Hello,I work as a motion designer as part of a larger media team.We want to move to a more collaborative and fluid way of working and sharing assets. We plan to move to using OneDrive to store and share project assets. We currently use Mogrts deliverables for the majority of our work, due to their sizes and editability. However, if we need to make a fix or edit, the whole team would need to update the mogrts from a folder location.I want to know what the best way to share updates of Mogrts, that uses OneDrive, and doesn't require the user to always reload and replace?Any thoughts on this would be great to hear. Thank you
After updating to Premiere Pro 24.6.1, I encountered a major issue where the program would crash immediately upon launch. I couldn't even get to the home screen. I followed all the recommended steps—restarting my computer, clearing the media cache and preferences, and even deleting and reinstalling Premiere Pro—but nothing worked. Every time I opened the program, it crashed immediately.Eventually, I found a workaround by installing a previous version of Premiere Pro, and then updating it again. This resolved the initial issue, and everything seemed to be running smoothly—until I tried to open my settings. Every time I attempt to go to Premiere Pro - Settings, the program crashes again.I’ve tried everything, including reinstalling different versions of the software, but the issue persists. This is incredibly frustrating because I had to reset my preferences earlier, and now I can’t access the settings I need to adjust for my workflow. At this point, I'm completely stuck, and
I moved from a small production company to my home system. I duplicated the premiere user settings. I copied the folder and put it in the right location and renamed it to match my local username. It has been working fine, no issues except on tiny one that annoys me. I am working on Productions and when I open a project the username shows up in the "project locked" column, as it should. But instead of showing my username it shows the name of the production facility. I believe this is because that was the username of the Mac I was working on at the facility. So my questions is: Is there a way to change the username within the settings folder? (I am working on local attached storage, not in the cloud or off of servers)
Hey community, after importing a .MOV file to my premiere project it gets overexposed right away. When I playback the native file in the finder, everything looks alright. Picture one: File on harddrive. Picture two: File in premiere. No filters are applied on the clip or timeline. I tried importing the footage to a brand new project. Nothing changed. I even get the same results, when rendering the clip to my hardrive. I'm using MacOS 12.0.1 (21A559). Premiere is version 22.0.0 Build 169. Working on a MacBook Pro 16" 2019. No external screens are connected. You can download the sample file here https://we.tl/t-8Zy0IQCRzOI can't edit the video because everything looks burned out.Thank you all for the support.
I am using Multi-cam and i cant seem to change the names from 'camera 1, camera 2' etc. Its not the end of the world if you are visually seeing all the cameras, but because i am using so many shots i cant really play in real time so i am making the cuts on the timeline and selecting the cameras manually. When I right click on a cut section i get a whole list of all the cameras, but they are just 'camera 1' etc. Is there a way to rename these so I can easily pick the right shot?

Hi I have a downloaded project file that I can't seem to get opened. The first message I get when I try to oprn it is that it was created on an older version and would need to be reformated. Select Ok. Then it can't locate the files so I select the folder from my downloads and then it says they are not compbatible. I can usually find a tutorial for issues but nothing for this, anyone?

Why does not the premiere support mkv?
I've been editing videos using a .mkv file format in CC 2019 on windows 10 but i noticed not only does CC 2019 on Mac OS not import .MKV but when i upgraded to CC 2020, my older projects and a new project I created doesn't let me import .mkv. I have no ideo how I got mkv to work on CC 2019 but any suggestions would be helpful!

