn't see it. I've looked for an answer online but couldnt find a solution. I then attempted to restart the project in a new file but then the issue has happened again where all the content has dissapeared and turned white. The content still shows on the preview of the project so I'm hoping theres a solution to getting my work back. I have attached images that show my artboards and the preview. I hope somebody can help, thanks.  

Has anyone else been experiencing that illustrator crashes when using style sheets? i had to install an older version to be able to work. Seems like Adobe knows about this but has not sent out a fix??

Ao exportar o arquivo hoje, reparei que a imagem sobreposta: MARCAÇÃO DE CORTE, está ficando como se tivesse com transparência, mas já verifiquei e não tem transparência, não tem filtro, não tem efeito e nem owerley ativado. Ontem exportei este mesmo arquivo e cor estava perfeita.Alguém mais está tendo ou teve este problema?Alguma dica de como resolver?

For some months we have been experiencing very slow load times for Illustrator and Photoshop. It takes upto 10 mins to launch each software which is very frustrating. Happens on both office macs. We update the software regularly. (I also run an older mac at home but this loads in seconds). Any suggestions woud be appreciated as we have tried all settings and nothing improves. We have fast internet so connection isn't an issue. 

Toda vez que eu instalo uma fonte nova, seja pelo creative cloud ou manualmente, o Illustrator não reconhece essa fonte e eu preciso fechar ele e abrir de novo. Acontece SEMPRE. Alguém já passou por isso e sabe como resolver? 

Im thinking of swapping from Autodesk Graphic to Illustrator for drawing floor plans as it allow me to export in CAD, the only problem is that i can seem to set a scale up, ie 1:20 for the page setup - Is this possible?Thanks

I'm on Illustrator 25.2.3. This tool is missing. I can't find it anywhere, even when I go to rebuild my toolbar and click advanced - there's no option for this tool. Seems to have disappeared completely.  (Yes, I already looked under the free transform tool.) This update is super buggy on Mac Big Sur 11.2.3. 

The option to share for review in Illustrator has an issue that I haven't been able to resolve.We work with a master file that serves as a customizable clothing template. For each client, we create a copy of this master file, design it, and generate a link to share with the specific client for that project. However, the master file is retaining the comments from the copies that have been generated, even though these files have been duplicated, modified, and have different names; the copies are also saved in different folders.here's the master file when we click the share option, it has the name of the previous copy we made, it also contains the users it was shared within adition to this, it is also showing the coments that were made in the copied file:this is the real file were the coments were made:  thank you in advance 

I have created a multiple paged illustrator file, nothing to complex, mostly text & images. However, when I save it and close the file, when opening the next day all my text and images have moved onto to different pages or off the artboards and I have to re-do the pages again. Any ideas?  

For some time now, when I open Illustrator, certain objects change colour.The peculiar thing is that this only happens with two specific colours that I use for a client, and the “conversion” is always from blue to yellow, never the other way around. Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

I've just Updated to V29.6.1 this morning and now my illustrator just gets stuck on the create artboard window followed by not responding. I'm running it on windows 10 pro 64 bit op system. I've tried restarting the programme and restarting my computer but without success. Not had this issue before. FYI I sadly can't run as admin as it's a work pc and i don't have access to admin log in.   <Title renamed by MOD>
