Questions

After completing a project for a client, I would like to create an archive of the final sequence by using the File > Project Manager selection.  This option is available when I use a regular Adobe Premiere project, but not when I use an Adobe Premiere for Teams project (screenshot attached).  Is there a reason I can't archive a Team project with the Project Manager?

I am working in a very large team project. I'm on a Mac Pro  (Late 2013) 10.11.6 - 3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5 with 32 gigs of RAM.  Premiere Pro v 12.1 (we were having too many problems in the current version and rolled back one).I was working in a sequence where I had a one and half hour multicam clip with 12 tracks of audio. I went through and created about 80 story and broll selects from it. So the timeline has one long multi-cam clip and about 80 subclips of b-roll and story selects from it. I then started editing these into a sequence with copy paste  - I was fairly well along so I probably added another 30 clips to that timeline.The whole thing was incredibly sluggish, I thought why don't I move the original multi-cam clip and my selects into a new sequence in a  new bin and delete it from my working sequence. So I lassoed all the clips I wanted moved and dragged them to a new bin, erroneously believing I would be creating the new sequence there.It started p

Hi,My team uses Team Projects in Premiere to work on videos, but when one of us adds a motion graphic template to the project from our shared library it creates a local folder and then no one else can access the graphic. We use a shared server for all of our media, is there a way to change the default share location to be on the server as well?Thanks

I am on a Team Project with another editor—he's handling the cutting, I'm trying to handle stuff like color grading and effects. However, any changes I make to the effects of a clip on the timeline is considered an entire-timeline change, and thus overwrites his edits on the entire timeline with whatever version of the project I was working with. Is there a way around this? Where I can color grade while he's cutting without either him taking steps back or having to overwrite my work?

We are currently cutting together a documentary on Premiere Pro, but we have unfortunately run into issue after issue. This project is a very large movie with many hours of footage that is being worked on by an award-winning filmmaker. Hello all, just adopted Team projects for Premiere as our collaborative workflow at work, and I'm trying something I've done a thousand times in a traditional project but which isn't working in team projects.It's a critical part of my workflow to be able to import Adobe AfterEffects compositions directly into Premiere and use them in sequences, but when I try to import an AE project, I get a message that says "this file type is not supported in team projects." Is it really true that you can't use AE comps in team projects? If so, then that completely ruins my ability to use team projects in my workflow.Thanks for any information you can provide,Nathan

We have created a team project for a television show we are editing. In the past, multiple editors have had their own project and we have imported their work into a "master" project as the edit progresses- So Team projects offer us a great way to clean up this workflow and collaborate better. The setup- A team project was created and shared among 5 editors - all editors are in the same location with separate CC logins managed under our enterprise account. All media is on one shared storage RAID that all computers are connected to. PPro and CC versions are all current as of 04/17/18. The project was started yesterday (04/16/18) and we almost immediately began getting "auto-save" errors:We also began to have media issues where a warning would pop up saying media was offline- The instruction was to use Team Project > Media Management to resolve this. Same problem with the latest release.  Whenever you save and quit out of premiere, you lose all labels next time you open the project.  I'm working in Team Projects specifically.The 2D and 2E recommendations above are definitely not a valid solution. This is a bug associated with the latest update.

This started happening after updated the software this week. Anybody know what's going on here?

Problem in a nutshell.  I'm handling a recut of a feature film, which was cut in Premiere.  I have no clue what they did as far as dailies ingestion.  I've been trying all week to get Team Projects to work with the project provided but have been constantly hitting a roadblock of offline media.I've done a myriad of things:• Cleared cache• Unlinked the entire project in the single user version, converted into the team project, relinking the media in team project• Created a new team project, then using the Media Browser, importing the single user master projectEverything I do gets the media online in the team project, however as soon as I quit Premiere and relaunch, all of the merged clips used in the project go offline.  If I manually relink the clips, and I quit Premiere yet again, when I open the team project, the clips are once again offline.I have even made sure the Tape Name metadata in the single user project's merged clips are present.  Another thing to no

Hey guys,I have a major bug here in Adobe Premiere for teams. which can really delay a team project if one of the members is gone for a while.I pressed "get latest changes", and the "resolve conflicts" panel appeared (as always if  I also changed anything) and then I accidentally clicked "keep my version" - which can happen, cause you always have to manually select what you want to do.And now I'm stuck with my version - which is not the latest one we worked on as a team and the lead member of our team is gone for a while and I have no way I can "take" the version again! - Maybe some of you guys do know a way, but otherwise this a major bug that needs to be fixed!everywhere, in every app I have the ability the sync it again... exact in Premiere for teams!Thanks already for answering, and to adobe, if there is no workaround, please fix it!Regards,Bernhard

So.. I'm about 70 percent through an edit in a team project that needs to be delivered in a few days.  I got it to open this morning, but it was being super laggy. Anytime I made an edit or moved the cursor, I'd get a beachball. So I closed the project and have tried to re-open it many times now to no avail. It just hangs. So far, I'm 10 minutes into the next attempt with no sign that it is currently loading beyond "Loading Team Project and user session descriptions".The other editors I work with are having the same problem. Any help?Mac OS 10.13.4Latest version of Premiere.I'd love to close this project out. Once I get it open, I imagine that I'll convert it to  a local project and wait until all the Team bugs get worked out.-jon

I was editing a team project when Premiere crashed. When I reopened it, it wouldn't load the team projects screen in the start menu. Whenever I would click on the Team Projects tab, it would load for a few seconds, saying "logging into team projects," then just revert to the default screen. When I would go to file>open team project it would again load for a second and then nothing would happen. Also nothing would happen when I went file>open recent>[team project I was just working on], nor would anything happen when I tried opening a different team project. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere. Didn't fix anything.

