Hi All,first let me say that I am quite a beginner with the Adobe world, so maybe it has an easy fix.I was playing around with Adobe Stager, and imported some knitted fabric I downloaded from Substance adobe Assets library, but despite what I do, the fabric looks very flat...is it normal?See screenshot for reference.. I even had the ray tracing on. Any help is highly appreciated!  Thank You!!!  

Hello, When i export an OBJ from illustrator and import it into stager, the model is spread out all over the canvas. Why is that and how can i bring it in so it reflects the shape that i had created in illustrator? The top image is before i export and the bottom is the model placed in stager?   

I keep changing my pixels per inch to 300 in the render settings, but the file keeps coming out at 72 dpi. What am I doing wrong? I have a full license. 

Ive recently tried to get substance collection as i saw it was free if you were a studernt (https://substance3d.adobe.com/education/) Though i got my code and redeemed it to my account it seems that it has redeemed to a different account or was not added to my account correctly and the code that i got previously worked and i had redeemed it now it says that it was redeemed although it wasnt

Hello, I am new to substance 3d and I am having an issue with my image wrapping around my ice cream container. I am able to place the graphic on the lid perfectly fine but when it comes to wrapping an image around the container it never wraps right or it looks off. Is there a way to set up my file in a way that I can build an ai or image file that fits the shape perfectly so It will wrap around? Or does anyone have any other solutions? these images show me trying the fill and decal options. I attached the ai file i am trying to import below.  

Hello experts, I've loaded a FBX untextured into Stager, letting the app to auto create the UV from scratch. The result is so ugly, so I'd like to ask you what is your workflow for UV texturing objects inside or outside Stager. Thanks!Anto

After importaing any art from painter, I can never work or set up a scene for more than a few min at a time becasue still the most basic of stuff like duping lights, toggling the visibility of just about anything off and on to see it's effect on the scene, grouping and moving things in the scene manager, causes this program to hault to a hard freeze and lock up entirely. I REALLY hope the team ise aware of how unstable this is because when I can actually get some reults out of the program, it really does look great with minimal effort. But I still have to reboot the program probably 10 times in 20 min of work with how often it crashes/freezes. And it's not just the content I am working on. We can repro these issues with artist team members using other content in the program at my studio.

I cant open Stager successfully anymore since yesterday anymore. I worked on two macs with Stager, Painter and Sampler MBP M1 and IMac 2013 Mojave until now successfully. I didnt changed anything on my iMac. I reinstalled the app, erased the PRAM - but nothing. Painter works fine .... What can it be?

When rendering with raytracing does it get rid of the AO maps completely? When in realtime you can see the AO maps being properly applied but the minute I try to switch it to raytracing it completely ignores the AO maps. I get that the funtion of ray tracing is to kinda get those shadows and what not, but why would it still completely get rid of the AO maps?

Good morning. I have an undress charachter for a trying of  a vr game. I need to animate it for first and then i will dress it. Can i upload it anyway? I'll dress it after the animation. I ask because i don't have see undress charachters with all the "package". That's the character indeed

I'm trying to place an image on my surface material but once it's placed I can't see it. I converted it to a standard model and everything and the image is on the property panel but nowhere to be seen on the material.Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks 🙂 

I'm working on windows 10 on the most up to date version of Stager.The issue I'm running into is something to do with the way may material is being rendered, it's like when it goes into ray trace the AO map is just forgotten or something? I've attached two pictures and you can see the problem on the solid knit on the right. In real time it looks correct and how I made it in Designer, but in raytracing it gets completely flattened? I'm not sure what the issue is or how I'm supposed to fix it. I haven't run into this before.

Hi,How can I add additional 3d models to the model panel?Actually these are 2 questions,Where can i download more 3d models Whne I create my own models, can I add them to the 'Model' panel so that they are always available, or can I only import them on deman?

When you move or change the light around the shadows go completely wild don't have any consistency. when you add a light it not right or croect with the environmentWhen I rendering image it looks nothing like the preview image  HELP i dont understand Running on Mac  

I'm using Adobe 3D Stager in order to make product presentation scenes for my company. We need to share the 3D scenes with the share link, but it's not working correctly. At first it would work with no issue, but now every time I try to create a new link, a pop-up says that it's "impossible to publish". Sometimes, the link is published flawlessly, but it's very uncommon, and I have no clue why it's happening.  I'm using Adobe 3D Stager Version 1.2.2-20220621.r.5262-fd37d0d on a macOS Monterey v.12.0.1.

Hello. I try substance3d. BUT... Unable to insert text. (T) I don't see the scene. Why ? 

16" M1 Max, 64GB  I've been struggling through my most recent project. While my files are large 700mb-1.5gb the application now takes roughly 5-10 mins to open these files and depending on how much work i've done 10-15 minutes to save a file. The application seems pretty stable and I don't really experience many crashes and actual run-time performance is ok. I've put a LOT of time into this suite and really didn't want to have to jump to Keyshot, but at this point the amount of time I spend saving and opening files is a deal breaker. If this a known issue and or related to the "emulation mode"? As you've stated there currently isn't any plan to provide native support for M1 so I guess I'm left with no choice? Truly unfortunate...

I made two scenes in Stager. After saving them, closing the app and restarting the PC later that day, the files would't open anymore. I did as I was told by the error message and emailed links to the project files and the log file to substance3d-bugs@adobe.com (on 21 June 2022). I haven't received an answer as of yet but I need to access those files next week. Is there anything I can do to make the files work again?Is there anything I can do to prevent that happening to other projects? Build 1.2.1-20220610.r.8098-e714b91Windows 10 

Hi there,I want to switch from dimension to stager.The main reason is missing light settings in dimension.My question is whether I can place light source inside objects, like tents.Attached is a dimension sample image, inside tent is pretty dark.Does stager software help to achieve my lightning problem?Thank you for support.BestHans

Hello experts, I am trying to get the result as below in Stager:2 aspects I don't know how to achieve in Stager:Firstly, as you can see, the light is casting the purple color of the glass bottle on the ground. I've tried to play with the glass material but can not get this result, Kindly any hints on how to achieve this?Secondly, I found that when we set up multiple lights for a better lighting result for the bottle, it is no way to control which light can cast the shadow. What's more, all lights are brightening certain areas of the ground surface (no matter whether it is the "group" in Stager or it is an object), and it is an unwanted "side effect" to the final result. Are there any ways in Stager that enable us to control surfaces receiving lights or not as we do in MAYA? Or are there any specific methods we can use in Stager? Looking forward to suggestions... Thanks a lot in advance! 

Hello experts,I am working on a project that uses substance family to somehow replace cosmetic products' studio photography. I am wondering how to create or simulate reflection on a glass bottle that we usually see in cosmetic product ADs (please see attached image for example).I've tried out area light but it's reflected but casting too much light to the scene;I've also tried to apply emissive material to a plane but hardly find the reflection of it on the glass objects...Or should I work more on the material? Does anyone have a similar experience that can share with you? Any suggestions and tips will be appreciated. Thanks in advance! example of the expected result:
