Now we can import video clips inside of essential graphics. However I could not figure out how to trim the video clip inside the essential graphics panel to get the exact point in the footage. The only way I could do is nest the essential graphics layer and then trim the nested clip. But that defies the whole idea of essential graphics. How do you trim multiple clips inside of essential graphics. Any thoughts? Personal info deleted by mod.
Why can the renderer part be like this?
Hello Automation Blocks Team,I'm trying to create a custom Automation Blocks script in Premiere Pro to streamline a repetitive workflow I do for every project. Here’s what I want the script to do:Automatically create 2 offline clips inside an existing bin structure:File > Extra > Multicam Sequences. The offline clips don't need any specific name, but they should always have the same names each time (so the script can later find and select them reliably). After creating them, the script should automatically select both offline clips (which are inside the Extra > Multicam Sequences bin, not from the "Processed Clips" bin). Then, it should create a Multicam Sequence from those two offline clips, using In Point as the sync method. Finally, once the Multicam Sequence is created, it should delete the two offline clips from the bin (so they don’t clutter the project panel).I’m not familiar with JavaScript or programming, and this is m
I'm making long "videos", it is just a simple edit.It has a long audio .wav file about 40min~1h, a static .png image, subtitle from time to time that appears, a simple spectrum from After Effect and Cross dissolve in both, image and spectrum. The only thing needed is to be in 1080p for the background image to be in high quality and an FPS rate enough for the spectrum not look too slow. Settings I'm using now for video is 1080p, 29.97fps, Format mp4 (H.264). VBR 1pass and 10mbps.For audio AAC, 48000hz, Stereo and 320kbps. Since I have an Nvidia GPU, I chose H.264, which could speed things up a bit since nvidia has a chip to hardware-accelerate h.264 encoding, but it seems that's not the case because the GPU barely hits 50%, or my GPU is just not compatible with it. My PC specs are a RTX 2060 6gb, Ryzen 5 5600 (stock clocks), 32gb 3600mhz RAM.The PP and AA cache are on a HDD and saving the encoded file on a SSD NVME with a read/write of 7,000/6,000MB/s PP an
Looking to duplicate a sequence a bunch of times using a script and then label each one for a different language. I saw in a different post that the clone function was available. However, whenever I exectue, I get the exception: "sequence.clone is not a function"For transparency, here is my script: // List of languages to use as suffixes var languages = [ "Chinese (Simplified)", "Spanish Mexican", "German", "Czech", "Polish", "Slovak", "Serbian", "Portuguese-Brazil", "Italian", "Spanish", "Hindi", "Kannada", "Marathi", "Tamil", "Arabic", "Macedonian", "Korean", "Romanian", "Swedish", "Turkish", "French", "Thai", "Hungarian", "Japanese", "Slovenian" ]; // Function to duplicate a sequence and rename each duplication with language suffixes function duplicateAndRenameSequenceWithLanguages(sequenceName, languages) { var project = app.project; var sequence = findSequenceByName(project.rootItem, sequenceName); if (sequence) { for (var i = 0; i < languages.length; i++) { var newSequenceN
This issue occurred first at 23.5, and it continues no matter how many times I update it. When I drag and drop the mogrt on a timeline, "Loading essential graphics" popup would stuck at 15%. It doesn't matter the mogrt is a stock one, which is provided by default. However I found that only the mogrt files contained in folders starting with [AE] makes problem, such as Sports Package or Video Gaming Package. It also occurs with the mogrt made by myself at AE. I don't use any external plug-ins. I already tried uninstall and reinstalling with CC Cleaner. My graphic driver is already updated. My AE version is same with Premiere. My desktop spec: OS: Windows 10 Home CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X Memory: 32GB Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 This is screenshot with Console View after applying a mogrt. It just stops after this one sentence. This is screenshot of Scratch Disks. I tried to find C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\com.adobe.ae.cap\P
After updating to 2025 I have been experiencing crashes after opening an existing project or a new project. I already found someone else posting about this issue (https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/premiere-pro-25-crashes-when-opening-projects/m-p/14952951) and after following these steps it still did not work. The program either crashes with the crash window or just closes. I have downloaded multiple Nvidia drivers and no change. Premiere pro 2024 works just fine and the other apps like After Effects, Audition and Media encoder work just fine in 2025.can someone help me?
Why should I constantly overload PP so that it works normally?
