When exporting a video and selecting the file destination, instead of the file exploere popping up, nothing pops up and priemere is effectively soft locked. When trying to select anything else, you get the ding telling you that you need to make a selection in the window however like I said there is no window, this has happened 3 times in a row when doing this and the only thing that seems to help is waiting on the file destination long enough for the preview text to fade in.

I recently decided to give Premiere Pro CC a try and I'm wanting to add multiple effects to a clip that I have masked, but when adding a new effect it adds it to the entire clip and not just the masked portion; is there a way in which to: a) add multiple effects to a masked portion of a clipb) copy a free drawn bezier and apply it to a new effect within the same clip, or do I have to draw a new bezier mask every time I add a new effect?...or am I just being dumb? Any input would be very much appreciated.TD

Hi everyone, With a friend we recorded and edited a video clip. We wanted to split the colorgrading part but my friend works on an older version of premiere pro while I'm on the 25 one.To give him the project, I exported the project in XML. In the .prproj file, the colorgrading was done with lumetri in adjustment layers, not directly in the clips. He can correctly open the file and go on with the edit on premiere pro 2021 but the adjustment layers with the colorgrading appear hatched, as when premiere can't find the source of a clip. The colorgrading obviously does not appear.Do you know what could I do to send him tge colorgrading part ? Should I copy/paste the lumetri settings directly into the clips or is there a way to export the adjustment layers separately ? Maybe my question is stupid, I don't even know if it's possible, it's the first time I do colorimetry so any help is more than welcome ! Thanks in advance

I don't have very up-to-date equipment and I made a 1/4 ProRes proxy for the original 4k clips. But despite this, the playback was terrible, it was actually like a slideshow. Desperate, I started rummaging through the software monitor settings, I turned on HQ playback and suddenly a miracle happened - smooth playback returned. I couldn't believe my eyes and turned off the HQ playback back and saw the slideshow again. This illogical circumstance cost me a lot of time and nerves.

In Premiere Pro (v25.1.0 Build 73 on Windows 11 computer) and Media Encoder. If I go to export media, select the location. Then try and rename a folder using the explorer dialogue box that comes up... It consistently crashes every time I try. I can go in, hit rename on a folder, rename it, but as soon as I escape the renaming it crashes. Anyone else having this issue? More info:Windows 11 v24H2OS Build 26100.2894CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3D 16 CoreRam: 64G DDR5GFX: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090Hard Drive: Working off a network share - Synology Rackstation over 10gbit fibre, but also happens if I try and rename something on the desktop for example. With is an NVME drive. And same happens on an internal mechanical drive.

Tengo un problema que no me había ocurrido nunca y que me está volviendo loco. Me ocurre en la última versión de de Premiere y de Windows, pero me pasaba en versiones anteriores de Premiere antes de actualizar. El problema es que los archivos que exporto son bastante más grandes de lo estimado, me pasa tanto en h264 como en h265.  A veces incluso probando a bajar el bitrate no bajan de peso. He probado a exportar exactamente el mismo proyecto con exactamente las mismas preferencias en mi ordenador portatil y el peso sí que es correcto, de hecho es incluso menor del estimado. Imaginé que era un problema del equipo asi que lo formateé y reinstalé Premiere desde cero borrando todas las preferencias. Pues no ha servido de nada, sigue pasando lo mismo. No sé si a alguien le ha pasado esto alguna vez y puede ayudarme. Aclaración: En el ordenador que ocurre tengo una 3060 TI y en el portatil una MX450, mucho menos potente.

Hello, I bought a Mac Mini with M4 processor and I need to adjust the size of the interface in Premier pro since I use three monitors two monitors with HD and one with 4K resolution and with monitor in 4K its scale on interface too small and unworkable. its some way how to scale UI on the 4k screen ?  Thanks for answer

If i want to select for example only three random clips on the timeline track 1 to be rendered for a smooth not choppy playback, why can't i just highlight the clips and hit "render selection" ? The only way i know to do this is to set in and out points and then hit render in and out, however that will then also render usually clips on the above tracks as well which i did want to be included.

