Whenever I import a video, it randomly turns into a grayish hue. It's not how the original video was taken. I've tried everything I can think of to fix it (I'm still a beginner), but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me out? It's happening with all my clips at the moment and other times; it doesn't happen at all—it's strange. I've attached a photo below.
I am using Premiere Pro 22.6.2 (Build 2). I have Premiere transcribe a sequence and check the box for it to recognize different speakers. All good. But when I click on the speaker in the transcription window, it does not allow me to change to another speaker. And when I choose to edit the speaker name, the same does not save. I used to be able to do this and it's a great feature. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?
How can i fix this?
I can't see the preview of the video, there is sound but no image, when I press the video expansion button on the top right, the video appears, but when I press ESC and go back to the project I was working on, it stays in a black or white screen and the video freezes. How can I fix this?
I just started having this issue over the past few days. Recently, my video exporting process has been extremely and exponentially longer. It used to export rather quickly, but now it gets stuck "Rendering Required Audio Files" for 30 mins to an hour or longer. I am exporting videos that are around 20 mins long for context. I thought it could be that it needed an update, so I updated the software to the current 2025 version but the problem remains. I tried deleteing my media cache but it hasn't helped at all. Its really frustrating because it worked completely fine just a few days ago- then just simply refuses to work.
Hi everyone, I was recently working on my project, it was a long video in 4k and a high bitrate, so the final render was supposed to weigh 70 gigabytes. I rendered it with hardware encoding and wanted to watch the resulting video, but about halfway through (the entire video is about 50 minutes), the video just got stuck and wouldn't play any further. I rendered it a few more times, changed the settings, at first nothing changed, but then I realized that if you reduce the bitrate, the size of the final video predicted by Premiere decreases and then the video plays further and gets stuck closer to the end. In addition, I saw that no matter what file size Premiere estimated in the render window, the file always ended up being 40 gigabytes. That is, the video played only as long as it fit into 40 gigabytes of information; anything that went beyond these limits simply got stuck. In this case, no rendering error appears, the rendering simply ends as expected. Then I changed th
Hi. I'm creating subtitles in Premiere Pro 2021 by importing prepared SRT files and creating a subtitle track by dragging the SRT files onto the timeline. The SRT files contain subtitles in several languages, among them are Hebrew and Arabic, which are oriented right-to-left. For the left-to-right languages everything works great. But right-to-left languages are appearing with all characters in reverse order."This is not good" appears as "doog ton si sihT"In Preferences > GraphicsI've set Text Engine to "South Asian and Middle Eastern"I've set Default Paragraph Direction to "Right to Left"(see image below)I restarted Premiere and re-imported the SRT file. These steps did not help.Does anyone happen to know how to fix this issue? There was a time when Adobe software didn't support right-to-left languages (in Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) and the result was the same as what I'm seeing now in Premiere Pro subtitles. Back when this was happening in Photoshop and Illustrator, I rec
I have some MOGRT in a timeline.Sometimes is useful to add markers to sections in the MOGRT for reference but sometimes they get in the way. When you delete a marker the whole clip is deleted and when you undo the marker is then gone.Is there a more efficient way to delete individual markers on the MOGRT segment? Thank you, Daniel
Please help me, my premiere pro was doing just fine. Suddenly I can't click/drag/move anything in the timeline/work bar, I can't alt + drag to copy, I can't do anything. It's like lagging but it's not. But I can still play the video just fine.
I'm wondering if there's a way to correctly replace seceral clips of footage in the timeline using the same timecodes in the replacement media as the current media in the timeline. Here's my scenario: I have an intro animation. I have chopped little sections of this animation up and sped those sections up so that that key points in the animation hit the beat of the music correctly. Probably 20 little sections total between normally timed, and sped up sections, and now the animation lines up with the music. Great! I have the exact same animation file, except it's in Spanish and I need to replace all the English animation clips with the Spanish ones, but keep all the timing adjustments. Right clicking the animation and selecting "Replace with" bin or source clip doesn't work as it just replaces each section with the clip starting over at the beginning and "match frame" would be what I expect to work, but it usually gives me an error about not enough medi
I have a new Macbook Pro (M4 Pro Chip, 48GB memory, 1TB) and I am trying to connect it to a Dell U2723QE external monitor. The issue is that I am editing video footage in Premiere and during playback, I am getting some strange lag and issues with the image (almost a banding kind of effect during quick camera movements?). It happens on both the monitor and the macbook screen when they're connected, but when I disconnect, it looks fine on my laptop. I'm having this issue with both 1080p and 4K footage. I'm using proxies in premiere, and the issues also occur when playing the raw footage in other applications. I currently have the monitor connected USB-C to USB-C with 60hz refresh rate set for the external monitor. I also tried connecting with an ultra high speed hdmi cable and continue to have the playback issue on the monitor (though it works on the macbook). Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might fix this? Thanks so much.
I'm running app.openDocument(premiere_project_path) to open a project. That is working well. But if I already have project open it will close that and open the new project in it's place. Is there a way to open projects in a new window if another premiere instance is already running?
Hi!Working in a big organisation would it be possible/realistic to smoothly work with both Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve and side by side. This meaning sharing projects, templates and graphics between the two. For example using the same graphic templates for lower thirds, credits etc without having to maintain two different setups? Thanks in advance for all input on this matter!
