I've seen Premiere Pro do this while rendering an mp4 file. It temporarily creates 3 files, then they all get merged at the end when the export is complete. Now (in both version 2025 and 2025.1) the 3 files don't get merged at the end, they just stay like they are in the screenshot attached. This is after Premiere has finished exporting and the dialogue box has been gone for over a few mins. I'm using an RTX 4080 super with latest driver, i9 14900k, 120gb DDR5 ram, and a Samsung T7 SSD.

I don't know if anyone else here has seen this. MBR Color Corrector 2  It's a color checker chart plugin for Premiere Pro CC 2018 and lower. Just stumbled upon it. I tried the free trial and it works. You can even change the colors on the chart if you have a different one. This is going to be easier than having to export an XML file and import into Resolve. Free version also only supports 8 bits per channel but I'm not sure what that means when Premiere automatically up converts to 32 bit.But I also think buying this is worth it.

I'm using my "razor tool" in my timeline to isolate parts of clips I want to use. I then tried to use the "label' function to color those clips so I can easily come back to them. Then when I click on the any part of the clip not labeled the entire line changes color to those isolated clips. Is this a bug?

Is there a convenient way to export individual clips from premiere/encoder without having to jump through a million hoops, clicks and export settings? Batch renaming would be lovely but not mandatory. I've gotten as far as dragging and dropping the clips from my timeline into a bin, and then Command + E to send them all to media encoder. The issue with doing this is that it will send the entire clip (Not solely the in-out points in said clip) to media enconder. There is no source range option in the export window when you have more than one clip selected for export. Furthermore, once I have all my clips in media encoder if I go through the trouble of selecting each one of my 300+ clips, go to export settings and change the source range option to "in and out point" instead of "Entire clip" it will only apply this to the first one and not the whole lot. It's pretty ridiculous that Premiere doesn't have a export individual clips option. Note: I don't wan

Hi all,I created some typewriting effects for some text titles, by adding keyframes (one letter at a keyframe) using the "Source Text" option.Now I want to change the font, but when I do, it only changes it to one keyframe, not the whole animation.I tried changing it from the Essential Graphics tab as well, not just from the Effect Controls, but still nothing.Do you have any idea how I could go around this?Cheers!

hi! I am trying to apply text based editing to my multicam video, here is what I have done:1. put the 2 videos into a bin, then generated the multicam video2. transcribed the source audio the problem is here: when i delete segments using the transcript, the time that the deleted segment becomes a black screen (for example, if i delete, using the text based editor, a 6 second segment, i get 6 seconds of a silent black screen instead of moving striaght on to the following segment) i am completely new to premiere pro so would appreciate any advice. thank you so much!

I am facing an Issue that I sometimes cannot copy or move sequences from one project to another inside of a production.  Normally I open two projects inside the production and I drag one sequence from one project window to the other and the sequence moves or gets copied if I press CTRL while I drag the sequence. But sometimes it does not work, showing me the "forbidden" sign. It seems to have something to do with the size or complexity of the sequence which fails to copy, or move.I am on PP 25.1 (Build 73) Regards Florian

Issue - Every time I try to export a sequence (doesn't matter what content or type of files) it crashes. Adobe Premiere Pro version number: 25.1.0 (Build 73)Operating system - macOS - Sequoia 15.3.1 (24D70)System Info:Apple M2 MaxRAM - 32GBSSDVideo format: MXF - AVC100CBG_1920_1080_H422IP@L41 & AVC_1920_1080_HP@L41Workflow details: Multicam sequence, with two different file formats. Not graded and no effects.Steps to reproduce: 1. File>Export>Media2. Change Name3. Usually tick Max Depth & Render Quality4. Choose CBR and set it to 155. Hit exportI have also tried not making these changes and had the same result.Expected result: An exported file.Actual result - The encoding window pops up and immediately closes. Any help is much appreciated.

Hello, I just updated my OS (on mac) to Big Sur, in order to update Premiere as well. My old 14.5 version opens without problem, but if I try to install some new versions (15.2, 15.4.1, 22), it never opens, and I see that it quits always when looking for "BCC layerdeformer.bundle"... Have you an idea about this ?Thanks !Florence

Hi, I'm trying to find a way to add a track in a sequence with a script. (as the last commands from the menu list "sequences", add or delete tracks). Fab.

