It became “Premiere,” but why does it still say “Premiere Pro”?

When i minimize the sound bar so i don’t see doubles (Left and Right) its too small and I can barely see it. When I try making the sound bar bigger, the biggest size is too small and if i make it bigger, it then doubles into left and right sound bars which I don’t want. Please allow us to make the the sound bar bigger without the left and right bars.

Auto Save preferences not working...autosaving every 2 minutes!

I have reverted to Premiere and want to know if I should uninstall Premiere Pro as I cannot get any response and it continues to freeze. I have not been able to playback and the only thing it allowed me today was load a clip into the source monitor but with no preview or image. I have Adobe 26.5.1 (Build 1)

I can't use the button "keyboard shortcuts" in premiere pro 2026 on a Mac.Also the shortcut keys, option command k, didn’t work.  

Has anyone experienced RECENTLY where you make an edit in Premiere, and then it reverts back. You can literally see it revert backwards before it can have a chance to save it. For example, I can revert something up to a larger size, than it reverts it back. Anybody? Bueller? Bueller Bueller?

Steps to Reproduce Bug: 1. Select an audio clip or many audio clips in timeline, right-click, audio gain. 2. Peak amplitude is a non-valid value in random clips (eg. 346dB) 3. Normalize all peaks to any levelResults: Muted clips (clips with extremely low gain, e.g. -346dB)I already reported it. Tried on empty project with all cache manually deleted.Anyone else having this?

Hello,Lately, when I use the synchronization tool on Premiere Pro (right clip on the selected audio lip > synchronize), it's very slow. I mean, it took at least 10 minutes. It used to be just few seconds.Maybe I've changed something in my settings that I'm not aware of... Has anyone rune into the same problem and has the solution please? Thank You

I teach Adobe Photoshop and Premiere in a high school setting. Our students earn their certificates in each program on Mac Desktops. I'm finding more and more students who prefer to edit on their mobile devices, primarily using CapCut because that's what they'reused to. While I want to teach them the more professional workflow with Adobe, sometimes I even find myself using the Adobe mobile apps in a pinch, and could see editing entire projects on an iPad eventually. Does Adobe ever plan to offer certifications in the Mobile versions of their apps? I'm finding that fewer and fewer students are desktop literate, and with the introduction of the Premiere Mobile App on Android now, are there any plans to allow students to earn a certificate on a mobile app?

Hi, a couple of days ago I posted a message about the Write-On effect being insanely slow in Premiere Pro 2023.6. I was told this effect did not support GPU acceleration and was absolete (though this does not explain why it used to work perfectly on a Core-i7 4770 plus 32 gigs of ram and a 6-gig GTX 1060 in Premiere 2019 and cannot work in Premiere 2023 on a 13700-4080-64Gb plus SSD).Ok, right now I'm working on a video comprising 4k training footage plus on-screen explanatory messages. It is literally a 4k footage on one track and from 1 to 7 text layers created via the text tool above. I downloaded a editing pack and it automatically downloaded as an XML file. I tried searching for converters for XML to prfpset but most of them do cost money. With this XML document, I cannot import the editing pack preset that I installed. Is there any way which I can turn my XML file into a prfpset so that I can import it into my premiere pro?

Hello,So, I’m working on my end credits roll and running into a maddening issue where the roll lags Premiere so bad that I can’t edit any of the text, and I eventually have to close the program and restart. Hi there,  I woke up this morning to open Premiere and it said I was logged onto too many devices. For some reason, my desktop was listed as 3 or 4 devices, all with the same name and log in time. After dealing with that issue and changing my password, I went back and opened Premiere (24.1 on a Mac 12.6.6) to find that all my text was missing, and I couldn't create new text with the text tool.  I opened multiple old projects, and found the same thing.  When trying to create new text, there was a red line across the program window (shared below).  I tried manipulating the text under the effects control window to see if anything would pop up, but the text remained invisible (though not sure if it's even there, as I can't select it).  Thank you!

