How can I get the same effect on an image that's used in the attached photo?Any assistance is greatly appreciated.Thanks,Peter

I just installed Ps production rel. 27.6. The release notes suggested I should be able to use partner models with Reference Images. I cannot get that to work (Win 11). I’ve tried a few different approaches with different images (I select an area of my image, download a ref image, in that dialog box say I want the object to be used and swapped into the selected area on my main image). I’m not able to use any partner models in that process. The only way for me to get a Generate option that works is with the new Firefly Fill and Expand model. Did I misunderstand that partner models should work also? If so, can someone pls detail the steps to get them to work using Reference Images? Thx in advance!

I cannot get Generative Fill to work properly.   I’ve done this hundreds of times before but now for some reason it isn’t working.  I used the object tool in lasso mode to select the branch above the bird, clicked on generative fill without any text in the box and this is what I got.  And like I said, I’ve used this hundreds of times in the past with zero issues with the same exact process. Any ideas on how to rectify this?  I would really appreciate the help! 

how do i remove the intrusive  “send to firefly boards’ which is an option inconveniently placed right next to export  “file to web” ?  is this 1984 ? am i the only one who finds this new option a covert attempt to monitor content created in a program that one is charged nearly $70 a month to use ? hmmm?  if one accidentally chooses that option, which has happened numerous times ,  forcing me  to  take the time away from my work to go to the firefly boards and delete the file, twice... Oh and btw if you accidentally choose “send file to firefly boards”,  and then attempting to cancel ? forget it … it never ever cancels ...never, it just sends the file to the firefly boards anyway . WHY HAVE THE OPTION TO CANCEL ,WHEN CANCEL IS  COMPLETELY SUPERFLUOUS ? 

I try to use “save as” on an image in Photoshop (V27.7) and the “Save to cloud” option is greyed out. I am trying out the Firefly boards and need to save as a specific format - I am unable to do this.

I bought a new laptop a few months ago: a Lenovo LOQ 15IRX10 (15.6", Intel i7, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD). It is a good laptop with solid performance, but since I bought it I have been unable to work properly with Camera Raw in Photoshop.The main problem is that every time I try to edit a photo in Camera Raw, the whole system freezes. Photoshop suddenly closes, and sometimes the computer even shuts down completely.Adobe Support told me that the issue is probably related to the laptop itself.I have already tried everything I could think of:installed all Windows updates, including optional updates; downloaded and installed the latest Nvidia drivers from the official Nvidia website for my Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU; selected the Nvidia GPU inside Camera Raw preferences; changed the BIOS settings so that the system uses only the Nvidia RTX 5050 graphics processor instead of integrated graphics.Unfortunately, nothing solved the issue. Hi. My tool "Object selection" doesn't work. I changed option to More Stable in the image preferences, I updated GPU driver, I reinstaled Photoshop and I even tried to instal Beta version of Photoshop. Nothing has worked so far. As soon as you switch to the object selection tool, the "people detection" wheel starts spinning in the top menu. However, the tool is unable to complete this detection, and as a result, I believe direct selection doesn't work either. Can anyone help? I have Photoshop 27.6.0.My system info:Processor: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900HX (2.20 GHz)RAM: 32,0 GBGPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU (8 GB)Intel(R) UHD Graphics (128 MB)

On my work machine, the PS 2026 won't upscale using any of the three models avaialbe. They all produce a new file at the size chosen with the "Original" as the bottom layer, and the layer above that is supposed to be the upscaled version is just a black layer with a layer mask. The actual image is just a flat black color. When I try this on my personal version at home, it works as intended. What gives? 

Whenever I create a fade in Photoshop where the dark values range between RGB (0,0,0) and (20,20,20) and gradually transition to white, the gradient becomes discoloured and appears brown in the midtones. It should display only shades of gray. How can I remove the brown tint? Desaturation does not help.

Can't expoert multiple images as layers from LR Classic to Photoshop 2026 after latest upgrade.  I can however export a single image.  There have been no hardware changes and it has always worked before.When I attempt an export it switches over to Photoshop, which is already open, I see the scrolling circle for about 4 seconds and it then just sits there and is functional.  Same thing if Photoshop is closed, it opens and just sits there and is fully functional.

In the latest version of Photoshop (26.8.1), when I use the "Rectangular Marquee Tool (M)" to make a selection, under Style, I don't see the "Fixed Proportion" or "Fixed Size" options. I see "Generate Image" or "Import Image," but I can't select them either. There seems to be some kind of bug in that version.I've reverted to Photoshop version 26.8.0 and it works fine.Mac Mini M4 with 32 GB of RAM. Mac OS Sequoia 15.1.1. Spanish version from Spain.

Photoshop Ver 27.6 is giving me this error saying it cannot load measurment scale presets. I can open old files but if I save them or make a new copy I cannot open them again. How do I fix this?

So, it’s been 29 months and no iPad feature updates. Is iPad Photoshop DEAD? Alternatives = Luminar and Pixelmator Pro.

Crop tool isn’t working already for a week. It’s unresponsive.

I sign in & it shows how many photos I have uploaded, but it wont let me do anything. in the upper right it has a sign in button again, so I try to sign in again & it says “you’re all set” each time I sign in. The times that it did fully sign in & let me see my photos, it crashed as soon as I tried to edit.

Is there anyway to stop Photoshop zooming from say 400% to 12800%?? - Which is both annoying and ridiculous. I think the problem is cause by a slight movement on the magnifying tool on a click and it uses that vector as a magnification level - even though I've got Flick Panning, Zoom with Scroll Wheel, animated Zoom, Zoom resises Window and Zoom clicked Point to Centre turned off. Here's a cut-down animated gif of the video:

Opened file or files, lasso select the photo part a layer with alpha mask on it. Hit select and maskWindows  system service exception pops up on screen, computer resets. Cleared prefs, updated drivers and software like camera raw - no fixesSeems like a memory leak on PS end. The rest of the program works fine for me. Specs:x870E GodlikeRyzen 9 9950x256 gig of ram2x rtx 4090swindows 11 

When I try to open photoshop it prompts me with “quit unexpectedly” and I am unable to even access the settings within the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and Im still getting the same result. I have done the same with creative cloud as well and nothing is working. I am on the lates version of photoshop and my computer is fully updated as well.  

As someone who has used Photoshop for years I have had no issues with the line tool. But today I need help to stop coloured lines changing brightness when they move to dark and light areas.

Watch the movie to see the tool begin to set up the rotation dialog, but then stops, displays a popup that one could infer means I’m out of credits. CC>view balance fails with message, “Unable to load selection - Retry.” 

Since updating to 27.6.0, the font list shows several strange active Adobe Fonts. I’ve never used or heard of any of these fonts, and don’t intend to use them.I don’t use Adobe Fonts and have the service disabled in the CC app, I’ve also cleared font caches for CC app, Ps app, and my font manager (Typeface) which also has Adobe Font import disabled.Anyone know why these are suddenly appearing even though I have Adobe Fonts service completely disabled?Mac Studio 22, Tahoe 26.5
