Every time I try to delete a photo in LR Classic, the only option I'm give is to "Remove." This happens regardless of how I attempt to delete (through the photo menu, backspacing, hitting delete, etc.).  Any help would be appreciated.   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. There is no option to reset new mask slides automatically. Where could it be?? It always did it with earlier versions. Manual reset really slows down the development process.   [Mod: Reformatting post and branched from an older thread referring to a different topic]

I've been using Lightroom Classic for many years so am pretty familiar with how it works, but I am beside myself with frustration today. Though I do use LR mobile and desktop for much of my workflow, I depend upon many of the features in LR Classic that aren't available in the other apps.    I'm using LR Classic version 12.2.1 on Windows 11.  Last week it stopped launching.  Task Manger shows it running as a background process, but the app doesn't launch.  After following suggustions found in other threads and trying them ALL, the only thing I've found to work consistenly is to open a new windows user account.  It works the first time, but it still refuses to open again after that initial launch.  This is obviously not a managable solution.  Any and all help is appreciated.    Device Specs: Device name LH-PersonalDellLaptopProcessor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHzInstalled RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)Device ID EF33E430

I have been trying to use the Denoise without one single success.  My Macbook has 16MB of RAM and is up to that (running Big Sur 11.7.6). It will continualklycrash before completing even 20% of the DNG generation process andf the crash takes one of three forms.....1) Lightroom only crashes.2) all programmes crash but my comnputer does not crash.3) my computer crashes and I get computer generated warning of the crash. I have cleaned up my computer, removed unneccessary apps, cleaned out the cache, reloaded Lightroom Classic, run only LRC with all other programmes closed and still no success.........! I am now running the 30 day trial period of DxO Pure Raw 3 which if I cannot solve this problem will cost me USD129. DxO takes no more than 2 minutes to complete the noise reduction with a 100% success rate.  Needless to say, I do not want to spend USD129 when I already have a LRC subscription.  Please help to solve this problem. 

I have had a WD ex2 Ultra mycloud set up on my home network in Raid 1 configuration. My 6 TB Drives fill so a purchased 2) 12 TB drives. I used my Trip-litew dual dock w/cloning to clone my 1st 6 TB drive to my 1st 12 TB drive. I then cloned the 1st 12 to the 2nd.  I have now returned the 1 & 2 12 TB drive to my Western Digital My Cloud EX2 Ultra housing and connected to my netwwork. The connection fails. Any help with this and I suspect when connected I will not be able to see these in LightRoom.What do I do, create catalog and import (will this take age) Clueless here, I do need direction.Thanks,John

Hello,I have issues setting up LR to send pictures from my gmail. Le email address and password is correct but yet LR wouldnt validate the process and I cannot send pictures.Does someone have any ideas?

Adobe Classic \ updated | Win10The auto masking search for people sometimes takes a minute, but sometimes it crashes the computer too.The support told me I can't configure it to stop guessing my wish and the auto search is the only default. Why are Adobe's engineers (again) forcing me to waste valuable time to watch the antics of their artificial intelligence that doesn't impress me at all?Why the system resource management is so bad that when LR crashes, my Win freezes and nothing works including the task manager - and I have to hard reboot my PC?6 times in one day I've sent Adobe error report- for what?Why do the engineers assume their customers will continue paying for products that delay the creative process from a corporation that doesn't care about the clients?Listen to what Mike Gastin says in his latest YouTube vid before the landslide. I won't stay in this ecosystem for long too. 

Since yesterday I have encountered a problem with the sync function with adobe cloud on Lightroom Classic 12.1, with the message "trying to connect with server" when I click on the cloud storage icon.I have never had issues with the cloud before and it just lost connection all of a sudden. Can anyone shed some light on this problem? I am on windows 10 and I have tried restarting LrC and rebooting numerous times without success, any help is appreciated thanks!

When I go into Develop Mode in Lightroom Classic with some photos, I get a messageI that says, "This file connot be located" . My files are in an external hard drive. All has been working fine, with non changes that I'm aware of. Anyone have any thoughts about finding the images? Thanks!

1. Lightroom 13.3.1.2. Windows 11, 3. Use any supported tool for the first time.  A tip for a tool that you haven't used before opens (yeah!).  Unfortunately if you switch to another window, for example your browser to pause video you are watching so you can read, the tip disappears.  This happens when Lightroom loses focus. 4. I would expect the popup to remain visible until I click the button to dismiss. This is so annoying!  It would be really cool to have actually seen what the tip said.  As an asside from my complaining, is there a way to reset tooltips?

