I am currently working on a Doc Feature in Premiere. I have mostly 8K footage from RED V-Raptor and some SONY Burano Footage. The RED Raw footage works fine as usual with hardware acceleration, the SONY X-OCN LT codec doesnt get Hardware acceleration at all. Processor is at 100% when playing these clips. GPU basically not used.I thought Premiere supports these new SONY codecs? My computer is more than capable (i can play both files/codecs without problems in native 8K in Resolve):i9-14900K, 4090, 64GB RAM, Nvme RAID thunderbolt RAID system.Any ideas what i could do to get the hardware acceleration going?

Hello,there is a way that I can select an entire group of takes from my needle position forward? I have a very long sequence in which I have to make adjusts. When I try to zoom out to make it, it is so long that I can't do with accuracy. So, the best way to work would be select anything forward my cursor, so I can drag it back. Is it possible?Thank you very much.

I have been zooming while dragging a clip forever using the plus and minus keys. Now all of a sudden it stopped working, I am on premiere 24.0.3 but in this same session it was still working. I also reset my preferences, didn't work. So I can still drag clips, I can also still zoom in/out using those keys but I would like to do it simultaneously. I already found a topic about this exact problem from 2019 but the only solution that was offered said that zooming and dragging just shouldn't be done at the same time. I've been doing so for at least 10 years so it seems like it should work! Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to fix!!

I'm currently working on a project and am encountering an issue I've never had before. When I open the project file everything is fine. It will render, it will playback, but after several minutes the program monitor will freeze on a single frame. The play button stays at the pause button as if it's currently playing. I can scrub through the timeline - although this doen't affect what's on the monitor. The program itself is not frozen, and I can access the top toolbar and I can click around in the timeline. I'm currently using Version 24.6.1 (Build 2)

Estaba trabajando con Premiere Pro Beta, y cambie el idioma del programa de Es a En, reinicie el programa, y ahora no abre, empieza a cargar, llega hasta donde dice insta360importer.prm , se frena, carga el siguiente insta360reframe.aex y de ahí se cierra automaticamente. ¿Alguien sabe que podrá ser?Estoy trabajando en laptop Win.Asus TUF Dash F15Intel Core i7 12th Gen32 ram64 bits  

I have wasted hours, trying, resizing, watching youtube, and nothing seems to help. I'm on a Mac 15.2, running the latest Pr version 25.00  Build 61.    No matter what I do, once I start playback, I can no longer see the mask outlines. I only see them when stopped. I even tried a different project, a new project, renaming old directory and starting a new 25.0 folder... HELP!!!!  

I am on premiere pro version 25.0.0 and while editing a 8 camera multicam sequence, I noticed my undo (command + Z) wasn't working all of a sudden. Eventually I figured that by pressing command + Z multiple times I was undoing some steps I did like 20 steps back, so I redid those steps and then manually had to undo the step I tried to undo in the first place. Then this kept happening for like 4 times so then I looked at my history window and noticed it was stuck on those last 32 steps I did minutes ago, so that's why I kept on undoing those steps.  Is this a bug? A feature?  Easy fix or another one of those things adobe will not fix for the next 10 years?

Hey everyone, I've been working with some CDL-based workflows recently, and while the initial import works perfectly (ALE with CDL imported from Davinici Resolve) and the CDL values apply correctly via the ASC effect, I've run into an issue when trying to update those values. If I go to Clip > Update Metadata, the CDL values don’t seem to update along with the rest of the metadata. Is this expected behavior? Or am I missing something?   Would be great to know if updating CDL is possible as it would make colour workflow much easier.   Thanks!

I am working in Adobe Productions on a long form documentary. The editors move sequences across projects within the production. We have found that copy and pasting sequences from one timeline to another whether it is in the same project or another causes infiinite beach balling/hanging and crashes. This happens with copy and pasting, but also with bringing in media through the source monitor or media browser, or importing sequences. We recently have been able to narrow it down and realized that this issue is specifically prevalent when copy and pasting clips that were digitized from super 8 film. I tried re-encoding the clips to a slightly different custom Prores codec but it did not help the issue.  Here is the information on the clips: 720x486Codecs: Timecode, Linear PCM, Apple ProRes 422 Proxy Color profile: SD (6-1-6) If anyone has been able to sucessfully solve a similar issue I would appreciate any suggestions.

Premiere Pro 2025 Build 61I am coming to you after a few hours of fighting with this. I'm getting this error with all the files I've attempted to import: MOV, MP4, AVI, mp3. The same file(s) import just fine on other machines.A fresh copy of Premiere Pro 2025 was installed. (uninstall/reinstall)  2nd time with revo to get all extra files and registry entries.  Reboots in between.Moved Files from their original location to a fresh (local desktop) folder. The original location is an internal storage drive.Changed names/formats on copies of the files.Early on I Installed Quicktime for the MOV files. Hoping it was just a codec issueDeleted Media Cache.Ran chkdsk and /scannow (hopes and prayers)Used VLC to convert .mov copy to .mp4Used Handbrake to convert mov/mp4 to mkv and back again.All media imports give the same Unsupported format or damaged file error. Any thoughts on what else I can try? I want automation blocks to bring in an adjustment layer, and apply the mosaic effect with a mask already set.  I can get the adjustment layer to work, is there any way to apply an effect with automation blocks?

