I was searching for something similar but what I found was not exactly what is happening with my Lightroom Classic. I often shoot dance shows and need to crop eventually the image. What I always do is to crop first, then I proceed with the edits. If one image needs a healing brush (like to remove some head or obstacle in front of the stage to get a clean photo), I need to use the healing brush before the crop. I'm ok with that, since I have more control while the full image is being displayed anyway. I was editing a photo just a minute ago and I noticed this, tough: I used a healing brush. Cropped. Was about to do a minor fix in the healing brush handle, and I could not select it. The healing brush handle is inside the cropped area, so I should be able to select it and move it a bit around. I could not do it. If I reset the crop, I can select the handle and move it around. But its not a good idea because I can't "undo" the crop without guessing where it was before. Yeah

Any ideas why my photos are exporting darker than how I edit them in LR? Left is in LR and right is basic photo viewer on my Windows Laptop. When I open in PS it is displaying how it is on the right.  

Hello all,I'm using LR since a decade, and from the beginning of synchronisation.I have a catalogue on dropbox that I can use at home with my personnal account, and at work with the company account.Until now everything works nice, but since 13.3.1 I have a pop up ask me to restart LR when I switch between 2 adobe account.The result is that all the sync is lost.My pictures are still online, but my folder are not syncronised anymore.So everytime, LR start to download all the files online back to my catalog, and I'm not able to synchronize the pictures online because my folders are not identified as synchronizedI don't know if this is on purpose from adobe, but I lost a lot of hours of work here.And if it's not possible to switch between 2 adobe account, I'm thinking to stop using LR and to find another solution.

Hallo Zusammen, ich habe heute mein Jahresabo für die CreativeCloud eingelöst.Da ich noch ein älteres Betriebssystem auf meinem Mac nutze (kann nicht mehr updaten, Gerät zu alt) bin ich davon ausgegangen, auch eine entsprechend ältere Version für Lightroom nutzen zu können. Version 12.5, siehe Screenshot unten links. Leider scheint das nicht zu funktioinieren, ich kann die Version nicht laden. Kann mir hierzu jemand helfen?Danke vorab. Grüße und einen schönen Sonntag 

Hey Everyone, I'm using LRClassic on windows, and I'm having this problem with multiple versions of LRClassic (including at least 12.1 and 12.5). I've build 1:1 previews for my images.  I'm in the library module, going through images fast in "loupe view" by rolling my mouse wheel, assigning star values as I go.  The problem/bug is that, if (for example) I start the process with photo #1 highlighted/rendered (both in the loupe view and in the film-roll below), and I start flipping through pictures...  for much of the time, only the loupe view is changing, and the film-roll view below isn't updating.  If I use the keyboard to assign a star rating during that ambiguous interval (again, different image highlighted in film-roll view and in the loupe view), the star i'm trying to assign to the loupe view image gets assigned instead to the image that's highlighted in the film-roll view!   In the end I can have scrolled through hundreds of pictures,

I can not verifi my new gmail account in lightroom. Google has changed there two step verification proceadures, passwords are no longer used.

Not 100% how to describe this. But I'm pretty sure that in versions previous to 13.3, when I move from one image to the next, in Dev. mode, whatever adjustment I made (lets say exposure setting) would lock. The adjustment box would be closed. So that if I hit key 2 for example, to down rate an image (my picks are marked 4 stars), then the 2 would give that image 2 stars. Now it doesn't. Because the adjustment box stays live when you move from one image to the next, when I hit 2, it puts 2 into the exposure number. Not what I wanted at all. This means after every adjustment, I have to hit Enter to close the box. An extra step on every single adjustment I make. Extremely frustating. Now I can imagine for some people, this behaviour could be useful. But it would be nice to be able to toggle it on or off. Unless there's a method of doing this already, which I've forgotten?

Okay folks,Not happy at all. Just opened Lightroom Classic to find some photos and find out I have to upgrade the catalog. No problem...upgrade. But then nothing shows up and it says to click "import". I just want to see my previous catalog. Someone tell me how I can do that without having to go through a process. I have the backups and everything else, but I am not going to import everything all over again. Apparently the programmers didn't make sure this upgrade worked properly before releasing it. 

