I replaced my old editing system, and with a few exceptions, most of my customizations made it to the new system. BUT, I can't recall how to make the clip on the active video track selected when the play head stops. Does this make sense? HELP experts

I am canceling my subscription. The play button does not work, the Export window freezes or displays incorrectly, and working with keyframes is inconvenient. The video keeps jumping. Sometimes program windows switch on their own. Sometimes artifacts appear in the video!  I'll be back when these errors are corrected and it will be possible to work!

Hi. When I play a clip in the timeline, the sound dissappear in short periods of time... The sound is fine, if I export the clip and play it in a mediaplayer... It's only with playback in the timeline - But it also happen, if I "bridge" the sound in audition... I'm using Premiere Pro 2024, Windows 11 - 64bit, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz, 16 gb ram The camera is Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k pro

I've noticed a horrifying (for me) bug: when I drag & drop (or copy & paste) edit sequences into a compile sequence, my multicam shots are being swapped over at random. This compile editing is all being done with the "insert and overwrite sequences as nests or individual clips" switch on my edit timeline set to bringing in sequences as individual clips. When I edit in each of these stories as a nested sequence, the multicamera shots don't change (and there are only two camera angles on the multicamera shots) The solution is to edit these source sequences from my source monitor into my program monitor (and the multicams are staying selected as they should be); but I don 't understand why drag & drop from my project window, or copy & paste from other timelines is causing my multicams to randomly swap multicam sources, but fortunately I can edit from a sequence in my source monitor into another sequence in my program monitor, and the multicam clips aren't swappin

When transcribing, then after a long waiting to load, nothing happens and transcription does not pursue. This has been our problem for like a year now. Sometimes it works, a lot of times it doesn't. We tried re-installing, updating and still have the same problem over and over again. If this can't be resolved, we will have to switch to a new and better editing softwares out there. 

After several months of issues with any version of PP above 14.5, the latest one is finally working on my PC. Working as in not crashing immediately at start-up. But now I can't drag and drop anything into it: not a video, audio or image, not into the timeline, bin, or anywhere. I just get the crossed circle every time and everywhere. Tried resetting (holding ALT when launching PP) - didn't help. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Importing every file the long way is way too cumbersome.   Mod note: Edited for content. Hello there 🙂 How is it that once a clip is being speedramped, the motion panel is practically out of use? Nesting might work from time to time but it is very unpractical. Any other solutions / a chance of fixing this in the future?

Liebe Community,  ich bin verzweifelt und benötige eure Hilfe. Da ich im Internet bis auf 2 Beiträge mit dem selben Problem die jedoch nicht beantwortet wurden, nichts finden kann!  Mein Problem ist dass ich keine Speedramps bzw. Geschwindigkeitseinstellungen über die genaue Eingabe der Prozent im Effekteinstellungs Fenster machen kann. Ich kann nur einstellungen in der Timeline über den weißen Strich oder über den selben weißen Strich im Effekteinstellungsfenster vornehmen jedoch fehlt bei dieser Variante die genauigkeit da man nichts eingeben kann und es über die maus nach unten oder oben ziehen muss. Bis vor ein paar Wochen konnte ich dies jedoch ganz einfach eingeben. Ich habe bereits alles neu installiert und zurückgesetzt.  Ich weiß leider nicht woran es liegt aber mir ist jedoch aufgefallen dass wenn ich egal welche neuen clips importiere und diese dann in die timeline lege (auch bei ganz neuen Projekten) die clips immer eine blaue uhr also quasi sc

I've made an Adobe Premiere project "Transitions" that I intend to use in my other Adobe Premiere projects. After importing the "Transitions" project into other projects I made changes in the "Transitions" project. But these changes are not reflected in other projects where it was imported.  I used re-imported the "Transitions" project but changes did not reflect. How to fix this issue?

Bonjour à vous,  Je travaille sur un projet conséquent depuis janvier, depuis la dernière mise à jour de première pro 2025 que j'ai fait semaine dernière, le logiciel plante. Et je me retrouve sur le bios de mon ordinateur. J'ai réussi à le relancer en contactant le fabricant. Depuis j'ai remis la version 2024 de premiere pro, je travaille dessus disons une heure... et il refait la même, il plante, je tombe sur le bios de l'ordianteur. Le soucis c'est que le problème se répète jusqu'à endomager mon fichier de travail. heuresement j'ai fait plusieurs sauvegardes différentes de mon projet. Mais à ce jour je suis bloqué... Je me dis que ça peut être dû à :- La mise à jour de première qui a mis le basard. C'est ce que le fabricant de mon ordi me dit)- J'ai entendu dire qu'il pouvait y avoir des bug entre les mise à jour et les mise à jour NVIDIA. Hi,I'm on the newest stable release of Premiere 25.0.0 (Bulid 61).Parts of the interface (fx toggles and keyframe stopwatches in effects controls) show up blurry as in the example attached. The bottom parts of overscaled stopwatches are also cut as though they could not fit inside the allocated space. Other elements are also blurry, e.g. new item, new bin, find and trash icons in project window as well as track lock icons in the timeline - everything else looks perfectly sharp as other parts of Windows 11 interface.It's visible both on my laptop's built-in display (2560x1600) as well as external 1080p monitor but it's much more apparent on the lower resolution screen. I use discrete GeForce RTX 4060 graphics with the newest drivers installed. Is it a bug or is there something wrong with my setup? It's hard to imagine that such a graphical glitch could get past the quality checks and into the final version 😉