Hi! I assume this is gonna end up being a rhetorical question, but how do I make shapes with the pen tool that are of an EXACT HEIGHT AND WIDTH? It doesn't look like there's an easy/obvious way of doing this, which I find appalling. Of course, this is where someone derisively asks "why's that such a big deal?" Why wouldn't this be an option?
Hi guys, I'm a noob to PrPro moving from FCPX. I thought I would be off to a flying start as the software seemed fairly parallell. However, I can not work out how to import audio. As you can see from my screen shot, the targets are enabled but the audio symbol in the imported clips is greyed out. I have tried converting the .MOV to MP4 but the issue remains. I've done all the troubleshooting I can find on the issue. Re installed etc. I'm sure it's a user error and I am missing something but I have spent more hours than I care to admit trying to find a fix. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks

Please read this post closely before responding. It is a very specific problem. As an Video Editor of feature films and Television shows I often find myself looking for non dialogue room tone to fill in spaces in my audio tracks. There does occur spaces in my audio tracks where there is nothing on the timeline and I need to put in some room tone. This is typically done by looking for quiet bits in a take and cutting them in. Can this process be automated? Please do not suggest using "sound enhance" and clogging the post this is not the question. I already know how to clean-enhance up BG with Premiere audio enhance. This is just about filling holes with roomtone that can be so aggravating and time consuming to find and edit into an audio track. Thanks
How can I access the Red.Giant.Universe.2025.3.0 plugin's packages folder? In the new versions, there is no such folder, it only has a setup file for installation. But in the Red.Giant.Universe.2023.1.1 version, there is a separate folder. And this plugin is not visible in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore folder, and there are no effects or transitions in Premiere Pro! If I can access this folder (packages), maybe I can manually add them to the Common\Plug-ins\7.0 folder?
We get dozens of pre-produced promos for our content every month. They come in finished, except for graphics that show our airdates and times. By the time we get the promos, we know the airdates and times of the main content. But we have an editor who works one day a week doing nothing but tagging the promos and exporting them. Is there a way to use AI to tag airdate and time graphics (mostly lower thirds) onto these promos? Any help at all would be appreciated.
I am trying to add a morph cut to a talking head interview. When applying the transition I get "Failure can't apply to a single clip" Any ways to solve this?
Hey all, Running into an issue in 24.3.0 where exporting an EDL with transitions enabled is throwing off the timecode while turning off that setting in the EDL export gives a correct EDL. I have set the indeterminate framerate setting to match the timeline (23.976 in this case). We are using this EDL to communicate cut points to a colorist who is working with an XQ render of this project. We are trying an XML for now but it's frustrating to have a basic function like EDL export completely inaccurate. I have a screenshot below of our EDL settings attached as well as a screenshot of the two EDLs in TextEdit. You can see the timecodes shifting when it hits the transition which throws off the clip after it. Working on an Mac Studio M1 Ultra with OS X 14.4Premiere 24.3.0
Hello @Mathias Moehl The below script takes a selected sequence and moves it to a second project within the same Production.Works fine, but when I save the second project and re-open it, all the assets in the timeline of the moved sequence have been copied over to the 2nd project in a new bin called 'Recovered Clips'I'm trying to avoid redundant copies of my graphics/video files, etc. Is there any way to do this and still leverage the capacity of Productions to keep the assets in the original project, and just have the sequence in the second project?
Hi there, I'm kinda new to premiere pro, but while I was editing, I noticed that motion/transform resolution is 1352x760, while the video file and sequence is 2704x1520. What is happening, and how to fix this? Thanks for any help 🙂
Hi fellow Premiere Video Editors! I’m facing a dilemma with my video editing setup. I have both a desktop PC and a laptop, and recently, I've been receiving footage in 4K HEVC 10-bit 4:2:0. My usual workflow has been to convert the footage to ProRes proxies for better playback in Premiere, even though it takes time and space. However, today I received a lot of video files, and I decided to switch to my laptop (the one I typically use for work while traveling). I noticed that with the laptop, I don’t need to create proxies. I can edit directly from the HEVC files without any playback issues, even when applying effects and filters. My question is: Based on my setup, is the improved performance on my laptop due to the GPU, or does the processor also play a role? Ideally, I’d like to only upgrade the GPU on my desktop PC (where I’m more comfortable working), since upgrading the processor would mean replacing most if not all of the computer. Here are the specs of each machine:(Home
