I'm consistently experiencing the app freezing for no reason, unable to export anything in any format, cannot play clips in Source or Program windows, cannot get the timeline to play after rendering effects, cannot edit closed captions... Premiere will work until I need to render, export, or edit CC.... It just stops working. The UI is still able to navigate through the workspace but is completely useless as an editor or playback interface. I have to restart the app EVERY TIME just to keep working. This problem started right after updating Premiere on my M1 Max during the MAX conference. ** I now have a MacBook M4 Max with 128GB of RAM and 12 performance cores of processing! It's still NOT WORKING correctly! I'm literally trying to edit 30 seconds of .MXF vand .MP4 clips! (I solved the intial problem on the M1 Max by installing and using Premiere Beta to finish the project.) It's looking like I'll have to do that again on this brand new machine. :sigh: PLE

Não consigo adicionar branco nos meus videos, toda a vez que tento adicionar uma legenda mesmo estando em FFFFFF o branco que aparece na minha tela é amarelado. Como posso resolver isso? Acredito que isso pode estar atrapalhando até mesmo no meu conta gotas, pois quando tento selecionar a cor que está no papel do meu video é diferente da cor que aparece.

Would anyone know how to address an issue where the screen sharing for Zoom carries the video for Premiere but no audio? Current specs:1) Premiere Pro 2025 v 25.3.0 (Mac; Intel-based i9 Macbook Pro 2ith 32 GB Ram, 8 GB Video Card, 2 TB SSD)2) MacOS: Sequoia 15.1.12) Zoom: Version 6.4.6

I dropped some custom LUTs into ~Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/LUTs Creative and Technical folders and now they've vanished from that folder, yet still show in Premiere? If I search my Mac for .cube files, nothing shows up anywhere. I tried this on two machines, MacBook Pro M1 as well as MacBook Pro M4 on macOS Sequoia 15.5.According to the FCP XML output, the LUTs being referenced are still in that folder. But when I go there, there's nothing. I tried enabling hidden files but no different. If I run a deep search in Terminal, it shows them as being there too.... but opening the folder they're not visible.Baffled. Any ideas?  

 Been so many issues lately with the newest updates (Current version 25.3) Apple macOS 15.5 1. Hotkeys activating when typing in captions instead of putting text (I've tried everything I've seen online about this and NOTHING is working)  I work a lot with captions and this is EXTREMELY frustrating and slows down my work rate 10x. I've cleared prerences/media cache and freshly reinstalled the program! 2. Randomly unable to drag video in order to re-position/re-frame Sometimes I can't physically drag the video with my mouse to reposition and have to use the X & Y controls in the effect controls panel which again slows things down so much! 3. Random Crashes?? The software won't slow down or show any signs of lag it'll just show crash report and close down (THIS HAS COST ME HOURS OF WORK EVEN WITH AUTO SAVE ON) I've always sent the crash report to adobe I pay A LOT for this software and need it for my job, this is my first post on here

Hi all, since upgrade to v25, my settings are no longer synced between my PC and Laptop for Premiere Pro. This seems to be per design 😞 Synchronisationseinstellungen in Premiere ProThen the articles points to a description how to manually copy & paste settings between computers, but the content there talks about recovery of settings etc.  and I don't get it to work.Can somebody please point me to the folder in my profile that needs to be c&p from the PC to the laptop to sync the settings? I'm especially in the need for metadata settings etc. that I have done for screeing materials and cutting etc.Thanks in advance, Christa

Hi  I have an issue where I cannot even get past the opening Project Window now. The latest version is installed 25.3 with an Error Report being generated everytime on opening. As there is a sequence open it continuely shows the 'Media Offline Message. Now the thing is I can do a forced close CTRL+ALT+DEL Task Manager End Task then restart PP and open another completed project from the drop down list and it works fine, playback etc without any crashes. Now I thought I had resolved it earlier as everytime I created a sequence via a preset it had error so I deleted that preset and used another , no real issues. That was early in the project but now I can't even start to work the project as it continues to crash straight up on opening. Wondering if I reinstalled the previous verion would that be any good. The issue I can't fathom is why on a completed project works fine and yet this one continues to crash in the same version. I am totally lost I just went back to PP to take a screen

 Can Lumetri Color work in real time in the Мulticamera mode ?I need the panel to work as quickly as in other modes. Who can fix it? I noticed this bug in all versions on different PCs    

Hi. Is there a way, some item in Premiere Pro 2024.2.1 menu where I can turn off playhead jumping to the beginning of an extended marker on the timeline upon clicking it? I use extended markers to indicate parts of a project, so they may be quite long, and I often click on them by mistake and jump back to the beginning of a part. It is so frustrating!

Hey team, All of a sudden audio tracks across my timeline are completely blown out, this is happening across many projects I open which have never had an issue in the past. It isnt every audio tracks and seems to be sporratic, and the source file is completely fine. Visually the waveform looks like to volume has been cranked to max and sounds like it aswell. I have tried cleaning the cache, deleting the entire suite and using the Adobe cloud cleaner tool. I have tried exporting to audition, rolling back premiere to several updates ago, exporting to see if it would still be present, re exporting the source file in media encoder and still can't figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers 

So in Premiere 25.3 attempting to open a new sequence crashes the program. Like Ctl-N, accessing the menu, nothing. I haven't really noticed it because 99% of the time I work out of a template that has 3 pre-built, empty sequences I can work out of. But if I want a 4th I have to duplicate an existing sequence and delete everything out of it. How is something this basic this broken? Windows 11 PC i9-13950HX 2.20 GHz processor64 GB RAMNvidia RTX 5000 GPU Premiere Pro Version 25.3

