I'm having issues with Premiere Elements 2020. I still have Premiere Elements 15 on my computer and on some of my compilations, when I try to save them to an iso file in Elements 2020, it says the file is too big but my Elements 15 doesn't have any problems making it into an iso file. I'll save the whole project in Elements 15 and then open it in 2020, won't change anything, and 2020 says the file is too big. Has anyone else encountered this?
For a couple of days I am getting a message upon opening Premiere Elements Editor that a new Update 2021.1 is available (see screenshot below). And when I try to do so, I am informed that there is no App to open URL "auphd://update? ..." and that the Update-Manager could not be started (see second screenshot). Then the programme freezes. I can only get out of this by entering control + esc, which is enervating after a while.Friendly Adobe Support told me, yes, there could be a little problem with the macOS Big Sur (which ineed was updated to version 11.2 - and after that I had the problem - coincidence??) so the best thing to do would be to uninstal the programme, download the new version and start again. Unfortunately this does not work either. Same problem as before!!Does anybody have a clever idea how to overcome this nuisance or do I have to wait until Adobe find a solution for Big Sur? It would already help, if I could suppress the Update Notification somehow. I do not really need
i am trying to load a previously created project file for export in elements 2021. i have had no problems downloading it before but now i get a box saying file is not supported codec not loaded. on the box to select a file are buttons "skip", "skip all", "offline" and "offline all". these are files ripped from a dvd I recorded off the tv and all the others i have done worked fine. and these worked before. any idea what may have happened? When starting a new Project in Premier Elements and select settings (NTSC and PAL). How do you know what PAL or NTSC settings your MP4 file is recored in? We are using GoPro Hero6 and we can see (choose NTSC or PAL) and we can se file format MP4 but then, what PAL format should you import your MP4 file in? There is a bunch of different PAL settings (AVCHD, DSLR, DV etc). We are living i Europe so PAL settings apply we assume. [Title edited by mod]
Hi, I'm using a new computer with an Intel i7-10700K, which comes with integrated graphics (Intel UHD 630 Graphics) and Premiere Elements. According to Adobe's supported GPU web page, the Intel 630 Graphics are supported under Elements. My problem is that these Intel UHD 630 Graphics do not appear under the option "Preferences - GPU acceleration". Is there a workaround for this?. I would also like to know if I buy a Nvidia Geforce 1030 2GB fanless, I would notice any improvement in performance. I know that this GPU is not listed in the compatibility list for GPU. Best regards.
Recently I bought a Browning Spec Ops Edge Model BTC-8E wildlife camera, which records videos on MP4 format. When I edit videos from it using APE 11 I hear a repetitive "chugging" sound at 3 or 4 beats per second that wasn't on the original video. The Browning's the fourth trail camera I've owned but the only one where I've encountered this phenomenon when using APE. Has anyone else had this problem, please, and if so is there a solution?
I have been using Premier Elements 13 for some time and recently, some videos I have placed on the timeline are split in half horizontally across the screen, with a bright green colour. The imported files are all of the same format and this appears random, as it doesn't happen to them all. I can't work out how to get rid of it.On the odd one, rendering removes the green, which takes the lower half of the screen. But if I try to insert text, the green appears again. Its a puzzle and I have had to abandon using some clips as I can't resolve it. I would welcome any suggestions as to how to stop it.Kind regards
Just upgraded to PE19, and a must have feature I use daily (Dual Monitors) is broken?!? 😞As you can see above, the "undo redo organizer home" menu covers ALL of the essential controls shown below.Does anyone know how to remove that "undo redo" menu, or fix it so it doesn't cover the timeline in dual monitor mode?
Installed Adobe Premiere Elements early February 2021 in a Windows 10 with 64bit environment and 8GB RAM. Used Premiere Elements to edit two movies. No problem. Now, today February 9th, this forced update 2021.1 pops up and freezes. Clicking the install button does nothing. My whole Windows 10 is frozen. The only way out is with the Task Manager (Ctl+Alt+Del) and stop Premiere.Premiere Elements has become unusable. Help ! Your "Support - Contact Us" button does not work. Adobe becomes notorious with inactive "install" and "contact us" buttons !! HELP !!!
We are happy to announce the release of Premiere Elements 2020.1. This is a bug-fix update and is recommended for all users. Here's what's fixed. You can install the update in one of the following ways: Click Install Now or Install On Exit in the update message displayed in Premiere Elements. If the Elements update message doesn't appear, choose Help > Updates. NOTE: The version number of the app remains the same while the build number is updated.
