Hey everyone,I’m having trouble with Adobe Photoshop’s Generative Fill. The app is fully updated, but every time I try to use the feature, the progress bar only fills halfway—and then I get an error message saying"Something went wrong. Please try again."I’ve already tried reinstalling Photoshop, but no luck.Has anyone faced this issue or know how to fix it?Thanks in advance!

Hello. I have a problem. Ever since yesterday, Photoshop has started lagging with irritating slowness whenever I try to paint. I did nothing untoward to prompt the change, it just started happening randomly. I've tried various fixes to no avail.  This is a new computer, too. My younger brother was a dang sweetheart and helped build this, so by all accounts it should still have plenty of memory. I have tried unchecking the GPU option in Photoshop. On my computer, I tried deleting unnecessary files and performed an unscheduled defragment. I tried a couple other things I can't remember now but it is still lagging and it is irritating. Below are my system's specs if it helps. I am running Windows 10.  When I try to run an action using the F Key combination Ctl-Shft-F2, instead of running my action Photoshop changes the Color Theme as if I had gone to Preferences and selected Interface>Appearance>Color Theme.  I run the dark interface and it always changes it to the lighter Color Theme.  That seems to be the only F Key conbination that has this problem.  I have selected another F Key combination to run the action that was assigned to that F Key combination.  I wanted to make you aware of this problem.  By the way The Beta version also does this and has been for quite some time, but only showed up in the regular Photoshop with the latest release.  Thank you for your help.

Hi, does anybody knows how to remove horizontal banding caused by LED lighting when we shooted using silent mode with mirrorless cameras ?does you know a method using Photoshop to do this? Or a photoshop or lightroom plug-in that works for this problem? this is an example of the problem:Picture was taken with a Sony A6300 digital camera.

I have an issue where, when I first open Photoshop I can open a .NEF and work on it, but when i close that image and try to open another, I get an error. If I shut Photoshop down and restart, I can repeat that. Opens one, won't open any more. I found a document about issues opening files on Adobe.com and one recommendation was to clear preferences. I tried that and it worked... until I shut down Photoshop and restarted it again. Then I was back to square 1.  Newly opened: will open 1 .NEF but no more.Newly opened with cleared preferences: will open unlimited .NEF files (whether I reset the preferences to how I like them or not)Needless to say, it's a royal pain to have to reset my preferences every time I want to work on a set of photos.Oh, and both Photoshop and Camera RAW have been updated twice since this problem started, with no effect on the issue.Any advise is appreciated.

It's no wonder there have been a few threads here about printing from macOS Sequoia.   I'm not an early adopter, meaning my main Mac is still on macOS Ventura and, mainly, PS24, so I've not experienced this printing issue.. But, today I experienced the Sequoia/Photoshop 25 print pipeline issue we've been hearing about here. I wonder about macOS Sonoma too now.    In Photoshop's print process, I prefer to use Photoshop Manages Color and select the ICC profile myself - meaning that, now, I just need to go to the Print Settings (which opens the Epson or Canon etc. print driver), and, there, under Printer Options/Print Settings I select the media type and also check that in the Color Matching section the options are greyed out - with Colorsync selected [here, as below, the options should be greyed, because selecting Photoshop Manages Color tells the driver to disable color management].      What's the issue with printing?Selected options within

I would love if you offered additional justify text wrap options, such as the "magic" wrap you recently removed from Express for some reason. I hate having to manually resize each line of text and the space between each line. It's time-consuming.

Hi everyone,I'm facing an issue with Photoshop running noticeably laggy and sluggish, even though I’m using a high-end PC setup. Tasks like moving layers, using brushes, or even zooming in/out are lagging, which is affecting my workflow significantly. For 1-2 months now my Photoshop suddenly started acting weird. On each fresh open, when I load a pic, in the first 1-2 minutes it's extremely laggy and unusable. After those mins it's back to normal again.This only happens if I load a pic, and I have to stay in Photoshop and wait, if I switch to another program it doesn't resolve in the background. This is so bizarre and I can't pinpoint what's causing this. Memory and scratch disk are normal - I have 64GB RAM and 400GB free on both scratch disks, but also this only happens on the first image I load, if I load other images they don't make it lag. Edit: I just completely reinstalled the newest version of Photoshop, no plugins, nothing... and same issue persists...

