Hello,For those who are music producers or produce music videos. Here's a process for editing to a music track, if you've been wondering. In your music production software, record a few bars of the metronome to an audio track.Tab to transient to edit and make a clip of one metronome beat for the BPM.Import the audio clip to Premiere Pro, copy it eight times, and set a marker on the timeline.Then, copy the selection along with the marker to the whole sequence and you have a music video!

Cannot use tutorials in the app. I have access to the internet, I am writing on my computer right now. The tutorials don't load in the list under help tab and the one that pops up when you first open the the app does not work either! The thread about this was written in 2023, it says this:  Navigate to the /Users/Shared/Adobe/Premiere Pro 2023/Learn Panel/payloads/en_US folder When I copy paste the above nothing comes up in files on my mac When I tried to put the same file but changed it to say PremierPro2025 it did not work when looking for files on my mac. I am using a macbook air with latest updates 15.4.1. I keep posting this issue and if I don't get back to somone in ONE day no one ever responds to me after I responf to them.  Please somene help

Problem Description:When launching Adobe Premiere Pro, the program fails to load completely and displays an error message that prevents use. The crash occurs consistently at startup.---Technical Details:- Premiere Pro Version: 25- Operating System:Windows 11 Pro for Workstations 22H2- CPU and RAM: Intel(R) Xeon(R) w5-2445 3.10 GHz, 128 GB RAM- GPU: NVIDIA RTX A4500- Adobe ID Email: radoslaw.pobozy@ipn.gov.pl- Does the problem occur since the first installation or did it appear recently?: recently.- Troubleshooting steps attempted:- Reset Preferences (ALT + launch): Yes- Cleared cache folders: Yes- Reinstalled the app: Yes- Launched as Administrator: Yes---Attached Files:- Memory dump file (.dmp) from crash event---Additional Information:Based on a manual dump file analysis, the crash appears to be caused by an `Unhandled Exception` related to the `ngl-lib_DataStorage` component. The following error was identified:`GetLastModifiedTime error 1168 – data not found in storage.

In this clip here with Dip to Black applied at the beginning, the clip only begins to get brighter halfway through the transition effect. But the entire first half of the transition, it's just completely black. Some people might say that's how it's designed which I would question.. why? But still, that's not how I would want the effect to work. I want it to start increasing capacity linearly from 0s to the end of the transition, kind of like, oh I don't know.. how the transition graphic is visually portrayed!  This is not intuitive, and of course I know I can change the opacity of the clip with two keyframes to do it the way it's meant to, but that method is more time consuming and fiddly, esp when applying to many clips and just wanting to quickly change the length.

NEW PC. PREVIOUSLY HAD PROBLEM IMPORTING ANY VIDEO TYPE IN PREMIERE. NOW OK. PREMIERE AND INDEED ALL ADOBE APPLICATIONS NOT IMPORTING AUDIO WITH VIDEO ON MTS FILES ONLY. HAVE CLEARED AND MOVED CACHE. RENAMED FILE EXTENSIONS.  FILES IMPORT OK OTHER EDITING SOFTWARE. ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE.  

I have a problem with wav files. When I import in my project a .wav file with comment it does not play. Instead of extension wave audio file the extension is inf wave audio file when imported in my project. Al audioprograms including Audition have no problems with the files.See an example below.

Hi all, I have been laying out a voiceover for a video I am working on. The audio is a stack of wav files from a tascam recorder sd card. All of my files except for one work without problem, and have no issue with playback. Out of nowhere, the clip from one file stopped playing audio into the video, when just minutes before there was no issue. I am still in a pretty preliminary phase, so no effects are active on the audio, the track isnt muted and nothing else is soloing. The waveform is still visible. I ejected and reloaded the sd card, unlinked and re-linked the files. Still no sound. Then, I checked the original file, and suddenly it wont play it's audio through preview or VLC. The file duration and size info still exists, but the audio is lost.    Does anyone know what happened here, or if there's any chance I can recover my file?

