Questions

I have recently run into this problem when I export a sequence where my audio render times (separate from the ACTUAL render) takes hours.  Even on a small 5 minute video, it takes approx. 1 hour.  My Windows-based PC is more than competent and has all drivers updated.   I am using the latest version of Premiere and have not changed my workflow in anyway.I've looked on other forums and tried everything but to no avail (unchecking Generate Peak file, cleaning out cache, unchecking Match Sequence settings in the export menu, starting a new project, etc). The only thing I have noticed with the project is that my audio files are 24 bit and the sequence is 32.  Not sure how much this affects the export but I don't think it would; it hasn't in the past.  I have attached a photo for what I am experiencing.Anyone else have this issue or know a fix?

Hi everyone!   I have a video mockup here which I downloaded from Pexels. I was wondering how I can insert my design which will response to the change in motion and size of the mockup.   I've created a mask in the video mockup and inserted my design underneath as a Graphic layer. But what happens is that the size of the mask stays the same as the video plays, and the design doesn't enlarge either to correspond to the shape of the mask. I'm still fiddling around with the Responsive Design features under Essential Graphics, but how can I incorporate those features for the mask too?   I've tried looking it up everywhere on the internet, but there doens't seem to be a comprehensive tutorial anywhere about editing video mockups like this. Any tips/advice/instructions/suggestions will be very much appreciated.   Thank you!

I’m a video editor working on a PC with the latest version of Premiere Pro, collaborating with a client who uses a Mac. I handle the editing and send over the project files for reviewing, while the client handles the final export.Previously, my workflow involved interpreting iPhone footage (Rec. 2100 HLG) to Rec. 709, placing it on a Rec. 709 timeline, and editing in 2.4 Broadcast Viewer Gamma. However, my client has raised concerns that the colors aren’t appearing as expected and has asked me to revise our workflow.The client’s suggested workflow involves interpreting the footage from Rec. 2100 HLG to Rec. 2020, adding it to a Rec. 709 timeline, and editing in 1.96 QuickTime Viewer Gamma.The final video is uploaded to Vimeo. I edited a video with PP25 and saved it on my iMac. I can't view it on my smart tv via air play. Any other video created previously with other softwares works, I can share youtube videos, everything works (so it's not a wifi problem or anything else), however I can't broadcast videos created with Premiere Pro 25.Any solutions?

Hi,everytime I open a new project in premiere pro, it uses previous one's file location even if I select the correct one while creating the new project. I have to go to the scratch disk and change locations everytime. Is anyone having this trouble? I added the screenshot sho you can understand the problem. Project and it's location is different.

When I drop video into a new project, any video, I get black screen in both my souce and sequence video.   I have updated to the latest version and I have tried different videos   I can hear the audio, but not see the video ro the video is block glitched.   Any ideas of what I need to do?   Thanks   Seth 

I like the new feature that allows you to pan and zoom with your mouse on the program monitor.  Can I translate the new size and position to keyframe values?

In versions of Adobe Premiere Pro prior to 2023, using the touchpad to swipe across the timeline or media would trigger a scrubbing function, allowing for quick playback of video. However, in the 2023 version and later, this functionality seems to have been replaced, with swiping now zooming in and out of the timeline instead of scrubbing. Is there any way to restore the previous behavior?

Im beyond frustrated.  I have tried everthing to get my waveforms back in multicam across multiple projects.  Today I was working on the audio for a long multicam and then  finished my keyframing in the timeline and then decided to add some audio adjustments in the Nested multicam timeline so that I did not have to apply FX multiple times to the the cut points of the Multicam.  It is a podcast and there were some large chunks we removed from the multicam.  In the nested sequence I selected one of the audio files and then started playing around with essential sound edits and then went back to my main sequence only to find my wavforms are gone.  I then opened another podcast project and now they are gone to and no edits happened there.  I have tried the below things to no avail. For clarity the audio in the multicam is from a sound devices MixPre II and it CH1 and CH2 are a stereo mix of both lav mics and CH3 and CH4 are the respective podcasters lav mi

Premiere Pro  conform xml issues.So I just locked picture on a feature and  back when we started building the project to sync up the separate audio clips with video I merged them. now the colorist is not able to link the files from the xml  because all the clips have the word “merged added to the name. ( using  Resolve for grading)Hard lesson learned.Is there any way these can be re-linked? Or am I stuck renaming all the clips in a 2 hour long edit?

Creative Cloud Version 6.4.0.361Mac, Sonoma 14.1.1 Apparently, my previous Premiere Pro versions aren't available. They got randomly deleted from my Creative Cloud menu despite the previous versions still being in my application folders. I need to use the Intel version because my plug-ins won't work for some reason, so I needed it.