Sometimes I copy a Photoshop file into a new file. That changes the creation date of the original file to the date of the new file. I want to edit the creation date so that it is the creation date of the original file it was copied from.Is that possible and if so, how would I be able to do that?

I don't understand why resizing this layer would not trickle to all frames, screenshots below.   Now see screenshot below, why is the rectangle not moving correctly with the text on this next frame?

Um CS6 auf einem neuen Computer (Windows 11) aktivieren zu können, habe ich den alten Desktop vorgestern deaktiviert: "Deactivation Successful - You may now use CS6 Production Premium on another computer." Aber wenn ich versuche, den neuen Desktop zu aktivieren, bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung, dass die maximale Anzahl an Aktivierungen erreicht sei (was ja definitiv nicht stimmt - zwei Aktivierungen waren immer Teil der Lizenz). Der 'KI-Assistent' ist kein Bischen hilfreich bei diesem Problem und weigert sich, mich mit echten Mitarbeiter*innen zu verbinden, da mit meiner Adobe-ID kein aktives Produkt verknüpft sei. Hi, I'm trying to print a document on a4 paper and my adobe photoshop file is a4, and I need it to be excatly the same size as it is on the computer, but when I press print it's way to big. I did some research and it's pretty unclear but it might have something to do with pixels or resolution? Any help would be greatly appreciatedThanks

Recently Photoshop (latest CC update) failed to load. It errors when it tries to load the color settings with the error, "Could not initialize Photoshop because the ICC profile is invalid." I've reinstalled the program several times, set different ICC defaults and more. It still won't work. How can I fix this?

I received my ICC profile for my Epson Sublimation printer from my ink provider, but it does not change my colours when I select it on my printer settings.  Can anyone help?  I have deleted my old ICC profile and replaced with the new.  Could something be clashing or photoshop blocking it.  I never had a problem before.

I need to crop an image to a certain ratio.I saved the preset, but whenever I try to use it, it's available, but it in the landscape position; I need it in portrait.It is available if I click the option to switch between them, but can it be saved without me doing this?Why is the default the landscape orientation?

Just installed PS 26.9.0. After 34 popups, I could finally work and dragged a 4k jpg into a 4k PSD file. It opens smaller. While it actually says 100%.Turns out that it reads the PPI size (pixels/inch) instead of the actual PIXEL size....So now I have to open separately, then copy and paste........ REALLY? Still no "fit" "fill" and "pixel to pixel" options? You can't be serious, Adobe... 😭 Thousands of emplyees and none thinking of simple workflow improvements?... In settings, disabling "skip transform when placing", "Resize image during place" and "Always create smart objects when placing" made NO difference. It opens smaller. Period. (edit: changed DPI to PPI as I meant PPI)

Seitdem habe ich ein sehr nerviges Problem:Immer wenn ich jetzt Fotos öffne – egal welches Format (JPG, RAW, etc.) oder von welcher Kamera (Nikon, iPhone, Canon, Sony) – erscheint untenstehendes Dialogfenster.Das Problem:Dieses Fenster taucht für jedes einzelne Bild separat auf.Beispiel:Wenn ich 1 Foto öffne, muss ich das Fenster einmal bestätigen.Wenn ich 10 Fotos auf einmal öffne, erscheint das Fenster 10 Mal – für jedes Bild separat.Früher konnte man dieses Verhalten irgendwo in den Einstellungen deaktivieren, aber ich finde die Option nach der Neuinstallation nicht mehr.Hat jemand eine Idee, wie man das wieder abschalten kann?Bin für jeden Tipp dankbar! 

The Photo Restoration filter inside the Neural Filters is temporarily disabled due to an error. I'm currently running macOS Ventura 13.0 and Photoshop 24.0. Is there a fix for this, or will I need to wait for a PS dot update? Thanks!John

Is it not in photoshop CS6? This is especially frustrating because this is one of the most important parts of the tutorial and I've been working on this for hours only to find that Glowing Edges is missing. Please help! By the way, I'm using the free 30-day trial.