I'm editing on a PC with two graphics cards connected by SLI GeForce GTX 960, what happens to me is that I open Premier and when I import a file it closes, but if I change the sequence so that it works with the Software and not with the GPU it works normally, this tells me that the problem is compatibility with the GPU and this happens to me when I update to Windows 11 because in Windows 10 it worked normally, I need help

I have started experiencing issues since the update of Sequioa on my Mac. I have the latest version of Premiere Pro (V25.3 build 84) and all of my drivers are up to date both in MacOS and Adobe. I shoot Pro Res Raw via a shogun inferno and have never had any issues with the codec in premiere. In fact, Premiere's ability to handle this footage easily is one of the reasons I stay with the software. I have recently been working on a project for a client and noticed something I couldn't explain. I would render out all of my footage in the timeline, taking everything from yellow to green, and playback would be smooth. However, when I started to scrub through footage, everything would revert back to yellow, causing me to have to re-render again. The files never left their folder, and it is really slowing down my workflow. I spoke with Adobe about this and we opened up a ticket, but nobody could seem to figure out the why, or the troubleshoot for this issue. For reference, all footage is shot

Hey @Mathias Moehl, I've been using Automation Blocks for a month to export shot lists from PP (vs previously exporting to EDL, converting to CSV etc) and love it — so handy!There are two things I haven't been able to build automations for yet, both of which seem very simple. I've searched these forums, the user guide and asked ChatGPT to write a script (didn't work sadly), but still haven't figured them out, so wondered if you could help/point me in the direction of a tutorial which will: How would I add a column of row numbers to a CSV/spreadsheet export (e.g. in a leftmost column of the attached, starting at 1)? Is there a way to sort the CSV export by a specific column (either before or after it's generated but still using Automation Blocks)? For example, in the attached screengrab I'd like the CSV to be sorted in ascending order by the timecodes in the fifth column. Thanks again for the amazing tool!

Hi everybody I have a special project with small connected videos in a long timeline. In export mode I choose "Effekte/Timecode Überlagerung". Everything ok up to 11:59:59:23. Than it stops at 12:00:00:00. The video export is not affected, no problem. Apparently, the timecode is in am/pm 12 hour mode. However, I can't find any option to change it in a 24 hour mode.  Thanks for helpDölf

I've had to start exporting After Effects animations as dynamic linking really makes my projects lag (I edit half an hour long documentary style videos including advanced After Effects animations). When I only have 5 minutes worth of work in there I can just import from AE quite easily, but once it's at half an hour and I have 10 advanced animations scattered throughout the project, it gets very slow, even when I've rendered everything. Sometimes the AE animations will just show wup as black screens. Is there an even better alternative to rendering files to make them work super smoothly? Even when they render properly, when I watch the whole video back the entire thing is super jittery and impossible to watch.

The new version of Premiere Pro seems to be missing Video Transitions and also, I cannot even find the "Effects" menu but only a "Effects Controls" which has nothing in it - no Video Transitions like previous versions of Premiere Pro, What has happened? I simply want to make a 'Dip To Black' at the start and end of a sequence but am lost at this point. Are all of the old controls gone? How do I do simple transitios like dip to black and dissolves between clips and fade to black at the end? I have studied Premiere Pro for years but am completely lost with this new version. Please help me find or do the old menus even exist any more?TIA,Ken

Has anyone had a similar problem? Lately, with files from phones, this has been popping up a lot, and I can't render the material.There is space on the disk, deleting the folder as they suggest doesn't help.Support connected remotely, but unfortunately they didn't help either.Premiere pro is legal, of course 🙂  

My question is simple as I am a beginner with this. I am trying to select all of the objects in my program window. I can double click to select one, but can't shift-click or click and drag a box like Illustrator. In the screenshot below, how can I select all the fans at once to scale them and reposition them all together?  

I cant use Premier on my Mac (10.15) and Ive tried everywhere to get an older verion to no avail. Is there any way Adobe could send me an installer for an older version???

I'm editing a 2-hour multicam sequence with a ton of edits, primarily using the keyboard shortcuts to switch between camera angles. If I want to go back and re-edit a portion in the middle and use the keyboard shortcuts, the last keyboard shortcut I use will make that camera angle hold for the entire rest of the sequence, erasing any edits after that (to the right on the timeline). Is there a way to use keyboard shortcuts in the middle of an already-edited multicam sequence so that any edits made "after" (to the right) of the new edits are preserved?

I'm running 24.4.1 on MacOS Sonoma 14.5. Whenever I add a clip to my timeline Essential Sound has just started auto-tagging things as dialogue. I've spent many hours tweaking my audio setup, and building a chain of audio effects exactly like I want them. How do I turn this behavior off? It seems to have just started with the latest update (or maybe I didn't notice it). I don't want Essential Sound anywhere near my audio. Ever. Can I turn this off?

I was using 2025 ae pp and they were crashing. I was using cracked version at first.  So they asked to use 2023 and now pp is crashing. What have you guys done for the products?  Is these are the updates you guys are giving for adobe users? [edited by modertor]

Shortly after I  begin to play my clip in the sequence, intense white noise takes over the track. It is not an issue with the original file because it works fine on my coworker's computer. Also, the waveform audio doesn't show solid noise, you can still see the flow of the interview in the audio waveform.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled premiere (and all my Adobe apps) and have reset all my settings to default. I am working off of a 2017 iMAC version 10.15.7, though I have had this issue on my home computer as well. My coworker is running a slightly older version of premiere and I am running 15.2.  Here is a link to a video of the error occurring.Video of Error  Thank you all!
