para cuando indesign con corrector de texto IA??? el corrector da por bueno "rio" cuando quiere decir "río", de momento utilizo Quillbot, pero es tedioso ir pegando fragmentos de texto, porque no tengo versión premium...con tanta ia incorporada en apps de imagen,por que no una ia para texto, es imprescindible, seria una gran ayuda

The first one is:Empty cells must be placeholder to generate numbering, is there a way to save time, such as not using placeholder.I am using very fine space ( ~|) for placeholder.The second is:A text box with multiple tables, how to set up, so that each table is numbered from 1.Instead of continuing the numbering from the previous one.It would be possible to do this by building a separate paragraph style for each one, but that's not practical.  Thank you very much.

It's so surprising to suddenly realize that ID2025 has an extra MathML.But it seems like everything is just starting, maybe later on some common formulas can be used directly with templates.Are there any learning websites or template resources?Thank you very much.

PDF파일이 보이지 않고 열리지 않아요? 베타버전에서는  가능하다.? 

I'm exporting an image with text on it (100 pt Fino Sans and 20 pt Quicksand). When I export a png or jpeg file, the text is fuzzy at 72 ppi & 96 ppi export settings. It looks better at 300 ppi export setting, but I need this file to be under 1MB; it will be attached to emails for viewing on-screen (not printing). The image looks fine at any resolution. I have anti-alias checked. When I export a pdf, the text is sharp, but the image is pixelated. The resolution of the image is higher than the resolution of the document, so while this is not my main issue (I don't need this to be a pdf), it is perplexing. I need this file ultimately to be a jpeg or png. The only workaround I've found is to screenshot it, but since I need to make a number of these, that's not ideal. Any ideas on what could be going wrong? Thx

OK. I'm still on v 20.0 - and Windows 10:   But I don't remember anyone mentioning this problem? Only that "constrain proportions" resets.     I can select rotation point and manually enter the rotation angle - and it works fine.    But this point is ignored if I try to rotate using mouse?    Before - top-left point selected as "active":     And during the operation - it switches to "center point":     Has this been fixed in the latest update(s)?  

Hi I have installed InDesign on my computer. When I try to open it, it flashes on my screen as if it is trying to open but then closes. I've tried multiple times over many weeks, including restarting the computer, unplugging and replugging the computer etc. I've liaised with both Adobe and Windows support and they haven't been able to solve it so I thought I'd check in here where there is so much real life experience too. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad laptop, running Windows 10. I have heaps of C drive space on this computer, it's relatively new and I've deleted all unnecessary content, apps and temporary files from the computer. Instead of using My documents on my computer, I use an external hard drive. I hope you can help! 

Hello, I don't know if anyone can help me but when I'm trying to export my InDesign documents as interactive PDF files the application crashes and force closes itself. I am currently using a macOS Sequia version 15.3.

In InDesign, I have an image constructed from other images. When I exported the file, some image layers are missing. 

I'm using InDesign 2017.1 release on a Win7 pro machine. I'm having an issue where the text won't fill the frame (column).  In some paragraphs in the document, the text goes appropriately to the edge of the frame. In other paragraphs, it doesn't. Some things I've looked at:Checking in story editor - didn't find any odditiesIt doesn't seem to be a text wrap or graphic issue (removing a frame doesn't change how the text displays).I did also investigate ignoring text wrap.Is not obviously a paragraph style issue; all of them have 0 as the right and last margins.I'll attach a small example. In it, at the highlighted red area, you can see that both of the paragraphs under 2 have plenty of space for additional text to the right margin. I have to pull the frame far, far out to the right to get the text to move; other text moves as it should. The doc of course really needs the text to go to the right margin, not much space to spare.Much appreciate your suggestions for what to look for.!

Hello everyone!Apologies if this has already been asked before, but I have a challenge that has got me hitting a wall:I have been provided a ton of indesign files (hundereds), each with different layers consisting of different designs. Example Layers: 'Poster Design 1' 'Poster Design 2' 'Poster Design 3' ect ect. I have also been provided a csv to pair with each indesign file, with lots of different shops + different data merge variables, with a column containing a number based on which design they would like to use.I understand I could split the data and manually sort this out, however I have so many different files to use, that this could take me weeks.Is there a script that would handle this? a switch of somesort?design === 1 ?  layer 1 visible true : layer 1 visible false(apologies for my terrible understanding of javascript)Thanks in advance, I imagine this is a big ask, so feel free to deal me the 'gonna have to do it manually' blow.AC

SSIA!  I have hundreds of PDFs that need to be updated with a new logo (which is located in different locations on the page) and I'm wondering if there is a way to automate this. I saw some discussion about using the Watermark feature but not sure if this will work or if this is the intended use.  These PDFs are primarly used on the web and not printed. 

InDesign Menu:File - Open Recent - opens wrong file.App restart doesn't fix.

Greetings!  I have a situation where I can see the thumbnail of an InDesign file in my startup workspace, but when I open the file there are only a few placeholders.  The .jpgs, .pngs, and text are all missing, but the empty frames are there.  The status bar shows no errors.  The file opened and "behaved" fine the past few days, but today it is not.Thanx,Jay

I have an InDesign file that has many master pages. Some of them have to get moved to another InDesign doc. The master pages have many parapgrah, character and object styles. Right now when I move a page, the styles don't move with it. Is there a way to get the styles to move with the pages or do I have to manually load them from the orignal  and assign them?

InDesign 20.xx, PC.I am producing a descent size index. Just a few entries have sub entries. I want the Levels to indent from the left and the numbers to align from the right hand frame edge.

I am laying out a technical manual and need to have the page numbers styled as  "Page 1 of 299"  Each chapter is it's own document and I have them in a book.  Book panel shows pages fine, but when I print the page numbers are inaccurate only showing the number of pages in that section.   Example: Section one has 14 pages  and the next starts at 15 as it should.  However the number of pages just won't  go.  Example:  Chapter 1  Page 1 of 14,  Chapter 2:  Page 15 of 15 etc.  I want it to be  Page 1 of 27, Page 15 of 27.  In each document I used the "Last Page Number" but it is only counting for that one chapter.   How can I make it when I print to have this correct.   I can't hard code the number of pages because it is a living document.  Can some one help please?   Book panel is correctLast page of Chapter 2First page on Chapter 3   

HiI wrote a script that finds all table headers and collects the page numbers they are on. Then I check the page number of the next paragraph (table) to see if the table spans more than one page. And everything works fine until there is no footnote reference at the end of the paragraph with the table header - then the next paragraph is the first paragraph of the thread. She's having issues scaling text within a text box using the cmd + shift shortcut. It resizes the text box, but the text stays the same size. Any suggestions?Cheers