I do a lot of masking, carefully following the outline of an object I want to superimpose onto a different background, or change the colour of, etc, but it's very difficult to control the mouse accurately. You end up with a really aching hand because you are holding the mouse so tightly as you try to move a mask point 0.1 of a millimetre. Is there some way to move the mask point more easily and accurately using a tool with much bigger movements?

Hi, I updated my Premiere Pro and now all the objects in the timeline have rounded corners. This makes it really hard to edit anything on the timeline now. I can't find the option on how to change the design of the corners so they are normal again. Can someone please advise me how to do this? Regards,Johann

Hi everyone,   I'm experiencing constant crashes in Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 and recurring BSODs (Blue Screens of Death) on my high-end PC, even after extensive troubleshooting. The main crash issue in Premiere Pro seems to be related to "mc_dec_hevc.dll," which suggests a possible HEVC codec issue. However, now I’m also getting random BSODs, making me suspect a deeper driver or system-level issue.   System Specs: OS: Windows 11 Pro (Version 10.0.26100) CPU: Intel Core i9-14900K RAM: 128 GB Storage: 3.6 TB SSD GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 (Studio Driver 572.16 – Jan 30, 2025) Monitors: 2x Samsung C49RG9x (2560x1440 @ 100Hz)   Issue #1: Premiere Pro 2025 Crashing (mc_dec_hevc.dll Error) Premiere Pro 2025 (Version 25.1.0.73) crashes immediately when GPU acceleration is enabled. Good day! I am using Adobe Creative Cloud on my new Samsung Galaxy Book5 360. Before buying it, I checked the specs and I run the Adobe Diagnostics and it says the laptop can support the Adobe suite. Nevertheless, Premiere Pro (25.2.3) crashes every time I run it. I can start the software, I can create a new project, but as soon as I import a video (no matter of big) the screen turns black and then I get the error message and the application closes. The computer also crashes on Camera Raw (on Photoshop 26.6) Did anybody experience a similar problem?Thanks and regards

Hi, als ich heute mein Projekt in Adobe Premiere geöffnet habe, war dieser rote und blaue Auswahlrahmen (siehe Bilder) bei den Textfeldern plötzlich verschwunden bzw. wurde nicht angezeigt.Im Schnittfenster wird es als Medium angezeigt, und wenn ich Schreibe kommen auch paar Buchstaben, aber sobald ich über das "imaginäre" Feld bin, sehe ich nichts mehr. Wenn ich mit der Maus nach einem unsichtbaren Feld suche, ändert sich die Mausanzeige, dort kommt das vergrößern Zeichen, aber das Feld lässt sich so nicht vergrößen, es reagiert gar nicht darauf.Wie krieg ich den zu Effekten hinzugefügt bzw. angezeigt?Ich danke euch im Voraus!

Olá, pessoal! Quando tentei instalar o premiere, apareceu que meu sistema não era compatível por conta do processador com extensoões de vetor.Ele aparece que é necessário suporte para extensões de vetores AVX2. Eu olhei no meu processador NVIDIA GTX675MX e vi que ele é AVX e estaria muito antigo para tal. A pergunta é: Para versões antigas do premiere ele tbm só vale se o processador tiver esse AVX2? Pq entendo não funcionas nas versões mais atuais porém deveria funcionar. No meu Imac, o Creative Cloud nao deixa instalar versoes anteriores do premiere e queria saber se isso ainda é possivel ou somente trocando de PC.

My Premiere Pro is updated to the latest version. I usually edit 1080p 50fps videos and have edited quite heavy content on my current laptop (ASUS Zenbook) which is new by the way. I don't know what's wrong but recently after opening Premiere for a couple of minutes it starts to freeze and a pop up screen would appear to send/don't send report and my Premiere has to force shut. However everytime I open back Premiere, the interface runs smoothly, no lag but somehow would freeze for a second after a few minutes and my Premiere would crash. I also tried clearing the cache, third party plugins, uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing works. On a side note: I tried opened Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Figma and Photoshop at the same time and everything seems to be working well. What could be the issue? It's been very frustrating cause I am a student and I'm in the midst of my final year projects.  Laptop SpecsIntel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 258V 2.20 GHz32.0 GB RAM

