Hi,I'm using RoboHelp 2019.0.10 (with the new GUI) in German. I try to import a Word document. New topics shall be created when text in the Word document is formatted with the style "Überschrift 1", which means "Heading 1". When importing the Word document, RoboHelp does not recognize "Überschrift 1" but only "Heading 1". Compare the image WordImportProblem.png. I select the option "Neues Thema aus Format starten" (means: Start new topic with style) and select "Heading 1".When importing my document RoboHelp does not recognize any "Heading 1" styles and does not create new topics. The reason may be: There is no style with the name "Heading 1" in my document, only "Überschrift 1".The German Word edition always uses internally the name "Überschrift 1" for "Heading 1". I cannot change this. When RoboHelp is not able to recognize this quite important style, how can I use RoboHelp for importing Word documents?THXMatthias LohrerRedML.de

Generating of MS Word or PDF output files with the following log entries:autodid not return a double?And the Word or PDF file hasn't been created. Please help as I have to provide the Word format too for my clients, beside the now working HTML5 output.

Hello,I have been working with my software development team to do a proof of concept of migrating a context sensitive help project from Oracle Help to HTML5 Responsive Help. Exciting times! Is anyone making context sensitive calls to HTML5 responsive help that is installed locally without a web server? We have found that calls with the ? in them require HTTP processing/web server. Without a web server, the context sensitive call is not completed, just the call to the index file and default landing page for the help system. As a viable workaround, the developer has created a redirect file for each entry point into the help. So, we do have a go forward plan, but these redirect files introduce additional maintenance work for development as the help system changes over time so I would like to see if anyone has call syntax that works without a web server. Thanks!

Adobe RoboHelp 20192019.0.10I get this error when I try to generate a Word file. I have the permissions, file space etc. Even a test project with default css causes this.Anyone else getting this?

Hi Everyone, if I find a non-expected behaviour / a bug in Adobe RoboHelp, should I report that to the Adobe Support Community or should I directly create a ticket in the Adobe Tracker under https://tracker.adobe.com? What is the recommended way so that someone of Adobe can reproduce it and help me as efficient as possible? As far as I know, if I report it to the Adobe Support Community, someone of the Adobe Support Community first verifies if the behaviour is a bug and if so, creates a ticket in the Adobe Tracker. Thanks in advance and best regards,Sabine

I have a project which uses Hungarian as the default language, also the pages are set to this language.When generating output it fails: <p class="debug">responsive_skin finished.</p> <p class="debug">copy_assets finished.</p> <p class="info">Processing full-text search data...</p> <p class="debug">Cannot set property 'label' of undefined</p> <p class="error"></p> <p class="error">Failed to generate HU Responsive help. </p> <p class = "log" >= == == == == == == == == = </p>For me it seems the problem is with lunr, not registering the correct language tools (stemmer, trimmer, StopWordFilters).If I'm using the same project with english settings it simply generates the output without much ado.

Hello Could you please help me. I am using Robohelp 2019.  In the source files, the images are there but when i generate responsive HTML, the images are missing.   Then i have to open the robohelp file again and reinsert the image again.  The problem is that the source file is very big and i had to reinsert the images in all the pages wherever the image is missing in HTML5.  Strange thing is if a certain page has 10 images, i just have to reinsert one image in that page. then responsive html will start showing all the images in that partcular page. The file was generating the HTML5 properly earlier.  Please help me to understand why is this happening and how to correct this issue.    

Friends, have you ever applied one template to the Word output generated from RoboHelp and another template to the online help?Currently, I generate the Word output from RoboHelp and then apply the different template to the Word output. Do you think in RoboHelp you can indicate that template 1 should be applied to the Word output and template 2 to the online help output? If yes, then how? Note: By template I mean the font color, capitalization, and font size for headings, body text etc. In our project we have different specifications for the online help output and Word output. 

Hello, We are looking to install a copy of RoboHelp on our build server. Does this require a separate license? If so, is there a command line build component available for build servers that costs less than a full license? (We do not need authoring capabilities on our build server). Thanks.

Hi,   I am also facing the same problem, Could you please help and let me know what exactly needs to be done. When i generate the responsive HTML, the images are missing in the output. Then i reinserted the image. then generated the HTML5 again. the output file starts showing the image. After this i closed the robohelp file and reopened it again. Then i generated the responsive HTML5 output. Then same problem arises again. I have to reinsert the images again to fix the issue The Robohelp file that i am working on is very big. the problem appears in multiple pages.  

