I have a project with over 100 old audio files that were delivered as Unix.exe files with no file extension. The only way I have found to make these workable audio files for Premiere is to add a .wav extention and convert them using VLC. The problem is that VLC's Mac version does not have a batch convert option as the Windows version does.  Is there a tool that will batch convert Unix files to .wav? I've tried Audition and Shutter to no avail.  TIA.

Enhance speech is working in tutorial but when i try to apply it to my own audio it is greyed out and is not an option? It was originally an 4 channel ambisonic file and I have exported it as a stereo & mono file. Still not working and greyed out in menu.

Very new to Premiere Pro and speed mapping but I've managed to make this work on other parts of my video from tutorials; however now when I go to turn on speed remapping and look for the line to adjust speeds on each clip it's just not there even though according to the menu it says it's on.I've tried accessing from right click --> show clip keyframes --> time remapping --> speed and from right clicking on fx --> time remapping --> speed. Obviously in both places it shows that it's on (see attached screenshot); why can't I see a line to drag to adjust the speed??Thanks in advance! 

Hello, I'm trying to set up a process for my audio... my videos are mainly 10 min talking head videos. Should I adjust the gain first for all audio clips,  THEN go to ES and Loudness and AutoMatch, and then once I have done any repairing to check the Volume to make sure it is -6 to -12 dB? I have watched so many tutorials and I am now so confused! Thank you!

Hi all,Been trying to rack my brain for the past four days in how to solve this – Opened Premiere Pro on Friday and none of my video files that was filmed on a Google Pixel Phone 8 is now working? It was working perfectly fine beforehand, but for some reason they now appear offline.Every time I import a video file it just converts it into an audio file. It only seems to have issues with the pixel phone so far. All other videos that is not filmed with a pixel phone works fine. Everything I’ve done so far:Uninstalled and installed Premiere ProUpdated Premiere Pro to v 24.5Cleared my cacheI’ve checked my timeline, and the audio and video track are both onI’ve renamed my folders and moved them to another folderI’ve converted my videos using VLC and it seemed to have worked, but the audio seemed to have disappeared, but the video remains?I’ve tried the ‘replace footage’ tips and when I locate my files a prompt that says "the selected files does not contain video media used by clip refe

It seems as though Premier Pro is one of the apps affected heavily by the curret issues with intel chips. I haven't had any crashes yet, but have experienced horrible sluggishness when scrubbing the timeline, making edits to videos, etc, that i have never experienced before. This issue seems related to thermal performance of the CPU with a project loaded. If i let the project sit and catch up (opening projects takes longer than normal), the temps will sit at normal idle levels. Once i scroll the timeline, select a clip to view effect controls, etc, the system lags for 10-30 seconds while temps rise to the mid 80s, then temps fall to normal again and the system catches up. Rinse, repeat. It's gotten to the point that i do my editing on my macbook, then export on my desktop with media encoder because exports seem okay for now. I am editing 4k30, 10bit s log 3 footage, this is on the heavier side of video workflows, but still should not be such an issue for my desktop. My macbook spec is

Lately I've been noticing a lot of crashes (blue screen) when moving clips/sounds/texts on the timeline. (basically during light activity) No crashes when rendering video, under the load of playing clips. I also have no crashes in games or other applications! is it a fault of intel processor or adobe premiere???latest driver/bios, set on intel save, etc.

No matter what I do the track matte key removes the text I apply the matte to, I've tried this in set video tracks as well as individual tracks for the image and the text. I am using a static image for the source, could this be the problem? I've been ripping my hair out looking at previous threads for solutions and so far nothing has worked, I'm using Windows 10

I'm trying to turn on the color space Metadata in the media project panel (see screen shot).  The media shows me color space when I "interperat" footage it is aware it's a REC709 or HGL2100 file.    Question is, how does one show the color space in the project panel properly?  the only two-color space options "Video color space" and "Color Space" are blank.... Thanks in advance.  

The height of the track is very large, but I despite hovering my mouse, I don't see a way to adjust it.

For example if I just open the web browser and come back, and press play nothing happens for like 8 seconds. Then it is pretty normal until I eventually leave the program.  Another issue is that periodically ill be playing in a timeline and it will only play for 2 seconds and stop. Eventually it stops, but theres no ryhyme or reason why it starts to play without stopping.  I have seen similar threads but nothing really fixed this problem. I feel like it has something to do with the M1 chip in my studio.  Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

I'm attempting to loop through a sequence and apply two frame audio fades at the head and tail of each audio track. Each audio track only has a single item on it. My issue is that the loop stops after only two tracks, despite there being audio on the third track. At times, auto-save happens just a moment after the last autosave, and then there is no autosave for some time. Also, I manually save, and then often auto-save happens after a few seconds. Can't it be programmed to reset the autosave counter after every manual save?  

Hi everybody, I’ve spent hours trying to find the answer to this with searches in Google and Youtube but got absolutely nowhere! I need some help with pasting Urdu text in Adobe Premiere. I can’t get an exclamation mark at the right end of the word! It should be at the end, which is on the left, but when you paste this in (below), the exclamation mark just always goes on the right! Before the word. Like it has here!مفت تجارت حاصل کریں!This should mean “get free merch” or words to that effect but literally it’s “get free trade” which doesn’t make any sense because if it was a trade it wouldn’t be free! Anyway, that’s what it means. Any help would be great!

I have been having an issues where when I click on my motion option in my effects tab, my blue bounding box doest not show up in the program monitor. As soon as i start to work on a project it will work, but a few edits in, it just stops working. I have no idea how to get it back.

So I've seen people attemp to describe similar problems, but it's also a bit difficult to describe, so let me be as clear as I can. I am using Premire Pro 22.1.2 on a Macbook. Using the text tool, I want to writeDECEMBER25, 1971 However, when I go to write the second line, it glitches up like this: To be clear, I typed in "25, 1971" in that exact order, yet it appeared on the screen like you see above.I can write other things with puncutation that doesn't misbehave, for example see:But for some reason anything with numbers appears backwards. For example, here is what happens when I attempt to write 1, 2, 3, 4:Here are my settings. Nothing looks weird to me here. Any ideas?

I am using an image sequence.I can't figure out how to rename a Video track. All I see is V1, V2, V3, V4, etc. etc.But I want to rename each Video Track so I know what content is playing. Thakn you for your help! 

The newest update has completely made Premiere Pro unusable. It's super buggy and I've lost 2 projects already due to this app. This is very frustrating. Ever since I've updated my app, None of my projects show up on the timeline or in my autosave files.   Title edited by mod

Is there a way to export an MP4 video (or any other type) as a looped video without having to just repeat the frames? I am playing this on an older TV that can't set the settings to loop and I need to export it as a loop. Please help! ASAP! Thank you!

Hi this is my first post to the community. I want to know how can create automated images using Adobe.  Like Adobe AI create the image and upload on my instagram account.  I have a lot of work to do and need such thing to make my tasks a little easier. 

Can I change the art on the landing screen of Premiere 24.0? I find the portrait creepy, like a stalker would stare at someone. Not making me feel creative...