Hello I currently have a issue where P Pro is taking 2 to 3 minutes for playing back rendered video and I am unable to scrub through video. This issue just began. In the past its ran just fine. I did some slight changes to oprimize P Pro and its  running worse than before. Im editing 4k footage to 1080. My Computer stats are as followed:Ram - 64 GBProcessor - Intel I9-9900 Nividia 3070ti 8GB And 4 TB of storageIm running Premiere Pro 25.2.3.I was unable to makong any adminstration changes because it wont allow them to apply even as the adminstrator profile. Any help would great.

I'm trying to figure out what happened. I have a duplicated sequence. In the new one, the overall audio mix is as expected, everything hitting proper levels. In the older sequence, the individual clip audio is the same, the mix balance between dialogue and music seems the same, but the overall volume is peaking. With the result that I have to use my external speaker volume to turn it down when I'm going between the 2 sequences. Is anyone aware of a master volume that I could have accidentally tripped to cause this? If so, it would be an interesting feature as well. But one I'm not aware of, or have used.

Hi everyone,I have encountered what I believe might be a bug or at least inconsistent behavior in Adobe Premiere Pro regarding Sync Lock and Ripple Delete.Here's the situation:When Sync Lock is enabled on multiple tracks, everything works as expected. Using Ripple Delete removes content across all synced tracks, while tracks with Sync Lock disabled remain untouched - which is correct.However, here's the problem:If I perform a Ripple Delete on a track where Sync Lock is disabled, Premiere still removes content from other tracks where Sync Lock is enabled. In my understanding, this should not happen. If Sync Lock is disabled on the track I'm editing, the delete operation should not affect any other tracks, regardless of their Sync Lock state.To be clear: Ripple Delete on Sync-Locked tracks works fine.Ripple Delete on Sync-Unlocked tracks should not affect Sync-Locked tracks, but it currently does. This behavior seems inconsistent with how Sync Lock is supposed to work - essenti

I could be wrong about it being a bug but everytime I go to watch my video in premiere pro the video will play for like a second then pause on its own and bug out the rest of the time to the point where i cant even edit anymore i've tryed all the steps like clearing the cache, turning down the memory as low as possible and also reinstalling to see if it fixes it but nothing happens if anyone knows a way to fix this would greatly appriceate it.

I am trying to get the formatted time of the markers on the video clip via:timeOfMarker.getFormatted(settings.videoFrameRate, settings.audioDisplayFormat)but sometimes it loses one frame, how to ensure that it is always proceduses correct timecode?I am using tried both audioDisplayFormat and videoDisplayFormat, same results

OK...off the wall request.I'm doing a musician's performance highlight reel. Its composed of 10 song-sections. However, at the beginning, I have an openning graphic with no sound. It displays for about 15 seconds though I can adjust that as needed.What I'd like to do is create something similar to an Overture in play where short pieces of audio merge one after the other. before the curtain comes up Is there anything out there that would allow me to take the audio pieces thatr I select and merge them together, adjusting the transition from one to the other even if it means an adjustment to the beginning/end of each piece so it sounds like one was played after another in a way that a theater Overture sounds. Pretty crazy?

Every time I try to click and drag one of these points, Premiere Pro prioritizes selecting the bezier handles instead, which results in the curve changing instead of the point moving. I want to keep straight edges between points — no curves — and just move the point itself.Alt-clicking does toggle between curved and straight paths visually (with or without the little arrowhead), but even when the path appears to be straight, the bezier handles are still present and still clickable. They get in the way, making it almost impossible to reliably click and drag just the point itself.Is there a way to lock or fully disable

I am working on automating workflows in Adobe Premiere Pro using ExtendScript. I would like to programmatically create a multi-camera source sequence (multi-cam sequence) through scripting. Is it possible to create a multi-cam source sequence using ExtendScript? If yes, which API methods or objects should I use for this task? If not supported directly, is there any alternative scripting approach or workaround to simulate or achieve multi-cam editing behavior through ExtendScript?
