Hi Everyone,   I use Lightroom Classic, latest iteration, on my Mac computer. For some time I've been having an annoying problem with Keyword sets. I've set up a number of these. On occasion I want to add a keyword to an existing set, so I follow the normal procedure (which has worked in the past). That is, I go to 'edit set', I enter the new keyword (one from my existing general list), then I click 'Change'. The new keyword appears in the set, and it will work for the rest of my Lightroom session. Whenever I next open Lightroom, that new keyword will have disappeared from the Keyword set. This has happened many, many times now, and it's extremely annoying. I cannot for the life of me see what if anything I'm doing wrong.   Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, have you fixed it?   Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.   Nick.

I have 1 keyword that is followed by a + (plus sign). What does this indicate?

I began having stability issues with LRc 13.5 and more with 13.5.1My motherboard is an ASUS ProArt B660 creator-D4 and I run an Intel i5-13600K processor plus an ASUS ProArt GeForce RTX 4060 Ti OC edition 16GB GDDR6 (which has an NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti). After updating BIOS from ASUS and latest creative driver from NVIDIA I still had issues. I ran the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool 64bit and it returned a fail at the 'Prime number' test.Don't ask me what it all means but the solution they suggest is resetting the BIOS to the default settings. The BIOS on my PC during me building it based on advice was to enable XMP and Intel driven performance enhancments. (XMP meant my 4 x 16GB DDR4 RAM would run at the 3600MHz rating instead of the BIOS default of 2133 MHz) After restoring the BIOS to factory defaults and keeping the RAM at the default 2133 MHz my system appears stable and I haven't suffered from a LRc induced freeze or windows blue screen.  I only had stibility

Bonsoir, Je suis désolé d'avance pour cette question mais je m'y perds...Voilà je me sers de Lightroom Classic et depuis quelques temps de Lightroom CC.  J'avais coupé la synchronisation de Classic depuis un moment et là je voudrais synchroniser les deux... Bref je me demande ce qu'il se passe quand on a retouché certaines photos sous Classic et d'autres sous CC (avec un iPad par exemple) lorsqu'on synchronise les deux alors que les photos brutes sont dans le Cloud et pas le disque dur du Mac (dont le disque commence à faiblir niveau espace) ? Puis-je retoucher des photos synchronisées indifféremment entre Classic et CC et avoir le résultat sur les deux applicatifs identique ? J'espère être clair... Merci d'avance pour vos retours

Lightroom Classic 13.2Windows 10 ProVersion 22H2Build 19045.4046Every time I click to make a mask (K, M, etc) the normal module opens up in the top right, the second I click however it deletes the new mask and any other masks that already exist (which can be added to the picture only via presets). This also begins the "Detecting People ..." dialogue again.To add insult to injury, returning Lightroom to either of the most recent previous versions results in an "assertion failed" error which does not resolve by following the instructions outlined on the adobe help post about the error.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,I need to set the same color to an object in different photos.How can I copy and paste Point color reference between masks in different photos?If it cannot be done with Point color can this be done another way in LrC?It would be very helpful to have the RGB numbers in Point color.RegardsFabio

I have a small problem.  In lightroom classic MetaData I enable the Creator field and type my name. I want any pictures I provide to my company to be tagged.  However, when I look at the metadata on the file, it says Content Creator: Created by Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic 13.5 (Macintosh). I don't see a Creator field when I look at file properties.  So I am not sure how I can get my name tagged on my pictures. Can anyone help me to understand how to do it properly in Lightroom Classic?

Hello! My Lightroom catalog is a hot mess, and I'm hoping someone can guide me through fixing it.  I've used Lightroom for many years, and my catalog holds over 45,000 raw photo files. Bonjour, J'utilise plusieurs catalogue pour différencier mes catégories de photos (Surf, Mariage, Shooting) et des fois ça m'arrive de devoir importer des photos à partir d'un autre catalogue. Mais depuis quelques temps quans je veux faire cette option, j'ai des problèmes. 1. La fenêtre qui s'ouvre n'est pas du tout pratique car on ne voit pas le chemin entier des dossiers depuis lesquels on veut importer les photos et il ne sont pas classés dans l'ordre de mon DD. 2. Je ne peux même plus avoir les aperçus des photos que je veux importer quand je clique sur un dossier3. J'ai carrément des dossiers qui n'apparaissent pas alors qu'ils sont bien dans le catalogue en question...SI vous avez des idées je suis preneur svp. Car du coup je suis obligé de devoir re importer les photos de mon DD au catalogue voulu, sans pouvoir passer par cette option, et donc de devoir refaire toute le post traitement déjà fait sur les photos que je veux changer de catalogue. Merci &#12

Hi, some of the folders in my external HD do not show in LR classic. I go to the HD and they are all there, but the folders dont show in the Library navigator. No idea on why. Its not the "I have a photos showing missing in grid" that needs to be linked. Its just not showing entire folders in menu.  Have looked a a bunch of threads on here., dont see the answer.  Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong? 

Hello! I tried already to disable the GPU in preferences, worked for 30 minutes, now it is not working again. Tried restarting, turning off, all the basics. Anybody else had this problem recently? What can I do to make it work? I have mac m1 pro and the newest version of LR.

Not specifically LR, but as my DNG photo are all for LR, there may be someone here who knows how to resolve the problem.Windows 10 and LR Lightroom version: 6.14 [ 1149743 ] If I go to a Windows 10 folder - all of the jpeg files with have a thumbnail  (as do png, tiff etc)Very few DNG files will have a thumbnail (usually none)I have installed Microsoft raw image Extension .... v3 no differenceHave followed the steps to kill thumbnail cache, delete it, and restart explorer ... all jpeg thumbnails rebuild (slowly) but not DNG.Have also followed the tip to uncheck 'always shows icons, never thumbnails'The advice is to click on teh top button 'apply to folders'  but I can't do that as that is greyed out.  (pic attached)   

This is such an elementary question but.... Can I filter ONLY color images? And/or filter ONLY black-and-white images that I've edited? Tp be clear, not talking about color "labels" like applying the red filter etc. My own images that I've left color, versus images that I've added a black and white edit to.I have a client looking to order a round up of ONLY the color images I provided them, but there are thousands of images - so I'm hoping there's a way to filter OUT any black and white treated images that I've edited from my catalogue, to view only my color images. 

Why are there now hundreds of thousands more files in my preview folder? Some (but not all?) preview files (.lrprev) have associated files that seem to be different sizes of previews. They haven't been there in the past. What has changed? Bob Frost

Hello, I have come back from vacation and want to edit my photos in LcR. It no longer starts up . All I see is a blue wheel turning and it stops after a few seconds. I have version 13.5.1 What should I do? Can anyone help me.

 After I sync a Collection, when I click Make Public (so that I can then view them on the web and share the photos with others), it scrolls forever without actually providing a link. Until very recently, I had never had this issue. I'm not doing anything differently than I did before, so I just don't know what is causing this problem.   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. Olá, estou tentando usar a seguinte configuração na hora de exportar as fotos do catalogo... em LOCAL DA EXPORTAÇÃO está com as seguintes configurações: Exportar para: Mesma pasta da foto originalArquivos existentes: sobrescrever SEM AVISARPorém ele não faz o que pedi para fazer... salvar o arquivo na mesma pasta e sobrescrever ele...Ele dá um erro falando que o destino da foto substituiria a foto existente.....Mas não foi exatamente isso que pedi para fazer? Na mesma pasta da foto original e sobrescrever sem avisar.   Porque preciso fazer isso?... tenho que importar as fotos de produtos para um novo sistema e neste sistema para que funcione a importação das fotos eu precisei criar uma pasta onde o nome da pasta é o ID do produto. e todas as fotos já estão organizadas assim, apenas gostaria de tratar a qualidade delas que no momento está muito alta.   {Moved from Lightroom Cloud to Lightroom Classic Forum by Moderator} 

Using LR (13.5.2) and PS (25.12.0) WIN11. When "save a copy" back to LR the images do not update. Yet, if I look in Explorer, or  open that image again in PS, updates are there.  I have reset LR several times, and it does not help.  This will happen to any image I try it on, so it is not just one image.  Ideas? Thanks.  

How to speed up AI noise reduction in Lightroom Classic?

Today, when I opened Lightroom Classic, I noticed that all the thumbnails were missing. Anytime I click on a folder, the thumbnails are blank, and Lightroom begins rebuilding only the thumbnails visible on the screen. As I scroll down, new blank thumbnails appear, and Lightroom starts rebuilding those as well. The bigger issue, however, is that during the thumbnail rebuilding process, my CPU temperatures soar. They hover around 80°C, with spikes reaching as high as 95°C. This has been happening for a while, but I used to only notice it with new photos, so I tolerated it. Now, even just scrolling (through folders where thumbnails were not yet rebuilt) causes the CPU to overheat, which is becoming a serious problem. I have like 14000 photos, so... yeah. My main question is: Is this normal?Additionally, what could be causing all the thumbnails to disappear, and what can I do to bring the CPU temperatures down when Lightroom is rebuilding the thumbnails? Hi all. When exporting from Lightroom Classic, or using the "edit in" function and editing in Photoshop 2022, the colors in my image are completely different. I have tried updating my graphics drivers. My display calibration is set to sRGB - but I do not think this is the issue as they are different even between applications. I have not tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Version numbers are at the bottom of this post. I've been struggling trying to find a solution for about 2 hours now and would appreciate any and all help as to why this would be happening. Photoshop Color Settings Lightroom External Editing & Export settings  Example below. Hola Comunidad, uso Lightroom Classic hace un tiempo y hace poco cambie mi laptop. Antes tenía un HP con Windows 10 el cual batallaba mucho para poder editar por lo viejo que era, ahora tengo un laptop más potente que corre todo super bien. Pero, al momento de utilizar la opción capturas conectadas al equipo me reconoce la cámara puedo de hecho visualizar y cambiar los parámetros de la cámara desde el laptop. El problema es cuando tomo la fotografía la cámara hace su trabajo (se escucha el obturador tomando la fotografía) pero lightroom no muestra la imagen capturada, es como si no la sacara. cabe mencionar que utilizo la misma cámara (Canon R10) y mismo cable tipo c para conectar la cámara al laptop. No hay tampoco mensajes de erroresFavor su ayuda! 

I've started having issues with LR 13.5.1 (or just before). When I change screens or focus away from LR to another app or file on the desktop, when I return to LR, it has a scrim/screen over the image and the program is hung up, with the Windows scrolling wheel showing. I have waited up to an hour and it never reloads properly. This will happen with a small catalog of a few hundred and with large ones with thousands of images. It can also happen when I change between work areas of LR itself.  I have checked the Task Manager, and LR is using maybe 50 - 60 % of CPU and around 10 - 20 GB (of 128 GB) RAM. The only way out of this is to crtl-alt-del to Task Manager and kill the instance. I've been using the same machine for almost four years (AMD Rythen Threadripper 3960x 24-core) under Win 10 and moved to Win 11 a few months ago, but this problem started only a few days ago.  No new plug-ins or changes to settings.