I just updated RoboHelp 2019 to the latest version (14.0.8) and now I cannot open any of the projects I was working on with a version of RoboHelp 2019 I installed in February 2019 and I had just been working on prior to doing the update.When I open the project it shows a message that it is "updating files", and then it shows "reading files" but it never finishes.  I've waited half an hour and it doesn't do anything.  I clic dismiss and the project is not opened.The PC is running Windows 10 Pro

R2019, new UI, update 9 and 10:is there a way NOT to publish the hts files of the snippets?Of course these files are needed somewhere in the project folder (when building the site), but when publishing the site the snippets are 'baked into' the pages, so the hts files are - as far as I know - not needed in the published folder.Reason NOT to have them published: on performing a search action, using a search term that is used in the text of a snippet that is within a drop-down, clicking on the page of the search result will open that hts file (as source code):in update 9 this bug only happened with Edge [ https://tracker.adobe.com/#/view/RH-5800 ]in update 10 now also Chrome and FireFox are affected.[BTW: it concerns snippets within snippets: the text triggering the drop-down is a snippet, the text within the drop-down is also a snippet]I would prefer not to have those hts files published.So question 1: is my statement correct that those hts files are not needed in the published version?

Hi all, I'm having trouble with the install but not sure what is wrong. This is happening when I am choosing the language and install location for Robohelp 2019. I choose english, and either default location or choose the program files folder on a win7 device and it doesn't matter but there is a tiny red x on the install location. I cannot get past this, does anyone have any insights on what might be happening? This is just for Robohelp but not the TCS suite. Also - I have downloaded the trial version with the intent on upgrading to the full version with a key that has already been purchased. System specs:Lenovo T460sDual Core Intel I58gb RAM64bit OS Thanks in advance.

RH 2019, all patches installed.  When I output to Word, it works using the sample reimagined project. But when I use a project I have created myself, it starts to generate but gets stuck when 'patching topics'. Anyone know how to get past this? 

Willam - wondering if you are referring to a "weird issue" that we are having in Responsive HTML5 with the Header bar. My coworker got a new computer, so a new install of RoboHelp 2019.  When she generated our project with customized "Charcoal Grey" layout, the header bar displays in gigantic height and covers the beginning text of the topic.  From my RoboHelp installation, header bar is fine when generated.This distortion looks like this:   Also, I can't find the "Limit scope.." option you are referring to.  Is it in Responsive HTML5 generation window or somewhere else??

Hello,I am having trouble finding recent content on automating the build of a responsive html5 help system generated with RoboHelp 2019. We would like to have my source files checked in to GIT then have the softwware team's build machine automatically use the checked in files to generate the help output from command line/script. 1) Is this supported in RoboHelp 2019? If not, will it be, and approx when?2) Does RoboHelp need to be installed on the build machine? Or is there some stripped down thingy to install on the build machine?3) Pointers to current information on this? Thanks!Christy.

We use Open Sans in Robohelp Webhelp CSS, which turns out well. However the Webhelp skin doesnt show Open Sans. We edited the .skn and added refrence to Open Sans. But to no avail. The content does show Open Sans but the sidebar with the TOC in Webhelp shows the default font. However if we install Open Sans on the machine, the Webhelp content on both panes shows Open Sans.We cant expect every user to download and/or install Open Sans.Could you Help? Regards,SunilH

I am creating a KB for a new application, and in last night's meeting, the China team told me they would like to be able to have an easy way to switch between Chinese and English. All those translate websites... do they use something like Google Translate? Or, should I simply create two KB's, use two different templates, one for English with a button in the upper right corner with a link to the Chinese version and vice versa? It's never come up before with me, but if there is no translate functionality I'm thinking of the following:Create a Chinese copy of everything I create in English.Upload the word docs into RoboHelp and recreate the hyperlinks and drop down links. Use button to change between English and ChineseThank you, happy holidays!Anahid

The following CSS error only happens w/ Word outputs.  CHM, PDF, HTML outputs all generate without errors.    Unhandled CssParser error: line 1 col 99: invalid identity. Hi fellow Helpers.   I am using drop-down help quite extensively in my project. However now when I generate the help, some of the drop downs are open (expanded) before they are clicked on. I've done a few experiments to see if there is a reason for this but I can't figure it out. Some of the drop down text is inside snippets and I'm not sure if this is causing the problem. I've tried saving and generating the help with the drop down boxes closed and I have got in the habit of resetting my browser history each time I view newly-generated help. It just seems pretty random to me.    Short of resetting the drop down links to read "Show / Hide more info" rather then "Show more info"   Which is a bit of a cop out.    Any hints, tips / revelations to get my drop downs display "un-expanded" when the help opens, would be much appreciated.    Regards   john V
