Hey there, I am coming to this forum because I have problems with the text tool since the latest update of premiere pro.Everytime I want to type some text on the textlayer, it does not let me type anything at all!If I type "h" for example the hand tool is triggered, but it does not show the "h" in the textbox. I need help quickly please, because I am working daily with this feature and can't work like this.... 😞

hy am facing this issue from last week since i built my first pc with ryzen 5 3600 and rx580.Why using premier pro am not able to change my renderer setting to gpu acceleration,its greyed  and the mercury cpu acceleration is too laggy and slow .Am out of budget and cant afford new gpu please help me if i can solve this issue or any possibility of using other version of premiere pro please help me out i had pending projects am so depressed right now please help me with this . 

Alt tab / Switch Windows Freezing Premiere Pro.There is a problem if we switch or press alt tab or minimize the window several times, it will cause program and windows stop working.This issue occurs from adobe premiere 15.0 up through 15.4.1.Then when I downgrade to version 14.4, this problem disappeared. But I still want to use the new function of the latest version anyway.(This problem is only Premiere Pro) What I have done :1. Re-install Premiere Pro2. Update Nvidia Studio Driver lastest version3. Remove Plug-in and Mogrt4. Clear Media Cache & Windows Cache5. Reset plugin caches and preferencesMy Spec :AMD 5950xNvidia RTX 3080Ram 64 GB BUS 3600Windows 10 64 bit P.S. Sorry for my bad grammar.

I purchased this .mov vid from Adobe Stock.  There are no layers of course. Just wondering if there is a way within Premiere Pro to make the background transparent and keep the elephant white?   

When I select more than one geometric shape from different parts of the sequence, the graphic control options do not appear. I would like to be able to change the color of several geometric shapes at the same time, even if they are in different positions in the sequence.

I haven't gone back to this project in a while and it didn't find certain files -- and when I went to locate them -- one of the files linked to a file that is incorrect -- how do "unlink" that file and get the correct file? It won't let me locate the file since it's already  been found.  Thanks!

I download Bundle vol.1 Transitions Plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro and it does not work on the current version of Adobe Premier. I spoke with Adobe Technical support and they claim it's a third party software and it's up to the originating company to trouble shoot further and check version compatibility.  I find that ironic since it's available to buy on Adobe's website and download directly through the Creative Cloud suite.  Has anyone come accross this issue and found a solution? I'm on a 2023 Macbook Pro w M2 Max processor and on the current OS. The installation goes well then I open the software and it's not there. Any help would be appreciated.  I've reached out to the company that made it and requested support or a refund. Will see what happens. 

Hey,    did anyone check the Markers feature or are you using markers @adobe to mark things?  I don´t know how you use it.  It´s unuseble really no joke.  If you apply a marke to a clip in the timeline. the software applies one marker to the video  but more is yet to come: It also applies to every audio layer one marker? Why?  Can someone explain this feature?  I would expect that when I select video, I get video marker . With audio selected I would expect audio markers.  What sens does it make that every layer of video and Audio gets a marker.  This seems to happen because audio and video is linked.  If I add material on V2 or V3 the markers are applied only to the videolayer.  Here is a video to illustrate the "feature"  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8YRWLrRag4   kind regards Peter 

Is there a safe tool to use to download or copy some Youtube video, which I can then edit and incorporate into my own video?   I can't find the answer here in the forums.  Thanks for your help!

I give a key point from the effect control panel, but when I rewind and watch it, it does not apply the position I gave. Is there a reason?

I want to find all the sequnces I have in a project bin and all subbins.  My sequnces all use the default color so, like Markters, they can be filter by color, but where do I go to filter clips by color? 

Hello. This week I decided to try Adobe Premiere Pro 2024, the trial version was installed normally. The problem is that I couldn't open the capture window and I need to digitize some VHS video tapes. I looked for something in the menus and program settings and found nothing. Does the 2024 version of Premiere Pro no longer capture video?

I'm always reluctant due to the high number of bugs with the constant updating. I loaded a couple old projects and edited a couple new ones and everything seemed to go well until I loaded a very large project with hours of 16 fps MS Teams recordings. All the Teams videos have lost audio sync--both the projects and the loaded raw files. I'm wondering if it's because they are 16 fps and the rest of my projects are/were 29.97? Is 2024 incompatible with my old project? Expected result was that my project would load as it did in 2023. Actual result was that the audio was out of sync by many minutes.

I'm having trouble loading Premiere Pro. It will load but sections will be mixed together or it will be greyed out. I have the latest version of my laptop update, gpu update, and app update. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. I've tried restarting my laptop multiple times and creating new projects and it's the same outcome. Is anyone else having this issue or know what else I can do to fix this?Thank you

Title says it all,and yes everyting is up to date, EVERYTHING This is maddening, PC almost flew out the window after the 18th crash.

Gente tengo un problema con el renderizado de un video en 4k tengo imagenes de drone, al editar todo se mira bien pero el momento de exportar ya finalizado el video solo la parte de videos del drone salen con relentizacion, esto ya en el video final. Alguien podria ayudarme con este problema porfavor.

I was curious if there's any way to include the names of tracks in my timeline in an EDL or ALE. I have each track named but once exported, the track names are back to being called V1, V2, etc. In the ALE, under tracks it says VA1 for all of the clips. In a similar vein, I have an adjustment layer in my timeline with the metadata and timecode burn-in effect on it. I have the burn-in directed to different tracks in the "source track" option which shows all of the track names, but when I select the Source track label box it uses V1, V2, etc again. It would be great to have the Source track label say the name of the track I've chosen in the same way the source track dropdown does. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! 

When trying to trim clips I keep getting the the notice that "trim blocked on video 1" I get I must have enabled some kind of feature, but no search shows me what, or how to disable it. Help?? This is premiere pro CC.

Hello!I'm working on a project that I need to create a shot list for as well as keep track of the shot names while editing. I know you can add the shot name into the metadata under dynamic media, but is there any way to include this info in the edl/any other format out of premiere? I've been converting the edl into a csv in order to bring it into a spreadsheet, but I need to keep track of shot names as well.I unfortunately can't rename the clips to be the shot names as each clip is being used in many places throughout the project. Any advice would be great! Thank you!

In the Lumetri Color panel there is the "Color Wheels & Match" window. Usually you can click and drag the crosshairs from the middle of these wheels to anywhere inside the wheel. Usually you can also click and drag the sliders to the left of the wheels. For some reason I can only click inside the wheel to change the paramaters/values and I cannot change the sliders to the left of the wheels at all (can't click and drag the slide and can't click above or below the slider to move it). I'm assuming there's some random setting or check box I've accidently turned on, but can't find anything about this problem anywhere. This was a problem yesterday before I updated to 25, and its still a problem today after updating to 25.  How do I fix this? 

Hey! Hoping someone out there has some help to offer. I am working with Arri Alexa Mini footage in the 2018 Premiere release (happened with the previous version also). When the footage came in it had an auto LUT on it, so to rid myself of that and reduce the project bloat I disabled the master effects. Now we are ready to send footage to color and are having this issue. It is not every clip, just one. The raw footage was not shot inverted. It did this once before and I went back to a project save where the footage still had the master clips enabled and It worked fine. Could it be something in the master effects? Any help is welcome.

Maybe this is by design and someone could explain why.

So, I simply want to import a graph with a white background. But Premiere converts it to grey and I don't know why. I tried just creating a white image with paint and even that one is created grey. What do I do?
