Questions

I'm currently using PSE9 and PSE2021 on the same Windows 10 computer. When I open my PSE2021 "Photoshop Premiere Elements Catalog" folder, I see that it contains the folders of images that I've imported. Following those, there is a folder called "Photoshop Elements Catalog" (dated 10/27/2013 -- I have no idea where that date came from): Can you tell me where this came from and what it is used for? And a final folder called "Photoshop Elements Catalog 1" (dated 1/5/2021 -- the date of my latest updates): My guess is that this is where the catalog data is stored for the "Photoshop Premiere Elements Catalog" folder. Can you explain what each of these entries is used for?  Also, when I finish working on PSE2021, I select the option to backup the catalog on exit. Where is this backup saved? Thanks for any help you can provide. Ken

I purchased the full version of the video editor just about 10 minutes ago and it still has the watermark for the trial everytime I open a video. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Hi Adobe Support. I recently purchased & installed Premiere Elements 2020. I am trying to add media but I'm getting an error message, can you please help.I've clicked onto Add Media, navigated to the folder in question and clicked on the image I wish to bring in, (a JPG image approx 130kb) with the following error message: The importer reported a generic error.The image opens in many other programs without fault. I have included a screenshot, if that helps?Any help appreciated. Regards, Nick. 

Hello, got a new PC with 2060s. My Premiere Elements 2021 detects it's presence, but tells me, not supported.But it should, acording to https://helpx.adobe.com/de/premiere-elements/using/gpu-acceleration.htmlSorry about my english. German user.PC (i7-10700KF),  Windows 20H2,  Nvidia Driver newest.What's wrong? Can someone help me, please? Thanks.

My source files are in MPEG2, 1920x1080, 50 fps, progressive. I want to export my project with the same settings, but I can't find it in any menue. Only lower frame rate is available, 25 fps. Does that mean that the combination  MPEG2 1080P 50 fps is not a possible export format?

Hello Adobe Team, Currently on version 19.0 of Adobe Premiere Elements 2021. We need to disable the update that is coming up, we cannot work with remind later option. A few reasons. >Adobe is slow to install>Slow to update.>High chances of failure.>Takes a lot of time for the update to complete.>Costs us a lot of money at the same time.>Users are beginners in Adobe, they do not want any chnages to be made what so ever for a while until they are well up to date with the interface and feel of the application.>Moreover the IT member has to contacted everytime update is to be done, still takes more time.>At this point I wish there was a parallel option to the service. What is not a solution. >Disconnecting from the internet when starting Adobe Premiere.>Closing the app from the task manager.>To do remind me later.>Care least on the security part for now. In other words, the update should not bother us/ bug us / pin us, unnes

In the middle of my project, I found the program (Adobe Premiere Elements 19) to not respond. I figured I'd try to use the render tool, which I did. I did not have any fuuther problem with m project after that. However, after using the Render tool, I believe the whole project moved to the right. I now have 30 seconds of dead time in the beginning of my song. So, I'd just like to know how to move all of my 20 or so tracks simultatneouly so they stay in sync. Some of these tracks have clips and spaces and more clips, so I fear that after the move, things may get out of sync.Lastly, I've been thinking of this for awhle: after I hit the Stop button, is there an easy wasy to get the timeline to go back to the spot which was active just before I hit the Play button?Thanks very much.LNovik

Are there new "transitions" (for video editing) available in Elements 2022? I have the 2020 version and hesitating to upgrade if there are still no new transitions.Could not find any answers to this question.I saw there are some new "automatic" features available for which I have no use.

Hello,I have an old MacBook with iMove '09 on MacOs El Capitan (10.11.6). I have created some iMovie projets. But when I select the iMovie project folder and I click on Import, I get the message below which means "This file type is not regognized or the required codec is not installed."How can I install the project ? I notice that the rushs are not in Macintosh HD. They are in an external disc. How can I install the required codec on my Windows 11?Best regards,Xavier

I am trying to reinstall Premier 12 on a new PC with Win 10.  The video editor comes up just fine, but Organizer quits by itself after 5 seconds or so! I have downloaded maybe 10% of my photos to Organizer, but stopped it after a bit because of time. The download was going well, but in checking to see the programs, I see this result.