Whenever I type using the text tool it activates the keyboard shortcuts instead of actually typing (selects other tools and functions).I mostly use a subtitle present which I drag onto the graphic and type from there. But niether do the present and standalone tool work.1. Drag preset onto graphic2. Click Graphic to highlight text box3. Type4. Shortcuts are used instead.I have double clicked the graphic in the timeline to full highlight the example text im replacing and still shortcuts are used whenever I type. This has only started happening after a month or 2 (been using the program and doing the same thing for a couple years).I'll attach pics in case I haven't described it well but I saw others having issues from 2017 and the solution was to restarted whilst holding shift and alt (this did not work for me). In Pic 2 you'll see typing i has selected Source IN on the timeline. In Pic 3 this is the only workaround I have for the time being - I cant select the graphic in the timelin

I'll put this in the suggestions box, but at the moment for the output files in Media Encoder randomly default to some previous directory even when the output location isn't set. (probably the last time you saved the queue). I would much prefer it if it mirrored AE's behaviour with Media Encoder where it creates a specific folder for output files inside the folder the project resides in. This does not seem to be an option at the moment and for the life of me I can't work out why htey can program this into After Effects but not Premiere.

Until recently, all installations functioned without issues. However, about three weeks ago, users began reporting that some imported video files display green and pink colors. The same video files (MP4) play fine in VLC.I’ve conducted extensive troubleshooting, including a thorough search of Adobe forums and other discussion boards. I’ve followed all recommended solutions—such as ensuring Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit, Enterprise license) are fully updated with the latest graphics drivers and system patches—but the issue persists. Additionally, I tested installing an add-on GeForce video card with 2GB RAM and the latest driver, yet the problem remains unresolved.Any guidance or suggestions you could provide to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Hi, I would be so grateful if anyone has a clue what I'm doing wrong with the colour management settings. I have an issue with my footage still being over exposed when editing in premiere pro 2025. I've been able to solve this issue in the past on my other computer, I now have a new MacBook Air M3.  The footage is recorded with iPhone 16 pro, I had the HDR settings on when recording (now turned off).  I've followed these steps: - Display colour management, auto detect log and auto tone mapping --> on.- Rec.709 selected. - Tried the three different gammas: 2.4, 2.2 and 1.96.  Truly grateful for any help or ideas on what I should do. 

There's a huge c70 proxy workflow issue with Premiere pro! Problem 01 - My main rec format is XF-AVC and I prefer my proxy files to be smallest i.e XF-AVC S (MP4)To my surprise premiere pro doesnt let me! There will be issue of audio channel. I also tried making same audio channel, still it won't let me link whatsoever.The workaround? I have to proxy in XF-AVC. Creating MXF proxy file. This allows me to link proxies irrisepective of audio channel for some reason.Problem 2 - I work a lot on B-rolls which are high frame rate 50/60 FPS. Now, If I interpret in premiere. Oops! you cant do that. Premiere will only interpret the main file but not proxy.Workaround? you have to take the video in timeline right click speed to 50%.This is a tedious task! if you are dealing with a lot of b-rolls.Final thoughts - I thought this is some techinical limitation. Outm of curiosity, I tried all this in Davinci resolve studio and voilla! everything works as intended! I can film in XF-A

I am working in 2025.1.0, my friend in 2024.6.4, and he should everytime downgraded my project through the website or through console panel (yeap, through console panel we can choose a version of premiere and whey will open project wich created in newes version).Why in Adobe After Effects have got this function, but not in Premiere? 

I'm working on a 360, stereoscopic timeline that will be played out by 6 PC's onto an 360 LED screen. I'll need to split the master 12816px x 4096px timeline up into x12 (2136x2048px each). The stereo will be top/bottom. Is there any way of doing this easily in Premiere or other software? (I'm not creating the stereo, that's  been shot in-camera). A colleague has a probable solution using a script for FFmpeg but avoiding rendering out the huge master in one piece would be good!

Hello! I am going from my Windows workplace to Mac. And I want to use my Windows keyboard shortcuts on there, but I can't find a way to convert CTRL to CMD and ALT to OPTION. Is there a way to import my Windows keyboard shortcuts to Mac and do that automatically, or is there a third-party app that could do that? It would be such a headache to make every keyboard shortcut (hundreds of combinations) manually. Thanks for the replies!Mihkel

Hi! Im having issues importing an image sequence which has been happening a lot lately and I need help finding the issue. I havve also named the sequence files to avoid any issue which still havent worked. The first image works and anything else has an error message. My colleaugue has been able to import the exact same sequences of images on his compouter with no issues. Any help is appreciated!

Hi, I just noticed that when I create a new sequence in Premiere Pro and import a video into the timeline, there are gaps on the left and right sides. It’s not a huge problem, but I don’t know why this is happening. In the sequence settings, the frame size is correctly set to 1920x1080, but on the right side of the window, it says '120:67'. This number should be 16:9, not 120:67. I'll add screenshots so you can understand better. Thanks!

I wanted to open a project i was working on the day before. A pop upo appeared saying something about an effect not displaying correctly, i can get roid of it to open the project, and could add the effect later again. I clicked ok.  Now the effect is gone, i have no idea how to get it back and als installing the effect pack again did not help.  What is this? I have never seen this pop up before. How can I egt my effect back? Where would the file location be, so I can look for it manually?? Thank you so much 🙂
