Hey all!Why can't I do any opacity setting in the adjustment layer in premiere pro? All I can do is color correction, but not keyframing any opacity work. Please help.

Since the removal of the essential graphics tab, now replaced with the properties tab, it is literally impossible to replace the source for an image in a motion graphics template. The hamburger menu that would previously contain the Replace footage option is now completely gone with no substitute, thanks adobe

Hey, all!I'm trying to put text along a circle, and from my quick search it seems the only way to do this would've been using Legacy Title, but this function no longer exists in Premiere Pro 2024. Is there any other way to do this while staying in Premiere Pro?Thanks!

Just saw the new Premiere update (v.22) and improved decoding for 10bit 422 H264 and HEVC footage. Sounds great. But will this not improve playback performance of H264 and HEVC footage on an AMD system? I have: AMD 5950x CPUAMD 6800XT GPU64GB rametc. (I also have a boxed 3080 card if you think that'll be better than the 6800xt...but went with the 6800xt because of puget system's test results for multicam which I do often. We only work with Sony footage (H264 and HEVC...mostly 10bit stuff)

I was in the middle of editing one of my videos when the program window started to display only the layer being trimmed within the timeline, it also displays a black screen when moving a clip in the timeline (but it still displays the beginning and end of the clips that I move into it). However the program window still displays all layers normally when paused and played. Originally my preferred program window would only show the frame the play head was on and not show me any previews for trimming or moving videos. This is happening between projects so I believe I had accidentally hit a bind I am unaware of and changed how the program window displays my timeline or misclicked a setting and set it as such. I have tried reinstalling Premier pro, changed workspaces, and clearing the preferences but to no avail. (I apologize if this is a stupid question but I don't have enough experience with premiere pro to know exactly what I am doing incorrectly or posses the knowhow to easily find the s

I've experienced 2 very annoying things with the blue timeline line that moves along as a clip plays. 1) It will be extremely choppy and hard to follow as it moves along.2) It will not move at all while a clip is playing and remain at a standstill until I pause the clip, and only then the position updates. This NEVER used to happen before the most recent update, and it's making the editing process extremely annoying. 

I used to record videos using my old iPhone Xr and they would export normal. I recently bought an iPhone 13 and now all of my videos export over exposed. In the timeline and the render in "export" the video is fine, but in the export the video comes out terrible. Any way to fix this?

When I drag 4k clips into my 1080p timeline, if I drag clips one at a time everything works as expected, but when I drag in multiple clips, only every other clip is scaled to 1080p. I've tried changing my Fit to Frame setting, as well as restarting premiere and it is reproducable in multiple project files.    

I have a 4K timeline in which I also have imported some 1080p clips. I have set my pref. to "fit to frame."  It isn't working. I've reimported these clips several times and still cannot get it to work. I've had to manually change every one. Very tedious and time consuming.  Please help. What am I doing wrong?

 I'm experiencing a recurring issue with Premiere Pro (version: 25.1.0, Build 73))on Windows (version: 24H2, Build 26100.3194). While working the app freezes and I have to end the process using task manager. Hi, When editing in Adobe Premiere Pro,  I am getting black lines when using a transition I got from Envato. I have sent the premiere file to a friend and they don't seem to have the issue when running things on their computer.  I have attached a video to better display the issue I am having. When I unclick uniform scale (as you can see in the video) the blakc lines go away, but the zoom transition doesn't really work if I do that. Hello, I am new to editing and I am working on a project where I am required to synch audio with footage before I can work on anything. The video file doesn't actually have audio to help me synch and it's shorter than the audio file (Footage is 10 mins and audio about 50). I do have another file which is the same length as the audio and I think the way to do this is to use the longer clip as an indicator to synch my video first, as in match the clips, and then synch audio with video. Am I correct in that or is there another way to do this?I can provide more info if needed.

I used to be able to make micro audio fades quickly and easily - fade ins and outs that were less than one video frame in length. Now, with some new update, the only way I can do those micro fades is if I switch to audio time units in the timeline settings. Otherwise it only lets me audio fade by video frame intervals. Is there a way to fix this?

