Hi,I have created new SLP files as told by support because the older ones got corrupted (dont know why). Now I have a search field  in the Topic.slp which output is OK, but the search field in the SearchResults.slp in not good - you cant see it in IE or Chorme  tried changing its size  with the mouse but that didnt help so I did redoI dont  know  how to fix the problem and I dint want to corrupt the SLP file .Layout Editor - tried resizing - didnt  change in generated output    Generated output in IE and ChromePlease helpThanksAmat

hi alli want to modify the current layout like this:- is it possible, that only the textbody is scrolling (i put a red frame)? so the glossary, index, etc. - the navigation would stay on place and you can choose at any time a theme.thank you very much

I am able to add report tools to the tool bar and get to most of the options that way. But there is no Reports option in the Tools menu. I know I have used it before, and have reinstalled Robohelp since then.

I've been using Robohelp for over 10 years....all of a sudden after I generate the project, the TOC topics in the 'contents' pane no longer appear.  Nothing has changed since I last generated a project on this computer.  Using Robohelp HTML 10 (just applied the latest update today) Windows 7.  Please help. Hello all,Searching for an answer before I posted, I saw this question from a member named Pam about RH11 posted almost a year ago, but I don't see an answer. I'm hoping there is an answer!After many years of working in RoboHelp and carrying on with inline styles, I'm now looking into changing over to style sheets. I've been tinkering with them in some test projects, and I'm having the same problem that Pam did. The process of creating and applying a style sheet is simple, as far as I can tell, yet I can't get the style sheet formatting to appear. It's in the HTML--I see the .css specified, and there are only heading tags and so on present instead of inline stuff--yet the fonts I've selected appear neither in the Styles and Formatting pod nor in the Design view of the topic. I searched Adobe for help and found this: ROBOHELP 10: Creating CSS for a Topic | Tech Comm Suite Highlights | Adobe TV. I did exactly the same steps, but my fonts and spacing do not change as they do in the video.

When importing a Word document I always receive a 0x80004005 error. By searching I saw that some other authors received the same error ID, but without a solution.Is there any chance to find out what is causing the problem?The test document I am working on now is only a page long with a few headings and an TOC. No external references or pictures. I am using TCS 4 with FM 12 and RH 11.I have an animation built in Flash and published to a SWF file.The animation is added to a FM doc. Publishing to PDF shows the animation as expected.I link an RH project to the FM book and the animation is missing.  There is an empty frame where the animation should be, and what is in the frame is a blank PNG with a made up name (i.e. filename004.png).  I can add the SWF file manually into the frame but it gets wiped during the next update. I can turn off updates but that defeats the purpose of Single Sourcing.  There is no setting I can find in RH to manage importing media files.Any help?

Why would a table in RH v11.0 appear fine in the editor mode and preview mode, but appear centered in the published version?  I have tried selecting the entire text and clicking left adjustify and also use the <left indention to ensure it is left.  It looks great in preview mode, but it is not publishing this way.  Help??See samples:This is the way it should appear..This is the way it is currently appearing:

If you set up a floating, non-scrolling header/title in your screen layout (skin), any links to a bookmark will place the bookmarked text underneath the header.To ensure the bookmark displays below the non-scrolling header, add the following to your stylesheet:a[name] {     padding-top: xxxpx;}where xxx is the total height of your non-scrolling region (I think this should include top and bottom padding and margins as well).

I just thought I'd post a few tips for people deciding to use Multiscreen HTML5 (possibly also Responsive HTML5, but I haven't tried it myself). Some of it may be obvious, and some of it may be because of the highly customise screen layout we have, but it tripped me up. 1. Removing TOC, Header, etc when printing.I decided to put a Print media definition in the css for my screen layout (skin), to keep those styles close together. It is possible to define them in your regular project css, but it seems neater to keep the styles in the one spot.Put the @media print section at the end of the stylesheet. I originally had it at the top, and had to use !important statements to get the styles to stick. When the section was placed at the end, the !important statement was no longer required.2. We habe some licenses of RH9. One user would like to move his license from one desktop PC to another. The person using RH has changed.So he would have to deactivate his license from his PC. How is this achieved and how do we find out to which licensed CD pack his license belongs?--Christoph

The Webhelp generated from RH10 does not work properly.Issues arise while opening it with Firefox 35.0 . The left pane does not appear.Earlier issues were there while opening it with Chrome, but i resolved it and now the help is working fine with Chrome.Firefox issue is still not resolved. Please, provide a solution for this.

