Beim Entfernen von Elementen in Lightroom Classic wird das Element nicht restlos entfernt sondern erscheint nur farblos. Besonders dann wenn das Element vor dem Himmel steht. Siehe Beispielbilder. Was ist falsch?

Hi! Kind of a noob here, so please bear with me.   Problem: Today, while working in Lightroom Classic, I noticed that a bunch of my photos had an exclamation point icon added to them. See the image below. When I hover over the icon, it says "Error writing metadata" (pretty scary) Clicking the icon opens the window below. When I click "Import Setting from Disk" my adjustments seem to be cleared away (not great, lol).   When I click "Retry Metadata Export" that seems to fix the issue. The only problem is that there are thousands of photos that display that icon.   At first, I thought the issue was isolated to photos that I had made edits on, but upon further investigation, it seems that that is not the case.   Personal Investigation I'd Done: Naturally, I googled the issue but haven't found any definitive answers. I cant use tethering on my 16" Macbook Pro M1 MAX with my Canon R6M2It's as if the program doesn't recognize the camera. It's permanently in the mode where it searches for a connection.However, when I use Canon's own software, it works.Software on Camera. LR and Mac are the newest Version

I have always been able to rename my photos during import but recently that has not been working properly.I name my photos by date, then custom text, then a sequence. YYYY-MM-DD_custom-sequence #000When the photos import they are renamed in a random order and not in the order I took them.For example the 15th photo I took on my camera would be renamed 001Importing without renameing works but importing while renaming has worked since I have started using lightroom so I’m not sure whats happening. I also have not seen much on this issue online

Bonjour,Je fais des photos de concert et je les "débruite" systématiquement. Je viens de constater que sur ces photos le processeur  (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700T CPU @ 2.90GHz) est occupé à 70% dés que je commence à travailler sur la photo. Quand je décoche "réduction du bruit" tout redevient normal. J'ai investigué un peu : les curseurs "haute lumière" et "ombre" déclenchent ce phénomène . Si on les remet à zéro , plus de problème. How can I make a layout for collages for printing and save them (for future use) in PS or LR ?

I'm having trouble with the program synchronization between my Lightroom collections with the cloud. I had a photo that was appearing multiple times in every online collection taking place of the photos that has to be there, so I deleted the sync data and then created new sync data. Now I have the green check icon in the cloud, but it's not uploading any photos to view online. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the program, but it still not working.

I encountered a severe issue where accidentally pasting a long string of JSON code (Elementor/CSS configuration data) into the Library module's Text Filter causes Lightroom Classic to become unresponsive and unusable. Steps to reproduce: Open Lightroom Classic (Library Module). Enable the Text Filter bar (\ key). Paste a complex JSON string (sample provided below) into the search field. Lightroom attempts to process the query. Actual Result: UI Freeze: The interface becomes unresponsive. Right-click context menus stop working. Develop Module Failure: Switching to the Develop module results in a blank/grey screen. The image does not load, and sliders are inactive, even though the filmstrip is visible. Persistence: The issue persists after restarting Lightroom. The application "remembers" the text in the filter and immediately freezes upon launch. Hello, I have been having performance issues with Lightroom Classic for a few months but I thought it was due to my old iMac needing more power. I just finished doing my transition to a new Mac mini with Mac Studio screen. It has the Mac MP4Pro chip and is loaded in terms of cores, memory etc. Unfortunately I still have the slow issue. I keep having to optimise my catalog to gain some responsiveness but it's not functional. I downloaded the Lightroom Classic version directly from the Adobe website. so I would not carry over potential issues. Does anyone have a similar situation and what can be done to fix this problem. I have a friend professional photographer with the exact same machine and she does not have this issue.   To provide more information I'm on Apple Tahoe 26,2, M4 Pro chip, 14 cores, 20 graphic processor and 16 cores neural engine. I have 64 g of unified memory and my lightroom library sits on an SSD external disk of 4 tb. My catalogue is on my iMac.   

Ladies and Gents,I'm almost out of ideas. I did anything I could - have LrC installed on fast SSD, have catalog, cache and anything on fast SSD. I've got a rig that is way beyond "high spec". I did every bit of optimalization I could find info on. And yet my Lightroom Classic, especially when working with masks is so slow I can go and make a tea before it opens new linear gradient mask layer. I'm on verge of saying bye bye to adobe, I'm paying premium for a dead carcass that should've been already built from the ground up, not just plastered with new options making it unstable and unoptimized garbage can that works well for some and like **** for many. Opening "Preferences" window in LrC is working beyond sluggish. Even my mouse cursor sometimes starts lagging. It's been 6 months since I've had to use Lightroom Classic.  Prior to 15.1.1 I was very proficient.  But the latest version with how I have to use Update AI settings for each photo that has denoise or removal is a real waste of my time compared to prior versions. I especially dislike the ability to perform lengthy denoise from having to to into the Sync settings uncheck everything I usually use just to perform a batch denoise.  Prior functionality to select a group of photos to set the denoise options and run in batch and walk away needs to return to improve productivity. Having to regenerate AI removal after denoise is also time consuming.  Again if a batch of photos can be denoised together a 2nd pass of the batch to update AI removals would be very efficient.  If any changes occurred can be flagged/identified for review and rework would optimize my workflow. Current Update AI settings is causing me huge productivity time sync, even though rege