Hi all. Please help, I have tried everything..... When I open LRC it now takes between 5 and 10 minutes to load (Windows 11 pc). Once loaded LRC is fine and I can edit etc.I ran Norton antivirus clean-up on my C: drive yesterday, and assume it removed a critical file that impacts the time that LRC takes to loads. I restored a catolog backup of LRC, disabled all plug-ins, uninstalled LRC and re-installed but it still takes forever to load. I have enough RAM and Disk space on my PC and external drive (where images are kept), because I was running /loading) LRC with no issues yesterday prior to Norton clean-up. I disabled Norton. Disabled Graphic processor.  Ran Optimize catalog. Reset my pc many times.  None of these steps solved my issue.Anyone have ideas? (LRC v 13.3.1 RAW 16.3.1)

Hi everyone, I  have an interesting problem when editing in Lightroom Classic. In RAW the image looks perfect, once processed the result has interesting circular lines in the background. I try many things and nothing seems to work. Finally decide to use Digital Photo Professional by Canon (first photo attached) on the same computer I use with Lightroom and the photo was very nice. So, for sure the problem is Lightroom Classic. (second photo) I use version 13-3 and also update to the latest version with the same result. Any help will be appreciated!!Gustavo.

I need suggestions or help here. I just installed the update to Lightroom Classic and after opening it, it has "lost" almost all of my previously imported photos and collections I had set up in the past. I mean I have 300 photos now in my library when I used to have thousands, all split into the separate trips. I tried to reinstall the older version but the photos are still gone. This is hundreds and hundreds of hours of work lost. 

I have a Canon 5D Mark IV. I have LrC 13.3.1, the latest update as of this post. When I import files a majority of them will work just fine but a small handful just come in as a gray box. If I try and delete the file, nothing happens. I try and right click and hit remove and nothing happens. If I double click on the file it just opens a larger gray box. Any thoughts?

As I have been using Lightoom Classic v13.3.1 Build [202405311538-6d7c0308] on MacOS Sonoma 14.5 (23F79) images have been artifacting and corrupting in Develop mode as I work. The original file is untouched but all of my develop settings are ruined and I cannot even export a clean image. This issue has happened sporadically and I cannot seems to figure out why it's happening. I'm not sure if it is a preview issue, a caching issue (I've cleared my cache and restarted), or anything else.  I have even tried undoing all my edits to see if it "repairs" the artifacting/issues. Nothing works. Also, if I move along and try to work on more photos every photo I attempt to edit corrupts like this.  

Hey, everybody.  I recently upgraded my PC/Monitor. I was very excited to take advantage of the better GPU/Processor for my photo editing, however every time I try to install Lightroom or Lightroom classic, I get the above error messages.   I am running: Windows 10 Version 2H22  Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K @ 4.00 GHz 16 GB Ram   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. A ‘bug’ is not just another word for a problem with software.]   And at first glance, to my technologically illiterate eyes, everything meets minimum reqs. What gives?

I'm importing jPGs only from my Fuji to my Mac. Everything has been fine until 13.3.  I no longer see previews, and I'm shown the following error message:None of the photos can be imported. If I click OK, the message window closes and I'm left with nothing. I've seen conversations here about delays in import and sync, but no reference to this barrier.. Anybody experienced this? Any suggestions? 

Lightroom's mobile sync had become more reliable for the past year and change, but with the latest version we are back to unstable sync, some of the following issues have been experienced:> some stills and videos not getting synced thru> multiple sync errors building up over time> have been forced to wipe my LR cloud assets and restarat fresh, since the "rebuild sync data" no longer works and/or is not recommended> after restarting a fresh cloud library, selecting some collections from my desktop library to "share" and/or sync to cloud, LR is scrambing/mixing up the collection names so I have to manually rename them to the correct name

Hi there, I've updated my Lightroom Classic to release 13.3.1. Since then I've been having trouble with the Ai Masking features and can't seem to get them to work as they used to. The Issue mainly concerns the Select Subject and Select Background masking features. The Select Person feature somehow isn't affected by this. I've provided example images of the kind of masks I'm getting.First the image as is, the the result of the select entire person masking, thirdly the select subject result and lastly select background.Has anyone else run into such masking behaviour? It really doesn't depend on file format or type of raw file it worked so well and now this is all i get in any catalog...  Any Ideas what could be the cause?Many thanks in advance 😉

Ever since upgrading to a new PC, I have been unable to run LrC for more than 2 minutes before the program crashes with no indication of it happening. I've tried searching through every forum available on the web and couldn't find a solution to my issue. So far, I've attempted the following:-Uninstall, then reinstalling the latest LrC update (13.1)-Doing a fresh reinstall of CC desktop + LrC-Resetting preferences-Update Windows and any other relevant drivers, including the GPU-Disable the GPU-Optimise my catalog + create a new catalog-Restarting my PC multiple times-Gave remote access to an agent which didn't solve the problemI have a RTX 4080, 32 GB RAM, Ryzen 9 7950x3D, so I do not think this should be a hardware issue unless I'm mistaken. One thing to note was that I did have Kernel-Power 41 issue prior but I believe I have fixed it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I urgently need this for my work! Many thanks
