Is there a way to set the newly drawn item to be layered behind the previously drawn one, like the desktop version?

When i save the PNG file in my tab it's image quality get very low.Plz let me know is there anything wrong i m doing. It will be very helpful if u can provide me any cheat of exporting file in Ipad. 

I am doing my very first attempts at vectorizing a small bitmap of a bird.I have created the outline if the whole bird - all white. Here is part of the wing from the bitmap: On my outline the wingtip is white. How can I change this without drawing the wingtip again in a new layer on top of the body outline?alternativeli, is there a way to cut what is to the left of the red marks below and put it in a new layer? If yes. Is there a way I can copy the line between white and black (marked with red - - - -) and use it on both the white and the black layer?Thanks a lot for reading this.Stein     

Hi I just got my first iPad(iPad Pro), and something is noticeably wrong with the Adobe Illustrator. I tried the other apps, and other adobe apps to see if it was my iPad messing up but it is only adobe illustrator. Problem: Whenever I go to click on the color pallet or the pen/paint tool, it will disappear before I can click anything or change anything. I tried using my pen and my finger and nothing changes. Where can I get help for this?

Not sure how to fix but I have lost hours of work several times now. It seems that if you export at all it subsequently disables the automatic saving....additionally it will not allow a second export!!! which means i can see a file that i cannot save or export. all i get is a message that says cannot export.  wifi is working fine, i can share files from any other app.if i press back i lose all of my work.nothing changes if i turn my ipad on or off.nothing seems weird the program runs fine and acts as if everything is fine. i've chatted with technical support and they dont have any solutions.  ..................just savage, please help. someone. 😞

Trying to use the Illustraor APP on my iPad and need to export files with bleed settings. There are no options - just file format options. Seems pretty simple - but I'm pulling my hair out with some simple things this app is missing the mark at... please help 🙂  

Hi there. I am trying to trace/sketch a drawing to turn it into a vector. However, my pen and pencil will not get small enough to create the THIN line I need. I am using my iPad, but not an Apple Pencil, just a stylus.

I have Version 1.2.1 with the invite to edit feature now where the undo button used to be. Is this a bug? Did it move somewhere? I've tried looking for it, tried finding other shortcuts, and can't seem to find a solution. 

When I have more than ten shapes selected, such as simple circles, and go to Properties > Fill, the "Gradient" option no longer appears, only "Solid Color." Is this a bug?   Actually, it looks like the word "Gradient" appears for a split second and then disappears.

Hi, when importing an illustration from ipad (.aic) to Illustrator on desktop, it changes the color code...so much that you can tell the difference!!E.g. I had a blue background with code #75BFCE and when importing it comes with #59B7DA.Document is on CMYC mode.Did this happen to you? Any fix?Many thanks!

Hi, I have a problem with Illustartor when importing ai files from iPad to desktop. I have a project done mostly on iPad, but when I open the same ai file on desktop, the colors change visibly. What could cause this? Is the color profile wrong on desktop? Which should it be, so it matches the colors on Illustrator on the iPad? Anyone else having the same problem?

I am following a youtube example but the example is using Adobe Illustrator on the Mac computer and I am trying to follow along on my ipad.  I am able, so far, to figure out the differences.  However, I want to save what I have as a symbol and then use that symbol.  I don't see a way to create or use symbols on the ipad.  Can anyone help? Thank you, John

Is adobe illustrator  is compatible  to any version  of iPad?

Is there a way to create outlines for text in the app? It's super easy on the desktop version but I'm not having any luck doing so in the app.

I just bought the iPad pro just because of the app illustrator which is great thing to have in my iPad. But I found that I can't type in Arabic or Hebrew in the (iPad app) version. That was a disappointment to me. My question is, is Arabic language will be included with the next software developing?? Hopefully it is. Thanks.    

Can someone help please. It seems to me that once you deselect an object that has been filled with a spot colour you can no longer see what colour has been used for that object when you re-select it. Nothing is highlighted in the swatch panel and nothing seems to tell me the specific colour in the properties panel. When it is taken into Illustrator on the desktop it still is a spot colour. Can I see this information anywhere, am I missing something?     {Renamed by MOD}

I want to use the repeat tool to quickly get a bunch of shapes that I could then use the Shape Builder Tool to make anew shape. However it seems you can use that tool on a repeated object. So how can I apply the repeat to just make them individual objects? (On iPad)

My Adobe illustator app is upto date on my ipad pro, but when i try to open the app on my ipad, it keeps crashing every time it starts and crashes. I looked up the. crash data on my ipad. the file extension is an .ipsfile and the attachment below does not accept a file with that extension. Let me know how to upload the file.

Is this possible? I have a colour group of 20 swatches saved as a user defined Library on my imac and I want to be able to open it in illustrator on the ipad. I can't work out how to save the colour group to my creative cloud or export and open it on the ipad. Help please!
