I am using Adobe Pro to create certificates for trainings that people have taken and it is important to make these certificates accessible.  The accessibility requirements for my organization require that the 'Show' field in the 'Initial View' tab be set to "Document Title" and the 'Language' in the 'Advanced' tab be set to English.  However, when I change these settings, save the document, and then split the document, the newly created documents don't retain the modified settings in those two tabs.  Frustratingly, the 'Description' tab changes ARE retained, so it seems like it should be possible to make it so that the other two tab settings are also retained. Does anyone have a workaround for this?  Otherwise, this leaves me with having to open each newly created certificate individually and change those settings for each one, which is a lot of extra work for no reason.  Thanks for any help people can provide!

Hi there,I need to make some minor changes to a few pdfs. The font used is Merriweather which I have activated in Adobe fonts. In the CC app it shows the font will be available in Adobe apps.  When I open the pdf and edit, the font shows as Merriweather until I make a change when it reverts to default. Merriweather is not listed in ther drop down font list. Do I need to physcially install font on my Mac, maybe? 

Is anyone familiar with the PDF Mail Merger website?  Or would anyone know if Adobe Acrobat could do something similar where we upload or read an Excel file of names and addresses and auto populate and create individual PDF files?  The PDF Mail Merger software looks good, but I don't have any information about where we would be uploading our data to, which worries me.  Would rather create this in-house and in Acrobat, if it is possible.  Thoughts from the pros?  Thanks!

I have a button called Button1 and a checkbox called Checkbox1.  Button1 currently has a red thin border.  If Checkbox1 is checked, I would like the border to change to green medium.  Is this possible?

Is there a way to change the 'Look Up' reference in Adobe Acrobat? Currently, when you select and right-click on a word, 'Look Up' opens the browser and displays the word on 'dictionary.com.' It is so inconvenient to read an article and go back and forth between the browser and Acrobat. Is there a way to change the reference to the Apple macOS dictionary (similar to the 'look up' option on the Mac), which shows all selected dictionaries in a popup window for a given word without using a web browser? Acrobat Pro, Version 2023.006.20380

I have a URL in my document and I want to hyperlink it.  Using the "link" icon only gives me the option to put a rectangle around it ....  How can I take some of my text and hyperlink it?  I can't figure out how to do it using the "link" icon (like all other applications allow you to do).I found a previous discussion regarding this but the answer points to a support document that must have been updated since because it doesn't address creating links.Thanks!Kathy

Greetings, I've had this issue with Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 (running on a Mac, via Boot Camp) for many years and on several computers (all Macs). I'm running a completely clean installation of Windows 10, brand-new, recently formatted and installed using Boot Camp Assistant.  There's no way it has a corrupt font or anything.  (The only other software installed is Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Autodesk AutoCad, Revit and 3ds Max, and OpenOffice.) When I PDF from Microsoft Edge using Adobe Acrobat, the resulting PDF looks fine, but selecting text causes a huge selection highlight, and copy-pasting it leads to garbled characters.  See attached: 1. An article from a newspaper (it doesn't matter which web site it is, even my own webmail; they all cause the same problem).   2. I PDF it using File - Print and Adobe Acrobat. 3. The resulting PDF looks fine.  But when I select any line, I get this huge blue hig

I have two activated devices under my Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription, and both should have access to the e-signature features. We have been using these features without issue for almost a whole year. However, yesterday on July 1, 2025 when attempting to request an e-signature, I received the error message: Action needed to request e-signatures. You can no longer request e-signatures with this user profile associated with <my user email>. Please contact your admin or resubscribe to restore access." The thing is, I am the admin and we have an active subscription with the next payment due on July 24, 2025. Can someone help me understand why this feature is suddenly blocked?

I am using Acrobat Pro version 20.0 for MacOS.  When editing a PDF, if I try to change the font or the font size, the whole app crashes.  This has happened with several different files on multiple days. Any advice? 

Word - The footnote indicator in the bodytext does navigate to the Footnote text at the foot of the page, but then does not return to the place in the bodytext. In Word you double-click the footnote number in the footnote to naviagte back to the bodytext indicator. Is this usual behaviour? Thanks

I want to write a script that changes the line style of certain checkboxes (i.e. "solid", "dashed") and also potentially change the border color to "none" in order to remove the border. More specifically I have a bunch of checkboxes with names ending in a number. When a textbox is updated with a number I want all checkboxes up to that number to change to lineStyle Solid.

Hello, Why did my created links disappeared after saving and reopening.  I created links using Adobe Pro 2017 on a pdf built using AEM Forms Designer.  After saving, the links disappeared.  I can't use the tool ADD/EDit links within document as it is greyed out and got a prompt that will need to be edited using AEM Forms Designer TIA

Hello,For my students, I am creating 11x17 cover sheets for sections. It is easier to keep track of etc. I have been converting my pdfs to image and then inserting them to get what I want and this has been working just fine. But now, I want to make put two image pdfs on top of each other on one side of the page and I cannot get them to line up correctly. I know there is a way to put exact sizes and positions on the page, but for the life of me I cannot find it. I have done exactly what the instructions say to do, Right-click the image and choose "Set Position". But that is not an available option. Am I missing something? Did I somehow lose some features? Can someone please walk me thru what I am doing wrong?But while I am here, is there a better way of adding the PDF to the 11x17 than saving as image?Thanks in advance

ive got a document with automated weight fields. So when the net weight gets filled at the bottom it adds it to the top two net weights as shown by the arrows. what i am trying to do is code so that if the pallete tickbox is ticked it only fills in the left hand net weight with the net weight.  if the box is instead ticked it only fills out the net weight in the right hand net weight. as currently it fills in box left and right hand net weights.  hopefully this makes sense. if not feel free to ask me any questions id be happy to answer them.

Adobe Acrobat for Microsoft 365 has been integrated in our Environment. When copy link from a pdf file on Sharepoint, and shared the link to user through email, when user click the link, a browser opens a black screen and said, "Something went wrong, please try again later" for a few seconds, then it open from the browser with no issue.  When user open the pdf file directly from the Sharepoint by select the ellipses, open | Open from Adobe Acrobat, there is no issue. How can I fix the issue of getting the error message?    

Trying to determine how to make a gross profit percentage calculation populate in field usgp.I'm trying to divide usppu/usdcost, multiply by 10, and have the result populate in field usgp. Hey guys, I'm new with adobe and I have a project that I need help with. My goal is to have a PDF with a 3D model of an object and each surface would be clickable. When you click on a surface, I want an instruction pannel to pop up. I already have my object with different surfaces that are clickable but I can't get to recognize surfaces and make a pannel appear when I click on one. I have the newest version of Adobe Acrobat - the non-colorful one released in April 2023 and I cannot figure out how to just add text on top of existing text (ie a form field) in the document. It wants to try to edit the existing text instead of adding new text on top of it. The whole menu is different and this is not self-explanatory. Help!