I am the only person who works on my projects (Premiere and After Effects) so there is absolutely no 'collaboration' with other people needed. However, I have been creating Team Projects (as opposed to standard projects) simply so I can continue working on the same project on another machine.I own 2 machines that I work on depending on whether I'm in the office or not. 27" iMac in the office and a Macbook Pro when working remotely. All my footage is kept on LaCie drives that I carry around, and connect to whichever machine I'm working on. My question is; Am I using the Team Projects for the right reason, or is there a more appropriate way to work on the same project switching between 2 different machines fairly regularly?I appreciate that when the Team Projects first became available, there were some glitches/alternate ways to make use of the Dynamic link function, but I think that has now been fixed (?).Any advise would be appreciated, any I'll happily provide more info if clarificati

When I access the team project Auto-Saves there has never been an Auto save to choose from.  Only Versions are available to me.  What am I doing wrong?

I found the location of the Team Projects local hub on the C drive. I like to keep C as clean as possible (That's strictly for OS & Apps). I have my Creative Cloud sync folder on F, and I'd like to do the same for the Team Projects local hub. I'm assuming that even though it's not a .pproj file, this is where Adobe is storing all of the edits & file paths locally, so it's effectively serving the same purpose as a .pproj file.Is that assumption correct (not really important, just curious)? And is it possible to change the local hub directory? CC ver 4.4.1.298PP ver 12.0.1 - Build 69Thanks for the help!

I have an editor who was working with me on a Team Project and then when they went to push their changes they received this message.When he clicks "Save Local Changes" it makes him save it as a new copy, if he chooses "Discard Local Changes" it closes without saving.Since receiving this message he's:Closed and re-opened the team project.We made sure my both of our machines were running on the same version of Premiere CCComputer RestartUninvited, and re-invited him to the Team Project. When Teamproject crashed after several minutes the steps I made haven't been saved as usual. My internetconnection was fine and I hadn't got a failure report that Teamproject had problems with saving. I also was not notified when repoening the project that it crashed befor (which seems to be normal for Teamproject projects) as it would have been the case with a Non-Teamproject project. The Teamproject was just the way it was when I opened it first befor I made the work which is now lost after Premiere crashed. Is there an "auto save" file or something equivalent in Teamproject to regain my work? Thanks.

Hello all,I'm tryin to open a team project from last year. IT tries to open, then it just sends me back to the "open" screen where I can choose my most recent projects. I've tried to drop it into a new team project, but that doesn't work... and the team project version slider is non-responsive. Can anyone help me?  Thanks!-jon

So I have been away from Premier for a very long time.  I have started working with it again recently.  My employer added me to their team account.  I have never worked with teams.  First I chatted with support to figure out how to transfer a local project to a team project so I can access it from home (2nd system).  I assumed it would also transfer the original media.I called support last night to figure out how to get it to work best, he kept telling me I need to have the main resources on both computers, ok I got that!  My next question was "How do I tell Premier Pro where the file is once I move it".  His response was to say "It....seems.....like.....you... don't.....understand.....so .....I....will...talk....slower.....you....need...to...have....the...resources......on........."  same thing he said earlier, just condescending and really slow like I don't know English (my first and only language for 41 years).Anyway, I want to upload the medi

Problem: we can no longer access or create any team projects, and are all receiving a strange error saying that our licenses are individual licenses.  We have been and appear to still be on a team license, per our account/team management on Adobe's site.My entire team started using team projects when they first appeared on the scene. We took a brief break from them, but now that we're trying to get back into them and initiate some new team projects, but we're all getting this mysterious error. Thanks in advance.

I had created a Team Project while I was logged in with my user at an old company. I had shared the Team Project with my personal team account so that I could continue to work at home, however after I left the company, before I could archive the team project, they removed my user. So now I've got a team project that is stuck in my list, and I can't remove or archive it. Hello there dear Adobe community,I recently started using the new (not so new anymore) Team Projects option with my crew and I have a question about the usage of the "rollback tool" (Version slider).I can't seem to figure out how to roll back the time with the tool as I can scroll down and see what I have changed but I can't go back to a previous version or auto-save. The problem in particular is that I deleted a sequence and I found it on the previous version, however my only option to get it back to my team project is to "import" it and this creates duplicated footage in the main project. Is there another way where I can just move back to a previous version without the need to "import" the sequence back to the project? (you know how you had the option to go your previous saves/auto-saves before... this doesn't seem to be the case in the team projects as you can only see what you have done before - correct me if I am wrong please )Thank you! Team Project crashed - when reopen, it reopens to the last "shared" version, last night. All of this morning's work is lost.I checked the "Browse Auto-Saves," and the only versions available are from when the project was opened after the crash.Help!!
