Hello Mixamo won't import the colors of my 3d model. please help
Hardest working site in the world. Mixamo.com! very slow, very heavy, it freezes a lot, eats a lot of ram.It freezes so much that I can't do anything. I can't download animations. I cannot select a character. Please improve this site or make a pc program of mixamo. Please forward this complaint to the top management. We are not satisfied with mixamo. Has too many problems. Should be fixed.

Hi, do i have to bind skeletons before uploading the 3d character?
So, In mixamo you can upload your own custom model, witch you can then use the excellent atuo rigger to rig your model. I have just one question, and depending on the answer it could be a request. I was wondering if you could attach a model part that stayed siff instead of moving around like a body part in a rig. like a sword, or spear. something that wouldn't bend with the body. something that would stick to the surface its attached to, but stay straight. if there is a way to do this, I would like to know, and if not, if its not to much, I think it would be a cool feature to include. because without a way to make a weapon or item stiff, I find animations that involve swords or spears with my custom model unusable, because of the auto rigger adding that weapon as a body part. thanks! - NinjaAsh

Mixamo does a poor job of skinning and rigging models!It wasn't noticed before, a couple of years ago. And now the defects of the model processing are too conspicuous. Maybe it's because Adobe owns the tool?There is a stretch deformation in the pelvic area of the character's lower pelvis. This is ugly for the model and animation, which was not the case a few years ago.It doesn't depend on the model of the character. We can adjust his geometry on the fly, and it doesn't change the situation with Mixamo.We ask Adobe to make a correction in the MIXAMO program.
When I load my custom character into Mixamo and place the points, I get a message saying "Unknown Error while generating motion." It's like Mixamo doesn't recognize my model as a riggable character...P
I saw an error on devtool. The problem may be caused by this error.
Hello All, Are there docs for the proper process of exporting an edited animation from Blender to an FBX? I used the Blender Add On to import and edit an animation using the control rig but can't figure out how to export it in a usfual file formate. I'd like to have only the animation exported as an FBX but everthing I've tried comes out mangled (including multiple skeletons). Using Blender 3.2.2 and Blender Add On verion 1.11.11
So I got the Mixamo addon installed in Blender 2.93. But somehow it can't create the control rig. It just spits out an error.Though, the addon does work in 2.92. I'm guessing that it's because the addon was made in 2.92 or below.If so, then the addon needs to be updated to 2.93. Also, right now I only got issues with the generate control rig. When I use the rig I created in 2.92 to 2.93, the rig still works. I also added an animation from Mixamo and it does work.
The models GENESIS 8 et 8.1 from daz 3D are compatible now with Mixamo .. it's possible to upload those in MIXAMO , but the inverse isn't possible now .. the possiblity I test is to upload from DAZ and to download to BLENDER the complete character with textures ( use it in OBJ ) ... but I would prefer stay on DAZ , it's many much more easy and fast to use for better render than blender so Friends from ADOBE, do something , return to your precedent code export , it was better !! that action throw up all my work !

I am trying to auto rig a character that I bought for blender. Whenever I put all the points on all the right spots on the character and click next a message appears. "Error Occured on rig: Uknown Error while generating motion. Oops! Please place all markers on the character. Anybody know how I can fix this?
I am a computer teacher at a British Secondary School, and I have in mind for my students to use Mixamo. For that reason, I have read these two documents: https://www.adobe.com/legal/terms-linkfree.htmlhttp://www.adobe.com/go/primary-secondary-terms It says that students do not have to be 13 if they are working within a school. Still, I don't understand how I should proceed practically. Some of my students who might be interested in this project might not be 13 years old yet. How should they log in to Mixamo to download the characters and the animations?
Mixamo's Problems:There is more than one animation with the same name (etc: 22 pieces walking animation. These can be called walking-1 walking-2.)Animations are mirrored to the x-axis but not to the z-axis. This realy needed!When I search for animation, I want to display the animations belonging to a package as a set. (etc: i want to view all animations of y-bot.)Please add more characters and more animations.And please improve the site. Very freezing and heavy sometimes. Please provide them. I'm ready to pay whatever. If you do these, I'm sure you'll get a lot more customers.
hey guys, is it possible we could get a list of common issues that causes this to happenhaving searched the internet extensively, it appears, things likre mapping anything other than diffuse, could affect it, polycount could affect it, having cameras or lights or anything other than the polygons and joints could affect it - but there is no official documention of criteria i have a rig, that back in may, i uploaded to mixamo fine, but today when i pop back in, its suddenly giving me this error again I dont know whats changed between now and may, but it no longer is willing to upload my rig. i dont want to use mixamo's rig, because the joint placement is always off, and the skinning is poor - i have a rig that is ready to go can anyone offer up any advice? ill try to post the rig shortly (NOTE: yes it has a tail, but that hasnt been an issue in the past)
Hi, I'm trying to rig a textured model from p3dm.ru. It opens correctly in Blender and 3d Viewer. I followed the advice here:https://community.adobe.com/t5/mixamo-discussions/uploading-3d-model-into-mixamo-with-textures/m-p/11679158#M342The model was already an obj file, I made all the texures into png, then modified the mtl file accordingly (although it still contains folder paths from my PC, maybe that's the issue?), then I've packed everyting into a zip:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-ZtA8n3W171avx91Hp1_7UzHGttUaW2y?usp=sharingBut uploading the zip into mixamo.com still gives me a textureless model. What am I doing wrong?
I'm trying to rig a model but it throws an "Unable to map existing skeleton" error. I've tried looking for numerous solutions online but to no avail. Some of the answers I've found point to the fact that my model has multiple floating meshes. The model will not display inside of the preview window in Mixamo even when I'm using one of the pre-made models provided by Adobe. I can turn on the skelton inside of the preview window and watch animations that way. I can also download the model with animation from Mixamo and have it work perfectly fine. I've been searching online for a solution and haven't found anything please help if you can.
Hi, I'm having trouble getting my model past processing. The upload bar goes super quickly, but then it just stops when the window says "processing, this shouldnt take longer than half a minute." I googled it and most things say it's a server issue, but trying it on a past version of the model (admittedly I uploaded it previously to check the rig for functionality) and that works fine. My most recent attempt told me to contact support and they said come ask on the forum so I'm hoping you guys can help. Anyone know what's happening here?
Hello, Is anyon at adobe able to convey that mixamo truly needs to import into programs starting in the forms designated a-pose and not reset it. Mixamo fails in fit accuracy for garment production because we need the a pose. Also if I am applying code to bones and I have shoes rigged, it causes problems on shoes, unless I export the form as obj to to mixamo. In this case it makes the shoes look super funky, particulalrly in cat walk . Truly is problematic for apparel product development. I advise any company to only use mixamo for the animating of the form or clothes and never ever for fit validation. Never for fit construction. That said we still need start position in a-pose.
