Please help. First time this has happened to me. I changed the settings on my go pro to 2.7k and 60fps. Now when I load the clips into premiere elements they can only play in high quality playback. Which slows down my computer. When I try to turn down the quality it becomes extremely distorted and wavy and can't see anything. When I pause it goes back to normal. Or back to high quality. But I can't do much in high quality because of my laptop.  Thanks.

I'm using PE 21 and have scanned old movie films, they need cropped and cleaned a bit. During the scanning the film drifted around the screen over the course of 30 minutes. Is there a way to lock in on a frame line or film sprocket hole to lock it in place during the entire run of the film? 

Attention!!!I have just heard from Adobe Support that Premiere Elements 2022 is not compatible with MacOS 12.xxx.

I started a project in the wrong settings  (1080p), using 1440clips. but I want to export at max quality for YouTube - so 4k.  I was able to export a 4k video , even though my initial project settings were set to 1080p. What kind of issues , if any, does this cause?  I find it a bit unclear , how initial project settings interact with export settings.  Ive spent 2 weeks editing this video, to only late realize that my setting were not correct - the auto detector interpreter by 1440clips as 1080, because there is no 1440p preset in premier elements. That's fine, because I want to export to max quality, 4k, for which there is a preset. However the auto detector downscales my project settings  1080p instead of upscaling my project settings  to 4k.  So it seems that I wineed to create a new project and choose he 4k preset. However, I then don't seem to be able to copy / paste my timeline from one project to another. Perhaps if I imlort all

my premiere elements version is 19.0(20210127.daily.2235820) and there is no further update available. Adobe announce Auto Analyzer is now in premiere elements preferences. I purchased Premiere Elements 13 and installed on my Macbook Pro in 2015. Now when I try to open, it is telling me that the developer needs to update to run with my version of Mac Os. I also have Photoshop Elements 13. Is there any way to get this to run without buying it again? The program itself is perfectly fine for my needs. Below is the message I get when I try to open the program.  “Adobe Premiere Elements 13” needs to be updated. The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Adobe Premiere Elements 2022/Windows 11.    Making a Timelapse LEGO construct project.  When I import photos from a directory (either on the laptop or external drive) the photos import but do not even kept sequence for date/time!  How can I force proper media date/time sequence within APE 2022?

Adobe support has admitted that PE 2022 has the same problem as PE 2021 - it cannot import HDR video recorded on latest model iphones 12 & 13.   "The HEVC files from iPhone 12 are reported to have issues with Adobe Premiere Elements. We have raised the request to our engineering team and they are investigating a fix.  At the moment, we do not have a workaround, but we will share an update via email."  This was in Jan 2021 and I just confirmed it is still a problem.  I really like the ease of use of Premiere Elements versus Premiere Pro and the cost is reasonable but not if it won't support Apple iphones.   Interestingly enough Adobe Premiere Rush on the PC imports the same HEVC without any issues, so Adobe knows how to do it.   Note that although you can import the files in Premiere Rush, either the IOS app or the PC version, you must pay $35 per year to export in 4K plus you have to learn how to use a whole new video editing progra

If I open an mp4 file which was filmed with my GoPro 9 (either HEVC/H.264 or HEVC compressed) with Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 the software crashes after a few clicks. I can normaly open the file in Premiere and also make some cuts but then: crash! So it seems to me that it's not a general problem with the HEVC compression. And also my computer doesn't have problems with mp4-files from other cameras (Sony ActionsCams, Insta...). It's only a problem with all files from the GoPro.I also deinstalled and reinstalled Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 but that didn't help. The crash-Problem is still there.Solutions anybody?

I'm looking for an applied effect for a still that will look like a drop of water hitting the water showing a ripple from the center. I don't want to see the drop just the effect of the ripples afterward. See attache photos of examples

I am trying to create an ISO file to burn from Premiere Elements. No matter how I encode the file, it will end up 5.22 GB which is too large to be able to create an ISO file. The file is rendered to be 3.98 GBs. I even reduced it to 3.0GB and it will always show up as 5.22GB when trying to create an ISO file.  It's beyond aggrivating. Someone please advise. 

Hello,  This is the first time I've tried to burn to anything after a project has been made in the Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 version. In the past when I used Adobe Elements 8 the "Burn to Folder 4.7gb" with "Fit Contents to available space" checked on enabled me to burn a media timeline duration of about 3 to 4 hours. Now, I'm lucky if I can "Burn to ISO 4.7gb" with "Fit Contents to available space" check on with a media timeline duration of 2 hours and 35 minutes. Here are my questions: Is there someway I can add "Burn to Folder 4.7gb" as an option in addition to the ISO one that is already built-in?Is there a way to adjust settings in order to put up to 3 to 4 hours of media timeline duration with "Fit Contents to available space" checked on? Whenever I tried to do this I would get an "insufficient disc space" warning, forcing me to trim the duration down on my media. I have Premiere and Photoshop Elements 2020. For several months I have been loading MP4 videos from an app on my phone. All worked well.Today when I tried to load a video I got the message "media files were skipped because they are not supported .."When I try to run one of the previously loaded videos in Organiser I get the message "The selected file cannot be played because your system does not have the required codec".I have reinstalled the HEIF and HEVC codecs and rebooted several times but no joy.I have not (AFAIK) changed anything recently to cause this.Any suggestions???Thank you.

I routinely need to do simple edits on zoom recordings. Zoom produces a 2736x1824 3:2 mp4 avc file which PE2022 easily opens, but I get black vertical bars on the right and left. (Yes I can zoom to eliminate the bars, but then I lose top and bottom content.) I have looked at all the mp4 project presets and none seem to accomodate 3:2 video. Can a 3:2 project preset be added? Some Other workaround?The 2nd problem is that PE22 automatically uses a 3840x1920 project preset for this video. That's just more resolution than needed, and everything needs conversion to that standard, leading to way slow performance. (I can manually select a project, and use the force selected project to this present check box, to work on these files in a 1920x1080 world, but it would be nice to work at the actual clip's resolution?Similarly, I don't see a standard way to export 3:2. I was able to make a 1920x1280 (3:2) custom export/sharing preset, but that adds black bars at the top and bottom.It's important t

When I open the Premiere Elements 2021, a window pops up with a suggestion to update. I can't go any further and choose anything. The window is constantly displayed on the screen and cannot be closed or skipped.The options below don't work for me. Apply the update in one of the following ways:Click Install Now or Install On Exit in the update message displayed in Premiere Elements.Choose Help > Updates (when the update message is not displayed).

I saved a completed DVD from Elements to a file system like the following:  Open DVD > Video TS > sources > VOB.  Is it possible to recover that DVD as originally created? I have a number of DVDs that elements saved that way.

When I try burning DVDs in Premiere Elements it wont let me do it directly and keeps giving me an invalid disk name message, (screenshot below) I have tried the date, test, and even "Dave" out of desperation does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? (I am on windows) 

I have used hundreds of photos to make 5 slidshows.  I want to produce a DVD that has menues to select which slideshow to watch.  I could do that in previous versions of Elements but 2022 does not have an option to Creat a Menu DVD, oly DVD labels and covers.
