I’m using Adobe Premiere Elements 15, and I’m facing a problem with the sound of a converted movie file. I have sound, but no voice or dialogue when I put a video on a timeline. Everything is working great with the file itself, but when I try to edit on a timeline - I barely can hear voices, only background sounds and music. It's like the program automatically doing that. But in some parts the voices are heard fine, but most of the time not. The program's player doesn't have that issue, It happens only if I try to edit video (put it on timeline) I converted the file from MKV to MP4. In a previous forum topic, another user with the same problem solved it. He wrote: “I fixed the problem by reinstalling my codecs. I don't mix several tracks, only two - video an
I have an image with some blue screen areas.Premiere removes the blue, as intended.I put three videos behind the still image, and size and position them to show up in the 'holes' where the blue patches were.In Premiere everything looks right when I run the video. When I export the video (custom export the same size as the initial image 720 x 540), the videos behind the image have all moved randomly. What I tried to fix it.I tried starting again from scratch; same problem.Shut down and restarted Premiere.Rebooted Windows 10.I tried a different formats (WMV and AVI).I tried adding only one of the videos behind the image, but exporting also moved the video behind the image so it was out of place.

How do I load my Gopro 7 videos into Premiere Elements 2019? Windows 10 64bit....It just says no supported Codec...how could adobe not include that?
Is it possible to render 4k in 60fps using Adobe premiere elements 12? My subscription to premiere pro CC ran out and I can't afford to renew it at this time, so I'm trying to use my old Premiere elements 12 for the editing I have been doing lately. I have tried the following:But when I change the frame rate to 59.94fps, I get the following error:But as you can see in the first screenshot, the profile and level are already as high as they go. I get the same error if I change to square pixels or check the "Render at Maximum Depth" box, not sure if those are expected to help. I have also tried reducing the profile and level, which may sound counter intuitive, but just to see if that could possibly work I've tried it and it doesn't seem to work. Thanks,Derek
Hey!I've been using Premiere Elements 14 for a couple years and I've never had this problem for more than an hour. It's been 3 days and I can't get Premiere Elements to stop a severe lag in editing as well as huge export times. It's said anywhere from 3 days to 18 hours to 2 hours for small files. I'm going a little nuts because I work from home & using Elements is a big part of my job! Help so appreciated.I have updated Windows, my GeForce driver, and just upgraded to Premiere Elements 15 as well. Not quite sure what I should be putting here to help but here are some specs: Intel{R] Core [TM} i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHzInstalled RAM: 16.0 GBSystem type 64-bit osWindows 10Thank you!
I have made a video outdoors on a beautiful day with bright sunshine and fluffy clouds. Every time a cloud passes by, the picture goes darker, when the sun reappears, the video looks great. Is there any way to prevent the great difference in the 'brightness' or 'exposure' (whichever is relevant)? Or once it is recorded, can it be adjusted--like maybe a video gain effect?
Hi,I’m a total newbie to video editing and Premiere Elements (I just installed Premiere Elements 2019). I’ve created four very small projects so far, so I’m still coming up to speed. Here’s my problem:In the monitor panel, the Play/Pause button does not work. The Fast-forward button does not work. The Rewind button does not work .In short, I cannot preview the movie inside Premiere Elements. The Step Forward and Step Back buttons works fine. The Go To Next Edit Point and Go To Previous Edit Point buttons work fine. The CTI seems to work fine.Since I cannot play the movie from within PE, I can’t monitor the audio using the Audio Mixer tool. When I export the movie to an MP4 everything looks fine, the MP4 file plays normally using Windows Media Player. Are these controls dependent on the type of media files I used in the project. I’ve used video clips from an iPhone 6. One of my projects uses only JPEG still photos, a slide show with narration. Can anyone help?Is this related to the Project
Hello,I have been trying to add QuickTime videos (.MOV) to my Adobe Elements 14 Video Editor. It allows me to temporarily put it in the Project Assets, but then when I try to drag it into the timeline Adobe freezes and needs to shut down. I have deleted and re-downloaded the program, I have updated my Elements 14, and I have tried converting the videos into .MP4 and still no luck. I included screen shots of the errors I see when Adobe Video Editor is loading and when I try to add the video and it shuts down. I was able to create a beautiful slide show with both pictures and videos a few years ago no problem. What can I do?