I am having an issue with Lightroom Classic not fully starting.  I had an issue with Photoshop, which caused me to do a Hard Restart of my computer.  After the restart, LRC will not launch completely.  It is stuck in the launch window, and if I click on the window, I get the "Not Responding" indication. I tried a regular restart of the computer multiple times with negative results. I have uninstalled and reinstalled LRC multiple times, once with a computer restart after the uninstall, but I am still stuck in the same spot.  I am up to date with the most current versions of all my applications. I've tried to contact Adobe via the Contact Us messenger window but that was of little help. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I have tens of thousands of photos shot with older cameras- mainly Sony A100, A700, and A850, with a mix of Minolta, Sony, and some third-party lenses. I'm on Mac, with Lightroom Classic 15.1.1. I'm wondering how I can find and load what must have once been available, the older matching profiles for my Sony gear? I can't be the only only one with these older RAW files. I started RAW processing with Bridge CS3, then switched to Aperture until it was discontinued, and didn't use Lightroom until after that. My current Canon cameras and lenses are well-supported with Camera Neutral (what I prefer to use) and lens profiles, but the older gear is barely supported. No camera profiles and few Sony/Minolta lens profiles. If I open an ARW file that I had previously edited, the profile will be something like "ACR 4.3", even if I change the process to current. But everything else defaults to the dreadful Adobe Color profile. Adobe Neutral is bad too, it looks like ungraded video foo

I've been shooting in some grow rooms which had a heavy pink cast.  I was able to do a custom wb in the room at the time and get satisfactory colours in camera, however on import I'm unable to use the colour picker or reference wb shots to set the wb as it's so extreme it remains heavy pink  Is there any way to import the settings used in camera and apply to RAW files?   A couple of photos of my screen as the jpeg previews went from in camera jpeg to RAW smart previews. shot on Canon R52, custom wb.

Les dossiers comprennent des photos qui ne devraien pas s'y trouver, des dossiers sont devenus des sous-dossiers et d'autres des dossiers principaux. Dans l'exemple ci-dessous, le dossier Fundy-Grand Manan devrait contenir environ 700 photos et non pas 9209.Pour reconstruire le tout je devrais passer photo par photo et déterminer dans quel dossier elles vont. Avec plus de 10000 photos c'est une tâche colossale. J'utilise un seul catalogueC'est arriver à quelqu'un d'autres?

Hello - I wonder if anyone can help with this issue.. When I connect my camera (Nikon z6 3) to my mac running lightroom classic to import photos via USB, the camera briefly displays the screen to tell me that it is in upload mode but after a second or two the connection is dropped and lightroom will not ingest photos from the camera.  The weird bit is that if I start Nikon Transfer 2, that app maintains a stable connection to the camera (also using USB-C), which allows me to import to Lightroom (!), so all is not lost but frankly that is not a great solution. I would be grateful for any suggestions for a fix. Regards, Aidan Gaule 

When I opened LR Classic the catalog used couldnt be found. I have searched on hard drive of my Imac and on the external drive where I store photos and catalogs. I cant find that catalog that LR is looking for.What are my options as I dont want to open a catalog and lose the last changes I made with deleting unwanted photos and adding new folders? Any help would be very much appreciated. Alistair

Hello, I just got back to my LR Classic & unable to see any of my imported presets which were there last month. I have not changed any settings etc in while. When I tried to import presets again I get an error "Unable to Import, Preset Already Exists" but under Develop > Preset its totally empty In Prefrences, I see the presets that I have imported but nothing in Develop section

I have been working with presets for years and just recently within the last week or so I updated my LrC to the latest version. Once I did that I did not work on any images so I felt like everything was fine. Although once I came back from a sesssion I uploaded the images and started adding some presets I noticed the color was different from preset once i copied and paste it and what was even more frustraiting was when I used some of my favorite BW presets. they were not being shown as BW they were muted colored images, then when I applied a preset I noticed the Profile it should have shifted too, was missing. Yes, images are RAW, and I have tried adding them via little icon on the Profile Browser. It says the proflies have been uploaded already. I have removed the index.dat that another forum recommeneded and still nothing.  In my previous versions even in an older computer I still use, teh profile browser does show a "profiles" folder in the list of Profiles available.

Hi All! I've been shooting with Canon cameras and using Lightroom for years (although not very technically inclined). Last year I bought a Canon R6 MII and began using the founder's profile in Aftershoot for AI post processing. On my previous two low-light (indoor/winter) shoots while using the R6 at around 2500-5000 ISO, the photos seem very, very grainy and full of noise in Lightroom. I looked at both the Aftershoot versions (really bad grain and noise) and a direct import into Lightroom (not as bad, but still bad enough) and I'm really surprised I'm not getting better results from my R6 in low light. I spoke with Canon Pro Services because I need to send the R6 in for repair and they said to try to import into Canon's Digital Photo Pro software to compare the noise and grain. I did and indeed, there is WAY less grain and noise. He suggested maybe I upgrade my Lightroom (I'm on the subscription plan), but my computer may not do well with a system upgrade - needed if I

Lightroom Classic ver 15.1Windows 11I noticed this first a few days ago. When I try to view an album online, I get the message "This album is empty".  I create quite a few Collections in Lightroom Classic and then use the Make Public button to create a url that can be viewed online. The url's still exist and show in my Collections, sync is on but I can't view anything online. Even if I create a new collection and Make Public, the newly created url gives me the same message.
