On a 30 minutes timeline dozens of clips with minor wrap stabilizer effect.The project file size is about 200 MB.According to ChatGPT It turns out that all the stabilizer information is saved in the project file.I'm afraid the software will crash due to the size of the file.-Is there anything I can do? Should I worry?

I've installed twice, fails all encodes and seems to corrupt video drivers at times crashing browsers.  Reminded me of hardware fails.  Encoding would go the way to the end and fail near stitching.   2025.3 runs without issue from system restore.2025.4 fails all h264 encodes Since Premiere, AE and AME all updated at the same time, I'm not sure which one, but it must share whatever the issue is as both AME and Premiere Pro Direct encodes fail. Windows64, 14900k, 3080ti, SSD M2 gen5, 96gb RAM.  Latest video driver updates.

I found the option for making the main timeline autoscroll with playback and follow the playhead cursor. It's under Preferences > General > Timeline Playback Auto-Scrolling > Page Scroll OR Smooth Scroll. But I would like for it to also auto-scroll in the "Effect Controls" timeline (the place where you add and manipulate keyframes). Is there a way to do this?

Latest premiere (25.3). Struggeling very hard with avchd files (*.MTS) . Can barely scrubb threw them. Previous premiere version (25.2) Works with them just fine. Tried to convert them to mp4 files, and still nothing. Tried clearing The cache.Thanks

When I opened Premiere Pro for the very first time, a tutorial started, created a project, put footage in the timeline and gave instructions that were either incorrect or confusing. I didn't know what to do with any of it. I was totally overwhelmed. Not a good beginning in my journey to learn Premiere Pro. I came to the Adobe site wanting some written instructions or video on how to use the tutorial. I'm aware of the irony.  Sigh... 

My RTX 5080 doesn't want to work with PremierPro 25.3 and decode 4.2.2 H265, the process as before goes to the integrated graphics in 13900KHow can I make Premier use the video card? I use a 3 monitor setup, and the right screen as playback monitor. Suddenly, the full screen playback does not show on the assigned screen, but plays on the main (middle) screen in a strange overlaying postition of the program monitor (see image attached)I have tried deactivating playback, activating, reboot, Nvidia Driver update...This issue is new, and shows in all new projects. Old projects work normally funny enough. Anybody can help with this issue?Thanks!

I have Luts I created in Davinci and exported as 65 point 3d luts and then imported into premier that i currently use and it was wokring fine up until today. I created another lut for a project im working on exported in the same way and imported the same way into premier but it has not showed up in the lumetri panel in the creative nor the basic panel. If anyway knows a fix im all ears!

Buenos días a toda la comunidad. Tengo este problema con Adobe Media Encoder: cuando importo archivos .de video de formato .mts para convertir, me informa que no tienen audio. Lo cual no es así, el archivo tiene cinco pistas de sonido. Los archivos son creados con una cámara Sony Handycam HDR PJ30 y ése es el formato nativo. Sé que las versiones nuevas de Adobe Premiere no importan el sonido de esos archivos, pero no puedo entender por qué Media Encoder tampoco... Especialmente teniendo en cuenta de que esto es nuevo, porque hasta no hace mucho yo podía importar los .mts sin problemas tanto a Permiere como a Media Encoder.  Les agradezco cualquier orientación que me puedan brindar. 

How do I get this to work? I literally cannot drag ANY video, audio, or image files into the timeline from my file explorer. I've seen source patching is the answer, but the source patch video in my timeline for the video section is just missing. I'm on windwos 10 and on Premiere Pro 2021 and I am absolutely losing it. 

Premiere is unfortunatelly unusable, clips constantly go offline every day or two. It is Premiere on a PC. Nothing has changed with my computer. I update everything regularly, and all other apps work flawlessly. I uninstalled Premiere several times with no positive results. I work with large projects. With many clips in many folders, it takes ages first to relink them manually (it is automatic to a degree, but usually, I must find at least 10-20 folders for Premiere manually). Then generating peak files also takes ages. This is just a tip of the iceberg, with constant crashes, endless Media pending etc. Premiere for PC is broken. I have older 13-inch MacBook M1, it works normally.

Hi, I have an issue I for some reason thought would be simple but after much tinkering I'm basically still at square one. I am receiving an XML from Audition, where a producer edits a podcast. I can load that audio-only sequence into Premiere no problem. I have a multicam video sequence that is the exact same length and exact same source timecode as the audio file used to edit the podcast in Audition. I need basically to rebuild the sequence with video inside Premiere. Is there a simple way to do this? All the key info is right there, but I haven't come across a way of doing it yet. I looked into ExtendScript but again I can't seem to find a way to retrieve the source in/out points of clips on the timeline and apply that to a multicam sequence object in the project panel. So any help is much appreciated! Thanks

I can't get generative extend to work. Using version 25.4.1 build 3, I've tried multiple clips to no avail including 4K at 23.97, 1080 at 30.00, some clips were RAW some were 709, none had slow motion or any effects applied. I tried unlinking them from the audio track, also didn't work. Always the same message "can't complete generative extend." What can I try next?  TIA

I own and run a Dell Inspiron 15 3510 that incorporates an Intel ® UHD Graphics 605 card. I even upgraded the RAM in the system from 16GB to 32GB. Adobe Premiere Pro 2023 was the latest version of Premiere Pro that was compatible with my system because Version 2025 is not. Adding to matters, Premier Rush was retired and was totally useless to me because it was too scaled back. I need a version of Premier Pro that’s compatible with my system since Version 2023 was also retired. In addition, the latest versions of After Effects 2025 and InDesign 2025 are also incompatible with my system. What do I do for an alternatice if Premiere 2025 isn't compatible with my system and Premiere Rush has been retired, though useless? 

