In my project I have two image folders: images and images_draft. The images_draft is for rough placeholder screenshots that I need to do again, so I can easily find them. Once I have copied the final image over the original image in the drafts folder (with Windows Explorer), I move the finished image within the RH UI from the draft folder to the images folder, so that all links in all topics are updated. However, today I moved 20 or so images at the same time. One of the topics that had a link to one of these images is now 0 kb. I noticed more topics (and even a complete TOC) disappearing randomly over the past few weeks. Now is the first time I could pinpoint it.Not sure if this also happens when moving a huge number of topics themselves around. Seems to me like some kind of timing error that just stops writing a file that is being copied. If this can be reproduced this is a SERIOUS bug... My project is on my local disk, as is RH. Hi,another question for printed documentation which drives me crazy.In my RH 2017 Classic project, I have multiple tables and table styles:* By default and in the table style "celum", the table should have all borders.* In the table style "no-border", the table should have no borders. I am using a dedicated css file for the print output (so no Word style mapping) and everything else works fine, but no matter which table style is applied to a table in my project, the borders are never present in the Word output, even though I am explicitly (and with !important) specifying the borders for all relevant table styles as well as the default table in the print.css:table { table-layout: auto ! important ; width: 100%; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif ! important; border: 1px solid #585858; } table td { vertical-align: top ! important ; word-break: break-word !important; padding: 5px ! important ; border: 1px solid #585858; } table th { vertical-align: middle ! import

Using RH 2019.0.10  -  the front cover of a PDF is inserted at the start of the document AND also at the end of the document. This was not happening in 2019.0.9.This is messing with the page numbering if I delete the erroneous page so a quick fix is desirable. Is anyone else experiencing it? ThanksMichelle

When I generate to Microsoft HTML the CHM file does not show me the names of the topics because they are in cycillic, I only see those signs -, _, /.I have already set the language to Bulgarian in the Output Presets.

I made a short video for my RoboHelp topic and inserted it as MP4. After publishing the project, the video is not loading. Is there a specific format to upload video? I used inset>multimedia. Is there another way to do it properly? Thanks

When I import a FrameMaker 2019 document into RoboHelp 2019 the svg files which were referenced into the FrameMaker document, are converted to jpg files. I do put a checkmark in "Do not regenerate files" in the import setting. I was expecting RoboHelp to use the files used in the FrameMaker document, but it seems i generates its own. Why is that?...

I have imported some word docs to Robohelp with the Autoformat option still set. Now, even when I remove the bullets in the code, when I try to use the list styles in Robohelp, I still get double bullets and numbers in my lists? Does anyone know how I remove these?

When I save a document I do not expect to be able to undo formatting changes. However I can do that in RoboHelp 2019. And "undo" does not undo just the last piece of formatting - no it takes away a long solid chunk of formatting and sets the document back to the state of last save.It seems illogical and out of sync with all other software. Is there a system to this and can I modify it somehow?

Does RH 2019 new include the ability to generate output via command line, with the output target a cloud location - such as Azure or Amazon Web Services? I'm guessing this would require a special target location/URL/service, along with corresponding user login credentials for the cloud/hosting service/site in the command line. I believe this functionality existed in prior RH versions, but never personally tested it. The overarching goal here is to automate a nightly help build + upload/update/posting to a cloud service. It may be that there are better tools to automate the uploading/posting part of this process - in which case, I would be interested in hearing what tools/services (batch file + Windows scheduler, etc.) others are using for handling that, and their experience with those tools. Note: I have successfully generated output via command line on/to my local PC/machine in RH 2019, so I do have that "part of the puzzle" figured out. Hi guys, So, the Frameless output is brilliant.  I've started moving over my entire project to it, and I'm loving it.  The way it looks is beautiful and smooth - I just have one little issue.  When I click on a Topic and it is displayed, the TOC on the left-hand side of the screen displays fine.  When I click to other items (books or topics) in the TOC it all responds like it should, in other words, the TOC responds like it should. However, when I click on a book on the home page, and that book is linked to a topic (source set to a topic), the topic it is set to displays, but the TOC remains closed.  On the Responsive HTML5 output, these books are automatically expanded, and it's contents displayed in the TOC, but with the Frameless this doesn't happen.  It's not a massive train smash, but ideally if I click on a book and the book's linked source topic is opened, it should expand that book in the TOC so the user can see that there is more to the