I can't find an answer to this.I want to animate the path of a rectanglular box within the text properties window with ease in / ease out, not linear keyframes.If I right click the keyframe in the Effect Controls window, the only option is linear.Does anyone know if it is possible to create a bezier curve on shape path keyframes?To be clear, I want this to happen within the text properties window, not as a separate layer in my sequence.

I had a couple more exports to do this morning, left over from a full day's work yesterday. I can't get Premiere to work well at all, especially exporting as h264. Exporting in ProRes seems to work pretty well. but of course I need to deliver in the smaller .mp4 formats. I need premiere to be more consistent.

Just starting off by saying I do alot of technical work such as penetration testing and development. I don't want to sound bad but who ever designed the features of premiere must be dealt with swiftly. The overall the intuitiveness of premiere is the worst thing I have ever seen and I have dealt with many janky applications before. It's not the the application is janky it's more so the person who designed it purposely tried to make it as unintuitive as possible. Almost like 1 person made the entire UI and ignored any feedback from the outside.For a company that solely makes these products and has such a high reputation and cost this actually unbelievable. i give it a 2/10 it's a video editor that can't edit videos very well unless you understand all the gimicks you put into the program instead of just making things nice and easy. I want to change the shadow tint ‘s value by using the cep api，but I can't find it in the Scripting Guide   

I am tryin to edit a multi angle concert. All Audio works fine until I right click my files, go to Multi-Camera and click enable. Then my audio doesnt play back anymore. I have "Audio follows video" selected in the muli-cam playback monitor as well. If i disable Multi-Camera on the files the audio works again. Please help. I sent the audio away to be mixed/mastered and want to get all my video editing done for when the file is back on monday.

it takes like a couple of seconds to update instead of the regular instant and that realls slows my editing, takes me out the zone and makes it impossible to reach deadlines. my specs are:Intel Ultra 924RAMRTX 4060

My fonts were working fine yesterday, I have re installed the font and Premiere but I am still having this issue. The font when selected to be regular bold appears as a different font - looks like Helevetica. As light or semi bold it works, but bold does not.

Dear folks, I am trying to copy custom created metadata from a project on my machine to another machine and that does not work. Please help!!! I’d even pay for the support here. Steps on my machine:Metadata Display Window > New SchemaTo that Schema, I add a property > For my client I created 11 custom fields (see screenshot attached)I fill the fields with keywordsBy adding the data to a customized field, the metadata is not only part of the premiere project, but it gets part tf the file. For some MXF und even mp4 files files a sidecar file is created. On clients machine:All footage incl. sidecar files copiedPremiere project copiedOpened and here comes the part, where it doesn’t work. I was assuming, that my custom metadata fields would show up in the project panel as they would on my machine, but they don’t. Bonjour,Je rencontre ce problème pour la première fois.À l'export sur Adobe Media Encoder, je n'arrive pas à avoir la vidéo ni le son de mes fichiers .MOV.Media Encoder m'affiche "avertissement" avec un panneau. J'ai reçu un message d'erreur m'indiquant de me rendre sur Creative Cloud mais je n'avais aucune indication et je ne savais pas quoi faire.Ppour précision, j'arrive à exporter les sous-titres, le texte, les fichiers .PNG et .M4A de la vidéo.Ce que je ne comprends pas, c'est que j'ai simplement ajouté des fichiers vidéos à une vidéo déjà existante. Je n'avais pas ce problème avant. Et la vidéo sortait complète lors du dernier export.Si vous pouvez m'aider.Merci beaucoup. 

For a project, I regularly have to rename a lot of timelines based on a template from Excel. I used to do this manually, which takes a lot of time. Now I would like to automate this with the help of Automation Blocks. Unfortunately, I don't know what the appropriate script has to look like to realise this. Based on another script I have tried this so far as you can see on the screenshot. Unfortunately it does not work like this. What do I have to change to make it work?