Hi everyone, A few years ago I had a small accident with an HD with photos from NEF files, but I managed to recover part of the files and was using/editing them normally. However, after some software update, I don't know which, I can no longer edit the NEF files recovered (viewing and reading succeed without problem). The error when editing is something like "Unexpected end of file". I tried several recovery software, but none of them solved the problem. Is anyone else with this problem? As requested:1. Lightroom version 12.32. OS: Windows 113. Open the NEF file in Lightroom and try to edit it. Thanks

How do you use the Exported choice that is available in the Smart Collections' options list - along with Rating, Label Color, Label Text, etc.? What is the intent of this option? How do you use it?

My current folder structures looks like this.Currently in the LR library it shows all of folders listed here except the iPhone folder. In LR, how do I simply just add the iPhone folder to the library instead of creating a new folder in the library and then import all the photos/images in the iPhone folder? If I do a Sychronize folder, I can see the iPhone folder. And if I'm correct, doing it this way avoids importing but I'm not 100% sure. What I'm trying to avoid is duplicating images in my Media volume. That is why I want to add the existing folder instead of importing. I do not want to import images form iPhone to another iPhone folder; thus, duplicating the files.

After selecting the Mask icon and then selecting any of the Add New Mask options below, I get anywhere from 2 to 30-second delay before any of the tools is available. No consistent pattern on delay time either. This occurs only when using the tablet/pen; mouse is instant response. Ich arbeite mit der Gesichtserkennung. Ich muss auch sehr oft den Gesichtsrahmen manuell einzeichnen und benennen.Jetzt muss ich feststellen, dass die Namen sehr oft nicht in die Metadaten des Bildes übernommen werden. Was kann das sein?

Lightroom won't open. It gets stuck on that catalog page, but it doesn't open. I've already tried closing the task through the manager and restarting the PC, but nothing works.

For some reason, rather than just naming raw files imported as DNG with .DNG extension, LR Classic gives a choice as to whether to use .DNG or .dng. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that and so all of my imported photos are .dng. How do I tell LR Classic to change the already imported raw files to .DNG? It should be easy for LR Classic to do so since it is just changing the case of the extension, but I can't figure out how. Thanks.

Every image gets cropped significantly even If I do not open crop and straighten. EVERY IMAGE!! 

Hello, I've been having issues with geneative AI over the last 2 days. After updating and rebooting programs and my pc I continue to get an error message. Sometimes the message is saying it's because of my internet (which I've tested and is fine) or it just is loading with the bar after and then just disappears and never happens. 

I love the new masking solutions for Lightroom Classic.  I am though wanting to use Lightroom Classic on my macbook using Parallels.  The Arm version of Lightroom Mobile was implemented in December 2020.  When can we see an Arm version of Lightroom Classic?  Thanks.

I have a problem about my exported phots from Adobe Lightroom Classic 13.3.1 (Camera Raw 16.3.1) on my Windows 10 computer. Some part of those photos turn into a blue ,as you can see the attached photo, although The color profile of my Adobe Lightroom Classic is always set sRGB iec 61966-2.1. I thought it may be about my monitor. So, I try to see those photo in Google Photo on my phone but I got the same problem. How do I fix this? 

Hi!I recently have been noticing that many of my photos have their adjustments turned off. Anything that is outside of the Basic dropdown is off, and crop is removed. I found someone else with this same problem but they didnt have a solution besides restoring a catalog backup. I've done a lot of photo work since my last backup, so I'd like not to do that. When I go into history I see that affected photos have a "multiple settings" item on top, and that if I go to the item below, it brings back all the original edits.The person I linked said this happened after trying out ON1 Raw, a Lightroom alternative, and that is something I tried out (for like 5 seconds) last week. I can post screenshots, but that's pretty much all there is to it I can think of. Any ideas on how to fix? Really don't want to have to restore old catalog, unless I can easily copy new edits between new and old to bring it up to date. Thanks!

I´m testing with excelent performance Premier and Photoshop, but can´t even download Lightroom Classic. I´d like to know When could We expect to have it available and if L.C. Will utilize the NPU for some tasks as I.A. Noise reduction. Best regards.

For years i have been doing batch HDR using the keyboard shortcut and typing X to reject the original photos and then stuck only with the HDRs. I had if not the last but was an updated LR version. I formated my Mac and did a brand new install of everything altough using my 2024 catalog. So i don't know if this is a new error or what. But now when I type X to reject the photos as soon it creates the HDR it is created rejected. I really don't know what's going on. And sometimes it doesn't happen and the HDR photo is not reject automatically but most of the time it's created rejected and for the years I have been doing this daily this never happened. If someone know what's going on or if is something new to LR please change it back. Mac Os Ventura 13.6.5LR Classic 13.2
