Dear Community - please help! When I use Enhance Audio on my clips it adds audible 'gremlin' artefacts to the clip. They are not always visible on the waveform but here is an example where it is visible. The first clip uses no enhancement, then I set it to 2, 4 and 7.  In this particular case, it would appear to be trying too hard to amplify/improve barely audible background noise or mic rustle as it gets worse the more I 'enhance' the audio. But this is the very opposite of what the effect should be doing, surely it should be squashing wind, rustles, noise? This has also happened over spoken/ambient audio, and not affected the waveform - which is scary, as they are not always picked up in review! This is happening over multiple Macs and always on the latest version of PP. The error is repeatable using completely fresh projects, sequences and clips. I have had to stop using Enhance Audio for fear of missing some of these glitches and them going live.&

I have recently shifted from FCP 7 to Premier Pro 24 and that too from Mac to Windows. Now, I have found a .Kys file to use the fcp7 shortcuts into premier. But perhaps that .kys file was mac only. Not working in my Windows version. Can Somebody provide me with a link to download  a .kys file, so that I can use FCP7 shortcuts in Premier 24 Windows version. 

PowerPoint v16.98Premiere Pro v25.3MacBook Pro M1 Max chipMac Sequoia 15.7.1 I'm using PowerPoint to export slides as a MOV using Apple ProRes 4444 and I have checked the 'Make background transparent' box so that I can have 'floating' animations (made in PPT) next to a webinar speaker. When I go to import that mov into Premiere (either by dragging, File -> Import, or using the Media Browser) it doesn't let me import at all. I get a File Import Failure popup with the error message 'We were unable to open the file on disk'. The Event details tell me 'File contains more than one image descriptor'. There aren't any further settings (as far as I know) that I can change when exporting from PowerPoint - literally choose the file type, codec, and switch on transparency. I can't import the mov into After Effects or Media Encoder, but I can open the mov fine in Quicktime and see the alpha transparency. When I import my footage into premier pro, I have it so it automatically transcribes dialouge for text based editing. When working in the bins, I typically cut up the footage into usable parts and organize it into other bins. Text based editing works flawlessly here everytime.  The issue: when I drag the clips into a timeline, the transcript for text based editing no longer appears in the text panel OR its super wonky, i.e. when I select text to delete it isnt synced up and deletes the wrong section or just deletes then text and doesnt effect the timeline. In my current project, its the first issue were the transcript isnt pulling into the timeline. Re-transcribe is blurred out too which makes me think this could be a settings error? Anybody getting the same issue?

When I used Premiere pro 2024, during editing clips, the pre-rendering time of individual shots took a dozen seconds (qucik process mostly use after slowmo effect). When I rendered the project in its entirety to an HD/4k file - for 8 minutes of material it took 1-2 hours.  After the update, ( I didn't change anything in the computer software), the same operations take several minutes for a simple pre-render and even 13 hours for export to HD/4k movie (8 min movie) It's impossible to work this way. The thin bar on the timeline is still red and somehow forces me to pre-render all the time. What shoul I do?

somethings wrong. I think I accidentially changed the settings of my Adobe Premierebecause I cannot find the motion effects in order to change my scale.The only thing I see in my Effects are the color/light effects but not my motion effects.

I need the ability paste timecodes into a text box such as:00:13 - 00:2300:25 - 00:3300:43 - 00:48and then I need PPro to make a cut at each point of the current timeline, and then to use one colour to label the new cuts in the timeline.Is this possible? Where do I find a tool that can possibly do this already, or where can I find a dev ask what it would cost? I researched the new UXP Dev Tools to try and vibe code it myself but realize that an interface isn't possible with UXP. I'm not sure how extensions work or are coded, perhaps that's what is needed. 

Hello,Recap problems during post production of large tv showLast year the post production process for a serialized tv-show within Premiere Productions turned into living nightmare, because it seemed like it couldn't handle the amount of imported footage, coming from all sorts of different sources: Sony camcorders, such as the PXW-FX9, GoPro's, drones, phones etc, all using their own specific codecs and color spaces. XAVC, Rec. 709, Rec. 2020, Sony S-Log3/S-Gamut3.Cine, D-Log etc.Even though the projects were set up in XDCAM50/1080p, some footage came in at UHD or 4K. Some footage came in, being converted to ProRes.We're talking about 10 episodes, 14 days worth of footage, and all being accessed all day, every day, for about 5 weeks by several editors on multiple 10GbE iMac machines. As for the separate projects within Productions: one containing all the raw footage, one for converted videos, one for music, one for assets, etc, and one for each episode.  As you can see, I am trying to change the media in the properties panel, and it is showing up as blank in the actual video. It is getting super annoying, and nothing is working.

