Questions

First, thanks for the incredible knowlege on these boards and I apologise but cannot seem to figure this out.  Background:  I am fairly adept at LR Classic, PS, etc. but after years, finally used LR (cc) for daily edits while traveling.  Each RAW image has an accompaning .XMP file in the same folder on an external HDD.  Now home, I can't figure out how to move these images with the .XMP into LR Classic on my desktop PC.  I tried importing into the catalog but only get the original RAW without edits on LR Classic even though each has the .XMP in the folder on the HDD.  What am I missing, here?

Hola.He hablado con soporte varias veces y nadie me ha sabido dar solución a este problema. Uso Lifhtroom Mobile desde mi iPad Pro porque me he acostumbrado editar mis fotos desde aquí por la portabilidad que me ofrece. Pero quería aumentar el almacenamiento en la nube porque los 100 Gb se me quedan muy cortos. Pero sólo encuentro soluciones de ampliación para las versiones de escritorio o mixtas, no me queda claro específicamente si existe forma de ampliación cuando sólo uso la versión Mobile. ¿Alquien puede ayudarme? Yo quiero seguir con mi suscripción mobile de App Store, pero contratar alguna solución de Cloud extra. Y no sé cómo o desde dónde hacerlo. Gracias.

Hi there,  I really like the 'add borders and share' feature to add a white border to images. But i've notcied that the exported images no longer contain location information and I can't seem to find an option to preserve this.  I can see that if I use 'export as' I can enable an option to include the location info, but of course I'm not getting the border if I use this option.  Is there something I'm missing please? Thanks!

After using Lightroom for an hour or so, when I hit K to activate a mask brush, the magnifying glass for zoom is activated instead. Once I click once, it zooms in--and then activates the mask brush. It is one of those things which makes one want to pull their hair out. Upon careful observation, I noticed that when I am hitting K to bring up the mask brush, Lightroom activated the Rotate field in the Transform panel (but the Zoom tool is still the active pointer). If I hit Enter once, it goes away and then I can carry on with my editing.

Hallo, ich habe mir heute eine neue Grafikkarte eingebaut und Lightroom gestartet. Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass die letzten bereits bearbeiteten Bilder überbelichtet angezeigt worden. Diese hatte ich vorher am IPad oder an dem Computer über die Browser Version bearbeitet. Die Bilder werden auf dem Handy, in der Web Version und als Kopie in Lightroom Classic richtig dargestellt, bloß in Lightroom viel zu weiß. Kann das mit dem Wechsel der GPU zusammenhängen? Jemand Ideen wie man es Ändern könnte?

Hola! Tengo Lightroom para iPad y sería ideal que se pudiese configurar el tamaño de la fotografía durante la edición mediante el recorte o a la hora de exportar la imagen. Creo que es algo básico decidir qué tamaño (centímetros, etc.) queremos que tenga la foto. Hi,I'm having this issue on regular basis and havent found a solution. When opening a picture from Lr to Ps , Ps tells me that the picture has changed ( opr something along those lines) and asks me if I want to save it. I press yes and this happens (see visual reference attached)Some results are even worse with yellow and purple thik lines accross the whole picture.Could really use some help. I'm on Macbook M1 pro 14 , Sonoma 14.6.1

I'm disappointed to find that the brand new AI DeNoise tool isn't even compatible with photos I've shot using my iPhone in Lightroom Mobile. Small phone sensors create the most need for this tool, so this is a glaring oversight in the ecosystem!   Here's the photo info: Here's the error that I see:

I have been using lightroom for a few months with no issue, recently an issue began usually when zooming or panning an image where the screen freezes and goes black for a couple seconds (only the monitor currently displaying lightroom has this issue, my other monitor stays on). This does not happen every time but enough that I would consider it unusable. I contacted support but they deemed it was due to the masking in my photos and essentially told me to avoid using masks. The issue persists even when editing RAW images that have no masks applied yet so I do not see how this could be the case.I am running windows 11 on a high-end desktop pc with an RTX 4090 + 32GB RAM and have had no issues in other graphic design/ photo-editing apps. My graphics drivers are updated and I performed a clean installation when the issue began, not sure what option I have other than cancelling my subscription but I would like to continue using lightroom if only it functioned. 

Uploading photos to cloud is very very slow.From the workflow perspective, I use IPAD as the entry point. I copy all photos to IPAD Pro. Then edit while commuting and export to external drive.To simplify and optimize that workflow, I switched to 1TB plan, so that I can skip the export import part and access the edited files from MAC.But the Sync to cloud is very very slow. And looks like I have to wait for days to get ~1200 files to be syned (less than 60GB)I am in a very very high speed internet connection (317.7 Mbps download, 201.5 Mbps Upload). Any solutions? Or this is a bug which the dev team dont want to care?

I managed, stupidly, to delete 770 pictures that I had just downloaded from my camera, both on the camera and then in Lightroom.  Any ideas on how to retrieve? SJK

Shot some images using my IPhone 15Pro today, using Lightroom for Mobile, and noticed the geotag location information is incorrect. I was stood on the English side of the Severn at Severn Beach but the geotag was in the centre of Chepstow. Images shot using the native camera app had the correct location. All to much for my little bear brain. Any ideas? I'm using the IOS 18 Beta. Possible cause of problem?

My "recent" folder on my IPad version of Lightroom contains 47,000 photos, which is my entire library.  How to I limit the number of photos in that folder to truly recent photos? Thank you.

Hey guys Adobe delete all my content on Lightroom Mobile.1500 Photos...any idea what I should do?

I bought the ipad version thinking it would transfer over to desktop. If i cancel my subscription for the ipad version and just keep lighroom for the desktop, will it continue to work on my ipad or do I have to have both subscriptions in order for it to work cross platform?

I'm having trouble creating a B/W preset, using the latest Lightroom for mobile (iPad Pro '11).Firstly I edit my image using Gray mix to bring down luminosity of blues, and push up oranges and greens for skin & foliage. Then, when I generate my preset I make sure that 'Black and white mix' is ticked (under 'Color'). The newly generated preset will then apply all my setting EXCEPT my Gray mix values. How can I fix this? thanks.

The keyboard shortcut P for flagging photos opens and closes the left side panel instead of flagging/picking photos on my and my wife's Macbook Pro runing IOS12.2.1 and Lightroom Version 6.1.   Shortcut works on my ipad.

Hi!I'm using the latest version of iOS on my iPhone and Lightroom mobile.When I export an image from Lightroom to the iPhone's photo gallery, the image shows the export date instead of the original capture date. I've checked and confirmed that all export settings in Lightroom are correct. I've tried different export methods, but the issue persists. The rest of the EXIF information remains intact; only the date is being modified. What could be causing this problem? Is it possible that the iPhone is changing the date due to the app? Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Got on my app today and now all the presets that I use are gone I only have presets in Subject now  

Hello. I'm someone who enjoys editing photos with Lightroom Mobile through the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. I used to edit photos with my fingers, but this time, I tried editing with the S Pen. However, I encountered some strange issues. Here are the strange points:( video material : https://photos.app.goo.gl/jWiTJTVEc9okHvFGA) 1. 'Color Mix' doesn't work properly - As shown in the attached video, the color values change abruptly when I bring the Pen close to the image.2. Even after exiting 'Color Mix,' the user interface doesn't close properly - As seen in the last part of the attached video, color mixing-related interface elements remain at the top of the user interface. To get out of this issue, I had to exit the photo editing altogether. The problem is that all of this only happens when I use the S Pen. I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with Android 13 and One UI version 5.1. The Lightroom Mobile app version is 8.5.2.
