Hey, everybody. I'm new here and would like to ask for advice right away. After installing adobe premiere, I downloaded the tutorial videos, but they are incredibly stuck when playing. Rendering and desktop videos for editing work fine, I only have a problem with tutorial videos. Does anyone know what is wrong? Thank you all for advice.

i am making a really simple video - just some facial close ups i filmed on my iphone, but when i put it onto premier pro and then export it, it basically makes the whole face pure white and i havent even adjusted any of  the colours, exposure etc... plz help!!

Adobe, please help, I've been working on a project for the last several days, adding open captions and so forth, and for whatever reason, today (on the third day of the project), when I choose to adjust my open caption length (each separate caption), they decide to delete. So, for example, I have a huge sequence of captions. When reviewing my project, I found a mistake within two captions that I wanted to correct, i.e. I wanted to split a sentence into two separate captions so that the captions would flow with the dialogue. I deleted the entire (initial, full length) caption to create the following two. I created the first (following) one, and when trying to adjust the length (from the initial 3 seconds) of such caption, premier decides to delete the caption. Same would go for the next one I would try to create. The project is due today and this is very frustrating. I've searched the web and have found nothing. Any help?

"Play audio while scrubbing" turns itself off every time I close Premiere pro. So when I start the programme, I have to tick the empty box.Why?I use PP 12.1.2

I am new to Premiere and am looking for some simple animations I can use to have a graphic icon pop up for 3 seconds and then disappear. I need to add 60-80 custom graphics throughout the course of a long-form video, so ease of swapping out the icons is essential. Additionally, I need to be able to very easily and quickly change the position of the icon once in use in Premiere. Up until recently I was doing my video editing in Capcut. Capcut has 1000s of animations built right into the program with no need to import a file like a mogrt, which makes adding extremely easy and fast. I purchased a decklink 4K extreme 12G and own a Flanders DM 241 monitor connected via SDI to the decklink card. Any timelines in PrPro or AE above 2k resolution, IE, any 4k timelines have "No Signal" to my 1080p monitor.  Blackmagic Desktop video setup is installed and working properly.  I've talked to support from FSI & blackmagic. Both have said I have done everything correct.  Blackmagic support said "It would appear that everything is set accordingly, so most likely the issue you are having is coming from Premiere and not the card itself. Hello,Every time I try to drag an effect onto my video clips, a circle with a slash through it and hand pops up (like a no sign) and it won't let me.   I have tried:-uninstalling and reinstalling (I have the latest version)-restarting computer-this adobe clean up program:https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/sync-creative-cloud-files.html#check-sync-status Does anyone have an idea what could be going on? Thanks. 

Hey, I have a project file that will not open. It crashes Premeire at the same point (34%) while opening and I can not seem to figure it out. Other projects open fine. I've tried Premiere 25.1, 25 and the last version of 24. I've tried older auto-saves and of course tried deleting the caches, resetting preferences and whatnot. I did also try importing the project into a new project. I've even tried opening it up without my media drives attached, so everthing should offline. What else can I try?

I am new to Frame.io integration with Adobe CC.  I subscribe to the whole bundle. The first hurdle I was trying to understand is how I add my clients to a project so they are notified when I add new content or need review.  In the + add member it seems it only allows 2 people. I get this:Exceeded account limit of 2 Members. To add more members, subscribe to Pro.So as I understand it, this feature isn't for clients? Rather for team members to add or edit content. Can anyone assist in the proper way to add clients so they can review material? 

Caught a new strange glitch    

When I updated to version 25, I couldn't export the work. The Premier pro window immediately popped up.

I made a 15 second commercial for Paramount in Premiere.When I uploaded it there were various error messages about bitrate, etc.After fixing those, I got a CODEC error.Their helpdesk said their system only recognized the following CODECs: avc1, apcs, apcn, ncpa, apch.None of those are options from the media export menu in Premiere. How do I convert my video to one of those CODECs?Many thanks!

Motion scale in Premiere software would not working when I applied a speed ramp.