I'm using Premiere pro 25.0.0, but this happened in the previous version too.My video card is a Quadro P2200, I have 64GB of RAM, my cpu is Intel(R) Xeon(R) E-2246G and I work on Windows, all drivers are updated.Often when I use Lumetri Color on some media (.mxf), the preview turns black, but only with some .mxf files, and then I lose reference to the change I'm making to the color. The video shows better how things happen.Anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have a solution?Thank you very much!
I previously followed this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ2rrRGVP1Y) to create flashing colour effect. However, the updated version of Adobe Premier Pro no longer has the HLS option, so wondering if anyone can share how I can now do the same effect with the current settings available to me. Many thanks
I've been working around certain broken features in the audio mixer for awhile, but it's getting worse. Please spend some time and update... 1. Currently if you add say a reverb to a audio channel, the tails of the reverb get cut off when the clip ends. This is not ideal as you want the tails of the effect to ring out after the clip. 2. The work around was to create a submix and route the chan output there. This would allow you to add effects on the submix and not have them get cut off. This is now broken. It cuts off the same way the individual tracks would. 3. Submix solo buttons don't work. When soloing a submix you should only hear the audio content being routed to that submix. Soloing now doesn't seem to do anything. 4. When using submix sends you have the same issue as routing to a sub submix input. It cuts off. Please let me know this was recieved and being worked on. I'm positive I'm not the only one experiencing these issues, I'm just annoyed eno
Hello Adobe Community,I'm having trouble with maintaining the full dimensions of an image in Premiere Pro when scaling and moving it across a 1080x1920 sequence. Here’s what I’m trying to achieve:I have an image that extends beyond my sequence frame (1080x1920 portrait) horizontally. I want the image to fill the frame top and bottom, so it stretches out of frame on the sides.I’m applying a left-to-right movement effect over a set duration (e.g., 3 seconds). However, when I scale the image up, the movement speed changes, making it inconsistent.I need a way to keep the image’s full dimensions intact, including parts that extend beyond the 1080x1920 frame, and be able to pan left and right without cropping any of it.I want the movement speed to stay consistent even when I adjust the scale, so it doesn’t move faster just because the image is scaled up.I’ve tried nesting and using adjustment layers, but these seem to crop the image to the sequence size, cutting off parts that extend beyond
hellooo I edited a whole 3 hourse of footage into 2 minutes trailer - but i didnt modify the sound channels before hand, so now i have the cuts but bad sound.so i modified the sound for all of the clips but i dont want to have to go through all the 3 hours all over again - is there a way to get the timecodes from the timeline so itll be easier to find? or copy the cuts?when i watch the video in the source window it doesnt show the in and outs 😞 i hope ,y problem is clear and hopefully someone has a solution for it thank you for your time ♥
I often shoot real estate videos and struggle with blown-out highlights from windows during editing. I recently saw a video with perfectly exposed interiors and windows—here's the link, check out 0:33: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRaVZ0LUKLw I’d love to replicate that effect. I suspect they used a slider and shot two takes: one for the interior and one for the windows. My challenge is how to blend those clips together. In PS I would use a luminosty mask, or mask in the expsoure entirely. How would one blend the different exposers like in the video? Any suggestions?
Hello, great and powerful Adobe User Community. I've been spending some time trying to understand the purpose of drop frame timecode. From what I'm reading, I understand that DF is for broadcast television because for some reason the video plays back slightly slower when broadcast. So far, I haven't found an explanation for why that happens, but what I came here to ask is: does this hold true for digital broadcast as well? Or is this a holdover from analog television? I produce for online platforms, so I'm really asking out of curiosity (don't like gaps in my knowledge). If anyone can explain this to me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
When a project is sent to media encoder, it renders with the blue "analyze" bar. Rendering from premiere directly does not show the bar.Premiere Pro BETA 25.2.0 build 9
Hi, I'm currently editing a video where my MPG and MOV files cannot be conformed. I don't know if this has a connection, but all my clips change start an end point, so that stuff that shouldn't be in the video suddenly appears. Super annoying to have to edit it all over again. I am not using any audio from the clips, and it works fine to export it - but whenever I open the project again to keep editing it, everything is changed. Any of you know a solution to this? I have the 13.0.2 versionSequence settings; Editing mode: CustomTimebase: 25,00 frames/second--- Pixel Aspect ratio: Square pixels (1.0)Fields: No fields (progressive scan)-- Preview file format: I-Frame only MPEGI've deleted all unused media caches, moved the cach folder to the same as my clips, uninstalled Premiere and installed it again - nothing changed...
After updating to Premiere Pro 2020 I can not install any extensions anymore. The Windows>Extensions is greyed out. I have tried uninstall, reboot, reinstalling with no luck. Any clues? I am running PC, Windows 10 - everything (Windows, Adobe CC, Nvidia drivers etc. is updated to latest versions).
I used to use gradient wipe, cube spin, and flip over pretty consistently in videos. I just upgraded to Premiere 2025 and it looks like all of them are missing? Is there something I need to do on my end?
I used Adobe Premiere Pro at the beginning of this year and have just reinstalled it and all the tools Im used to using are gone. Searched already in this forum and only have advice from 2017. I cant find the splice tool, stretch tool, absolutely nothing. There isnt even an arrow. Help!
