Hello Adobe Community,I’m writing this post out of sheer frustration and to hopefully get some constructive guidance. I recently worked on a project for a client who provided HDR footage (iPhone HEVC, Rec. 2020 Hybrid Log Gamma). Despite spending countless hours troubleshooting, the project ended up getting canceled because the rendered videos always looked different from the source.Here's what happened:The Problem:Mismatch Between Source and Exported Colors:My source footage looked fine in VLC but was oversaturated or weirdly mapped in Premiere Pro.I tried changing the project settings to every combination: Rec. 2020 HLG, Rec. 2100 HLG, Rec. 709, etc., but the exported video always had mismatched colors compared to the source.Rendered Video Looked Different in Players:The exported HEVC video appeared oversaturated or flat in VLC but looked closer to the source in PotPlayer.Even H.264 exports, while closer in color, were blurry and lacked the source quality.Client Rejected the Final Ou

Exports are lagging for MANY minutes at 100% no matter how long the project or whether it even has audio at all. Latest project now over an hour at 100% of export.Rendering sections inside a sequence for preview has no problem. Was not a problem before the latest PP update. Hello,Is there an conversion LUT for Adobe Premiere Pro? For example Davinci Resolve has an conversion LUT for Videos in Apple ProRes Log.I know how to color correct and grade, but for some Videos it is easier to have a LUT.

Using PP 23.5.0MacBook Pro M2 Chip When I edit a transcript generated by PP, the whole section of the transcript disappears. The audio and video remain; only the transcript is missing. (See attached screen shots of before and after). This just started happening within the last week. I edited several videos with complete success before this started happening.  I did not update the software, and I am unsure if any system updates were done that would cause this issue.  I have tried closing PP. Rebooting my computer. I even when back to a previous project that had been edited successfully, and I am having the same issue now with those. 

I use a Rodecaster Pro 2, Mixed my audio(all effects etc thru RC Pro), it reads between -12 and -6 Db when recording and playing back on Pro but whenever I export, regardless if Loudness Normalization, file type etc, the volume of the voice audio always comes out 15-20 DBs louder. All other sounds/music export at desired levels, just the voice. I record video on iPhone, send to drop-box, download on PC,  import to premiere pro and record voiceover on Pro, normally deleting the original audio included with IPhone vid. Thanks for any help! 

WHO KNOW THIS situation WHY???     I USE MACBOOK PRO M2    When I drag the material with my mouse, the V1 material moves, but I didn't press any keys. How can I solve this problem?

I am using the newest version of premier pro and trying to edit videos, however, I am not sure how to move video clips at once. I can do a single video, but when I selected multiple ones, nothing showed up on the effect controls panel.Can anyone give me an idea or I have to do it one by one?

Hi,I’m editing ProRes videos shot on iPhone 14 Pro Max. When I import them into Premiere Pro on Mac, they look washed out or grey.In the Project panel, the color space is Rec.2100 HLG.I tried changing it to Rec.709 using Interpret Footage → Color Space Override, but it looks even worse — dull and flat.These clips are not graded — I just want them to look normal in the timeline and stay consistent after export.What’s the correct workflow for iPhone HDR/ProRes footage in Premiere Pro?How can I fix this without color grading from scratch?Thanks! 

Currently in Premiere Pro, when I double-click a clip from the timeline, it opens in the Source Monitor, but it loads the edited instance from the sequence — including any Motion effects like Scale, Position, Rotation, etc.This is often not the behaviour I want. I would prefer the option to have it open the original, unmodified source clip, as it appears in the Project panel — especially since the Source Monitor is meant to show the source media, not timeline adjustments.Feature Request:Please add a preference setting that allows users to choose one of the following behaviours when double-clicking a clip in the timeline:Open the source clip (raw, unaltered from the Project panel).Open the timeline instance (current default behaviour).Why this matters:Frequently, I want to re-trim or review the original media without seeing timeline-specific changes like Scale = 50%.The current behaviour creates confusion and friction, especially when editing multi-resolution media or working with scale

Hello... I have big problem with Premier Pro in my 3 days new MacBook M4 Max - 36GB RAM, 2TB SSD, 14-CPU, 32-GPU and 16-NE.  I'm professional video editor, so I bought this machine for my everyday workflow. When I tested my MacBook today in Premier Pro for the first time I was really shocked... 3 days ago I created video only with footage from camera for review, on my computer at home with Windows. Today I want to render it, only for a review in 480p on hardware encoding in Premier Pro and the render really takes like 3-4 hours to render. It is like only 1 hour and 10 minutes long video only with footage and few texts. Yes... and I'm not even talking about the noisy fans. It is like Airbus on airport really... Why? It is only very easy render in 480p, not 8K footage. The MacBook also gets very very hot. Before I bought this Mac, I read lot of several reviews about how it was the best machine for work, for video editors and like it was very quiet and now, I see the o

So I recently purchased a pair of bluetooth headphones specifically to use with Adobe Premiere when I am editing late at night. Unfortunately, the audio I receive from the bluetooth headphones is very distorted and poppy whenever I use them in Adobe Premiere. However, when I switch to another program, like iTunes, or steam music from Pandora I get a much richer sound. What am I doing wrong? (Note, when I switch to my earbuds, the problem is not there anymore, just when I use my bluetooth headphones)

I am receiving the following error when I try to export. I figured if I remove the second image effect then it renders. This is very frustrating. Why would it play but not render. I worked on this file for many many days. But now not rendering. Total waste of time.

