Hi,   I have the very latest drivers from Intel Oct 22 '25, 32.0.101.8247 and an 12gb intel ARC B580  with 32gb DDR5 intel i7-12700k Just insanely laggy jittery playack of imported files... Been a while since I have been in this software, kinda expected better...   MArk.

I want to press the Analyze button and continue working. But the video analysis doesn't work the first time, I have to press it again. It's inconvenient. Don't ask about the configuration; this problem occurs on different PCs. All updates are installed, even on the monitor.

The two buttons at the bottom of my timeline are now reversed?  If I spred them apart the timeline zooms in.  If I move them closer together the timeline expands.  I imagine I accidentally clicked on some options but not sure.

Whilst filming, I was given an audio file of an interviewee from my DoP, and I started pulling selects onto a timeline just to make sure we had the right soundbites. I’ve now got a synced video file (same length, same content), and I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way in Premiere to replace the audio-only clips with this new video/audio file so the video appears on the timeline without manually re-cutting everything.When I try right-click then replace footage, the clip updates to show the audio/video icon in the project panel, but only the audio shows up in the timeline.. no video appears. Is there a way to get the video portion onto the timeline from those already-edited audio clips? Any help/advice greatly appreciated! 

Did I miss 'Render In to Out' being removed a while ago or has this just happened? Either way any idea why it's gone and has anyone got a workaround to help render small sections when needed for smooth playback?I've tried 'Render Selection' but it just seems to play through without actually rendering, so I must be missing something there? Cheers!

Hi all, I'm using a MacBook Pro, 14 inch, 2021; Apple M1 Pro, 16 GB, Sonoma 14.5 Since the latest update, Premiere Pro (24.5.0 build 57) has been changing the audio levels in the timeline. I'm recording MP4 on a Canon XA-75. The levels are correct as recorded, peaking at about -6dB.  Earlier today, when I was editing, the audio levels were normal in the timeline, and it all sounded find. Halfway through the edit, the audio levels of all the segments in the timeline had shot up to zero, basically all red and completely distorted. This has happened a couple of other times in the past two weeks. I also have tried to set the correct levels in one segment, copying them, then pasting the attributes in the rest of them to save time. That did not work. I also tried setting the audio gain to -6dB on all the segments by right-clicking and going to audio gain in the pull-down menu. Hi,When I uploaded my Nikon MOV files (Video Codec Type: MP4/MOV H.264 4:2:0  (Full Range)) into Premiere Pro 2019 they don't play video. I got audio only, and frozen video.On my very old laptop and Kdenlive editing software this was working smoothly without problem. Do I need to buy any codec or do anything else to be able such files in Premiere Pro?[1] I took small part of a .MOV clip (about 5 seconds), exported it into .mp4 file (took about 4 minutes!) - and such file works. Why is not playing in Premiere Pro and why takes so long time for just 5 seconds?[2] Files .MOV play very well in any video player in the system, only not in PP.

Latest Premiere pro 25.5 transcriptions are broken

When rendering video from drone footage (Codec: MPEG-H Part2/HEVC (H.265) (hvc1)) I get the error "Failed to install the following item: C:\users\publicx\documents\AdobeInstalledCodecsTier2\4.3\mc_enc_hevc.dll". "Close your other applications, make sure you have write access to this location and that there is enough free space on your hard drive. Alternatively, try deleting the folder C:\users\publicx\documents\AdobeInstalledCodecsTier2 and restarting the application." When I then click OK, I get the following message: "This file requires the HEVC codec, which is included with a Creative Cloud membership. To upgrade to a paid membership, go to   I've checked everything, and I have write access to the locations. There's also more than enough disk space. In fact, last weekend there were no problems with these files in the same version of Adobe Premiere (25.5) and Adobe Media Encoder (25.6). I also have a Creative Cloud membership. It's a subscription every year. 

i dont think i ever once needed adobe to tell me that if i delete all the keyframes it will delete all the key frames... its really annoying everytime i want to clear the keyframes it warns me i am about to do exactly as i had planned to do. is there a way to disable this? 

Hi everyone, I’m developing a CEP extension for Premiere Pro 2022. The workflow of the extension is roughly as follows: I prepare several .prproj files (each containing sequences with certain effects) and store them in a presets directory. My CEP panel allows users to freely import any of these preset .prproj files, and the extension will insert the chosen sequence into the current project as an adjustment-layer. I’m using the importSequences() API. I'm trying to import footage that was shot on the Alexa 35 Xtreme in Arri's new ARRICORE codec but I get the Error Message: Unsupported format or damaged file. Is there something I'm missing? According to Arri's webside I should be able to edit ARRICORE footage without any transcoding. I'm able to work with this footage in both Davinci Resolve and in Arri's Reference Tool.  I'm using the latest version of Premiere [25.5.0] on M1 Pro - Macbook Pro with latest MacOS installed [26.0.1] How can I work with ARRICORE footage in Premiere without any transcoding? 

