Hello, the “Adjust overall exposure” feature for multiple selected photos in the Develop-Module is suddenly grayed out / unavailable when I select “Right-click > Develop settings > Adjust overall exposure”.When I set “Auto-Synchronization” to ON, the grayed-out status disappears and the function becomes available again. I only have this problem in the Develop-Module - and only when using “Right-click > Develop settings > Adjust overall exposure".All other options work (without “Auto-Synchronization”):- In the Develop-Module, “Settings > Adjust overall exposure” works.- In the Library-Module, “Photo > Development Settings > Adjust overall exposure” works.- “Ctrl + Alt + Shift + M” in the Develop-Module works.- “Ctrl + Alt + Shift + M” in the Library-Module works. As I mentioned, only in the Develop-Module the “Adjust overall exposure” function suddenly is grayed out / unavailable under “Right-click > Develop Settings” and only works after enabling Auto Sync. I am having trouble accessing about five years worth of digital catalog photographs through Adobe Lightroom. My problem started I think when either my macOS system software updated or adobe Lightroom updated its software. Originally, I couldn’t find these photos anywhere on my hard drive so I had to retrieve them through Time Machine on my Mac. Once I located these catalogues I copied them over from Time Machine. I am unable to open them through Lightroom. I keep getting this warning. Can you help me with the ability to open my Lightroom photo catalogs again? And what does it mean when the LrC warning says “does not allow files to be created within it.”?
I am creating a book in Lightroom but the format is only US (20*25 cm).Is there a way to put it on A4 (21*29.7 cm) ?
When I press the denoise box, it doesn't do anything. It ticks for a split second and then doesn't do anything. How can I fix this?
Since a few weeks, my Lightroom Classic (15.3.1 release on macOS Tahoe 26.5.1) gets stuck or stops responding on simple tasks like:Building standard or 1:1 previews (it gets stuck on ‘Building previews: 3 of …’ but never actually creates one preview) Photo Merge (HDR, Panorama or HDR-Panorama, here the cursor immediately starts spinning and the merge preview does not even pop up) Importing (I can select a source (for example an SD card) but it gets stuck on Checking for duplicates, even when I turn off 'Don't import suspected duplicates’) Exporting (in export I can select all the settings and hit Export but the progress bar remains stuck at zero.I have to use Force Quit to quit Lightroom when it’s not responding. This happens 9 out of 10 times I open up Lightroom, the occasional 1 time everything works fine and I can go on for hours merging huge panoramas or building previews of 100s of photos without problems. But whenever I close and reopen Lightroom the next time it doesn’t work anym
Hi - I have run into an issue this morning where Lightroom is reapplying a preset to images I have edited in Photoshop and have saved back into Lightroom. Usually I apply a preset to my images automatically when I import them and have no issue for any that I have to edit additionally in Photoshop, but today Lightroom has decided to add this preset on top of images that already have it applied, which is resulting in slightly off-looking images. Has anyone else run into this problem? I’ve spoken to my colleague with much more experience than me and he says he’s never seen this happen before. Thanks for any advice you can give. If it helps I’m using a Mac and running Lightroom Classic 15.3.1
I have tried to change setting in the LR Preferences Tabs, Changed GPU for visualization only. Disactivated facial recognition, AMD GPU drivers are all updated, Changed file paging settings. After all these changes noted only slight improvement and erratic unstable behavior This is my system configuration : AMD Ryzen 7 260 w/ Radeon 780M Graphics (3.80 GHz) 32,0 GB (31,3 GB utilizzabile) Catalog on Internal SSD 215 GB available Camera Raw Cache 100 gb Windows 11 Pro 25H2 Build:26200.8655
I keep having trouble when starting Lightroom Classic. It hangs withg the spinning circle and I have to Force Quit. I can usually get it going, eventually, by going through the routine of Shift+Option start to reset preferences. If that does not work I do an Option restart and check the box to check catalogue integrity (which can take some time). If these fail then I reboot the Mac, and sometimes have to repeat the above before LR will open properly. This is on a New MacBook Pro with M5 chip, 32GB Memory and 4TB SSD running Tahoe 26.4.1. It was happening before upgrading to this version of MacOS. LR is on version 15.3.1 (LR Classic)Does anyone know how to stop this happening almost all the time? Hopefully, Richard

I moved my LR Catalogue from desktop to hard drive then copied it to laptop. The collections did not load. How can I get them back?
