  The video list in the timeline keeps disappearing and reappearing and this is annoying me 

I have recently updated from 2024 version to 2025 version, both after effects and premier pro. But im unable to imprt after effects files to premier pro what might be the issue. Can anyone please help me out

Hi,I can't get rid of the markers on the preview monitor. When I'm editing a video, I can see all the tracks.On the first frame of the clip, a bar with a yellow corner appears on the left side.On the last frame, a purple bar appears on the right side. I'd like to know how to get rid of them. I've attached screenshots. Thank you in advance for your help.Best regards,Krystian

I'm having an issue where when i use the eyedropper tool to isolate a colour in HSL the selection is way off (if i turn the mask on the whole monitor just turns black as if there is no selection). this only happens if a basic correction has been applied. if i turn the basic correction off the eye dropper selection works as expected. 

I am having problems exporting videos as MP4s using the H.264 format. Everything looks normal on my timeline and even in the pre-export preview, but when I view the exported MP4, I get a crazy assortment of vertical lines instead of any video. It looks like this: I just tried to open the MP4 in Photoshop to grab a frame and got this instead: I've tried exporting to .mov instead and that seems to work fine for some reason.   I have tried deleting the media cache, restarting the machine, uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere Pro, reverting to an earlier version of Premiere Pro. My company's technical supervisor has made sure my graphics drivers are up-to-date and not reporting any errors. I have changed the renderer to Mercury Playback Engine. Software Only. PC Specifications:RAM: 32GB, Graphic: RTX3060, CPU: AMD - 5800H Bug: Only in Premier Pro 2025 version, when video or sound source is placed in the timeline, the sound is only heard on the left, and it is not solved by touching options on the audio channel. If the operations team or development team sees this, please give me a quick bug fix!

I have a large number of .WAV audio files with XML metadata written into them by my Zoom F4 Audio recorder. One of which is the "Track Name". When I open the metadata panel for a clip, I see the entry, in this case "Boom" or "Lav 1" listed in the iXML Panel:I cannot find a way to include this field in the display of metadata in the Project Panel of Premiere. Just about every other conceivable field can be inserted into that display. Is there a way to create a custom field and link this entry to it?

When exporting to TikTok, there's a box where you enter the CAPTION. Let's say I entered a long CAPTION; that's not a problem. However, if I later return to the EXPORT box, the CAPTION will be truncated, and I will need to complete it again.This is a bug because I want to save the full description in case I want to export again to TikTok, or if the first export fails.It needs to be fixed so that the full description is preserved. I'm using the latest version of Premire on MacOS.

Boujour à tous, Je vous mets la composition de mon pc juste en-dessous : 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700 2.10 GHz16,0 Go (13,7 Go utilisable)RTX 3060 TI  Malgré ces composants, monter une vidéo est très compliqué. Dès que je bouge le curseur pour avoir le rendu en direct de la video, je suis obligé d'attendre 1 à 2 min.  Alors que sur mon pc portable avec un Ryzen 5 et une RTX 2060, je n'ai pas ce genre de soucis.Pouvez-vous m'éclairer ? Peut-etre des paramètres à changer ? Je vous remercie. 

I'm experiencing significant delays in ProRes rendering on my MacStudio M1 Max. Despite the powerful hardware, my system isn't utilizing the Performance Cores or GPU during rendering, causing extremely slow speeds. Rendering a two-hour ProRes 422 HQ footage takes over 40 hours, whereas H.264 rendering is comparatively faster. System Specifications:•⁠ ⁠Device: MacStudio M1 Max•⁠ ⁠RAM: 64GB•⁠ ⁠macOS Version: 15.0.1 (24A348)•⁠ ⁠Software: Adobe Media Encoder 25.0 (build 54) Issue Details:•⁠ ⁠Only CPU Efficiency Cores 1 and 2 are active during rendering; the 8 Performance Cores and 4 GPU cores remain idle.•⁠ ⁠The timeline is very simple, with only trimming at the beginning and end.•⁠ ⁠The issue only occurs with ProRes rendering; H.264 rendering is significantly faster. Steps I have taken:1.⁠ ⁠Ensured both macOS and Adobe Media Encoder are up-to-date.2.⁠ ⁠Checked Activity Monitor to ensure no other applications are consuming excessive resources. I'd appreciate any advice

Hi everyone,   firstly, I'm on a decent pc, RTX3060, i5-12400K, 16GB RAM and have had no issues previously with exporting with prem pro.   i had a forced app update a couple of days ago via creative cloud and a nvidia studio driver update last month (oct) too.   i have a preset saved for all my exports at H265 (HEVC) 4k (2160x3840 (UHD)), these usually go to tiktok, youtube shorts and other portrait based platforms.   I attempted to use it today and for some reason, I cannot use my Hardware Encoding. It is locked to Software only - it WAS on Hardware. It's set to VBR 1-Pass at 40mbps and I have never had an issue.   I used to crunch 8minute 4k videos in 5ish minutes and a 4minute video took almost 4 hours today.   i can't keep working like this. Any suggestions?   [title edited by mod]