When I press the keyboard Spacebar, the audio track is deleted.  How is this anyway?) The mouse cursor can be anywhere, but the track itself is not highlighted. What do you do with the program? I didn’t touch the settings, everything is fine with the keyboard! Adobe Premiere 25.1.0, Windows 11 Pro 23H2, Nvidia Studio 566.14, Razer Synapse 20241205.    

Manually adding subtitles seems like a lot of work. Especially getting the timing correct and everything in the proper place. Is there any part of PP that will do some of the work for me?   For example, can I simply type out all the dialogue in a .txt file or some other external word processing program, and then import the file and have PP try to match it up with the audio by detecting the words being spoken? Basically have PP put the text in the correct places in the video based on detecting the audio?   I'm not sure if that makes sense.

Yesterday i could work on my project and put a FX video GRID on my video . Today the option GRID is gone off the Video FX list to chose from . Where is it gone and how can i get it back ?

Hallo in die Runde,Wenn ich von meinem Iphone 16 pro Videos in Premiere Pro importiere, sehen diese Videos im Schnittfenster ganz flau, kontrastarm und ohne Sättigung aus. Nehme ich Farbkorrekturen vor, intensiere Sättigung und Gammawert, werden die Video völlig vermatscht exportiert. Wenn ich die Videos ohne Filter exportiere, stimmt plötzlich die Farbintensität wieder. Bin ratlos - was kann ich tun, um im Schnittfenster eine korrekte Farbwiedergabe zu erhalten?Videos werden in H.265 (HEVC) und HDR Video 10 Bit aufgenommen.Bin für jeden Tipp dankbar.Viele Grüße Michael

I'm creating an animation of a letter bouncing up and down on an image of a bed. If I decide to change the image of the bed to a different one, I will need to edit the bottom and top positions of all the "bouncing" keyframes so that the letter starts and ends in the right place on the new bed image.In the Effects Control keyframe editor is there a way to mass edit the down & up position of the Y axis for all keyframes? I would have thought I just highlight all the down position keyframes and then enter a new y axis value (then repeat for the up position keyframes) but this doesn't seem to work.Also, why when I select a keyframe in the Effects Control does the playhead not move to that position so I can see what is going on in the monitor?

Hallo Zusammen, nach längeren suchen, habe ich leider zu meinen Problem keine Lösung gefunde, ich hoffe auf eure Hilfe.Ich habe zwei Ebenen und möchte nur auf die obere Ebene einen Übergang Effekt anwenden. In diesem Fall umblättern. Aber es blättert immer die ganze Seite um. Ich war der Meinung wenn ich die Ebene zuschneide und dann auf diese zugeschnitte Ebene dann den Übergang anwende, das der Übergang nur auf die Zugeschnittene Ebene angewand wird. Wie kann ich dieses Problem lösen, dass die Hintergrund, also die untere Ebene in diesem Fall unberührt bleibt vom Übergang und nur die obere zugeschnittene Ebene "umgeblättert" wird? Anbei ein Video noch dazu. Vielen Dank für eure Hilfe im Voraus! 

 I accidently pressed the record button on my gopro with it sideways, when I import my video to Premier pro its vertical and if I try to rotate it the aspect is still vertical and you can't see the whole thing, I can rotate it in my player and it's full screen and looks and plays like a normal horizontal gopro video, how do I fix thisJeff

Today (March 3, 2024) I downloaded some Premiere extensions (trials) from Adobe Exchange for testing.Like with earlier downloaded extensions as zxp files I tried to unzip them with 7zip and ran into the error "it is not an archive", WinRAR says "the archive is an unknown format or is damaged", ARK under Linux and several online-unpackers are giving similar messages. Even Universal Extractor says "looks like a zip archive but cannot be extracted" (see enclosed error message).Did Adobe change their ZXP-files or the ZXP-format???Also I cannot use any ZXP-Installer cause all ones I tried are not working on my PC, for what reason ever...Therefore I want to unzip the ZXP-files and then copy the extensions manually to the corresponding extensions-folder which up to now worked fine for me.Can anyone help me, please ????If someone will test it, these are the extensions I downloaded:Horizon Fixer, AI Background remover, and Mirror+Rotate. 

Hey.I have had a problem for a month.I record videos in 50 frames in FullHD quality.I'm rendering a project in 25 format.So far there have been no problems. After rendering at 25 frames on the computer it is OK, but on the TV gray artifacts appear from time to time in some places.I have been making films for several years, but this is only happening now.50 frames on TV is fine.Am I making some mistake while rendering?

About Logicool MXERGO and option scrolling When using Adobe Premiere Pro, you could use the option key + scroll key to zoom in and out of the timeline, but this is no longer possible. For details, when you zoom, it zooms instantly and you cannot zoom out from there.

Is there a way for the Source Monitor's slider to automatically display the full duration of a source clip every time you open it from a timeline (with in and out points already selected), without manually resetting or extending it every time?
