My masks are not working right. It won't detect people or background. Then it locks up on me so much so I have to do a hard reset. I have turned syncing off, cleared the cache, optimized the catalog, and tried to give LR more memory. Not sure what else to do. Has anyone here ever run into this issue. If so, is there another fix aside from reinstalling Ps 2024
Looking for a solution to be able to open and work using Lightroom Classic after Ventura 13.7 update. (9/22/2024) is today's date). Working on an iMac Retina 4K, 21.5in, 2017 I've read thruough these forums and tried many of the recommedantions to no avail. I've given full disk access, I've used the creative cloud cleaner tool, reinstall all apps and more. And the same result. Lightroom Classic will not open. Any help? Thanks in advance, Shawn(p.s. from reading these forums it seems like this has been an issue in the past for many other updates of Ventura - we customers lose many hours days and even weeks of work unable to access our paid subscriptions. I'm sure Adobe works dilgently with Apple to minimize these risks, hopefully they can find solutions to avoid these crash issues next update.)
Hello, My LRC catalog have many remaining unsynchronized photos (here 2375, see screen copy included here). I do not know which are theses photos. Is a possibility to know these photos and understand why they're pending so long? I use Lihtroom classic (LRC) Version 13.5.1 on a windows 10 and windows 11 PC. And th Lightroom on line I use is Version 7.5 Thank You for help
As part of my photo editing workflow I use Lightroom Classic (win 11 environment) and third party applications (e.g. Topaz and DxO) throug "Photo>Edit in". Now suddenly the plug-ins stopped working and Lightroom Classic freezes totally and can be closed only by killing the process in Task Manager. Same effect appears also when trying to use Lightroom Classic Denoise (AI). I have tried to solve the problem with Topaz Labs service Center with no luck so far. What has been tried so far:1) Lightroom uninstall/reinstall.2) GPU driver update to latest possible 3) Uninstall/reinstall third party applications (including plugins)The third party applications work perfectly stand alone, but this way my own workflow is broken and very frustrating.Does anyone have a solution to my problem?Ritva
When I use my laptop for editing photos, I do what I normally do and select the photos to import, it has the box along the top left hand side saying its importing photos, but after a few seconds the box disappears and no photos have been imported.I cant try to reimport any photos because the import button is greyed out. to try again I have to shut lightroom down and reopen the program.I have uninstalled lightroom, and tried again with the same result. My lightroom is up to date. I was using it perfectly fine a few days ago, and it is still working fine on my desktop computer.
I have a huge catalogue of over 300K images, in multiple folders and collections. Sometimes I am browsing a certain folder or collection and work on an image, but then I move to some other folder or collection and that selection is lost. Currently I don't know any ways to retrace the steps and get back to the previous folder/ previously selected image in the Library. The "navigate" feature showing left/right arrow in the bottom strip on the Library Grid view doesn't work between folders. Is there any way at all to retrace at least 5-10 steps back in your library browsing history, to find the image that was selected in the previous step? If not, I think that should definitely be a feature!Thank you.
Hi! I just upgraded to Lightroom Classic 10 (for Mac OS) and suddently Lightroom adjustments aren't applyed when sending a file to Photoshop using "edit in Photoshop". Specifically, the profile I've applied in Lightroom is removed and replaced with the regular Adobe color profile. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a solution? I'm on Mac OS 10.15.7.
Hi. Hope someone can give me an assist. LR Classic wont boot or open. System says its open but the program itself does not show up or display its usual boot up process. I was able to boot up PS and PS Beta. But LR Classic wont show up. I was able to uninstall and reinstall and even uninstall and reinstall to an older version. Still not booting up. It was working this past week. I've restarted the computer and even made sure nothing is on while it boots up. But sadly no change. Ive checked GPU performance analysis and it says LR Classic is open but no activity. Hope anyone can provide insight.
in LR Classic should take how long for about 100 images? They are RAW files, 25Mb in size each (ish) off a Nikon d750.The "generating url" header just keeps the circle spinning for ages!
I am looking for someone who can update some of my Canon 5d3 VSCO camera profiles to work in Camera Raw with a Canon R6. My presets dont show up anymore because they arent compatible. When I try to copy the presets onto a image the Camera Profile shows a yellow excalmation mark next to it stating that it couldnt be found. So I am thinking if I have new camera profiles for these presets it should work like usual. I have been scrambling the internet for an answer on this. I am at the point of being willing to pay someone to do this for me if they know how.
I just spent 2 hours with an online support person in a chat window who had full control of my computer but wouldn't listen. I kept telling him and demonstrating that LR was telling me a brand new file has already been downloaded. They guy said I have a file with that name already, so that's why it's greyed out.I just found out as I tried to explain to him on an Adobe web page, that the duplicate file name doesn't matter it the capture date is different, or if the photo was taken with a different camera. From Adobe: Lightroom Classic determines a photo is a duplicate of another file in the catalog if it has the same, original filename; the same Exif capture date and time; and the same file size. You can instruct Lightroom Classic to disregard duplicate files when importing. Is anyone else having trouble with downloading new files off of a camera? Different dates, different catalog items, at least that's how it's always worked in the past.
Lightroom Classic in the cloud is very slow, I think due to uploading pictures. My question, is it possible to have the synchronisation temp not working? Thanks
I was consolidating files onto one hard drive and didn't realize Windows would add a date stamp into the file name, so file names went from Image 001 to image 001 (2016_04_18 16_58_52 UTC).CR2, also have the XMP from Lightroom 5.7 and jpeg. As a result, Lightroom can not find the files. I can point to each one individually, or go back into Windows and change the file name back, but I have 13,000 images which means about 40,000 files. If I re import all of the files with the messed up names, I will lose all of my adjustments. Help!I foolishly thought by keeping the same drive and folder names, it would all go well.
Hi! I keep getting emails from message@adobe.com that I need to update my credit card information to be able to pay my invoice for Lightroom. The invoice is already paid, by the 15 september as it should. The last email says that they will shut down my subscription if it isn't dealt with. Anyone knows what to do? Best regards!
I have had several crashes in the print module the last few days. I get regular program closures when I click on the page setup and print options in the bottom left/right of the print module. Sometimes, it works, and sometimes, it crashes. I'm on the newest OSX Sequoia, the latest LrC version, and using an Epson ET 8550. Happy to share any logs. I also used the Apple and Adobe error reporting modules.
Develop model is disable, i need support to access lightroom
Issue: Lightroom Classic (version 13.5.1) on Windows 10 fails to display most folders within the Folders panel after moving a folder within the Lightroom Classic interface, until the software is restarted.