Hello,    I generated the output and tested it on my output folder, everything works well. But when I push the output files to my server via Filezilla to publish them on my website, the filters (tags) don't work in topics. I have an error on my browser console related to the file common.min.js which is automatically generated by RoboHelp. This error does not appear when I open the output from my local folder (Computer Folder) and appears only when I open the website. I need to import a word document into a project created using RoboHelp 2019. I need to keep the exact formatting from the word document but upon import to RoboHelp, the images are placed slightly differently. The justification was also changed from justified to left indent. Is there any way to keep the format the same format as the original word file?

I recently was working with Adobe for some support and moved my project to my desktop for troubleshooting and never moved it back onto my external hard drive which would have been automatically backed up.  BIG mistake, HUGE! My IT Ops team did a domain migration in which my profile was supposedly moved but all content on the desktop was lost, including, the largest project I manage that is accessed by multiple states. IT Ops is running a deep dive recovery program but my fear is it will not work and I just wondered, if there is a remote chance to rebuild the project from any of the output folders, locally and/or on the RH Server 10 that we use?  Worst case is I have to go back to my last backup which was 3 months ago and redo the work. Hi all, am hoping someone can help solve this as I am very frustrated by this issue! I have researched this problem on this site but can find no answer that works for me. My problem is that random png images do not appear in my project manager or in the HTML5 output. This usually occurs when they are in tables.  This has happened before, and I once solved it by double clicking the image and clicking OK, then Save. This seemed to register the image’s presence, but this is not working now. Details:I am using Robohelp Classic 2019.My files are all on the local drive.I have tried deleting the CPD file from File Explorer and restarting/regenerating projectI have checked the box under Options which deletes the CPD file automaticallyI've looked at the HTML code and copied rows/cells from the same table where the images are showing.The images are inserted by selecting Insert Image and selecting an image.When I insert the rogue image elsewhere in the project and sa

Good morning ladies and gents, I started a new project with the Frameless Dark skin this week, and I've run into a problem.  I'm not sure if it's a common issue or if it's just me, but it seems like the breadcrumbs Home button/link is broken.  It keeps taking me back to a topic that I no longer have in my project, the First_Topic.htm topic that is the default topic when you create a new project.  I have tried to find out where I can edit the information for that topic, but I can't find it.  When I click it here, it just gives me a broken link error, because obviously the topic doesn't exist.  I want the button/link to take me back to the home page for the project.  It's the Home link/button I have in the attachment. Can someone please assist?  If I click the Title bar/icon it takes me back to where I want to be without an issue.  Ideally the Home button/link would do the same?

Hi,I am trying to change some of the labels in my project, but I am just not able to. I navigated to the Labels file, clicked the "..." icon, and then selected Edit. I am expecting this to open up a label editor. But nothing happens.Could you please check and let me know if I am doing something wrong? Thanks!

Hi,I am using RH 11 and Visual Studio for source control.I need to take an archived version of my RH project and open it for edits that do not go in the current project.When I unzip my archive, it automatically links it to source control and downloads the latest version of the project.It supplants the current project in source control, and even changes the path mapping in source control to match that of the archive project.So what I need to be able to do is open my archive project without it interfacing with source control. Is there a file I can edit that links the project to source control? I can't even open the project in RH because it hijacks the source control mapping.Thanks.

Hi guys, I've been using a lot of drop-down text section in my documentation.  I use them to show/hide additional information on certain sections, and I have anything between 2 and 10 of them on each of the pages in my documentation, so I can't just leave them out.   However, since upgrading my project to the 2019 layout, I keep getting "failures" on my drop-down text sections.  A bunch of them simply stopped working, in other words they don't "drop down" when I double-click them in the editor, and they also don't work when I click them in the HTML5 output.   Further, in the previous version (2017), I used to simply copy-paste the collapsed drop-down text section to where I needed a new one (because I have some containers in them I use across the board) and edited the images or tables as needed.  When I do the same now, it seems the drop-downs get linked together, so if I open up one in the output, they all open up and the images are all stuffed up.   I di