Hi, I have a very peculiar scenario. I recorded a play for friend - 3840 x 2160. Most of the action happens in the center stage while some scenes are extended beyond the center stage . Please refer to the attached pic. The Yellow dotted line shows the area (793 x 321) where most of the action happens - almost 2hours.The red dotted lines shows the area (1339 x 321) which happens for around 10 to 12 times, each of 2-3 minutes duration. This is a one single video. Requesting help and guidance to process this in a way that when there is no action on the sides and only happening in the center stage, it should be in 793 x 321. When the action happens in the balcony area - it should strech to 1339 wide.I have already done color and sharpness correction.This is the first time I'm editing a video, hence it would be great if you can provide step by step guidance. I cannot figure this problem out and it is driving me nuts, I generally cannot believe how many problems I have with adobes software and I waste so much time trying to fix it but i CANNOT find a solution for this. I'm on a Macbook air M4, ios 26, using premiere pro 25.5. trying to use guasian blur mask tool with the tracking and i get this error every single time. I'm using bog standard 4k gopro footage and it has never done this before but for some reason it wants to now throw this error at me constantly. I have cleared my cache, reset my laptop, moved the file to a different location, renamed the file, tried nesting, tried an older version, tried reupdating, tried reinstalling, tried speeding the clip up and then reverting it to its normal pace, checked about variable frame rate and there isn't any. I cannot think of anything else, any input will be appreciated.

De la misma forma hice lo mismo desde Adobe Fonts. El problema persiste.El cliente me dice que debo instalar la versión en inglés de Adobe Premiere y After Effects por lo que los proyectos fueron hechos en esas aplicaciones. I started a new project in Premiere and the video was really laggy even after I changed the playback resolution to 1/8 and disable high quality playback. So I tried making a proxy file but the video is still lagging even after I enable it. The first video was a 2h long gameplay video, recorded with Nvidia Shadowplay at 130k bitrate. The video turend out at a variable refresrate so I had to convert it to a mkv in handbrake. Video still at 130K bitrate. For some reason Premiere would not open the file, so I had to convert it again with OBS Remux to a mp4. Now Premiere would open the file but it was very laggy so I made a proxy file of it, and even on the playback lowest setting it was still lagging. I tried to insert just the proxy file directly into Premiere and then it worked perfectly.I did the exact same thing with 2 files, only difference one being 2 minutes and one 2 hours and the same result. The first file specs are 100Gb sizes, 4K, 130,000kbit/s. 2

I have around 60 hours of video shot in S-VHS adhering to the PAL standard definition 576i 4:3 format. I’d like to edit the footage and have the finished output scaled up and cropped to 16:9 1080i.  Having reviewed the footage, there are parts which would benefit from use of the warp stabilizer effect. What is the best workflow to achieve the end result?  There appears to be so many different methods to getting to the finished product, I just don’t know which is the best approach. Regards, Steve

Hi everyone, I'll try and explain my issue the best I can! So I'm working on a project with clips from a Sony FX6, FX3, A7Riii and GoPro. Everything was fine, then all of a sudden the FX3 clips started playing fast but the audi remained in real time. The clips were shot at 100fps and my timeline is at 25fps. I tried to interpret the footage and selected 'Assume this frame rate' and set it to 25pfs, which corrected the video clip back to the correct playback but then the audio was slowed down. Any help would be greatyl appreciated! Many thanks.

Hi,For my film, Im trying to scale down a clip (HD 1910x1080) as I will use this inside an image as screen replacement (image size is also 1910x1080). The clip is of high quality, crisp and clear, but once scaling it, it becomes blurry with lost details. What do I do wrong? Another issue here: When I use the "Corner Pin" functionality, to make the clip fit into the image (the screen), also details in the clip are distorted (text and shapes). Is there another way of doing this (scaling and inserting a clip into an image), without losing all quality? Should I use After Effects instead (although I have no knowledge at all about After Effects)? Pls help and thanks in advance! 

The current automatic speech recognition in Adobe Premiere Pro is very poor in accuracy, even for English audio. The transcripts often contain too many mistakes, making them unusable for professional work. I strongly suggest that Adobe improve the speech-to-text engine, either for English or Chinese, to reach a level comparable to other modern transcription tools. 

I would love to hear where people are saving their project files. For a number of years I always had my Premiere (and After Effects) project files and their auto-saves going to a folder on my Creative Cloud. This enabled me to always only have one version of the project that I knew was the latest and greatest that I could access from the office on my desktop system and/or on my MacBook Pro when I needed to WFH, or anywhere else. Then Creative Cloud decided to stop functioning in the traditional cloud way where it is constantly syncing files from devices to the cloud and back. Now I use iCloud in the same way. Before we started doing this there were always multiple versions of any given project floating around depending on what hard drive it was saved to and who the editor was. Plus, there was always the risk of losing the drive and therefore, the project file. With the cloud system I call up an old project and it tells me which drives it’s looking for to link to the media instead of me