I'm fairly new to Premiere Pro, and I'm hoping the developers are not so bad that I have to choose either the Home screen or opening the Most Recent project every day when I open Premiere Pro?!? Please tell me this isn't true - I though we left horrible designs like this back in the 80's? Really, why would they not include the option, "just open the dang software so I choose what I want to work on and get some work done" which is the default mode for EVERY other software package I use?!? 😞   

I can't open my old and new projects on Premiere PRO 2025, just crashes instantly

After upgrading to Premiere Pro 2025 and started using the new Properties panel I am a bit confused over how to align something in the middle of the frame both horisontally and vertically. It used to be a setting for that in the Essential Graphics panel, but now it´s gone. Am I suppose to use the Fit and Fill buttons at the top of the properties panel. They seem to place objects in the middle. But they also increases the size of objects which is not ideal.

Hey everyone, I’ve been having a frustrating issue with Premiere Pro lately. Every time I open the Essential Graphics panel, the tab turns into a white screen and freezes the entire program for about 2-3 minutes before I can use anything again. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Reset all settings Deleted all media cache and plugins Reinstalled Premiere Pro Reinstalled all my GPU drivers Finally reinstalled the entire operating system Despite all of this, the issue is still there on the recent versions of Premiere Pro. I’ve noticed Essential Graphics works fine on version 24.0, but anything newer causes the same freezing. My system specs are: CPU: 7900X3D RAM: 32GB DDR5 GPU: 4060Ti 8GB OS: Windows 11 Has anyone experienced this or know what could be causing it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Premiere crashed google chrome occasionally. It is hard to reproduce but it happens at the start of our extension. What could be the reason? There are no errors in the extension itself. Also, it is unclear how to debug it or how it is related.

Hi all, i set the lengh to 15sec for this Mogrt file, but when i drag the file to premiere pro, it doents show the white triangle/corners, (i don't want people to strench the lengh of the clip any longer, that's why i set the time limits, also i checked all all sub compositions are all 15sec... ). do you know why that corners doen't show?please help. thank you. 

Hello everyone,I wanted to save a project, but while I was doing the shortcut CTRL+S, I misclicked on another letter, which had sort of erased the content of my project.I still saved after this event, but right now, when I open my project, the latter is empty.Is there a way to recover an older version of my project?

I cannot move anything I left in the timeline forward, backward, up, down, etc. with the mouse, I cannot intervene. Please help urgently   Note: subject edited by moderator.

Hi, been using Premier Pro for a long time, but just encountered a new problem, first time I've tried importing large file sizes, over 1GB, and it seems my Premier won't allow it! This is a bit of a disaster, is there any way to import files over 1GB into my library in Premier Pro? Or do they need splitting up first somehow?? Thanks

Hello everyone, I'm not sure if this question has ever been answered. I am also not sure if it is a bug either or I'm just saving it wrong, just let me know. Everytime I start a new project, when I select a folder for the project to be saved in, the project then saves in the folder just outside the folder I've selected. So for example, let's say the pathway I wanted to save the project file in is: SOCIAL > 03/24 > Due - 03/12/24 > PROJECT.  The project file then saves in: SOCIAL > 03/24 > Due - 03/12/24. I have noticed that this only happens when I'm saving on my SSD and it doesn't happen when I'm saving on the actual computer. (I've also attached a video for visual proof). This doesn't effect the project's performance in anyway. I just have to close the project, move the location to the proper folder and reopen it. It's just annoying to have to do this everytime I start a new project. I'm currently running on the most recent version on Adob

I am using premiere pro 25.0 on a mac studio running Sonoma 14.6.1. I upgraded to 25 from 22 to take advantage of the new features. Did not change any of the settings or preferences, but I am working on a project and needed to get a good view of what I am doing. I have 3 monitors hooked up to the studio and use the larger one (hooked up via hdmi) to get a good look at minute things but when in preferences the 'OK' button does not work. I can only click cancel which just exits out without any changes.This is a system I've been using well over a year with no issues prior to this update. I may have to go backwards just to get it to do what I need it to do.Frustration does not equate what I am feeling right now.  Is there a solution or fix out there?

For those of us on Pr CC 18 that has no "Essential" audio ducking, I'd like to be able to use a third party audio compressor/limiter with side-chain input to accomplish the same task, if it's possible.I can't find anything in the third party or Pr documentation how to do this.Any ideas?  Possible in Premiere?