I subscribe to Adobe Premiere Pro, but in my Adobe Premiere Pro the object masking feature doesn't appear. What's the solution?

 I've been rendering with Premiere for a time, like rendering 1080p60 for some time and changed to 1440p60 since I've bought a new hardware device to capture my gameplays. Some render times were around 2 hours, for a 1h30m video using H265 Codec to record and render. Recently (like 1 or 2 month ago), Premiere started to take too much time to render videos with similar length, like 6 hours to render a video with 1h40m, and also a 2 hours video took 8 hours to render it. My setup is: CPU Ryzen 5600X GPU NVIDIA RTX 4070 32GB RAM (Premiere can use up to 26GB)   My export settings is like this:   One thing that keeps me thinking is this option "Render" that keeps to stay grayed out and I can't changed it. I've looked through some topics and videos, and I couldn't turn it on. I've looked that Adobe have disabled it, but I guess during the render it isn't using my GPU/Hardware and is rendering through Software to take so much time.   Edited for content: Content was

Ever since updating to the newest version of Premiere Pro (24.4.1), it continuously crashes. It happens when I try to do pretty much anything on any project. I tried:- deleting media cache folder- deleting and reinstalling entire application- reverting to previous version of Premiere- creating a new project and importing existing project into it Nothing works! After using the eyedropper to select a color area in Hue vs Sat in Lumetri Color, I am not able to adjust the saturation.  Mouse selecting one of the control "dots" does not work.  On rare occasions I can actually get it to work by randomly selecting other controls first.

When exporting a video sequence premiere randomly leaves out part of the audio. Those part were not muted, but in the same channel and of the same kind of other parts exported fine, not even cut: so for instance you have a talker that randomly get the voice silent. This is a big reliability issue, because there is no correspondence of what you have on timeline and what you are going to have on final export. This happens on different machines and happened also with previous versions of Premiere different from this one at moment of writing 15.4.1 (build 4).The only reliably working workaround has been export only the single audio channels in wave files and then import it back into the timeline, that is time consuming and unacceptable for a professional software.

I'm working in a project with sources with mixed frame rates.  The source timecode in my EDL is often off by a few frames, sometimes seconds.  Is there a best practice for exporting mixed frame rate EDLs?  Thanks so much!

Hi everyone,I'm building a premier pro plugin with uxp and stuck with a problem as I'm facing a challenge to mimic the razor tool feature.I'd like to - Programmatically create these cut sections in my original video/sequence - Add markers or tags to indicate which parts came from the original source- Place them in a new sequence one after another- Export srt file programmatically- Extract video metadata programmatically Is there any way to do this using the UXP APIs, or would I need to fall back to CEP (ExtendScript) to achieve it? I've been attempting to record multi-channel audio with PCM through OBS. Here are my settings:I set it to record 2 audio channels  Whenever I import the resulting file, premiere only ever acknowledges the first audio track it finds.Please note, that when I change the audio encoder to FFMPEG AAC, it all works perfectly and both channels are detected. This issue exists inPremiere Pro 24.2.1 (and before)Premiere Pro (Beta)  24.3 (and before) I've tried all other container formats with and without remuxing in OBS, the results are the same. Whenever I use multi-channel audio with PCM, premiere just ignores them. I've attached a sample recording that has 2 audio channels recorded with the settings above. Everything esle (other players) is able to recognize them aside from premiere.

I need to link files from my Dropbox folder, which by default is located inside my C:/Users/Library/~ folder. Premiere's Locate window simply cannot access that folder. I can see it on the Locate window, but can't click it, double clicking it does nothing.I've already tried to change sharing settings, with no success.

After the latest update I now get this message everytime I open the app. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've used the troubleshooting app to reset preferences. I've restarted the Mac several times. Nothing seems to work. When I click the button to move it to the bin as requested it returns an error saying I have to do it manually. When I do it manually nothing changes. I've not seen this error anywhere on the internet, yet, and I'm very concerned.

Hi.My students want to be able to work from a computer at home as well as on the computer at school. Does working against Google Drive desktop work well or is it always better to work against a local hard drive? Is there a risk that editing will be slow when you have to constantly sync against a cloud? From what I understand, it's always best to store the files locally on the computer. So we've never tried anything else. We don't have the option to use Lucidlink, for example. Grateful for your advice!