I'm attempting to render a short film into a Quicktime Prores 4444 codec in Premiere Pro. This is the requiref format for a film festival I am sending the film to. After rending however the playback is stuttery and doesn't play smoothly. My setup is 16gb RAM, 6820k with a intel HD 530 graphics card. Could the poor playback be due to my Windows computer rather than the file itself? I re-rendered a prores 4444 back into an mp4  through Adobe Media Encoder and it played smoothly. I'm wondering if the poor

Hello,after upgrading to Premiere Pro 24(Beta) and as from today to 24.0 I have the problem, that after exporting video it freezes at some frame for 5-8 seconds, audio still plays but video not.After re-exporting it again, it freezes again but already at another random spot. This is just a wedding video without any special effects (only film convert plugin applied). I already tried to export another video from another project, it's also freezes at random spot for 5-8 seconds. I also uploaded an example video of it (177MB):https://1drv.ms/v/s!AhbzsGamhYmj_mGshK2_EaOqblfK?e=6B1yoa I already re-installed Premiere Pro but unfortunately it did not help.  

Hey everyone, just posting this here hoping that I'm just being dull and that the problem I'm encountering actually has a fix which I'm failing to spot. Essentially, ever since yesterday Premiere Pro has decided to stop outputting any audio via the headphones plugged into my laptop. Following are some key details:the headphones work, audio comes through them from the laptop if I'm just playing a video (even with PP open), though no audio comes out of PP.the bars in the volume mixer show audio playing, though no sound comes through. the problem persists with different headphones. if I unplug the headphones, the audio automatically plays via the laptop speakers (and it plays fine).edit>preferences>audio hardware set to either headphones or system default does not change or fix the problem, nor does changing between MME and ASIO.yesterday,  whenever I played footage in PP, I got a warning reading: "Unable to fill rectangle: GDI status: "ValueOverflow"". Hi, I have an issue after importing an AAF file from Avid, and in particular lost audio. To begin, a timeline was first created in Avid working with the PXL files (captured from a mobile phone), and this absolutely includes audio.  All this was exported within Avid to an AAF file; from the screenshot you can now see this within PP and looking to the "Mobile Phone" bin within the Project panel.  In the Source monitor there is video but no audio playing.  And on the timeline, corresponding with the Record monitor, you can see a Video track but nothing on the Audio track (there is also no Audio on the timeline corresponding to the Source). I have no idea what is going on here because, again, there absolutely is audio.  Also, double-checking with Avid and the AAF file was exported with the audio tracks switched on (and this wouldn't affect the original PXL file anyway, currently showing up in PP's Source monitor with no audio). Please advise, DC

Hi. Why can I render from the Project window in the 2025 example? Let me explain in more detail: if you're editing in a sequence but accidentally click on any file in the Project window before exporting, the selected file is exported, not the selected area in the sequence. Furthermore, if you accidentally select a file in the Project window, the working sequence will appear in the Export window with the selected input and output. This is a bug; it shouldn't be like this.

Dear Adobe Team, I’ve noticed that the “Ripple Trim In” command is no longer available in Premiere Pro 2025. This was a very useful tool for trimming clips from their In point to the playhead, and its removal has significantly disrupted my editing workflow. While alternatives like “Ripple Trim to Playhead (Next/Previous Edit)” still exist, they affect all clips on the timeline, not just a single selected one. The original “Ripple Trim In” gave precise control over individual clips — and this level of precision is important in fast-paced editing environments. I I’ve been editing for 20–25 years. I came from Final Cut Pro 7, which I used for a decade without major failures. I moved to Premiere in 2016 because I liked the classic layout and viewer windows. But the truth is simple: Premiere has never been as stable for me as FCP7 was. Adobe engineers have always been kind and helpful, and this isn’t about them. This is about repeated instability across version after version. I’m not changing my workflow. I’m not changing how I build sequences. I’m not doing anything unusual. I’m shooting weddings and corporate work with normal cameras and normal codecs. Yet every major release—16, 18, 24, 25—breaks something that worked in the previous version. When 24.x.6 or .7 finally becomes stable, 25 introduces new issues. And somehow, the default response is always that the user did something wrong. When we apply Warp Stabilizer on a clip where there is a Lumetri Color effect it takes forever to analyze the clip. Step to replicate:  - Import a h265 10 bit 420 3840x2160 clip into premiere. - Put the clip on a 4k timeline and apply the lumetri effect with a LUT. You can also right click on the source footage, go to modify -> color -> override media color space -> select a LUT such as Panasonic vlog. - Now apply the Warp Stabilizer. It takes hours to complete on a 5 seconds clip. If you apply Warp Stabilizer without the color correction it is really fast. It takes 10-15 seconds on a 5 seconds clip.  Now this is another really HUGE PROBLEM: if you apply Warp stabilizer and then Lumetri color, it's fast. But if you save the project, close Premiere and reopen it, the playback of the stabilized clip is REALLY SLOW. Render and replace the original clip is impossible (we have hundreds of clips). Why did you guy remove the percentage from the encoder in Frame.io v4 renderer?  Without that I can't tell if it freezes, which as we all know happens in premiere pro far too often.   How can I see the percentage instead of a generic circle status bar?