I do not find my two external hard drives any more in the folder besides the internal hard drive in Lightroom 3.6 although I did not change anything. Or is it correct that the external hard drives appear here in the subfolder in the internal hard drive named Macintosh HD?
My current workflow could definitely be more efficient and not run into storage problems copy memory card photos to an external harddrive import to Lightroom, cull and edit but the main issue is my MacBook storage which runs out all the time this way and have to upload photos in small batches. Do people generally edit from their external SSD? I have 2TB here rather than the 256gb.sorry for the beginner question!
I am an editor for another photographer who sent me an LrC catalog with Smart Previews. An important detail: he uses MacOS and I use Windows 10. He has recreated the catalog multiple times, but the same error keeps happening: an exclamation mark appears on the image with the message 'Lightroom has encountered problems reading this photo'. I've already moved the files from my C:// SSD to another SSD, but the issue persists. I am running the latest version of the software.
So, when I import my photographs from my external hard drive I usually just move them, not add. So I don't know if this takes them off my external hard drive, usually it does not seem to. I had a glitch today in Lightroom classic while importing and so decided to start over again with my oresets. When I did, I removed the files from the recently added folder in LRC, when I went back to to my T7 they were gone. I know that when I deleted them from folder I did not choose to delete from disk as well, made sure not to smoke 1600 pictures lo. I do have Backblaze but I don't know if they were there long enough to backup. Any help appreciated! Thank ya
My images do not appear in ‘Develop’ tab when I select from the library. How do I fix this?
My web host has a neat feature that allows me to download the metadata into a CSV format of a gallery that includes: FilenameTitleDescriptionAlt TagKeywordsand one other field they use that ties into the system you do not change You can then easily modify all the medata in the spreadsheet, when done you do a simple upload and all meta date for the images you modified will get the metadata updates. This is very fast and easy to makes sure all the metadata is exactly as you want in a batch fashion. I cannot find any option in LRC that would allow me to select the same metadata fields from this CSV file to do a batch import as well. It is very painful and a waste of bandwith/time to have to update each image one at a time in LRC, export all the changed images, the re-upload to the host. I clearly want all my metadata to match in LRC and my host. Am I missing where this is? Can anyone help me get this working?
Performance has significantly degraded after the recent update. Lightroom CC is now frequently freezing and crashing, with HDR merge being especially unstable and slow. This is occurring on a high-end system (Ryzen 5900X, 64 GB RAM), so the issue does not appear to be hardware-related. The bottleneck seems to be within the HDR merge pipeline and overall memory management.Key issues:HDR merge often causes full application freeze or crash Noticeable performance regression compared to previous versions UI becomes unresponsive during batch processing Resource usage spikes without proportional performance gainPlease prioritize optimization and stability improvements, particularly for HDR processing and batch workflows, as this significantly impacts professional use cases.
[Lightroom mobile]Until now I could delete everything in "imports"/"your edits", but now suddenly nothing happens when I delete photos, and I can't delete files in the trash either. Why?When I deleted all the app data, the old files deleted themselves, and one day it was possible to delete normally, but now it doesn't work again. And can't delete creative cloud files.Where is the mistake?
What’s the best next step ?I have finished editing my images. I have a few images in the film strip that I don’t want / need. After editing I suppose I can delete them, or maybe simply just close out LrC. What would you do? Thank you.
When I chose several images in Lightroom Classic I can not open as layers in Photoshop
No puedo acceder a la página de adobe.com, fallo en los navegadores y he probado varios, pero con mi sistema operativo Mac Higt Sierra no puedo instalar los más recientes