Hi ThereI'm trying to encode Chapter Markers, which I've added to my project in Premiere Pro into my mp4 file.So far I've added the Markers to my project, and made them "chapter markers". Then I exported my project to the Media Encoder with the H.264 preset. But the exported file didn't contain the Chapter markers. At least VLC, Windows Media Player and iTunes were unable to pick them up.I've also tried MPEG2 Blu-Ray, MPEG2 DVD and H.264 Blu-Ray, which gave me Video files without audio and no chapter markers as well. I suppose they could be inside the other 3 to 5 files. But I would like to have one file, not 3 or 5.I've seen tutorials on how to do this with Encore but it has been discontinued hasn't it? So this doesn't help either. Besides the question of how this is done, does the duration of the chapter marker matter for the export?At least in my testing so far it didn't make a difference. The exported file remained without chapter markers.Thanks for your help.AS

I have been having an issue with Premiere Pro 25.1 constantly crashing on my Mac Studio M2 Max.   It started near the end of last year and it seems to be in new projects.   I can open old projects and make changes fine.   I can open the projects that crash on my 15" Macbook Pro fine.  It's just slow so that isn't a solution.   I had just finished a 20 minute documentary at the end of last year and it was fine on this machine.    I did have the Logictech Creative MX Consule installed.  I thought maybe that was it.  I have unistalled all the drivers for it now.   Still happens.   It happens when projects are in different places like an SSD or our server.   Still happens.   What am I missing?   It's very frustrating. Just a generic crash.  No error message.

why is my export frame from sequence way too bright on export?   I am using premiere 2025.  I tried to turn off color management but that is no longer in preferences.  tried to look in project settings it's not there either.  fruistrating wasting so much time just trying to export a frame. also tried to go to File -> Export -> Media and choose PNG and turn off effects, but it does not export a frame it wants to export a video, strange. thank you  

Massive lag in Premiere Timeline. No response to several clicks when selecting or click and dragging for example. Very disappointing considering this is on a brand new M1 Ultra Mac Studio. Specs below. As you’ll see in the screen recording, the timeline is unresponsive often for several seconds and is really hurting my speed and creative flow. I have tried running on Apple Silicon natively as well as using Rosetta. Both are laggy. Premiere Version 22.4.9 (Build 57)Playback resolution is 1/2High Quality Playback is disabled52 GB RAM available for Premiere Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Metal) selected Could this be a hard drive issue? It seems like the timeline is lagging regardless, but I do have a ton of media for this project connected through two G-technology hard drives. The Main drive is G-tech thunderbolt. Hello - does anyone have an answer for how to ensure that any low-mode steadicam shots where the inverted camera setup shows in Davinci will also show in Premiere - we are getting flip-flop between Premiere offline and Davinci grade with some shots and it would be good to know a solution 

I'm at a loss right now and unfortuanately on a fast approaching deadline. I'm using Premier Pro on both my desktop and laptop.  For whatever reason, sound files brought into workspace on laptop version are sped up and choppy. Both music files and the matching audio files paired with video files. This is not the case on desktop.  I worked with my IT department to make sure laptop version is completely updated, as is desktop.  So I should be working with similar functionality. The only thing I'm thinking of is that I may have unwittingly changed up some kind of audio setting that is giving me this issue.   Any suggestions for a fix?  Thanks in advance. 

Hello, I want to add audio to an image (e.g. when a checkmark appears add a checkmark sound) How can I achieve that?

As I stated in the title, I only want a transcription from 1 specific track so I can delete the pauses. I have 3 video clips and 3 audio tracks and I want Premiere to cut accordingly to Track3's pauses.But the problem is that the delete button is greyed out when I'm generating a static transcript from Track3. How do i Fix this?

Hello,I've recently come across a bug in Premiere Pro.  At least, I think it's a bug. I have multiple sequences going in a project for various things.  One's for broll, one's for the rough cut, etc.Whenever i move from sequence to sequence, my playhead automatically jumps to the beginning of the sequence.  This is has only started happening recently, probably within the last update or so. It is slowing down my process dramatically, as I need to keep the play head where I last had it, as I'm working through my rough cut sequence adding various things to it, music, broll, etc. Has anyone else seen this issue arise?
