Hi all, I'm using RH 2019 (New). When I apply a masterpage to my PDF output, it only applies the header and footer elements to certain pages, seemingly at random.  After starting a new TOC from scratch, it seems tied to the inclusion of more Chapters. If I add one or two, it's fine. On chapter three or four, the masterpage header and footer seems to be introduced periodically.  But the stylesheet attached to the masterpage is applied regardless. I'm continuing to test, but would be interested to know if anyone else has had this issue. I have the masterpage applied to all pages etc via the PDF output config.

I am a new user of RH using RH2019. Considering the quantity of problems, my impression is that RH2019 is not even an alpha version of a software but an on-going devlopment project, certainly not a ready to use commercial product.1. I imported a small FM .book (6 topics). I modified the new CSS created and linked it to the Contents. In the document workspace, the stylesheet is applied and the text displays correctly. Everything seams OK in the HTM and the CSS files which I inspected. But when I published to HTML5 and WebHelp, the styles are not applied, and all the paragraphes display as if they were all <p>. No errors in the log file.2. Images do not appear neither.3. A generated ePub when open with Calibre shows up correctly but in the table of contents, only the first level (heading 1) displays the corresponding page, clicking on the second level of TOC entries produces an error message, the link to the page does not work.When the ePub is open with Adobe Digital Edition, nothi

Hello community, I just installed RH 2020 and had a look in the translation capabilities. The fact is that the translations are stored in a separate project. Up to now I also had a separate project for each language. Now I was wondering if there is a way to connect these existing projects for the new interface so that the existing translations are not lost. Is there a possibility for this or what is the preferred procedure?   Thanks a lot.

Hi, I've searched this forum and Adobe help and so far haven't found any answers. I am a relatively new user to RH so don't know if something has not been set up right or there are other reasons.I am trying to turn an image in a topic into a thumbnail. I've watched the Adobe Reimagined video ( which seems straightforward) but I don't get the same result.I have dragged a png file from my images folder into a topic, then clicked the thumbnail box and entered the thumbnail size. When I have gone to preview I don't get the thumbnail and my image is just the same as it appears in the topic. If I generate - its still the same sized image - no thumbnail.The html code shows: <img data-thumbnail="150 90" src="../assets/images/Setup screen.png" />  Is there some html code missing that will make this work?ThanksAli

Hi, Whenever I am publishing the project in Word doc, images are not getting exported in word doc. I can see only textual content being exported. Need immediate help on this. Options I tried to fix the issue: 1. Enabled Macros in word doc and tried again (Didn't work) 2. Updated patch as suggested on Adobe site (Didn't work)

Hi - Have a help topic with the "thumbnails" image feature (clicking the thumbnail pops out the full-size image). As far as I remember (it was a long time ago), to do this you had to select Manage Thumbnails in output, and then tag the image with a "Zoom" style. This has worked fine when published to a local share drive (internal to company). Alas, security means that modern browsers won't launch the local file link (although you can copy the link and paste to browser, and it will open). After porting the help to SharePoint (2013, if it matters), the "pop up" image appears to be disabled. Not sure if the browser won't deal with the javascript or not (tried on Explorer, Edge, Chrome). It still works when launched from local source however (both in IE and Edge). Any thoughts on how to fix in SharePoint?  TIAGEO

I have installed Robohelp 2020 and I cannot generate any pdf output. I can generate word output. I have tried a project that I upgraded from RH 2019 and a brand new project that I have created in RH 2020 and the result is the same. Also the user guide says you should be able to a look at the log to see the error but I dont get any warning symbol next to the pdf output preset to select, like the guide says. 

I am using RoboHelp for linking between topics and such. I have been able to link Word just fine, but would like to know if there is a way to link Excel to a page? If linking an Excel sheet is not possible, is there a way to make a hidden book or page? I would like that if I have to copy an Excel Sheet into a page in RoboHelp, that the link can exist without the page being seen in the Table of Contents.

We are using lowercase on the Responsive Web HTML5 output but we found out that all of our topics were broken when trying to use index.htm?rhmapno=###. I was able to manually edit the .ali file to fix the problem but is there a way this can be fixed? 

We are attempting to use the latest version of Robohelp 2019 14.0.6. With the application open but not processing or generating anything, Robohelp 2019 is taking up 3.5 gb of RAM memory, which is quite substantial. The strangely large about of consumed ram is causing slowdowns, sluggishness, and unresponsiveness in the application which is making using the software quite cumbersome. It there a configuration change we can make to reduce the amount of RAM RH2019 is eating up? Anything that we can do to make the software a bit more usable?

Hi, Can you please help me understand what is the differences between Frameless vs HTML5 output. when would i pick one vs the other? Also, is the Frameless output accessible? thanksGagan

I'm using the pre-built About RoboHelp project to test .chm output for a new project, and I'm wondering what I'm missing.The following image is the output log using the standard Microsoft HTML Help output preset.This happens regardless of the project, as I've tried doing the same with my personal project and get the same error. It seems like it stops at the packaging stage, and I feel like I may just be missing some Windows component. 

I am currently using RH 2019 with new UI. When generating a Word output, the mapping option does not appear to have the option to map List styles. So, all List Styles are converted to Normal style in Word.This requires every list in the Word document to be assigned a Word style manually, as I use several list styles. Is there a way to get Word to recognize different List styles?

Hello community,in my word-export the svg graphics are missing. I found this post but that doesn't fix my problem.I created a test project and can reproduce the behavior. SVG graphics are missing, when they are in a table. Because I have some icon-explanation in my help and svg warning symbols, this is really a bad thing. Thank you. PS: I'm using RH 2019 14.0.4 and the latest Word version (2006 (build 13001.20384))

HiI have come across a couple of issues in the Word output:An extra space at the beginning of every page.Lists (ol, ul) not rendering as expected. The list and the content are in two different lines.Empty pagesIs there a way to fix the above or do we need to get it fixed manually in the Word doc?

RoboHelp 2019.0.12 1. Folder 1 and Folder 2 in the TOC of my output both contain the identical topic called "How To."2. "How To" resides in Folder 1 in the project files, but is also TOC'd in Folder 2.3. When I click on "How To" in Folder 2 of the TOC, the TOC placement jumps to Folder 1. How do I keep the users place in the TOC at the topic they clicked (ie., Folder 2)?

HiIs there a way to set the header container as non scrolling in the Topic page. Can this be done in RH or do we need to tweak the CSS?I am using Chrome as the browser and I would like the contents in the body to scroll beneath the header.

I am using the Review feature. I can select and send my topics to review. But when I want to access them from the link, nothing is displayed (cf screenshot). I sent them to my colleague and she has the same issue.Can someone help me? Thanks

I created two bookmarks in a topic. I followed instructions to create hyperlink to bookmarks but bookmarks do not show up in Insert link. How can I create a link to a bookmark in a topic?Please ignore this post. I finally figured it out!!