I am unable to launch Premiere pro and i have already give access in privacy and security. I am using Macbook Pro Mac macOS 27.0.1.I have also deleted creative cloud completely and restart and reinstalled creative cloud but the problem is same.Kindly give solution    

Anybody else having problems seeing a masked clip when you press play on the timeline? I have a few clips with a simple pen mask on each and, for some reason, every time I press play to watch a section I don't see the clips at all. Once I pause they're there, though. The clips are enabled, and they show up when rendered so as far as I can tell there's no reason they shouldn't be visible on playback. Thanks! Edit: Okay, seconds after I posted this I figured it out. If you have your timeline anywhere below full resolution that clip is gone on playback. Why this happens, though, I’ve got no clue.

 When I pause, the image changes scale. When I zoom in smoothly, the image starts to shake. I haven't applied a shake effect; I want a smooth zoom in the photo. I also noticed another issue—with high-resolution photos, the rendering time increases tenfold. I applied a smooth zoom to the photo over the course of 20 seconds, and the rendering time increased by 10 minutes. Without the photo, the rendering time is 2 minutes.

I realize I can undo a clip razor cut in history; but later in the process, is it possible to glue the two parts of a clip together. I know I can just slide them side by side,or even group the two segments, but can i glue them together?kdoc

Hi guys, super frustrating.  I am trying to drag and drop a motion graphic into my timeline, but every time I try it says that it is not compatible with my version of premiere and to update to the latest version.  My Premiere and AE are both up to date.This happens with every graphic I try to pull over from the adobe stock essential graphics tab. Screenshots attached. 

Hello, I'm the author of a Premiere Pro plugin called "Mask To Transform" which is able to convert the tracked mask into position/scale/rotation keyframes that can be applied to a Trasnfrom effect to e.g. make motion graphics "stick" to an object in the scene etc. My plugin is officially available in Exchange: here's the link https://exchange.adobe.com/apps/cc/105713/mask-to-transform Now with the new masking soluion in Beta my customers are writing to me that my plugin stopped working and it would be amazing if I can make it work with the new (and admittedly pretty awesome) object masking. The problem is that the object mask data sits in a binary file on disk and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to read it.  So my question is: for the purposes of extention development is there a way to somehow read the data stored in these object mask files? Thanks,Kamil

Am running Premiere 25.6.1 [ Build 2 ]   The Rippled Edit ( B ) tool no longer works the same way that it's always done.  With the tool selected and you move the track, it slides/moves the clip dynamically on the timeline, similar to the Slip ( Y ) tool, and this is hurting my muscle memory ... badly to give me an anxiety attack.  I have used the Ripple Edit tool for 20+ years, and I fear that this isn't a bug, but a deliberate change.   If you're trying to edit based on audio waveforms, it's particularly bad as it's hard to see the leading edge of the waveform against the cut point. Is there a setting to revert this to the way it's literally been for 20 years.  Please don't break my muscle memory, Adobe. Please!   thanks. Geoff    

With the newest update and AI that premiere uses, when I mask a subject it creates an incorrect mask. With the pen masking it won’t let me track the mask properly. I’ve updated all of my drivers, premiere, my laptop (windows Asus Vivobook 15) tried different settings. I’m working with Nvidia as my GPU. It’s up to date. I’ve tried previous version of premiere and it didn’t change anything. NEED HELP.

Hello, I've been using Premiere Pro for over 3 years, but recently, I've been experiencing crashes every time I try to add captions (text). I've tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the software, using previous versions, and even switching to the default font (Arial). The issue occurs after about 3 minutes of working on captions, and when it crashes. If I work on something else than caption such as simple trimming and color grading, it doesn't crash. After it crashes, I receive an error message, although it doesn't identify any specific issues.       I'm using a MacBook, fully updated as well.

On Premiere pro static transcript works, but text based editing transcript says no audio detected. It only happened after updating to the most recent version 26.5.2. I have tried going back to previous versions but it still will not work. I have a collection of clips and on 2 or 3 of the clips it will pickup a sentence or two but that is it. Yet if I do the static transcript generation every single line is transcribed perfectly. I don’t understand why the text based version won’t work:(