We are generating a WebHelp project in RoboHelp HTML Version 10 and the navigation panel (TOC, Search, etc.) is no longer visible in the index file (viewed locally) and it's only visible by clicking "Show" when viewed in a web server. This issue is occurring with Internet Explorer 11 and Google Chrome Version 39.0.2171.99 m. I also tried to view the index files of previously generated projects and am experiencing the same issue (this did not occur before). Is this a known issue? It appears that there a few other discussions posted recently experiencing similar issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Nikki

My online help project will be translated into 35 languages, including Hebrew and Russian (Cyrillic) and other languages that don't use latin script or western style numbers. So now I'm wondering if there is any info out there about what fonts might work universally. I wonder if anyone has run into this issue. I've been using verdana, arial, and times new roman in my help systems..I'm not sure if this is correct, but I assume that if a user in another country doesn't have one of these fonts, their system will just subsitute it for something similar, so maybe it's not a problem. Although it might affect the overall appearance of the Help topics . 

Webhelp generated with Robohelp10 has a defect when opened in IE10. The Search fields do not enable topics to be visualized.I have tried the recommended changes to enable Searches to operate, but they result in blank pages all-round when launching the Webhelp in Internet Explorer 10.The files that I have replaced in the Webhelp folder are: whtbar.js and whskin_frmset01.htm.

Using RH11, no Table of Contents display in left navigation pane when WebHelp (Primary Layout) generates. What am I doing wrong?

  We currently use WebHelp Pro to publish projects successfully to Robohelp Server 9. What we would like to do now is transfer these files from our Robohelp Server (Apache\Tomcat) to our IIS Server (C:\inetpub\wwwroot) in an automated way (these are 2 different servers).   We would also like to be able to generate Robohelp reports off of the same IIS Server.  Are there ways to automate this process in Configuration Manager using Contexts or does IIS have to be on the same server as Robohelp. 

In Multiscreen HTML5 output, is there a way to keep the TOC on the left side of the screen from moving when I scroll the right side of the screen?

I just attempted to import a fellow colleague's topic into my RoboHelp project and am noticing the following issues: 1.) The topic title has the word "User Guide - " added to the beginning of it. 2.) The topic, when opened, contains Responsive HTML 5 navigational icons across the top. 3.) The entire imported topic appears to be sitting in a borderless table. 4.) Small, icon images appear stretched to the width of the topic; however when I double-click on the image it appears perfectly normal in the Image Preview.  Your advice on how to correct these issues is much appreciated. 

Hi,1. As, i have added previous and Next Topic buttons in my robohelp 11 chm, yet i am facing a flow issue.2. The flow issue is:-> While the chm file is generated, in the TOC pane of chm as shown in the image below:the arrow buttons in the highlighted image above are not working according to the toc flow.As, suppose i first click on Start page -> New features -> Recommended System Prerequisites, and now i wish to navigate directly top Start Page then it is creating a problem as the buttons doesn't work for the same. please help.

A blank pane is showing in the browser after I compile the webhelp. I've tried every setting I can think of to remove the blank pane. What am I missing?Ginger Shew-Stuckey

Bonjour,Récemment on fait l'actualisation de la version 8 vers la version 11 de RoboHelp. Tout semblait marcher normalement, comme avant, mais au moment de générer les pages, RoboHelp crée une adresse csh.htm dont on arrive pas à ouvrir. Le framework aussi est altéré. Que dois-je faire, s'il vous plaît ?MerciLuiza