I have had this problem since I purchased and downloaded it. Premiere Elements 2022 has never worked for me. I hope someone has an answer to my problem.When I start the video editor and then click on File -> New -> Project, the program loads briefly and then writes an error message."DVA_PRODUCT_NAME"https://forums.adobe.com/community/premiereIf I click on "OK" here, the program closes.Can someone help me? Does Premiere Elements 22 work best with AVI type 1 or type 2? WinDV has both options but from what I can find out, Type 1 has the video and audio interleaved (combined) as 1 stream and Type 2 has the same a/v stream with a copy of the audio separate stream. File size is slightly smaller for type 1 but requires the editing software to separate the audio out when processing. Which works better with Premier?

Hi, i'm trying to install Elements 2020 from DVD on windows 11 but get error message: Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system. Any ideas why that might be? I have latest OS (windows 11), plus up to date browsers (chrome and Edge)ThanksNeil

To apply effects you can follow an object.For this you can draw around the object. Then you can track the object. If all this is not done "sharply" enough, you can still adjust the drawing frame by frame. For a small amount this is just doable, but still a lot of work. But once you're done with it and playing it, Premiere seems to be largely self-determined and all your work has been for nothing. How can I put my work right away and in such a way that it is preserved, because I can't do it in Premiere with follow object (whether or not with follow from this frame).

I have lots of Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 project files (circa 2007). Is there a version that can now open these? What is the last version that can open these files? These were on Windows (XP), but I now have a Mac. I could buy Parralels I suppose. Thanks.

I bought Adobe Premiere Elements 15 a few days ago so it should be the most up to date version. I have made my video but when exporting it it adds on 10 minutes of blankness at the end. I have zoomed out and pressed the end key to see if there is any hidden footage or audio further down the timeline but there isn't. I have then tried adding a stop marker to the end of the video and exporting it but this doesn't stop the problem. Is there a really clear way to end your video so Adobe understands? I checked with Adobe before purchase and was told the Premiere Elements 2022 could capture .AVI files from a MiniDV camcorder via Firewire on Windows 10 like PE v7 did on Windows XP for me. I installed a Startech PEX1394A2V2 card and Windows 10 Device manager shows 1394 Host controller and Imaging devices as Panasonic DV Camcorder correctly. The problem is when I try to Add Media, Videos from cameras and devices, it does my camcorder does not show up like it does in the Dev Mgr. Is this function only in the Premiere Pro version and been disabled in the Elements version? I could try WinDV but I was hoping to capture within PE like I did on my old PC. Also, the version of PE 2022 shows as version 20.0 (xxx). It was installed from the purchased DVD and other than setting it to auto update there seems to be no manual update. Could not find anything on Adobe website for the latest PE 2022 version See attached.

When I set up my movie to burn on Adobe Premier elements 11 it progresses to the indexing window but no indexing occurs and wont progress past that point. Screen shot included. This is an IMac. 

When I export a video it is not clear. any Ideas? Can anyone help?

I have a project for Premiere Elements 2022 that i created recently. I wanted to export the entire audio track, do some EQing and mastering in Cubase and then re-import the audio file into Premiere Elements to replace the existing track. I am doing it this way because Elements is pretty limited with audio editing and I already know cubase. these are the steps i followed:- from elements, File/Export and Share, selected WAV format, Medium quality. I did try MP3 too but my preference is WAV so avoid compression- Imported the track into Cubase, did my audio editing there and exported the results to another WAV file.- Imported the editing audio track back into Elements and drag/drop it on one of the audio tracks.- the result is that Elements will not play that audio track, meaning no sound comes out and there is not even a waveform displayed on that audio track like the others. - I can play the Cubase exported WAV file in other software - I can import a completely different M

I have my son's memorial service I want to edit. Only problem is that the person videoing for me gave me a seperate audio file from the 4K video file. Is it possible to sync them up in Premere Elements 2022. Looking for tips on doing this.