Up to now I was pretty sure the program (Primer Elements 2018) was selecting the correct settings for my input.I am using a Panasonic Full HD HC-V770 camera,I have the choice of MP4/iFrame or AVCHDI have been using MP4/iFrame 1080 MP4 50mI have found little guidance as to what the correct format for producing GOOD quality YouTube videos. I have discovered that I can only do time lapse in AVCHD but have yet to try it.The same goes for out put, currently pick the Export & Share option and take what it gives me. I realize YouTube plays with the resolution, but would like to get what I can.I do not see a yellow orange line above my clip. If I check project settings it looks like Elements has set it up as AVCHD????How do I determine what settings I should be using?Latest video project, https://youtu.be/6ZyXcD8oGckThere is a setting on the camera that I have to go back and find for light in back of the object being filmed. I currently do manual white balance as if I let the camera
I created a Title as an overlay to the video. Rendered and exported an .mp4 file. When viewing that I noticed an "Add Text" item was left in the Title. Trying to edit it but Edit is grayed out. So is Duplicate. I hate to delete it and recreate it, so are they any options?
Using Adobe Premiere Element 15, I would like to move on the 18 or 19 version. How to ensure that I will not loose my numerus éditions ? Should I cancel first 15, then upgrade to 18 ? But this will delete all my work no ?
HelloI just recently purchased Photoshop Elements 2019 & Premiere Elements 2019 hard copies on DVD. I had this problem with the first DVD, had it replaced by vendor thinking it may be a disk problem. However the same problem happens on the second DVD. When I try to install Premiere Elements screen shows it cannot be installed "Error Code: 1". After the first problem I spend over two hours on "Adobe Chat" with no resolution. Is there a resolution to this problem? I know most people download software today, but being old school I still like hard copies. Thanks in advance, sorry this is so long, a bit frustrated!!
I am currently editing a video in Premier Elements 9 and whilst I was editing everything was going fine. I saved the project, waited a while, closed the window then shut my computer down. When I turned my computer on a few hours later and went back into the project I noticed that the audio track for the video was now no longer displaying the "squiggly lines" in the audio bar (audio bar was expanded to see these lines).I checked that my audio on my computer was up. It was, 100% volume.I checked the original video in my files and found that it had audio.I have not muted the audio nor have I separated it from the video.I also checked other projects and found that they did not suffer this audio loss. They all played the correct audio. What can cause this to happen and is there a fix that I can do to get the audio to work again or do I have to start all over with a new project?
1) This is a change, it used to only render when asked to do so. I would wait to the end of development of a video, and then render. Lately if I import, it renders, if I play back what I have, it says rendering required videos. Seems to be doing it piecemeal rather then waiting till I ask for it?2) I have 2018, is it worth it to go to 2019? Currently have problems with adobe not liking the NVIDA video cards and Adobe (many calls to adobe and NVIDA and Dell Pro Support). System is more that big enough to handle adobe, cards are more than enough processing, but still have problems. Software hangs every now and then, I can save my work and reboot.3) Is there a way to get a video to "snap back" to it's original size in the frame after you and "resized" the video (stretched or shrunk) in the viewing frame? Thanks
It would seem that the 2019 version of Premiere Elements that is relatively new would have a means to import HEVC.MOV files from an i-phone X without having to use a 3rd party software program, Is there a way within Elements to do this?
When I click on the box in Elements 2019 for the Video Editor, it comes up with the loading wheel and then that goes away without actually opening the video editor. I have the product installed and everything but it doesn't seem to want to work. Anyone know what to do?
Greetings!I have a GoPro Hero 7 Black and I have been recording in the 2.7K resolution 60 FPS. I have gotten the files off the camera onto my computer but I cannot import them into Premier Elements 9. The only thing that imports is the audio. When I encode it in Handbrake and bring it into Premier Elements 9, nothing really works. I appreciate the feedback.
Hello allWhen I download a file to Premier Elements 10 and put it into the timeline it plays OK but seems to be in the background. The pointer moves along and the sound is there but the screen image does not move. This is a recent development. I tried reinstalling but that did not help. My computer is new and has the requirements to run video editing. I hope this image helps. I am really stuck on this. Thanks in advanceBill
While editing and playing back the video player keeps stopping. I have to keep hitting the play button (or space bar) to keep it playing. This was not a problem before and I do not know if there is a setting to have it play continuously unless I hit the pause button. Help please! and Thanks.
When i play the vid as .prel file it works great. After I "export and share" areas where the audio and video ARE LINKED are no longer synced. Why? and how to do fix this?
I just got Adobe premiere elements 2019 for mac. When i import a video into a project, i just got the image but no sound. i tried with m2ts , wmv files. same problem.Could you help please?
When I place a music score on the timeline, it will often become corrupted. By corrupted, I mean there will be segments from a different score mixed in with the original. It seems to be related to changing the length of the content of one or more video clips either manually or by ’delete and close gap’ in the vicinity of the score. I have tried deleting the score and then placing it again, but corruption persists. It’s a show-stopper. Has anyone had this issue? and has anyone found a solution?
I have lost audio on all my video clips when playing on Elements 15. They still have audio when playing as normal video on TV or PC but when I want to play in Elements, no audio. I have recently installed the Microsoft photo app, as I wanted to convert file formats, could this be the problem?