When I nest footage, the nest seems to treat the footage like a screenshot of the footage rather than using the original footage itself. I.E. if I make a 1080 video from 4k footage and use that extra resolution for zooming and cropping in post, when I nest footage that extra resolution disappears. Here is a screenshot, both are from a high-resolution image when fit to screen, and then zoomed in to %100. On the left side is when done from the timeline directly, the image on the right side is nested and the nested footage was then zoomed in. Clearly, there is loss on the right side. Is there a way (like a "scale from source material") option for nested footage? I need to "zoom the nest" because when I work with chroma key footage moving and zooming the layers independently is a nightmare trying to maintain the correct posisions and zoom levels relative to each other. Especially if the background is a different aspect ratio than the top layer. So yes I know that I can double cli
Hi!I use Adobe Premier Pro, with the following preferences;Win 10CPU: Intel Core i3-10100F 4-Core 3.6GHZRAM: 16 GBGPU: Radeon rx 570 series 4gbAdobe Premier Pro 22.2Other Plugins I still use;Red Giant Universe 6.1.0NewBlueFXBorisFX \ Sapphire 2022 AdobeI usually work in full hd, but it's often inconvenient that when I add a plugin to the video, the software thinks a bit too much. Very rarely, sometimes the program crashes when I try to work with a more demanding effect.(No response.)I've pushed the hardware requirement to use as much RAM as the final value, if possible, but it doesn't seem to have enough. What hardware component can I use to avoid this in the future? What should I make more powerful in the pc configuration?I usually set the playback quality to 1/4 so that I can work quickly and easily, because if I set it to 100%, all my projects would be quite slow and groaning. (I always try to clear the cache regularly)These are small things, how can I fix them to avoid more serious
Hi everyone, I'm looking for a tennis scoreboard to edit some tennis matches videos for Youtube. I use Premiere Pro to edit, and I can't find on internet a tennis scoreboard template. I would like to be able to customize the scoreboard directly on premiere pro. So the file could be in MOGRT format. I need to be able to customize the player names, the scores... Someone to help me ? I send you here some examples of the type of scoreboards I'm expecting
I consistently (at least weekly) have this issue where I attempt to launch Premiere and I get a loading screen but no splash screen. It says I have Premiere open, but I can't open any files or import any media. The only thing that SOMETIMES fixes this is resetting my preferences and clearing my media cache, but that doesn't always work. I am often having to uninstall and reinstall the application. Has anyone else experienced this, and do you have suggestions? Could it have anything to do with the RAM available on my computer?
every time i try to add a motion graphic it gives me an error code im not understanding why ive tried everything
Hello! I'm new to using this program. I've started shooting in Dlog-M with my DJI drone. However, after I export the video, it doesn't play back; it's like a still image. Exporting files shot in normal mode works fine, with no issues. I've reinstalled Premiere Pro and the problem persists. Trying older versions also resulted in the same issue. Does anyone know how to resolve this? I suspect I need to adjust some settings. Currently, I'm using CapCut without any problems, but it's frustrating not being able to use Premiere.
I'm working on a project where I need to maintain colored text formatting when copying from Word documents to Premiere Pro. Currently, when I copy colored text from Word and paste it into Premiere, all the text appears black, losing all color formatting. I've already tried copying the text to Adobe Illustrator and InDesign first as an intermediary step, but the colors still don't transfer - the text remains black when pasted. I know that some formatting like superscript can be preserved when going through InDesign first (as mentioned by another user), but I specifically need to maintain the different text colors from my Word document. Has anyone found a solution for preserving text colors when copying from Word to Premiere Pro? I'd prefer not to manually recreate all the colors for each text element as I have numerous text blocks with various color formatting. Any workarounds or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.
hHi guys, i'm having a problem with mogrt via script, but i can't find any solution. Maybe someone can help me so i will share the scenario. I'm injecting mogrt via script, taking the text content from a formatted sheet, and the injecting works well, but once the mogrt is in premiere timeline the text box panel in the 'properties' tab is empty. Under the Effect control everything works fine and once I change the text in the effect control on the properties panel the text suddenly appear on the other tab. The real big problem of this situation is that if a try to retrieve the text style via code i can see only the text value. After making visible the text on the other panel i have access to the complete string, showing style info. Moreover i think there is no other workaround to access the text style... I would like to have your opinion. Thank you Thank for your support.
Premiere Pro Keeps Crashing – I’M LOSING MY MIND!Seriously, Adobe, what is going on?! Premiere Pro keeps crashing and closing randomly with NO errors. I have tried EVERYTHING. I'm running Premiere Pro v 24.1I've had a slew of buggy issues with Premiere just in the past week - mostly around extremely poor performance ... and it all came together where the entire application virtually ground to a halt in the middle of a project. My customized workspace, which I've used for years without any issues, is laid out for a dual monitor setup, and one of the features I have tabbed/docked in a window is the timecode window. This is the window that becomes available when you select: Window > TimecodeThe window is still available, but it can no longer be docked with another frame/window - It now appears to only be a floating window .. which makes it's usage a lot less convenient, as it must be opened and closed each time you use it, otherwise it's in the way. In addition, I came to realize that the timecode window appeared to be the culprit that ground my Premiere app to a halt. I discovered this after I tried re-creating my custom workspace - (i ended up d
For a video, I need to add subtitles in Tigrinya. Any idea how to do this? I have not found a version of the Tigrinyan letters that I can download for Adobe. When I just copy the text into Adobe Premiere, it is impossible to read the signs.