I hope there are folks out there that have figured out individual word editing in OPEN Captions.   I am working in the 2021 V15 software.   In V14 and prior I was able to go in and italicize / bold / change font etc. for individual words in my open captions. I can’t get the Essential Graphics panel to open no matter what I have tried. I have managed to change the font characteristics of the whole “text” subtitles group – but not individual words. I can’t import italic text in with the .srt file – at least not the ways I have been doing that.   Any suggestions?   Basically my failed attempts revolve around changing workspaces. I can’t find any settings and Abode how no new information about this major upgrade.   I really think when the bugs are worked out this will be a very strong upgrade – but in the mean time I still have a project I need to finish…   Thanks, Sarah

I was SHOCKED when I got to this small section in my edit.   I used Enhance Speech on an interview to get rid of some background hum.  It sounds like the AI is adding its own color commentary at the end.  WHAT is going on here??  Not only is it a swear word, but it's completely AI-generated? and it shows in the waveform but not in the transcript at all.  It would be hilarious if I wasn't so freaked out that AI is actually alive... Premiere Pro 25.0.0 (Build 61)Mac Pro 2019 Sonoma 14.5

I have a sound effect that I use quite often inside of a template. Is there a way I can either map it to a keyboard shortcut (so I can easily just push and that would insert it into the timeline) or is there a way I can create a preset that inserts the sound effect to the In point of a video when that video has the preset applied. I'm not sure if what I'm asking is possible or if there is a plugin for this but it would make life a whole lot easier. 

adobe premiere pro 2025 timeline disappearing video is not visible problem

I am cutting a 60min documentary in Premiere Pro 13.1.4 (Build 2). All of the interviews were first nested into multicam sequneces and then those nested multicam sequences were brought into the main sequences to be cut together into the story. Previously I have always cut these films together with the raw interview clips on the timeline, rather than nested multicam sequences.   The problem I'm having is that the clips I cut from the nested multicam sequences don't show duplicate frame markers. The check marker for Show Duplicate Frame Markers is checked. Attached screenshot shows the problem in action.   As you can see, the duplicate frame marker is present on the raw clips, but not on the nested multi-cam clips.   This is a serious issues as knowing which quotes are used in different parts of the film is something that is constantly being reevaluated and seeing where a quote has already been used elsewhere (by the presence of dupilcate frame markers) saves a tremendous

Al intentar transcribir el audio de un vídeo en formato mp4, como muchos otros, hace el intento de transcribir pero luego me da el error de "No se ha encontrado ningún diálogo", algo que no entiendo porque el vídeo sí tiene audio ya que cuando lo reproduzco lo oigo. ¿Podrían echarme una mano? Esto mismo me ha pasado con más vídeos de un mismo cliente, por lo que me da la sensación de que está relacionado con el formato del vídeo ¿es posible? ¿cómo puedo solucionarlo? Premiere 2023 y 2024, en ambas versiones me sucede lo mismo. Gracias

Hi, I am trying to use exiftool-vendored to read some EXIF metadata of media, I have node js script file that works perfectly, but as soon as I import it into the CEP panel context via 'require' it gives me 'Uncaught Error: Cannot find module 'node:events''. Events is native node module and it seems it is not available in cep context.So I was trying to setup a simple server adding the tag to index.html:<script>var localServer = cep_node.require(__dirname + "/server/main.js")();</script>the server works perfectly and I am able to recieve callbacks, however as soon as I use require to get exiftool-vendored module into the server script file it breaks againis there a way to run standalone server file, simillar to 'node server.js' that will be laucnhed from cep panel, but will have node js context?

Hi everyone, I'm getting moiré and weird banding and other artifacts showing up on my footage during playback and when I make any adjustments in Lumetri. However, the footage looks fine when it's exported.Apart from being annoying to not get decent quality playback it also makes it difficult to catch any real moire issues before export. So I'm just wondering if anyone have run into something similar and/or know how this can be fixed. The footage in this example is 4K 30fps h265 10bit 4.2.0 shot on a fujifilm XT4 on a 23.976fps time line. But the same or similar issues comes with footage shot on my FX30 and A7IV in 4K 4.2.2 S-I (all frame and data rates)Working on a 13th gen i5 13600K with 64gb RAM and ASUS 8GB 3050 RTX card.* Windows 11* Premiere Pro 25.0.0 (Build 61)* Nvidia Studio Drivers 566.14Using Phantom and OG Fujifilm conversion LUTs Top image during pause, bottom during playback

Al importar un Archvo AVC, el propio Premiere solo me deja visualizar el vídeo y no lleva ninguna pista de audio, es más, el propio icono del vídeo ya me sale sin el icono de vídeo y audio. El Clip original si que lo tiene.

I can't select English as the language for spell checking.I have the latest version of premiere pro in Italian.I work with English texts and I would like to activate spell checking, but it doesn't work for english. I am given the option to use only Italian for spell checking. The English package is already installed and works in the "transcription" panel, but I can't select English as the language for spell checking.
