Hi,    I'm hoping somebody with more experience than I will be able to suggest how I solve a problem I have. I am cropping photos for a 6 x 4 photo frame and I want the person in the photo to be a certain size (13.1cm) so it shows nicely in the frame (I have 200 of these to do - and want them all to be the same). I've played around with rulers and grids but its still a hit or miss. I'd ber extremely grateful if one of the experts on here could suggest a process to do this please.Many thanksChris

I have photoshop elements downloaded on my desktop. I would like to have it on my laptop as well. Is that a possibility? If so, how do I go about downloading it to my laptop?Message title was edited by: Brett N

After I start PSE2022 Organizer the mouse pointer disappears.  It reappears from time to time when I do something else, but then disappears when I try to use PSE2022.  I have updraded from PSE 2020 to 2022.  I did not ans still do not have this problem with PSE2020.  Also, I have used PSE2022 for a few days without this happening.  I have researched a bit and fixing the task bar has been stated as a solution, but mine is already fixed. I have also seen a regedit suggesting but surely that can't be a solution.

I recently bought an IMac 24 M1 and reloaded Phototshop Elements 2020.  I have over 10,000 photos in my primary photos folder.  When I start and use the Organizer scrolling through gallery is frustratingly slow. I try and scroll with Mac wireless mouse and it lags regardless of the direction.  I have to scroll really slowly to allow time for the scroll respond or catch up.  I've tried tons of solutions with nosuccess. Any ideas on what I should do next.  

Hallo, ich habe mir vor Kurzem Photoshop Elements 2022 gekauft. Hauptsächlich möchte ich Fotokollagen erstellen. Ich lade also Bilder hoch und drücke dann auf "Erstellen" und dann auf "Fotokollage". Das geht bis dahin auch super und ich bekomme eine schöne Kollage. Gerne würde ich sie in DIN A4 drucken. Dies bekomme ich nicht hin und trotz Druckeinstellung DIN A4 wird die Kollage nur in 10x15 gedruckt. Änder ich die Druckgröße auf "Benutzerdefiniert" fehlt entweder ein Stück meiner Kollage oder ein weißer Rand bleibt. Ich habe schon viel gegoogelt und heraus bekommen, dass bei den alten Versionen das Thema der Kollage und die Größe vorab erfragt wurde und einzustellen war. Leider bin ich total neu und unerfahren. Vielleicht kann mir einer helfen? Dabke !

Needed a new C Drive - got one - yet my pictures & albums did not get transferred. I was told that the pictures & albums was not on my C Drive but in my Elements 2019 software. How do you get those pictures and albums?

I have opened up an existing PSD file I created in an older version of Photoshop Essentials. I can add text to the image but the Layer option in the Windows pull down menu is greyed out (as are many other options). I can select Layers on the image but no Layers tab shows up at the top right of the program area. Is there something I need to do to get this work?

I have many b/w group photos and when I colourise them the colour is ok on the right but fades to b/w on the left. How can I overcome this problem?

I got out my old Elements 12 discs to install on my Mac Pro running Mojave. The validation step says "Connect to the internet" and obviously I am. How do I fix this? Secondly, I attempted to register my serial on my profile and it said my serial is already in use!! How do I get this old copy working again? I can't afford the newest stuff (which is why I'm still using a Mac Pro on Mojave)!

Ich kann bei meiner neuen Sony A7 IV keine RAW Bilder in Photoshop Elements beaarbeiten. offensichtlich gibt es noch immer kein Update 😞  . Bei fast allen anderen Bearbeitungsprogrammen, gibt es keinerlei Probleme. Bin echt enttäuscht von PS.

I just upgraded from PSe v9 to v2022 on Mac.  How do I set the blank workspace to transparent, so I can see all the files and folders underneath?  This is NOT about transparent backgrounds in images.  The old v9 did this by default.  If I launch PSe 2022 with no images, I get the whole screen covered with a grey workspace.  Annoying!

I have an old photoshop elements 10 that will not work on my new Imac24. Is i possible to upgrade, or do I need to get a new license

Can you mask part of the image when making changes in RAW files? Often I want to make changes to just part of the image - say to everything but faces in the photo. 

I'm runing Windows 10 Home on an HP Laptop - Bridge 12 0 1 246 and have installed PS, PSE 2022, PSE 2021 & PSE 2020 and Bridge 2020, 2021 & 2022. 1.  If I click once on a photo in Bridge it automatically opens in PS (which I do not want).  How do I stop this behavior of automatically opening PS (or any other program)?  I want to "view" my photos in the pre-installed Windows "Photo" program.  If I want to edit the photo, I want to specifically choose one of my PS or PSE programs with which to edit the photo.  I do not want the photos to ever automatically open in a PS or PSE Editor with a single or even a double click.2.  If I R-click to choose a program with which to open the photo I am only given PS or PSE 2020.  I'm not even given a "Browse for other options" choice. If I choose "Edit" > "Preferences" > "File Type Associations" and choose "Browse", it wants me to choose one in my (C:).  I wish to add the choice of P

Hi. I have bought Photoshop Elements 13 on a disc and have been using it for several years. I have it activated on two computers. A couple of weeks ago a window showed up every time I opened the program. The window said that program has been activated for more than two computers and that I need to deactivate another computer in order to run the program on this computer. I have not activated the program on another computer. I could still use the program but now I can't use the program anymore because of this. How do I deactivate the program on other computers if I don't know which computer it is? I have the disc and the serial number. Previous post on the forum says that you should be able to fix things similar to this if you go to the help menu but I can't find any way to go to the help menu. The windows pops up when I start the program and I can't access the program to change the settings of the program.

I have a mix of 12,000 photos and Videos residing on OneDrive.  (1TB storage with Office365).When I use the trial version of Organizer (that comes with Elements 2022) - it fails after about 50% of the way through a bulk import.  (I have purchased Elements but not applied key yet as I wanted to be sure all was working ok).Thumbnails appear for those items processed but when I try again (and again...) to run the bulk import - it just keeps either hanging or Organizer screen stops altogether and it goes back to the initial splash screen that Elements displays (where organizer can be started from initially).I tried turning off AntiVirus and stopping facial recognition scanning - but still hangs/fails.System is a Windows 11 laptop with i9, 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD.Windows fully up to date.Any help greatly appreciated.ThanksTony

Hello all,I'm using PSE 2022. Is there a possibility to search for freely selectable IPTC keywords? The PSE menu <Search>  <Details (metadata)> offers a search criteria "Keyword-Tags", which only provides a list of all the Tags I've defined before.Best regards, Jürgen  

I have a licenced copy of Elements 14 (I verified this on my Adobe account).  Now when I start it up, I get a screen telling me that my "Free Trial" has expired.  There is no free trial!  I bought and paid for this product. How do I get around this? Thanks