I have a multitrack audio file with 5 tracks. There's a different speaker isolated to each track. When I use the PR transcription tool, it generates a text file with Speakers 1 - 5, but it often mixes up which speaker is which, not respecting the fact that each speaker is on his own audio track in the file. Is it possible to tell the transcription tool which speaker is which, mapping them to the individual tracks in the audio file? Or barring that, transcribe each track separately and then somehow merge the resultant transcriptions into one file?

 Hello Adobe Team,In earlier versions of Premiere Pro (e.g., 2021), when pasting clips between sequences, the pasted clip respected the active target tracks (e.g., V3, V4) — as long as `PasteClipMatchesTargetTrack` was enabled in the preferences file. This behavior was extremely useful for editing efficiency and avoiding accidental overwrites.However, in the latest versions of Premiere Pro (2023–2024), this setting no longer works. Regardless of which target track is active, the pasted clips always go to their original source track (usually V1), even if that track is disabled.This causes serious workflow issues, especially when pasting into complex timelines, because it can overwrite existing clips — and there's no longer any setting (GUI or XML) to control this.Please clarify:- Was this feature intentionally removed?- If yes, could it be restored, or could you add a new preference to control paste behavior?- If not, is there any workaround to force pasted clips to follow active t

Why does this message keep popping up when im about to save a project ive been working?and then i gett this stupid error saying "Auto Save Error" Cant copy to file C or what ever , check write conditions, never experienced this as much as it keep doing

I've been recording all week in Premiere Pro, doing voice over on slides and then creating captions on these with no issues. Until today where I've done everything as usual in editing, but when I go to the 'workspaces', 'captions and graphics' I basically get the greyed out buttons that I would usually use to create captions/transcript. There is definitely narration/sound there so I'm confused as to what's happened this time. I'm thinking it's me and I've clicked or done something to disrupt this, I'm a new user and my colleague and I are self-taught. I've tried searching for the same issue but nothing quite the same comes up. I'm using Windows if that helps and only recently (in last 2 weeks, got Pr installed) Can anyone help as I need to get captions back up and running on this. 

Hello, I just updated to Premiere Pro 25.2.0 on an HP Z6 G4 with a Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 running Win 10.The option to select software Video Rendering and Playback is not available anymore. It was available on the same machine until version 25.1.0.We keep CUDA disabled on certain machines because of playback issues. Not sure what the cause of this could be?Thanks,

Hallo!  Ich habe eine Reihe Projekte in einer Produktion. immer das zuletzt geschlossene Projekt ist nach einem Neustart des Computers direkt mit dem roten Schloss als gesperrt markiert. Ich als Besittzer kann das natürlich öffnen, aber andere vermutlich nicht.  Any idea?

Having found a problem with Premiere 2020 when using the captioning app, I was told on this forum that upgrading to the latest version would greatly help. Looking at the specifications for the latest update of Premiere told me that if I could install Monterey, that would be enough (for the time being at least - Monterey will be discarded in November, apparently). I have had Monterey 12.7.6 installed, and the same message appears: it's not compatible with the latest Premiere. But I see that the driver for the GPU video card, NVIDIA, is not 'currently supported' on my new OS version. I saw a message telling me that it would use the Apple default until a compatible driver was available. So I'm stuck again!

I am trying to set up an automation that removes clips from a sequence only, not the entire project, based on whether or not it's selected. Files attached for how I have it set up. I started out using the clip.remove execute code as defined in the block reference, but that ended up only deleting every other clip in track 1. I then used chat GPT to modify the execute code.  So far I have it working but once it has successfully removed the clips, I get an error "execution result:could not find item 1 in track Video 7 (the track contains no items at all) (line 6)". This is because my clip.remove block is still going even after removing the selected clips. I am not sure how to revise the execution code so that it stops after successful removal.  Files attached for how I currently have it set up. If anyone has a better solution to removing clips based on attributes that would be awesome. Ideally it would remove the clips if they are enabled (weird I know), but the way I curre

Hi, I guess I should clarify, that when I say the footage is turning black, I mean the preview of the footage in the program monitor will be completely black. And it isn't just a visual bug within the Program Monitor either. If I export the footage, the result is all black as well (again, for the 360 footage. the normal footage is fine). I've been using adobe premiere to edits my videos for a while now. Normally my videos consist of GoPro action footage as well as some drone. Recently I've been videoing with the 360 camera, GoPro Hero Max. The footage it takes is remarkable and I was so happy to hear there was a plug in to edit the 360 footage within Premiere. Except things haven't been super smooth trying to edit it... The actual process of editing the 360 footage is surprisingly easy and I can understand it fairly well despite not doing anything too fancy with it. But the problem starts when I go to correct an edit I've made or add additional effects on one clip. I'm n

Even after installing the Adobe Plugin for Blackmagic RAW (and restarting everything), when I import my braw files into Adobe, Adobe comes with the message, that I need the Plug-in, leading me to everything I have already done.      Although after clicking okay, the files to actually import and I can edit them in Premiere. Why is it like this? Is this a mistake or can I really not edit with the imported braw?    I am working with Premiere 24.6.1 and the plugin is also the latest (Blackmagic RAW 4.2: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/event/blackmagicrawinstaller). My macbook is on Ventura 13.6.7.   I'd be very glad for anyone's help and insight :)!

It's affecting my workflow, especially when trying to play back or link Premiere to After Effects. If this has happened to you, or if you have any solutions, I'd really appreciate your help.