Hi guys,Out of no where i am having this issue with my preview monitor. Never had an issue before but what is happening is that instead of my preview monitor opening up full screen on my second screen it opens up half the size and sits right in the middle of both screens!So far i have tried...- Re-launching Premiere Pro cc (latest update)- Disabling and re enabling the reference monitor in preferences/playback- System restart- Double checked my monitors configuration in windows Display Settings.Nothing seems to work...I'm running the latest cc 2018 version of premiere.My monitor set up is as follows.1.  HP Z32x - Main monitor, used for most of the premiere interface.2. Hi all I use to export my projects with 'Match Source (High Bitrate)' and 'H.264' setting. After the latest update, it will not let me use this combination.If I choose Match Source (High Bitrate) first it changes H.264 to MPE2.If I choose H.264 first it changes Match Source (High Bitrate) to High Quality 1080pMost of the projects I work on are either 1x1, 4x5 or 9x16 therefore Match Source has alway been working for me and the 1080 will export in a wrong format than the actual project.. Any idea why this occurs? Benny

Hi , I am trying to recreate a tutorial for an animated countdown timer using clock wipe transition. However my clock wipe transition is functioning very differently from the tutorial, and I'm not sure where to begin with the fixing!   The clock wipe transition was setup to span over 31 seconds of the countdown, however it only starts after 20s at the 10sec mark. The transition also looks more like a diagonal linear wipe instead of the clock wipe. The transition ends swiftly after 1 second. Everything appears correct in the effect controls however, and the preview of the wipe looks correct too. I was followed this tutorial from youtube:https://youtu.be/q5DhgtNMShU  I cannot find anybody with a similar problem online. As seen in the GIF below, I'm simply trying to cycle through my markers on the timeline. Selecting the Next Marker using the Markers window (Or by using Shift-M shortcut) automatically select a clip below as well. This forces the Markers to dissappear as they are markers on the Sequences timeline and not the individual clips.  Is this normal behavior?  Is there a way to tell Premiere not to automatically select clips when I click on a marker?  THank you!! I'm on v25.1 (Build 73)Windows 11

I recently had an issue where when opening premiere it would get stuck on the loading screen and wouln't go further. when creating a crash report it gave me some solutions, these were something with re-granting permission to the documents folder and updating premiere. i first did the permission thing and premiere openend. but in the app all my project files were gone, i managed to find them in finder but when opening all files were greyed out and my custom presets were gone. i found out a new profile had been created, and i do not know what this means or how it happend but everytime i try replacing the files and adding my old presets the app just freezes.

Hello, is there a way to display the Premiere preview output in a 180º stereo project on the Oculus 3 glasses?

Has anyone experienced random glitches with time remapping in Adobe Premiere Pro? For example, when I speed up a clip using time remapping, the audio either disappears or desyncs completely—even though the audio track wasn’t supposed to be affected. I’ve tried unlinking the audio and video, but the problem persists. Is this a bug, or am I missing a specific setting to prevent this? Also, does using proxies or nested sequences impact time remapping accuracy?

Why do I get a strange widget when I alt click on a marker instead of the banner

From the moment I updated to the new version, a very serious problem started!When recording at 60fps and importing to a 24fps sequence, and accelerating the clip to "normal speed", the image becomes full of stutters! This never happened with any previous versions. Too serious!

Hello - I 'm editing a video clip my playback handle is over the section where I want to add text.I go to the Graphics option on the top of the screen. I go to Essential Graphics, I click on T to create a text layer.  I click on the video and whatever I press doens't work.  I try to create a text box, and if I press H, PP activates the Hand tool.When I Press T, I don't get any text options.I went to the Edit section of the Essential Graphics and I can't even add a Text layer there.I have gone to YouTube to watch a bunch of video to add text.  And I'm doing it right, per the video, but PP is not being cooperative. Help.

dont use the 25.1 version its not stady