I would like to apply a keyboard shortcut to a preset (cam placement in a vertical multicam montage) and ensure that when I click on a shortcut, I can change from person 1 to person 2 (the change is made in the position and scale)

In Overlay Settings, is there any way to change the color of the text and the background behind the text for Markers? With Bottom Alignment marker text, I'm getting a dark blue background with black text, which is practically unreadable. It'd be terrific if the background was the color of the marker itself, and the text was a color that was easy to read based on the background color. I see it's slightly more readable at the top or on the right (blue text with a mostly transparent background) but still difficult to read. 

I'm an Assistant Editor. My editor created proxies for our project, which have the same file name as the original footage, except they end with _Proxy. I didn't know about the native proxy workflow until after we made all our proxies. I'm trying to batch connect these proxies to the raw footage. I'm able to connect them individually but not automatically (Premiere connects the rest of the files to the raw footage, not the proxies). Can I maintain the file name suffix _Proxy and still batch connect these proxies? I could remove the suffix and individually replace all the clips my editor has already used, but I'm hoping there's a way to batch connect without removing the suffix?

In Media Encoder, I can see that there's a checkbox that offers the option to "Export using proxies". However, I don't see the option when I set up the export in Premiere. I can "Send to Media Encoder", then click on the link in "Preset" to get to the checkbox. But, a lot of times, I'm exporting a batch of clips (Sending to Media Encoder from Premiere), so it'd be helpful to have an "Export using proxies" checkbox in Premiere.

Summary: a) Creating proxies for the 10 specific files that reside in a disk folder that contains 100 movie files (90 of which are not imported to Premiere) is relatively quick.   b) Creating proxies for the same 10 specific files that reside in a disk folder that contains 2000 files (1990 of which are not imported to Premiere) will cause the proxy creation process to completely hang and fail. It should take the same amount of time to create a proxy job for 10 files, no matter how many other files might reside in the source folder on disk.I'm having this bug on Windows 10, Adobe Premiere 24 and 25.  All my disks have plenty of free space.Setup to ensure expected operation:1. Create a file on disk call "mytest" with 10 movies files in it2. Import these 10 files into Premiere3. Create proxies for these 10 files, Premeire will quickly Export a Proxy job to AME and AME will start running on those 10 files..4. Stop AME, clear out any jobs and clear out any prox

I did something while editing and now my Program feed isn't showing me comparison before/after frames when I'm using the Slip tool and moving frames around, it just displays whatever frame the playhead is on. I can't find anything about this or an option somewhere and whether the "Composite Trim..." option under the wrench is turned on or off doesn't matter. Halp!

As the title says, I cannot open Premiere Pro. It shows the splash screen, but after about six seconds, it disappears and nothing else pops up - not even any crash reports. I have tried practically anything I could think of, and followed steps from the official "How to fix Premiere Pro crash issues". Hi,    I want to report a bug.   Issue: I've updated Premiere Pro 24.6.1 version. I started having problems with the crop effect, it won't apply the zoom option to any video clip or frame, after couple of weeks using it. Premiere started to crash when I wanted to export my videos. It requires that I update my Intel graphics card and reset the preferences and update to the newest version. Anyway, I've tried to update my Intel graphics card without any success, since the driver for my computer model is not available. I'm on Premiere 25.0.0, in Project Manager.  I created a "Same as Source" (frame size, fps, etc.) H.264 encoding preset in Media Encorder, and imported and dialed it in, as such:I hit OK, and I get this warning: The resulting transcode folder includes several of the clips at full length, same resolution etc. (i.e., copied over).  Whereas, this same operation on a recent, older version of Premiere behaved as expected:  it chunked any master clip down to only the bits that I had used in the sequence, and at the same frame size.  This is crucial, as we are only using a small portion of a long, multi-gig 4K clip (talking head greenscreen, therefore many "bad" takes), so we want to... transcode down to only what we used.Has the Project Manager regressed with this newest version of Premiere?  Or am I missing something?      

I feel as though every time I start a new project, premeir pro always comes up with the weirdest bugs and this one is by far the weirdest. Itll let me edit a project for about 3 minutes before it hits me with an error message that says "Saving backup projects to creative cloud requires a creative cloud files directory. Please install the creative cloud desktop application to enable this feature." When I literally opened premeir pro through the desktop app. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop app, but I cant find an uninstall button anywhere. Along with this, google has 0 answers. Some help would be greatly appreciated as this project in particular was for school.

I am reaching out to find a specific tutorial regarding the effects tool. My job requires me to redact (edit) individuals faces that are still but also moving. I have you tubed and tried all the instructions but cannot get the blur to stick with the person throughout the video. There are times when the person moves off screen and then reappears. This is a new program implimented and I am trying to become as effecient as possible. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.   [Title edited by mod]
