I am using an old version of Adobe Photoshop Elements which does not have the textstyle Imprint MT Shadow. What about the latest version of the program?

I usually have no problem reconnecting files, however it has become a big problem lately. The error says "cannot reconnect file" "file already in catalog". I have browsed and found the other file, but it still will not reconnect. Dreadful ? mark will not go away.

I have used 8 for many years.  I just got 2021 because I got a new computer.  I've had a stroke so things are a little slow but I can't get it to do what I want done.  In 8 under expert I could click and it would show several things I could do.  I used this alot.  It had a color bar and colorization bar that I could adjust.  Now I don't know how to get to that.  I don't know how to get to where I can change the color of a scrapbook paper.  Can someone help me? 

I’ve been using the Elements Organizer in various versions going back to Photoshop Album some twenty-ish years ago in different computer generations.  For years now, I’ve had a PSE 6 catalog, which has worked fine.  Now, I am trying to move that PSE 6 Catalog from a Windows 7 computer to PSE 2021 on a Win10 computer.  I did this via backup and restore. I started by reconnecting, optimizing and repairing the PSE 6 catalog on the old computer before running backup.  All well. The problem came with the restore on the new computer (to an external HD).  I’ve tried two different ways to restore, but both are creating problems. If I allow PSE to flatten the folder structure down to the final folder, then the new catalog comes out messed up.  This is because many of the final folders had the same name even though under different trees.  For example, I might have had a final “good” folder under a “2010 10 07” folder and a “2010 11 09” folder, et

I have Photoshop Elements 8 but it will not start, I keep getting the error message about some licensing issue. I've tried the suggestion others with the same problem have gotten, but the Adobe Licensing Repair Tool does not work. I downloaded it and started it up but it just froze. I think the tool itself is outdated too.I'm working on a Mac.Any help would be great.

I recently purchased a new laptop, an HP Envy x360 with a 15 inch screen and a 1920 x 1080 resolution. I noticed while working on an image in photoshop elements (2021) today that the image appearing in the program at 100% scale was significantly smaller than what the actual file is. then realized that everything in my photoshop is pretty small. Icons, fonts, etc.When looking for solutions I attempted:Went to Photoshop > Properties > Compatibility > Change Settings for All Users > Change high DPI Settings > Checked Override high DPI scaling behavior + changed scaling performance to System. This only made everything blurry and awful. Went into my computer's system settings for Display > Scale and Layout and it is currently set to 125% which is comfy for everything else that I use on the computer. When I changed it to 150%, everything on my computer became way too big, and everything in Photoshop remained the same size. (Too small.)When I changed the

I am having a problem importing photos using my HP Scanner.  Scanning is not working and Elements software totally freezes up.  I have to shut down computer to restart anything. 

It won't open and gives me an Error 150:30 message. What is this? How do I fix it? 

The Organiser will not accept imports from my Samsung S21Ultra phone if I'm using the high-resolution jpeg mode which gives images of c37mb each; it's fine with all other modes including dng files. Anyone-else noticed this or could offer suggestions?

Elements Organizer 2019 freezes or crashes when trying to back up the catalog. When preparing, It calculates a media size of 158,670.10 MB (159 GB?, seems high), then appears to start the backup. Full Backup selected, "Please wait while Elements Organizer prepares for backup..." panel appears, but after this point Organizer either freezes or crashes (up to 30 minutes).  Any thoughts?

When I want to make a (full) backup with the Organizer, the program crashes. The message is that Elements Organizer prepares the backup ...The size of the files that are needed, is apparently 1,5 TB, while my external drive has 2,7 TB. What can I do? 

I select an album, its sequence is, by default, 'Album'.I then edit the location of some pictures in it under the Places tab and then return to the Media tab. The picture sequence now is 'Newest'. Is this a bug?

In my version of PE 2020, focus stacking is not possible. I would  like to know if the next version 2022 that will definitely be released at the end of this year will be able to do this? Suppose that since many cameras can now run bracketing, this will not be an unnecessary luxury. Does anyone know more?

I thinking about doing a photo book for a friend who has Dementia, a "memory book". I don't want it to look cheap and tacky so I'm really looking to "pick folks brains". For instance what would be the best paper to print it on and are there any tips you could pass on that would make the task feel less daunting.

Hello Can someone help me - I have Adobe PS Elements 2021 and Premiere elements 2021-bought as a package - I am trying to create a slideshow - it will create but it will not let me click on the icons to do any kind of edits to theme, or music, or let me add any captions.  Any ideas, I thought with the one I bought I could do this.  I do not have the auto curate button selected - I pick my pics then do the create slide show and it will generate  - just will not let me do anything to it.  I am going in the the organizer.ThanksShelley

I am a lecturer in photography for the University of the Third Age and am including in my courses a section on photo editing.  Based on feeback from my previous courses most student do not want to go to full Photoshop cloud subscription intially but would rather start with Photoshop Elements.  I want two simple things from Adobe.  One, a PDF of a simple introduction to Photoshop and Elements, giving on outline of how to do some simple things.  I do NOT want on line sites or videos.  I want to give the participants a PDF.  Secondly when I demonstrate I need to know what the full Photoshop will do that Elements won't do - I don't want to demnstrate something using Photoshop that Elements won't do.  I do have an old version of Elements I used before I upgraded to my Cloud subscription, but am sure there will be significiant imp;rovements to Elements since V10.  I have made these requests repeatedly to the on line support centre and just got a run ar