Is there a way in PE 2021 to create a .jpg from an MP4 clip?I noted the "Freeze Frame" feature of PE and wonder if that might lead to that outcome?
Due to a problem in my PC (Windows 10) I have to re install Premiere Elements 10. I have succesfully completed the installation using the original DVD. But when I choose "Open a Project" or "New Project" the system ask me to type the serial number. When I finished entering the number (the correct one) a message says: "this number is not valid for this product". Any suggestion? Many Thanks

How to Set Interlaced Field Order: Upper/Top FF or Lower/Bottom FF? I’ve captured VHS interlaced video using a USB D-to-A Converter, VirtualDub software, UT Video lossless-compression codec, container AVI. Testing within VirtualDub, I can see that most capture projects are field order Top/Upper Field First; a couple are Bottom/Lower Field First. I am aware that Premier Elements is supposed to recognize the Project Settings of the first clip added to the video timeline and automatically set the project accordingly. And with some test videos this works. But I have found this NOT to be the case with my VHS-to-digital AVI captures. The Project Settings from the first clip on the timeline function does NOT work; more precisely, it always sets the project to (the default) 1920x1080 progressive. Of course this is very wrong for my VHS 4:3, 720x480 projects. To address the issue, before loading my video-capture file, I go to the dialog for New Project>Change Settings. M
My computer is built to exceed Adobe Premiere Elements requirements, and yet I don't have very smooth video previews when editing. This makes editing very difficult. I mostly edit videos from my cell phone (Pixel 4, 1920x1080, 30 fps, MP4). I've noticed that video from some of my other cameras preview much better. I'm wondering if converting my videos to a different format before editing would help. If so, what format? Or could something else be going on? Do I have too many videos loaded? I often work with 100 clips for a total length of 4 hours. Thank you,
My assets are named with the format "Video-1", "Video-2", etc. When I view them, they show up Video-1, followed by Video 10 thru 19, then Video 2, followed by Video 20-29. Any ideas how to fix that?
PROBLEM: We cannot access the properties for a frame in the Pan and Zoom window in order to change the Pan Duration or Hold Time for frames in a video clip. How do we access these properties for a frame? BACKGROUND: We are working with a video clip, not a photograph, and are able to create the frames we need, at the locations we need, using the Pan and Zoom tool. The manual infers that we can change the Pan Duration or Hold Time for any frame by clicking on the respective elements in the frame. Unfortunately, we cannot seem to bring up the frame properties dialog by either left or right clicking with the mouse. Nor can we find any other way to access these settings for the frame by clicking on the Timeline markers. Another anomaly is that the manual indicates we can re-arrange frame markers on the Pan and Zoom timeline by dragging the marker. When we clic
I called the support # and they say that they can't help me with Adobe Premiere Elements 8 Error 150:30.I checked and I don't have enough RAM to purchase the 2021 version of the software. I am using Windows 10 on a desktop computer. What can you do to help rectify this error?
Hi,I'd like to cut a Video wich is 480x848 - so it's upright, but I don't see any option to do that. Always when I import the Video, it's converted to 640x480 with black borders. Can you create multiple picture-in-picture videos within Elements? Is there any limit?
I am using Premiere Elements version 19.0 (20210127.daily.2235820) on a PC running Windows 10 Pro 20H2. I spent a considerable amount of time editing a video, masking out various faces using a combination of track matte and the mosaic effect on a video layer containing a shape object. I had no problem during the initial edit, but when I go back in to make changes, several days later, although the effects are present on playback, the mosaic effect no longer shows up in the "Edit FX" panel, all I see is Motion and Opacity. In addition, when I go to create a new text layer with a shape, apply the mosaic effect and track matte, the effect does not actually get applied to the output video, at least in preview. Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this issue?
Brace yourselves. This is a long one. I suppose I should begin my laying some cards on the table. I wrote my first mouse-based graphical editing program in 1978 on an obscure machine known as the Three Rivers Perq. In 1978 this machine was like something that had fallen through a wormhole from another galaxy. It was also the Cambrian Era of graphics software – the basic grammar of the UI was up for grabs and all sorts of weird things evolved. As a result people started to look seriously at human-machine interfaces and came up with rules about how they should behave. To prevent this become my personal rant I looked up some of these rules and found this great article written by a guy called Nick Babich from a company called Adobe. He opens by saying “The user interface (UI) is a critical part of any software product. When it’s done well, users don’t even notice it. When it’s done poorly, users can’t get past it to efficiently use a product”.He goes on
